Impeccable honest quality service. Truck service light went on. Two other places told me codes so I thought it was simple to fix. I was wrong when I asked them to only replace 5th cylinder coil.Warned it might not be only thatI went forward with it. I was referred to Kar-Guard by the mechanics shop that I was going to years ago and also by the Dealership. I have been going there for years now. Employees are polite, professional and knowledgeable, the business is always clean. They tell you what is wrong with your vehicle and give you the repairs price. If they find additional repairs need to be done, they call and advise you of it and the price, before doing any additional repairs. They are also comparable in price also, I have gotten estimates from other companies before. They also stand behind their work.

They charged over a 1000 dollars for my truck to get fixed. The problem never went away. It was good for a few days then it would come back up. When I took it back they said they couldn’t find the problem. They then did a change in parts since it had warranty but still made me pay labor. The truck still not working right. I suggest for anybody that reads this to take their car somewhere else since they don’t know what they are doing.

Mr. Reed was very helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to auto services. In this day and time so many people with service shops take advantage of people that may not know as much. But Mr. Reed made me feel good about what I needed done. He is honest and trustworthy and I will be back !

This place has been my mechanic for abt 2 years now. They have yet to fail me. I have had more than once that I had to come in on a moments notice and they always make space. They are courteous and polite, honest and have fair pricing. I have never had to come back to re-fix something. If youre in the Millington area I advise you to pay them a visit and see for yourself. You wont regret it.

Very nice guys, I had them do an inspection on my car brakes. They verified everything was decent and in working order with my braking system and more. Good quality customer service.

Told me the diagnosis, explained what they thought was the fix, gave me the quote and timeline for the work. It was what they thought fixed it in the time they said at the price they quoted, no games or surprises. Great workmanship and customer service. Honest business will be taking my cars there in the future and will suggest to all my friends.

This was my first visit. They did a great job! The staff was very helpful, show me what was wrong, had my vehicle fixed at the time they said it would be repaired. They wowed me. And I will return for future repairs.

Got some flowmaster super 10’s installed on my 16 Ram. The guys were very knowledgeable and do some great, quality work. They’ve been around for quite a while so that should tell you something.

I called to inquire about an o2 sensor... then gentleman who answered the phone was very rude and disrespectful. He had stated that I had to buy the part from them directly and then they could preform the labor on my vehicle, which is fine. However, he continued to be very rude and then hung up the phone on me and said that I was waisting his time for making him look up the exact sensor? This is my money that I’m willing to pay a company? Very disrespectful. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

This is a repair shop. They said it was the battery. Are you trying to tell me that they cant test the battery and see if it was good. We knew we had just bought a new battery. My husband had to pick the battery up and take it to Auto Zone; yes it was good. Of cou6, when we took it back they said it was something else. For once I would love to find an honest repair shop. Thought I had found one; NOT.

They provided excellent service every step of the way and really proved how good they are when I came back for follow-up.The full story:I had an exhaust smell in the cabin of my car periodically. I took my car in for them to look at it and they found a crack in the underside of my exhaust manifold. They completed that repair as well as brakes, alignment, and tires. When I got the car back I smelled exhaust again the next day and brought it back for them to check it out. They did a complete reinspection of the exhaust system and found no leaks. Then they continued searching the car over to find out what else could be causing the smell. Then they found an issue with the PCV system on my car, researched for recalls, gave me the recall info, and did a cleaning of the system for me at no cost in case that could help.As I left, I noticed the guarantee on the window--they mean it!

This repair shop charged me for a service that they did not discuss with me prior to performing the service. I went in, asked for an oil change and to have my gear shifter looked at. At every other repair shop Ive ever been to (across several states) the mechanic ALWAYS discusses the cost of any action/repair before performing it. This was not done here. I was not made aware of any costs or prices until I was being charged. Very unacceptable behavior and a key reason why customers might mistrust a mechanic.Whats more, when I commented on this fact, the mechanic defended that he was only charging me for half an hour and that he had in fact spent much more than half an hour on my car. I agree that this repair took quite a while, but I also noticed that the actual work on my car took very little time. The remainder of the time my car was in the back, I regularly noticed the mechanics milling around or having what I think were smoke breaks. At one point I noticed that two mechanics chatting for more than 5 minutes in a very leisurely way.Moreover, my entire visit, which included 1 oil change and the application of some grease to my gear shifter, took about an hour and 45 minutes. There were three mechanics in the building and only one other vehicle being worked on besides mine. This really shouldnt have taken this amount of time.Overall, I will not be returning to this repair shop. I sincerely distrust any mechanic who charges me or performs work on my car without explicit instructions from me to do so. If this happened everywhere, wed all be subject to bills we never intended to accrue.Friends, avoid this place!

I brought my wife’s vehicle into KarGuard to have the oil changed and brakes inspected. I had been to a competitor who I had been going to for years and they gave me a grocery list of $1800.00 for repairs, mainly brakes. KarGuard changed the oil found only about 25% of the repairs needed that the other shop did, even took me out to the vehicle showed me the bad/before and then the repairs. They were friendly, honest, fair priced and most of all I felt no pressure and was very comfortable knowing these were the professionals taking care of my family’s vehicles from now on.

They (supposedly) aligned the 4 wheels on our car. 3 1/2 months later we are having to replace the front left tire due to the poor workmanship as the front end is badly out of alignment. My wife only uses the car locally. Stay away from these people.
