I had the best experience at this store! AMANDA was simply wonderful to me because I am on a very fixed budget and she was just so helpful to me with an upgrade. Besides, she is so knowledgeable and so great at multitasking I was just amazed! She completely set up my phone for me as I am sure she realized I was not very knowledgeable when it came to dealing with a new phone. We ported 5 lines over from T-Mobile. We were on a bit of a tight budget budget so we got the free phones. But we were able to get a case for each phone and screen protectors that they put on for us at an unbeatable price! Before we got started they asked us if we knew anyone who had cricket and when we told them we did they helped us get a refer friend code so that we both got $25 bill credits. They also helped us transfer all the information from our TMobile phones to our new cricket phones. This whole process took a little while about an hour or so but they were very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They made sure we were aware of all our options and that we were comfortable with everything we did and our new phones. I usually dont do these things but they told us we might get a survey to fill out but we never did so I thought this was the next best thing. Also I have never had another cell phone company call and check to make sure I was enjoying my service AFTER I had signed up! I will recommend if you are thinking of switching go to this store!

Boy, what a deal! Don’t you believe it! I needed a phone for a new job, so I went to see Amanda at Layton cricket. Figured they might be my “go to“ people for phones for me and my family. I got one line through cricket, my work line, cruising along paying $62 a month for a full service account. No problems. Then I went to my local Layton branch of cricket, Purchased a $200 telephone, and added My Son onto my account. They have a deal, two lines for $80. When I went to pay my bill it was $117. When I went to the store today, the young man at the counter could not tell me why my Bill was $37 per month higher than quoted. It is now $117 per month!I do residential new construction, and if one of my suppliers quoted me a price, and then tacked on 33% without me knowing about it, I would consider that fraud, and I would not do business with them ever again. I would not have minded if it were a few extra dollars for the additional fees and taxes, but $37 is way more than that. If it were 90 or $95 I would’ve understood. I will be seeking new phone services, for me and my family. I have nine children and several of them have accounts with cricket for now. I refuse to be taken advantage of! Good luck with that type of customer service cricket!

I was getting no service on my iphone 7 so I replaced the sim card like they suggested, didnt work for more than 15 minutes. I asked for a phone they offered, was told it was out of stock. They then sold me another.I then tried in the parking lot for 5 minutes. It did not work as advertised and could not use the features it offered. I walked back in and asked for a refund they said said ok but we keep 25 dollars. I said why cant I have the full refund I only had it a few minutes? They said sorry thats policy.I have been patient long enough.Cricket has not provided me with cell service that I have paid for since april. what cell reception I do receive is poor and limited to a few minutes at a time. I have been a customer since 2010. I work as a nurse and functional communication is essential to my job there are times when I am needed and when I dont get my messages for several days becauses of carrier issues I cannot give care where I am needed.I care for those some of the most vulnerable populations in utah as well as my niece who is on hospice.Since they could not offer me a good phone they offered me a bad one and then wouldnt return a bad product nor can they provide me with any current cell service, or any successful resolutions. I WILL NEVER BE BACK. As soon as I have time to meet with the others 3 members on my plan I will take them with me and do business with another company.I will also never recommend you to anyone. Even when I did receive cell service it was poor always quality sound and always cutting out during phone calls.

At first everything was fine. I went in to upgrade my phone and service. The salesman seemed knowledgeable and helpful. He talked me into a phone I had to pay for which was fine. I enjoyed the phone (The brand new Moto E) for a week then I started having trouble with my power button and volume control. I went back to the same store, same guy. He gave me a phone number to call for the warranty. I called and they wanted to hold $110 on my credit card before they would send me the phone. They told me the best way was to go back to the store and exchange it. So, I went back to store. The same salesman was there. I told him what Motorola said about exchanging the phone. and he said there was nothing he could do because it was after 7 days. He refused to help me in anyway. Needless to say I am not returning to that store ever again. It is a franchise store so they can not do anything for you. Your better off going to a corporate store, at least they try to help you.

The people there are always nice and do their best to help with any problem. We have gone multiple times, as we have 5 people on our plan. The staff puts the customers first and see eye-to-eye. They are amazing!

I love when customer service wins over technology and corporate greed: I asked for help with my SIM card adapter, the girl in there not only used her skills to get the adapter out without breaking my phone which the phone manufacturers designed them for, she was also able to fix my whole situation without forcing me to buy something that USED TO last, but the NEW IMPROVED product is now downgraded to the PREVIOUS quality, so everything will break again like it used to, often destroying our phones in the process. Poor company decisions and the bad products that result from them, will not always corrupt the sales and service associates... and for this, yall get 5 stars as promised

Id advise against using Cricket for your wireless service. If you do choose it, dont use this store. Poorly staffed, the employees are both rude and incompetent, and management is happy to take your money without providing the agreed upon service.My wife and I went to the store to port our numbers from T-Mobile and Verizon and the guy behind the counter ported the wrong numbers. Management didnt want to take responsibility and corporate was equally useless. I was lied to by both the franchise and corporate, neither wanted to help and clearly were more interested in a one-time erroneous payment than legitimate recurring ones.Bad business practices abound. Proceed at your own risk.

These guys are thief. Went in there to upgrade to iPhone and they charged $25 for upgrade fees which I am told includes cost for a new sim card and they charged another $10 for a Sim Card. I dont mind paying the correct cost but been taken advantage off as a long time Cricket customer makes me wanna switch . Please avoid this place

A very nice and friendly staff at this shop which makes up for several mistakes theyve made...for example) 1.) Cricket tries to hide the $25 activation fee until being rung up. They dont speak of it nor is it posted clearly on advertisements. 2.) The Cricket Wireless official site states that this store is open Sunday, but this is not true. They r closed Sunday, in fact I wasted several hours a couple Sundays ago. Damn this website haha.

Very frustrated with this store. I bought a phone and the next day it starts spazzing out every time I open it, calling people, typing numbers without me touching the screen etc. I couldnt even open it to make a call or text because it would do its own thing... When i bought the phone I bought a liquid glass screen protector as well that was $40. Well, I took the phone back to them today and they replaced it but wouldnt refund or replace the $40 I spent on the screen protector even though i just got the phone. I thought they could at least give me what I paid for.

There is only moderate service in Layton and surrounding places. But we pay full price for 1/2 serviceReduced to 1 start. Horriable service anywhere in local area. Very bad customer service. Their phone I got, a ZTE max, burned my childs face while talking to family on the phone. We had it about 2 months. Never could get any help with that.
