Brought my bike in to the Fox Point location last Saturday July 17. Since it was a perfect day for biking, I was frantic, after having discovered my back tube had a puncture. I want to say the staff at the service desk were superb! They replaced the tube in 20 minutes, which had me out biking in within a half hour! How I failed to give them a tip is beyond me; they deserve a bonus! Anyway well done Wheel & Sprocket!

Very attentive, gave me what I needed vs. what was possible to sell. All my needs were met with great attituce and efficiency, and he went beyond the call of duty - even put my cleats on for me.

Work order completed 2 days earlier than the original estimate and the job was done perfectly. I had a spoke replaced and the wheel trued - perfect execution in record time. Fantastic service and I will keep using Wheel and Sprocket as my bicycle shop and service center.

The service its OUTSTANDING since you step in, they are already how they can help, they help you putting stuff in your bike and suggesting items, not just for sale and not necessarily the most expensive, thats why they are one of the best bicycle shops. Customer service is PHENOMENAL! Worked with both Phil and Joel and both were super pleasant and very knowledgeable. Phil offered some great suggestions and helped figure out the correct fit and bike. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase! The only reason I gave an overall rating of 9 instead of 10 was that I didn’t care for the limited manufacturers the store carries. Was set on getting a Specialized, which they don’t carry. I ended up having to go elsewhere for my bike, but we found a Felt which was perfect for my fiancé :) Overall, decent pricing and solid quality products.

We have purchased our daughters bikes here for the last 2 years and love the turn in option, the extended service and how calm and kind everyone is.

I just got back from going through the advanced Guru fit with Phil and after having done several other advanced level fittings through various services and shops, all I can say is this was, without a doubt, the most comprehensive experience Ive had so far. Phil relied both on his extensive experience and various technological tools (everything from lasers to motion capture) at his disposal to make a very accurate assessment and update only necessary changes to bike and posture.At no point was I feeling rushed (this had been an issue with some past fittings Ive done), he took plenty of time to cover any pain or issue that I discussed, going back years, and seemingly adjusted for each one.I will be recommending his services to many friends and family members moving forward.

Since 1990 I’ve never bought a new bike anywhere else, and I’ve sent more than 60 of my friends there to buy there bikes. My riding family/fiends from Madison drive to FPWAS to by their bikes. My riding family from Memphis and Florida have shopped with FPWAS.I’ve, bought from them 8 carbon bikes, several aluminum consisting of one Madone6, 2 Madone Project 1, Domane, Emonda, Stache 29er, 9700, 1500, 5500…Yeah, I’d recommend it and I have no desire to shop anywhere else for bikes. Excellent service from Jesse. I called if a product was available and it was surprisingly in stock. I just gave him my name and that was it. I arrived in about 15-20 minutes and the product was already out of the box and assembled for immediate use. He helped me bring it to my car and attach it on my roof top.Excellent service again as experienced many times in the past.

I am a 65 year old weakling, and hadnt been on a bike in years. Im also a chicken, fearful of falling off a bike, and wanted a simple kids bike with one speed, and pedal brakes. I couldnt actually find one offered like this on Wheel & Sprockets web site, and actually initially contacted them to see if they would put together a bike that I ordered on-line from another source. Wheel & Sprocket emailed me back, telling me that they did, in fact, have that very type of bike that they could order for me, so I ordered a great bike from them. It came in within less than 3 weeks, they assembled it, and then made sure that it fit. The bike comes with a year of free adjustments. I love it.

I wish I could share the pleasurable experiences at W&S that the majority described but my wife and I definitely did not feel welcome when we went in to inquire about the wahoo smart trainer. The salesperson explained they did not have the smart trainer set up (sold out) even though wahoo advertises on their website that this location had it set up to test out. We inquired about accessory parts and he brought it out for us. Salesperson was clearly irritated when we did not want to purchase that part immediately and walked away from us even though I still had questions unanswered. Not planning on spending my money here.

We dropped in on a Sunday to do some window shopping for a bike and pick up a spare tube. Its odd shopping during a pandemic, but you could tell they were taking every precaution to keep their employees and guests safe. Selection was low due to high demand, but we were still able to find a bike that ticked all the boxes. Ended up buying a new bike and completely forgot about getting a spare tube. Dan was super helpful and informative. Well definitely be back!

Phil the Bike Fitter is awesome! His knowledge and expertise is unparalleled to any other fitting Ive received. I was so impressed with how he handled my girlfriends bike fitting, that I decided to come in myself (since Ive been experiencing pain of my own). Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to resolve all your body aches/pain from cycling!

We purchased 2 bikes for my boys (13 and 10) . Even though we had a buy back credit waiting at a competitor for a 4 year old bike for my older son the customer service and time spent explaining things made all the difference in the world. They get it and I will speak from experience there is a ton of value in the service/maintenance packages you may purchase with a new unit. 1 full price tune up is more expensive than their most expensive service package. Smart!!

This has been my bike shop for 5 years. They are so knowledgeable, kind, and reasonable in price. Even when theyre busy, they always have all the time in the world. Plus, its a local family business. You cant beat that.

I went in with my wife bike to purchase a bike. I was told that there were no bikes in stock that would fit her. Before I had a chance to ask if/when they would have any more bikes in stock. The salesman had told me I dont want to waste my time.Maybe this was a small issue, but I have had much better, friendlier experiences at other local bike shops.

In all my years of buying bikes around the country, I’ve been treated best by the team at Wheel & Sprocket. Case in point, this week we decided to add an ebike for my wife. Sure we did the normal ride around the parking lot. But we have some special fitting requirements. Well the Fox Point team made numerous adjustments and tests. Then they suggested an in-town route to give it a more realistic try. They offered me the same ebike in my size to accompany her on the ride to help assess and assist with any questions she might have. Wonderful. It made all the difference in how my wife was able to assess what became her new bike. Of course there is always the ultimate 30 day return policy should there be issues. There has been follow up from the shop all week to see if we need any additional adjustments or have questions. A wonderful experience.

Called to verify that they had a part in stock and was pretty excited that they had it. upon arrival there was a long line out the door. since i knew what i was there for and i just spoke to someone about it i wanted to ask an associate if i could just grab the part quickly. when i did i was very unprofessionally denied... After waiting for 30+ minutes i was told that they misspoken about the part being in stock. big waste of time for me. definitely not fast or reliable.

Best bicycle shop in the Milwaukee area, because of the staff. Theyre all great but I have to single out Paul. Hes been working at Wheel and Sprocket in Fox Point for at least 20 years. Paul has forgotten more about bikes than most of us will ever know. He will give you good, thoughtful honest advice, whether you are a first time bike buyer, upgrading to your $7,000 dream bike, or just want a bell and basket for the one you ride to the grocery store. More than that, he is one of the nicest guys I have ever met.

Took my 35 year old Trek in for service. New tires and a going over. The bike I got back was AMAZING. Mike from service was so awesome. My bike looked like new and rode great. I love this store and the service is top notch. I bought a new bike at the Wheel and Sprocket Bike Expo and love it too. Not many places left with W & S level of service.

I reached out to these guys because they had a rear wheel in stock I was looking for to finish a build when I could not find it anywhere else. Stopped by yesterday to pick up training wheels for my grandsons bike. Found the Wald 255 set on line and called to confirm it was in stock at Foxpoint store. It was confirmed quickly and I was told about sizing specifics needed. I entered the store that was well marked for spacial distancing. Employees all had a face mask on. Customers, including children also wore masks(thanks for responsible parents). There was a separate desk area for pickups. This was done very efficiently. There was a separate exit door.Terrific experience in every way despite the social needs to keep everyone healthy.I bought my first bike in the early 80s and another in the 90s from Wheel and Sprocket. Since Ive had bikesbike done, bought parts, helmets etc.

The service was beyond expectations and really highlighted the benefits of brick & mortar shops. I was on the fence between 2 options and the service rep answered everything and even illuminated concerns and features I didn’t think of. Super knowledgeable and nice. I’m not overplaying it to say it was a perfect experience.

The Staff at Fox Point are very knowledgeable and friendly. When I go in there and need help with something from a bike to parts to helmets, they talk to you like you are family.

A great place to buy a bike! The sales and service staff were extremely helpful in guiding me to the right bike and making sure it was running smoothly during the initial break-in period. Dan Sipin probably spent a few hours with me while I tried out bikes and tested out various adjustments! He didnt hesitate to order me a new bike when the first one wasnt quire what I wanted. Love the 30-day return policy!

Had an issue but was promptly resolved by manager, they make a great effort to satisfy their customers even when something goes wrong.

I worked with Phil and he was great. Due to COVID, I essentially bought my Domane SL6 over the phone sight unseen. When I picked up the bike, Phil fitted it to me, helped me change and add a fee things, and made sure I understood the bike. A great buying experience.

Wheel and sprocket is awesome when it comes to bike knowledge. I wanted to give a shout out to this location though. On two separate occasions I had a problem which came up suddenly. One was with the straps that attached my bike to the car carrier, and the other was with the brakes on my back wheel when they seized up after the bike toppled in the wind during a ride. Both times the staff was super helpful and didnt want any remuneration. They got me back rolling again in no time. I would give them more than five stars for neighborhood friendliness if I could. I had a great experience buying a TREK FX5 here from Joel.

(from June 2020) If W&S doesnt stock a special tool, they order it and it arrives very quickly. I suppose I could order from on-line sources, but I always get such great service from W&S as to make them my #1 choice.

I realized that I needed new tires before a trip up north to ride in the snow, and I realized it the day before I was set to depart. Wheel and Sprocket was able to get my bike in, get new tires on it, and have it ready for me to go that same day. Way to go, that new rubber saved my trip!
