I went in the store with the situation, explained the situation to Edgar. He was super knowledgeable and friendly! As it was very close to closing time he said can I look at this in the morning and I will call you? And I said sure. The next day before noon I received a phone call from Edgar with a resolution to the problem. If you ever need help go see Edgar hes amazing supernice. Thank you Edgar

Been a customer of Verizon for a very long time. Went in to talk about the FREE 5G phone. It was more or less a bait and switch. There is no FREE 5G phone. They would give me credit for my old phone towards the price of the FREE 5G phone. All I have to do is increase my plan and have a higher monthly payment. YMMV.

I cannot emphasize how underhanded and slimy this company is. I have been a Verizon customer for (about) 15 years. I purchased a new phone a year ago, and have been paying monthly for Total Mobile Protection. When the phone inevitably broke, I came into the store to get it fixed. The representative informed me that Verizon would not be fixing the phone, even though it was covered under the insurance I was paying, and the payment had cleared. I returned to the store multiple times to try and get it fixed, even referring to my bill, which proved I had paid for the insurance, and should be eligible for repairs. The representative spoke to the manager and informed me they wouldnt fix the phone, and that there was nothing [they] could do about it. I then said, So, youre not going to honor our agreement in anyway? to which they replied, No.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VERIZON. You will find they will seek any excuse to take your money, and not provide compensation. You have been warned.

During the pandemic my phone, out of the blue would not allow me to make or receive phone calls or texts. The Apple store was closed and so going to Verizon was the only option that I knew about. I had come the day before and an associate gave me some things to try on my own, and if they didnt work, he told me to come back. When it didnt work, I came back the next day. At this point I hadnt had my phone in five days, and I was desperate for help. I waited in my car as directed by the signs, and watched two associates chatting with each other inside the store for a good five minutes. Someone finally came out, and looked very annoyed that I was there. She kept her social distance, which was fine, but didnt make any effort to look at my phone, or listen to what I was saying. She was only interested in helping me upgrade my phone. I knew they had the means to help me because of what the associate told me the day before. I wasnt heard or respected. In the end I left without any hope and feeling worse than when I arrived.

Awful customer service. I have a few electronic GC I had to use and was going to do some purchases before applying the rest to my bill. First I got told not to touch anything. Second I got the eye roll like I was an inconvenience to him. I understand we all have bad days but if today wasnt the day for him to be at work maybe a personal day off should have been taken.

Covid experience: I made my appointment online, as always the staff were happy to see me and help. I had just bought an unlocked phone and wanted to ensure everything ported fine in the account because online ran me in circles and customer support took longer to get a hold of then it took to make an appointment and get in. They maintained limited access to the facility by having a greeter out front to keep customers in a queue and comfortably waiting in their vehicles. My appointment time was honored even though there was a line. Everyone wore masks and I was able to complete the business in just a few minutes.

I bought an iPhone X a few months ago from the Layton store. Have very good service… Can’t remember the young ladies name but I know she was Hispanic and short. Very professional. During the pandemic I decided to listen to several books on tape and I took out my other headphones from the previous phone and proceeded to plug them in. I could not find a port. I went online and googled headphones for iPhone X. To my surprise it is a special adapter that should be in my box.I went and found my box I had never even really opened it up since I got the phone. Inside and I wish I could put a picture was two white slots… One for the plug-in and the other for the charging cable. I did not see an adapter that was also a little thing to hook on the side of the phone I think for carrying ease. I went to the Verizon store today and later I’ve been a customer for more than 20 years with the same phone number I’ve never ventured away from Verizon.I can’t tell you how many phones I’ve had with Verizon in addition to that my husband my daughter and my son. I went to the store today a young man named Edgar came out to my car. I explained to him and showed him the box and there wasn’t anything inside that look like an adapter. He told me I could buy one. There should’ve been one inside. I am very disappointed because I’ve been a loyal Verizon customer for five people in my family for at least the past 10 to 20 years. In my opinion as a professional I would’ve gone inside and spoke to my manager and explain the situation… Maybe look up the ladies account… And compher the $10 adapter. It was quite obvious that the adapter was not in the box everything else was in there I’ve never even touched it.I am very very disappointed in my interaction with Verizon today.As a professional in the community and my husband being a professional in the community I am just appalled at that type of lack of service. What is a $10 adapter to Verizon? I only have one iPhone X on my account so I wasn’t taking a second adapter for some other reason. If I had known that that phone requires an adapter I probably would either want not purchase it or to at least to look to see if the adapter was in the box. I’m a little disappointed in myself because I didn’t go through the box to make sure everything was there… I’ve never done that before - all my iPhone chargers are pretty adaptable to the other phones.So as a warning to all… If you buy any iPhone please make sure you go through the box and check to make sure everything is there… Because Verizon in Layton as much money as they’ve made from me over these last decades… Does not Appear to train their people or their management to take care of their loyal customers. I wander if that was done on purpose to take the adapter out then when a customer comes back they have to spend $10-$12 on a new one? I’m not a conspiracy theorist but I can’t imagine any other reason why an adapter would not be in my box. Has anybody else noticed that they didn’t have the headphone adapter on iPhone X?

We started out here several weeks ago just looking at options to switch. The manager, Clint, helped us out and was amazing. When we went back after deciding this was the direction we wanted to go, we worked with Sara. Sara has been INCREDIBLE through the process. We’re not the easiest customers (our previous carrier has left us with a lot of trust issues when dealing with mobile providers) and Sara was so patient and helpful with our endless questions, countless store visits at the end of her shift and she made sure we got the best deal available.

Poor at best. We waited 40 minutes patiently to upgrade both of our phones. I left to get a snack for my daughter in the car and they said since it was 8:00 on the dot. They could not let me into the store, even tho my wife was still in the store waiting to be helped. Said it was store policy. Very poor overall. Not a good look for Verizon. Sad experience with sales rep. who could of sold us some awesome accessories and didnt even want to try even though we were interested! Somebody just needed a job for a paycheck I guess. We came home and ordered online with Amazon and got a better deal and got twice as much for the money. Sad day for Verizon! Better luck next time?

As someone who has worked in the sales industry for quite sometime now, there is nothing that makes me cringe more than sales associates lying to make a commission. If you are looking to buy an IPhone I recommend going straight to Apple. The sales associate at this store lied to me stating that their Verizon Apple insurance was better than Apples to make me switch over, stating that there were no deductibles and even went as far as saying if I lost my phone they would replace it for free, when it reality the insurance Verizon offers is just a water down Apple care + with more hidden deductibles. I should have stayed with T Mobile and I’m going back to my Apple Care plan as soon as possible. Avoid this store.

If i could rate a 0. This has to do with Verizon itself, not the individuals in the store. I have had Verizon for a month, and they just shut me off after sending me one measly text informing me they were shutting me off. I never once received a bill, nor did I opt into paperless billing. And now trying to talk to anyone and figure out what the hell is going on is impossible. I apparently need a pin that I never once was told about or had set up. Ive spoken to 3 seperate reps And no one can seem to help me with any of these problems Ive had. Just another place that passes you along to the next rep, just to get passed on again. I would not recommend Verizon to anybody. Very disappointed in the service and the customer care. Ive never been ran around in circles as much as I have trying to deal with Verizon. And now Im in debt with this ridiculousness and they cant even help me figure out how to pay it

Know what you want before you go in and get a good salesperson. Do your research and then come to the store ready to purchase. Been with Verizon for 5 years and the only negative weve experienced was the manager. She was all about selling accessories. The salespeople Ive dealt with have been good and pleasant. Went in yesterday to just browse at phones. Ended up upgrading my wifes phone. Did not have her old phone with us and asked the representative helping us how long we would have to wait if we came back to transfer contacts. Was informed to tell the greeter thats all we needed and it should only be about a five minute wait.Went in today around 6:05 p.m. Only 2-3 people in the store waiting to be helped. Was greeted within five minutes. We told the greeter all we needed to do was transfer contacts. At 6:40 p.m. we were finally helped by a representative. They seemed more interested in playing with Pandora on their tablet then helping us. They spent some time playing with the phone using backup assistant instead of plugging it into a machine like they used to.Another representative had to sacrifice time helping his customer in order to help guide our representative through the processes of transferring the contacts via bluetooth.Had the representative we talked with yesterday informed us that this was even possible we could have saved a trip and an hour of our time.The representatives that helped us were focused on selling products instead of understanding the products they were selling.

I wish I could give 0 stars. If you want good service, head up to the Riverdale location!The kid we worked with was awful and disrespectful. My mother and I went in to upgrade our devices. She is 70 and pretty good with technology, but she had a lot of questions. He was no help. Finally when she picked a phone, they were setting it up, and he was clicking around and trying to explain what he was doing, but he was going too fast. She kindly asked him to please slow down and explain. He then sarcastically started talking in a slow deep drawn out monotone way that was basically mocking my mother. - not helping her understand.If I was a manager and saw an employee talking to any customer this way, I’d fire him immediately. There is absolutely no reason. It is your job to help your customers get set up with a new device. If they need you to go slower, it doesn’t mean you talk to them like a cartoon character in slow motion.I will never return to this store.

Didnt actually get a phone that day but stopped by to look at the new line. The Associates were very helpful, friendly, and actually funny. You REALLY do need someone with a sense of humor there with you, when you are looking at a phone that is going to cost you over $1000 but be obsolete and getting the slowdown updates in a year anyway when the newer version rolls out. HeyOh! I just heard the Malcolm in the Middle music in my head... Life is Unfair. LmaoIm just going to wait for Xmas deals (fingers crossed) then go back to these guys because they legit know every little detail about each phone and the slightest differences between them explaining price variations. I can’t believe they call themselves professionals. All they try and do is sell me stuff like a worthless HUM product which is faulty at best, my bill is so messed up I’ve tried to get help from the manager Clint but he is non-responsive. I have never met more of a robot in my life! I have called in to talk with him 6 times and he won’t call me back. Once I finally got a hold of him he said he wasn’t allowed to help me and to call customer service, now I get 20 calls a day from customer service since they say I am past due on a phone I returned.

Verizon is the worst cell carrier. Ive been with them for about 7 years. I used to brag that theyre the best. But now they only care about their high paying customers with the unlimited plan. My cell data almost didnt work to the point where I couldnt even send pictures over text. Super frustrating. Verizon cant even support what they claim their infrastructure can do.

What a TERRIBLE experience! My husband and I went into Verizon to buy a new phone for me but the sales rep told us we had come in on a huge sale day and if we switched my husband over from sprint we would be able to get a free brand new phone. So we signed up. Their sales rep told us it would take 3 to 4 months to see a discount applied. After 6 months of no discount I called in. I was passed around for a solid 3 hours with their customer service reps before someone finally took my case and told me it would be two weeks before he would contact me. After three weeks I just called the store directly and spoke to their manager Dax. Dax pulled up my case and told me I didn’t qualify for their deal because we hadn’t bought two apples or two androids. While it was true we had bought one of each the sales rep never told us we didn’t qualify or else we never would have switched my husband over from sprint!He said he would talk to his boss and get back to us in a few days. The next day he called me back and said “sorry, there is nothing we can do for you. The sales rep says he never told you you qualified for the deal! And it’s your word vs. his.” When I asked if I could speak to his boss he said “I can leave a note for you but I doubt he will call. He has no reason to talk to you, he has already made his decision”. They totally lied to us multiple times! And that my friends is how Verizon screwed us out of $1,000.DO NOT go with them!! Absolutely TERRIBLE service!!! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

While out of town, I managed to lock myself out of my phone. Not only was I stressed since I was away from home, but I was also on crutches from recent knee surgery. I was assisted by Kole who went above and beyond. He was patient with me, efficient in fixing my phone, and overall just a true gentleman, helping me with the door and making sure I had a comfortable place to sit. Visited the store and had a reasonable rep who helped me with a phone transfer. I inquired on some accessories and I would if purchased some but he talked me out of business. To bad Tyler, I think was the name. You might it on some sells commission for accessories! Every item adds up fast. Dont ever try and take the easy way out or your customers will also. You made it really easy to browse and not purchase and had you put much effort into my questions and inquires, youd have made a little but more from your job that day. Better luck next time. I have purchased several phones from this location over the past few years. I have also had to receive service a few times for phones that had issues. I get mildly annoyed with some of their attempts at up-selling me to things I dont need/want. It isnt that big of a deal, but I feel like most of the time, I know more about their products than they do. I spend a ton of time reading up on electronics before I ever go into a store to purchase them. Im mostly looking for them to know pricing and specials that are available for products that I already know I want to buy. I think they could use a bit more training and communication on those things. That is why I knocked them down to 3 stars. Other than that, no other complaints.

I went in today and got an iPhone 8+ with some accessories. The girl helping me was honestly awful. She was on her phone the entire time, she told another employee that she just bought a jacket - while she was helping me. She seemed like she just wanted a sale and to get me out the door. She set my phone up so it was working when I left but failed to mention that Id have to do a factory reset if I wanted to transfer anything from my old device. She could have spent a little extra time helping me transfer my stuff instead of buying clothes and snapchatting on her phone. Now Im stuck with a phone that wont complete the transfer and I doubt Id get much help going back to this store.

After spending countless days at the store and waiting over 4 to 5 different times with customer service representatives leaving for over half an hour at a time, we still ended up with a lemon of the phone and then were nickel and dimed in trying to return it. Our brand-new phone kept dropping calls over and over and over, they sent my new phone to the wrong address, we lost the money we paid for the tempered glass screen, but worst of all they still would not refund us the $35 restocking fee that they stated they have to charge us!!! I filed a complaint with Verizon Corporate to which they will be investigating this store for all of the complaints!!! Only Verizon Corporate was willing to try and resolve any issues I have had. They have applied credits to my account for having to deal with such idiots at this store and try to repair the damage done by Adam Mower and his staff!!STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!!
