This is now the second time since Ive been a JcPennys card holder that theyve sent me a new card saying theyd transfer any payment from my previous card to the new card. I have tried to activate my new card 3 days in a row now after Ive made the payment to my old card even though it says that they will transfer that balance to my new card. Now neither of my cards, old or new,, work when I went to JcPennys twice in the last 3 days.

I use to go to JCPenney find what I wanted clothes, shoes, make my purchase and leave. Now I went found a pair of pants didnt have my size and left. Good thing I went to Dillards.

An employee named Tim was very rude and nosey and made me run across the store to get a different shirt because mine had a tag. Terrible customer service I also saw him yell at a girl in the fitting rooms for using the “mens” fitting room. He was checking out ladies in the register and stopped as he saw her coming out to show someone a dress and ran to the fitting rooms to tell her she couldn’t use them because they’re were many girls fitting rooms and not as many men’s. she was a teenager trying on clothes and the whole fitting rooms were empty. Worse customer service I’ve ever seen. Will definitely not go back.

Last minute hair cut. Stylist was friendly and experienced. Little shorter than I wanted but everyone raves about my shorter hair.

Shopped on line because Google didnt show a store in Illinois. Just happened to be in South Park Mall and saw the store. Very nice and clean place. I ordered some Sox on line in March of 2021 and havent gotten a bill yet. When I asked about the billing the clerk said I would get one the end of April. Well see if that happens. 😏

If you have to exchange a gift you better have the receipt...otherwise they treat you like a criminal!!!

Nice store but the womens restroom has been smelling bad for a long time. All of the toilet bowls are covered in rust color. Their janitor is not cleaning them like they should. The smell is really bad. It needs to be remodeled its really disgusting. I think it would help business if they put all new toilets in there and keep it clean as in really use cleaners and scrub the toilet bowls. I cant understand why they dont inspect to make sure they are being cleaned good. Hire a new janitor or manager.

Favorite place for mens clothes

Amazing shopping experience! Who wouldve thought from JCPenny? A gentleman from the mens department by the name of Tom, put me into a great everyday blazer and did everything he could to find some pants from the surrounding Pennys until we finally had to order them from catalog. This guy went completely out of his way to help me and made me feel like he was hired just for MY shopping experience, much like a personal shopper.

Still one of my go- to department stores after all these years! Friendly and helpful staff who get you the most discount and selection possible. Many nice cute items.

It was great until we got to the part of checking out, when we realized that they take off your rewards first, then the discount for using your JCP card. This results in the customer being charged more for an item. I was told they changed this procedure about a year ago. Rewards work best on items that are not on sale. Use more rewards on less expensive items, and use less on more expensive items, so you take advantage of a larger percentage off of the expensive items. Good exercise in utilizing those math story problems we endured through school.

Large assortment of items

Sales person very knowledgeable. Too many conditions concerning free delivery and warranty. Not sure if we will purchase here or not. Will still consider making the purchase. Still, salesperson was very helpful...she would get 5 stars.

Hardly any clothes anymore

I have not shopped at a JCPenney store in years and was pleasantly surprised. Very clean and organized store with friendly sales people. Lots of sale items, good prices, stylish clothes and even cotton and rayon clothes instead of plastic polyester ( which is very hard to find these days). I intend to go back soon.

This was a nice store. Great mens and baby sections. Customer service was great from the 2 associates that helped me. Some areas under constriction.

Usually I am very happy with pennys . But this time I Left very upset ! Your special, buy 1pair of boots, get 2 free. Spent an hour trying on and finding 3 pairs, took to register, asked if i could leave em there, went up to get some towels, when i came back they were gone. Girl said she put them back, 20 min. looking for them . No find. Left towels at reg. And LEFT. You would think one would ask the other before taking things back.

Customer service is alive and well at JCPenneys! So helpful every time I visit their great sales and a fantastic selection.

Theres always a ton of clearance items at this JC Penney. You can get some really good deals. The organization of things could be better but ultimately, its a good place to shop. Their sephora has some great employees. The store manages to stay consistently stocked, although sometimes Fenty Beauty is missing a shade or too on the lighter end of the spectrum.

Need more informed staff. It seems many are not able to fulfill the work requirements needed to follow through on tasks. Getting returns established is diffucult. If you need assitance there is no management to refer to.
