UPDATE: The dealer took the car back and has resolved the issue after having it at the dealership 3 months. They were gracious on the price and kept in contact this time. Unfortunately the car still sat for 2 months before they even started on it so I can’t really raise the 1 star rating. Still wouldn’t recommend taking you car here.After having car for 30 days I finally had car towed back to my house. It seemed they only worked on the car when I called as there was always something that was recommended as another part. Car went in not running, on a call with the master technician, he actually said he hadn’t checked the battery when I told them I didn’t need them to sell me a new battery because the battery was brand new.As you can see from the quote, they supposedly cleared the check engine light and replaced fuel pump. The other pictures show that they didn’t clear the check engine light and when hooked up to a code reader the fuel system has low pressure. Exactly what they said was the reason for the car not starting! They supposedly test drove the car, yet it won’t go over 40 mph or shift from 2nd gear.READ OTHER YELP REVIEWS! I worked with Ramzey (with assistance from Brooke) on purchasing my Audi A6.The car was clean and ready for our test drive when we arrived, something that doesnt always happen at other dealerships I have been to. Ramzey gave us a great test drive route to try some rough roads, high speed interstate driving and some stop and go traffic to give the Audi a good run through.After the test drive, we decide it was the car for us. We left to get lunch and when we returned, we signed the papers and were on our way home with our new car.The entire process was very friendly, efficient and went as smooth as I could have hoped. The Volvo mechanic Jason is the absolute best. He is knowledgeable, skilled, and honest. Because of him I could continue to drive my Volvo with over 300K miles. I decided to purchase a new Volvo and the sales person was Ramsey was very good also. He was polite and respectful. He did not pressure me to make a decision. He promptly answered my questions and provided me the needed information.

I’ve purchased a vehicle from here (Mercedes so I worked with that department) about 5-6 years ago and the service was not good at all. It was very disorganized and seemed as if no one was taking any of there jobs seriously. During the course of the time I had my car and brought it in for services and car washes the experience was far from good. BUT now I have just went back to fix some issues on my car and seen that staff has changed and for the better! I wanna mention the man Austen Carver for being the reason for me buying another car from here. He took amazing care of me when I had my Mercedes in his department. Nothing but the best was given to me and I felt cared for genuinely. If it weren’t from him I would NOT have even gave the dealership another chance but I’m glad I did. To the man Ramsey who helped me find me perfect car, you are also top tier. Very pleased with how the dealership has changed and would recommend anyone to go back to them if the old one left a negative feeling. This new crew (some of the old crew is till there but they are the amazing ones) is better then ever. 5/5

These guys went above and beyond for us. Ive wanted a honda CR-V for years, and found that they had a 2018 on their lot. After test driving it and falling in love, Andre went above and beyond to work with me and give me the absolute best deal. Their finance team worked all day for me and my partner to give us the best deal with the bank. We cannot thank them enough!! If I were to have to look for another car I would come back to these guys in a heartbeat, and honestly I wish that I could somehow give them more than five stars!!

Terrible customer service! The only reason we come here is get to Subaru-specific parts replaced on our Tribeca but it takes two days to ship the parts in and then there is no phone call or text or app or anything else that tells you that the parts came in and they are ready to do the work! Just called back to see if the parts were in, and got routed to a receptionist who the routed me to the service desk which only took me to a voicemail - seriously?!? Service desk folks also don’t seem to talk to one another and makes the whole operation a mess: I stood at the desk and watched the poor guy try to handle 3 check-outs, 3 phone calls, and pick up my ticket for which nothing had been done since I dropped off the vehicle earlier in the morning - and he was the only person there! Won’t be buying my next vehicle from here if the service side doesn’t improve!

Frankly, the service staff has the worst communication I’ve ever experienced from any business (Volkswagen). I would seriously consider all alternative options prior to taken a vehicle here. For the 3rd consecutive service visit, I cannot get a call back close to a week after the estimated completion date. If you decide to get service here, your best bet is to show up and demand your car back because leaving a voicemail is wasting your breath. It seems like an odd business model to force customers to BEG you to take their money.

Purchased a brand new 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan in January of 2019 has 36000 miles and we are going on our 3rd set of tires. Have gotten nothing but a big run around said they could give me a discount 5 1/2 weeks later from when I contacted them and would get back with me on price that was 2 days ago. Still haven’t heard back!! Should have stuck with Toyota. Would never recommend this dealership or there service department. I would advise not to buy a Volkswagen!!

During a cross-country road trip, my tire pressure light came on a few miles down the highway from Audi Normal. Rather than search around for a gas station with an air pump and hope the calibration is correct, I stopped in unannounced. The service advisor was very friendly and within a few minutes, she had me and my SQ5 back on the road. Prompt & friendly service is very much appreciated when I am in an unfamiliar place!

Their sales team was great, they offered me a fantastic deal on a new vehicle lease, however the finance department could use improvement. Went to Grossinger to apply for financing and finalize the deal we had made beforehand and the finance department informed me that they couldn’t approve me for a lease. The finance person swore that she “tried really hard to make it happen” and told me my Debt to Income ratio was way too high. It made me feel that I was crazy to think I could ever qualify for a lease through Subaru. I left feeling rejected and embarrassed. The next day I called up Subaru Motor Finance to ask them for more information on why I wasn’t approved. Turns out I had a couple missed payments on a student loan a few years back that they wanted me to explain. Didn’t mention anything about my Debt to Income ratio. I gave them the honest truth and owned up to my past transgression and explained to them that my financial situation is much more stable and they gave me tier 2 approval. Went to a different dealer tonight to take delivery on a new Subaru that is exactly the same as the one I was going to get at Grossinger. They were even able to match the deal I made at Grossinger. Either the finance department doesn’t have a very good relationship with their captive lender or they refuse to try very hard to get financing through. Either way it’s doing nothing to help them or their customers.

We got a great deal on a 2017 Jetta. Everyone was great from financing to the location manager, John. He worked hard to give us the best price. Our sales rep, Ray, was stellar. We did our search online so contacted quite a few lots. Ray was by far the most responsive by email and phone. When we came in, he was very low-pressure and gave us a lot of confidence that we were getting an accurate representation of the car’s condition. He didn’t disappear once we committed to buying. He was quick to follow-up on some last-minute requests and wanted us to be happy with the purchase. We highly recommend Bloomington/Normal Auto Mall.My only complaint is that all the lots insist on getting you in the location before they will start negotiating the price. It seems like this preference is behind the curve compared to other industries. If preliminary negotiations could be done online, it would save time for everyone. But, again, Ray was by far the best we dealt with at getting us complete information via email, and they all work hard to make the process painless. We greatly appreciated their professionalism.

I do understand if it cant be done soon, but zero communication is ridiculous.I had a wonderful experience with Amanda Miller and Grossinger. They seem to be striving for white-glove experience but check-in/out is SLOW and costs are RIDICULOUS! $65 oil change (they took it down to $43.86); $140 for diagnosis not applied to the repair; then $31.08 for “Miscellaneous” charges described as Dealer Dox and Disposal/Shop Charges all cars get coming in for service. Ridiculous! I’m taking my Navigator to Pro Tire & Auto to get the work done for $660 instead of quote $1606 at Gross.

Would NOT recommend this Audi dealership to anyone!! Horrible customer service. We had a verbal agreement with Ramsey. First, he cancelled the appointment said his financial lady had the flu had to leave, we would need to reschedule. Ok fine, things happen, gave him the benefit of doubt. Guess no one else can purchase or make any deals on that day since financial lady was out. We rescheduled to the following week. One hour prior to our appointment he called and said corporate changed the rules that went into effect immediately and was unable to make the deal. Just so happens these changes happened on that same particular day haha! Keep in mind we live a hour away and we were already in the area. Ramsey states he would give us a call as soon as he heard from upper management, well that was a lie as well. I’ve tried to call him several times, he has been dodging my calls!!! Not a single phone call from Ramsey. An update would have been nice or simply letting us know that he could not make the deal. Instead, he has been stringing us along the entire time. I would take your business elsewhere, we def will not be going back!

Great overall experience at this business. I worked with Ramzey Ard, who made the process pretty painless for me. There was an unfortunate happenstance where a screw had made its way into a brand new set of tires as the car was brought up for my test drive. They fixed the issue with the tire and I was able to purchase the vehicle with minimal stress.However the tire fix must have thrown off the alignment with the rest of the wheels because it pulls to the right now. Im sure the dealership will take care of this issue though and Ive already contacted Ramzey to help with setting up a service appointment. Looking forward to confirming a great back-end sales experience to a great front-end one.Edit: I misspelled Ramzeys name at first

One of the most unprofessional, unresponsive, dealerships I have ever visited. I went in for a test drive one week ago, before leaving I provided the sales rep (Ramzey) the necessary information to value my trade-in; I told him that I wanted to come back in two days to make a deal. Ramzey told me he would put together some numbers and contact me shortly. I was not contacted by anyone for 4 days, and when I finally was contacted it was only because I called first, and left a message. Ramzey told me he was still working on it and had no information for me yet. I called the front desk today to see if I could get in touch with a different sales rep only to be told the vehicle was already sold. I would only recommend this dealership to someone who enjoys having their time wasted.

Never again!! I would not even give one star. It has been nothing but a headache. The deal when I bought my car was I would get remote start installed on it. They called a few weeks later said they had parts. I dropped my car off they told me they had to drive it to fairbury they found someone there to install it. They would make sure and wash it and put gas in when I got it back. Ten days later they call and say sorry they cant put remote start in they brought my car back to me where I work dirty and out of gas and no remote start!! Second time check engine light came on they said probably he had cap just tighten in and they were scheduled out 8 days. So we waited.... In that time the passenger window stopped working. Took it in the next week they only had 2 days!!! Wow awesome right!?!? Well went to get it and the passenger door was scratched and a dent! So had it for 3 days took it back to shop to fix the dent they had 12 days to fix scratch in door!!! Had it back a week and the passenger window stopped working again!! Now they have had my car 18 days and not a word from them!!! We called yesterday and talked to someone they have not even started working on my car and could not tell me what was going on!! My car is brand new bought off showroom floor!! Never again!!!

We have a leased vehicle from this dealership. We were promised a full service maintenance package with our lease. The first 2 oil changes are free regardless. They tried to charge us for them anyway. When “said” free oil changes were up they claimed they would not honor the maintenance package because they didn’t have a record. Jeff moniger the General manager offered to split the cost with us because he said we got too good of a deal. He then claimed he would take care of it. When we returned it still was not addressed. The Subaru service is dishonest. Said we needed new brake pads at 12,000 miles. Got a 2nd opinion from another place they said they were in great shape. Took the car in again at 18k miles and again were told brake pads should be replaced. Also stated we needed 4 new tires. When asked the service person if they were on commission he got very upset and said that is none of my business. Will be contacting consumer protection agency to report their dishonest practices. This place is totally unprofessional. We have nothing but issues with them from day one. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We will be in the market for 2 vehicles this next year. We will not return. Shame on you Leader automobile

Ive had my car with their service department for 2 weeks.Since day 1, Ive had to call to get updates. Promised car would be ready on X day, called that morning to find out if that was still the plan, was told I would get a call back later in the day. No call.Call the next day, promise the car would be ready the day after. Call that day, service rep I was working with left for the day, no update.Keep giving me promises of delivery and not living up to it. People have been nice about it tho, otherwise I wouldnt have given them 2.

They were understaffed and only had one finance person working between all of the dealerships on a busy Saturday. Great deal, great experience and I hate buy vehicles but this was the first time I didnt have to haggle or anything.The first car I went to see wasnt for me but I gave Brayden my information and what I was looking for, he sent me a text a month later when he found something I might like and I bought it. I will be going back when I need another vehicle. I am impressed and that is saying something.

Don’t give them your business. Read reviews and avoid bad experience. Dealers like Grossinger Motors give bad rep to the entire car dealership industry. Their sales people are bottom feeders of the car dealership lake! I’ve never seen such unethical and dishonest behavior. I made an offer on the car and we agreed on the deal. I got confirmation that everything was buttoned up. However, I couldn’t pick up the car on the same day, so they took $500 and confirmed that car will be ready for me after the weekend. I asked 3 times for confirmation and I was reassured that they had my deposit and car was taken off the market. Well, 4 hours later and conveniently 15 min before closing their general sales manager Jeff Connors (JC) called me and pretended that my deposit never happened and theyve sold the car to another buyer. This is such a dishonest behavior and there are no words to describe it. If he didn’t know about my deposit why was he calling? Needless to say, transaction was still pending on my Visa. He made me call them back multiple times to get my money. Long story short, read other reviews, don’t waste your time and stay away from these con artists. Grossinger Motors doesn’t deserve your business. You will be disappointed.

Horrible place to go for a vehicle. This is my first time writing a review but I don’t want people going through what I have. I have been having problems with my car since I got it 8 months ago.The people that work here DON’T care about you. They always have new people working which is a red flag. They ALWAYS have an attitude. Their customer service is HORRIBLE and that is every department i’ve had to deal with.Had a flat tire and had to call five times and no one ever called me back. Left voicemails and kept getting the run around asking about my warranty.Started calling them when they opened at 9am and they ignored me and no one called me the entire day or after.This is just one of the many horrible experiences that I’ve had at this place of business. I can go on and on. I will drive to Peoria for any future work. I have been told from other car care centers that they hear bad reviews about how this business treats its customers all the time. How I’ve been treated by this place is unacceptable, and it wasn’t just one time.Diana

Went there for an emergency repair. Was overcharged and on top of that $65 of property was stolen from my vehicle. I called and tried to file a complaint but was told I could ONLY do so in person. Problem is, I live 90 minutes away from this location. They would not accept filing a complaint over the phone, really? So I am the one with the loss and they will not compensate me.

Joseph Perkins at Bloomington-Normal Auto Mall was a huge help when it came to fulfilling my automobile needs. Joseph was very knowledgeable when it came to choosing between the cars and SUVs of the Subaru, Volkswagen and especially the Audi brand. He was very well versed in all of them. What I liked the best, Joseph was helpful but not pushy like some sales staff Ive delt with at other dealerships. Overall the dealership is very modern and clean and everyone is helpful. I really like the service team as well when it comes to taking care of my vehicle. Id highly recommend Bloomington-Normal Auto Mall and seeing Joseph Perkins if youre in the market for a new or pre owned vehicle.

Absolutely smooth and painless process with the help of Tom Gibson. I found the vehicle on the internet and made a phone inquiry. I spoke to Tom and agreed to travel to Normal on the next Saturday. When I arrived the vehicle was detailed and ready to test drive. Upon deciding to purchase the vehicle Tom and I had come to terms in less than 5 minutes and I was on my way back home in less than an hour. I had travelled 275 miles to Grossinger Motors and would not hesitate to do so again.
