I have tried to get help with upgrading my device at this store twice in the last 2 weeks and both times I walked into the store, no employee acknowledged my existence. I waited patiently to speak with someone and asked if there was a queue to get help and he said no just wait and someone will be with you. I waited fifteen minutes and nothing so I left. If you are busy helping customers you should at least acknowledge new guests and let them know upon their arrival that you will be able to help them shortly or tell them where to wait. The second time I tried getting help at this store there were also 3 other people waiting who all hadnt been acknowledged by any store team member. Instead of purchasing my phone in store I did it on the Verizon website, which was also headache-inducing. Thoroughly unimpressed with the customer service at this location.

I was given some buck nasty deals by these compadres. Sometimes they just have the craziest sales. Ive never seen anything like it. I think theres a reason that there are so many Cellular Sales around. Also, I was able to get devices that were better for me than I had been looking at thanks to the thoughtful considerations of the staff. The accessories are also quality, from American companies. Very satisfied, overall.

Unbelievable service, went in there looking to upgrade 4 new phones (2 iPhone, 2 Samsung) and was in and out. The associate Shane took care of my family from start to finish, answered every single question regardless of how silly and got us set up in less than half the time we were anticipating. Been a Verizon Customer for almost 2 decades and will only go to this location for all of our in-person Verizon needs.

Deception was the overall feeling of my sales experience at Cellular Sales in Medford. Prior to writing this review, I conveyed my concerns to sales staff and management, and no solution was offered to offset my negative experience. Issues I encountered while agreeing to upgrade from metered data plan to Start Unlimited and from iPhone 7 to new iPhone 12:1) The only reason I agreed to upgrade my plans is because the monthly bill quote I received from 2 different sales people was nearly the same as my current bill. Both sales people confirmed that I could receive my employer discount as a physician -- after the sale, Verizon told me this was not true. My bill is now $26 more per month than what I was quoted.2) Pricing of services and products was very opaque. Cost of transferring data from my old phone to new phone was revealed to me only after I had completed the transfer of data. Prices of phone covers and screen protectors were not transparent until I had to ask explicitly. It felt very sneaky.3) Cellular Sales is not actually a Verizon store, despite having Verizon signs posted all over the store. Again, deceptive, as it turns out the CS sales team was not up to date on eligible discounts for me. I also felt pressured to sign a 3-5 page customer agreement on a tiny digital screen with a sales person staring me down to complete the purchase.I gave the manager time to resolve this issue by issuing some type of credit to offset the monthly bill discount that I was not awarded in the end, and they could not offer anything constructive. Unfortunately, this was one of those sales experiences that with every person I encountered, it felt slimy and not trustworthy. I hope to never feel like this again in a sales experience.

Bad service. Very rude. I came here to open a new account, and the guy was already helping two ladies. He was taking his time with all the small-talk, flirting with them, which is all fine to be honest. But after waiting for about 15 minutes, I just walked up to ask if theres a way to setup an appointment. He either took it the wrong way or maybe he was just wanted to act tough, I dont know, but started giving me attitude saying that I can just wait or leave. So I left. It was really weird.Just wanted to open a new account, and wanted to know if theres a way to setup an appointment. Geez...

This particular store is scamming people by charging the $35 set up fee on prepaid and $45 on postpaid without making them aware of it. just for doing their job. I KNOW IT’S NOT A LOT BUT I CAME TO BUY 32 SIMS FOR MY BUSINESS.After working 2 years for Verizon, I had never done or told that.I spoke to Jen Garside who they told me was the district manager which I do not believe based on her actions. She told me that they can only sell phones in this store but for services, I will have to call customer service or go to a corporate store.

The Verizon store at Medford gives excellent customer service. Lee helped my husband and I transition from Androids to I phones . He was patient, kind and courteous . He transferred all Our contacts,pictures and data and helped set up home screens. Having been in customer service for 45 years I can tell you this is where to go when you want to find excellence.

If you want to be blatantly lied to and deceived go to this store. I wish Id read the reviews before going to this store. They told us they would do things and never did. Im at an actual Verizon store trying to clean up the mess they made. Absolutely awful. You should be ashamed of yourselves to live without integrity. I expect an apology. I would highly recommend avoiding this store that is operated by Cellular Sales. The employee I had the misfortune of dealing with seemed to be clueless as to how to change plans, add lines to a plan, access the best deals for his customer and correctly review fees for service that he was charging me. Im not sure if it was his lack of understanding or if the company has a poor training program for their employees. This company is an authorized retailer of Verizon, NOT a Verizon store. They will charge you additional fees on top of fees that Verizon will charge you. You can avoid this by simply going to a true Verizon store. Or better yet, do it online and save yourself even more money and time. I wasted three trips to the store and five hours of my time to get charged a $45 Device Setup fee from the store (which means they take the phone out of the box and turn it on, you actually have to enter your information to transfer data from your old phone) and a worse monthly payment deal than what was offered online. It just goes to show that I should have done better research instead of trusting this company and their inept salesman.

I would avoid this store. The store appears to be a Verizon (ie corporate) store but is in fact not. It is essentially the same as those random wireless stores you see everywhere but it is made to look exactly like a Verizon store. This makes a big difference because their staff, as opposed to Verizon employees, are completely paid on the basis of commission. As such, I was given a hard sell by one of their sales people and ended up switching out of a grandfathered plan that, according to a Verizon agent on the phone, was a huge mistake. While it is on me to not double and triple check the plan information before I switched, the agent was clearly in retrospect being disingenuous.

My experience with this Verizon wireless has been very poor. The staff wasn’t transparent, is deceitful, and not helpful at all. They have charged me numerous fee’s and didn’t tell me that buying a watch from them means they sign me up for cellular service for a watch that is always connected to my phone. I have been haggled with them for weeks and it went nowhere. I wasn’t refunded any fee’s, I paid more for a watch with cell service capability that I didn’t need, still have cellular service, and haven’t gotten my old watch back. Also the sales rep has been continuously lying to me and has been difficult to get a hold of. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Kevin was very helpful. He was pleasant, patient and very knowledgeable both the day I purchased the phone and the next when I had some questions. I did purchase a new phone but at no time felt pressured. I believe Kevin is a valuable asset to Verizon and tries to balance His loyalities to Verizon and Verizon customers. Which makes for happy customers.

This store is so convenient (in the parking lot near Wegmans & Kohls), and the salesperson Shane did everything he could to make it easy for me to switch over to Verizon. My boyfriend & I really appreciated all the time he spent with us to explain everything and help us through the process. We felt like we were in good hands!

I was greeted by gentlemen not wearing a mask and he walked to his desk at the back of store to put it on. Only half the agents were wearing masks and they actually had another agent sleeping on his desk. This store is ridiculous, I wish I had just walked out. How does Verizon allow this to happen in their stores? I will also be reporting them.

Very pleasant, smooth and quick experience here. They have only been open for a few days and I was anticipating a few hiccups but Lee and Kyle were very easy to work with and the entire process start to finish was very seamless. Would recommend them and go back with any cellular needs.

Avoid this shop at all costs. They are NOT a Verizon Company Store. They are authorised to resell, yes. I needed a new SIM card for an iPhone and was charged $35 to replace it. A real Verizon Company Store would have performed the service free of charge. You were warned.

Hi my name is Carol Spencer. I recently purchased a moto Z4 and April hefeweizen wireless store in Medford Nick was the salespersonand he was most helpful and patient with me especially transferring all my phone numbers which couldnt seem to be done automatic cuz there was no no room left in the phone. Today went back to the store help me use some of the apps on my phone. John the customer service person is most helpful and patient. During this pandemic Ive been privileged to attend recovery meetings at AA - Al-Anon. I attend several conference calls per wk which is a blessing for us and also some calls on zoom which are great . John help me with that also. Im most appreciative it will recommend for Verizon wireless to other people which I already have.

Had the best experience shopping for a phone that I have ever had! I wasnt looking forward to having to get a new phone because usually the sales people just want to sell me the most expensive thing and send me on my way. My sales person, Yusuf, asked me questions about what I used my phone for most and what features were most important to me and he LISTENED to my answers! He presented me with a few options in different price ranges and really helped me make a decision based on MY needs. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and very personable sales rep go see Yusuf. He was awesome!

This place opened up on Monday! It is nice to know there is a Verizon Store in Medford Ma! Its brand new! Sales agents below were very helpful and patient!. People here dont know what deals your account are actually eligible for. Got sold on a couple deals that never ended up going thought and had to pay full price for the phones. Plus this location is an authorized dealer, not Verizon owned and will charge you a $45 setup fee on top of the Verizon $40 activation fee per line.
