The girls running the counter were very knowledgeable. Knew exactly what I was talking about and what I was looking for. They dont really carry much in terms of used hardware in store anymore it seems, but they had a new Carbon Black wireless Xbox controller for a better deal than the rest of the big stores

Love this gamestop! Super friendly and supportive employees! Bob and his employees extremely helpful, will go out of their way to make sure you’re taken care. Bob in particular is awesome, and routinely takes his time and cares for my autistic brother when he comes in. Cannot recommend this gamestop more.

Wish Gamestop had more selection but the service is always nice and professional. Sometimes its nice to just talk gaming with the store salesmen instead of buying all online. Just wish there was more reason to go in these days.

So, I was told by an employee that I could download and play pokemon red and blue on the Nintendo switch lite. So, I went ahead and bought myself one only to find out that I was lied to. I had already opened the console, but since I was mislead, I decided to see if I could still return it. I called them and told the employee over the phone the situation hoping that theyd be understanding and even helpful, unfortunately, I was told that I couldnt return it, but instead, trade it in for less than half the price I bought it for. I wouldnt be so upset about not being able to get my money back if one of their employees didnt lie to me just so Id buy a system.

The person who helped me was so knowledgeable about Switch games and other fun gift ideas for my child! They had tons of fun games and other Mario toys etc in stock, which was exactly what I was looking for!

An in credibly rude employee tried to upsale my spouse, constantly pressuring them, and making the whole experience miserable. Ruined my spouses whole day.

Sat in line and held people up for 30 minutes to trade in a console and couldn’t trade in because they were having internet issues and couldn’t test the wifi on the console. Everything worked fine but because of their issue they wasted my time and everyone else’s in line

My 8 year old son has been saving his money and was so excited to go purchase a game for his switch. When we walked in, the man asked very rudely if we had masks. I put one on and explained my kids have exemptions and they would not be wearing one. He very rudely said that anyone over 3 had to wear one. So I told him we would take our business elsewhere. Which we did. Im not sure when it became ok to refuse service to someone based on a mask exemption, but we will not be spending our money at Gamestop ever again.

I walked in to browse and the employee told me I had to wear a mask. I told him Ive been vaccinated and he told me the CDC is requiring all indoors to wear a mask which they cant mandate that so it makes no sense.He offered me a mask to wear but what is the point if youre vaccinated. This store has become part of the very far left So buyers beware

Every time Ive visited this store Ive had unprofessional service from the manager. Nonstop sales pressure for preorders and games that I dont want. Its constantly been an unpleasant and disrespectful atmosphere when declining protection/coupons/dlc/preorders etc. I avoid this store, and the one in the Layton Hills Mall whenever possible.

I have never been treated so rudely by a retail worker in my life. I took a game that I had ordered online into the store to return it. The employee (I think he was the manager) was blatantly rude from the very start. I had gone online and requested a return, so GameStop sent me an email with the order number and said to show it to the worker and they’d return the game for me which is exactly what I did. The man told me that the email “meant nothing” to him and that I needed a receipt. I told him that the email was a return request and he snapped and told me that I needed a receipt or order number. I again pointed to the order number that was right in plain sight.He then proceeded to question me as to why it took me so long to bring the game back EVEN though I was still bringing it back within the 30 day time frame. Long story short, he was snappy, hostile and smelled horribly. I don’t know how this location is still open.

Been waiting on a pre order thats release date was in Feburary 14 an still they say they dont have it an are very rude about it over the phone when I call an check on my preorder thats over a month late

Very pushy on buying unnecessary things especially for pro members. Like I get the up selling tactic but everytime I go in like seriously, especially for collectors. After I went in to spend the free five dollars was conned into pre ordering a product that apparently keeps changing the pre-order date daily as well as a another package I had ordered from them. I dont know if its this store in general but definitely not re signing up for next year sucks that funko has to give all the cool pops to these guys have to go through a private seller or try out another game stop.

The manager here is so pushy! After declining a warranty several times he tried making feel guilty for not buying one. This has happened many times at this location. I think it’s time to drive a little further to another store.

Very on organized. Manager wasn’t helping at all with the people at the front desk. A simple purchase took me over 20 minutes. Awls I could do is talk to me about upsell ‘s. I would seriously go to another game stop. I can’t imagine why thisLocation is still open

Is this store ever opened? Past 3 times I have come here around 5pm there was a sign on the door stating the store was, Closed for Lunch. Returning in 30-45 Minutes. Problem is, I have no idea when, lunch started so I am not sure when youll be back. BTW, as I was sitting here and writing this over the last 2 minutes 4 different groups of people tried to come into the store to shop...

Staff is great. I feel like they are a good team, however the policies they have in place prevent them from creating a relaxed environment for shopping. This is their corporates fault not their own.

Horrible service,very slow, waited for 20 minutes and broght a controller from the shelf and they said they did not have it in stock.. they said it was for display but every game is not?? How is the customer supposed to know thats a display? Its on a hook just like every other item... Very dissapointing.

I had a quick in and out purchase here for a used Xbox and was helped by Ian. He was very good to work with and advised me on what would be the best for my budget and was really friendly through out the whole process. Really great customer service at this location and one happy customer.Update 5/15 when in again for a quick purchase and still great customer service and will help you find exactly what you need even if you yourself arent to sure.

I really enjoyed going here last year when they were doing the Shadow of the Colossus release. I went for my husband because he really wanted the game, and I had no idea what I was doing and they were super friendly and helped me out. They also called me the day before and reminded me about it which was super cool because I forget stuff all the time. We also bought a PS4 controller from there and it wasnt working and I called them and then realized it wasnt working because we hadnt connected it. My bad.

There is a staff member I think her name is Shelby and she is always so nice. Everyone else is decently friendly and are always making sure youre happy as a costumer. Preorders here (for those who like hard copies of games) are simple and efficient getting you your game and on your way to play.

Probably one of the best GameStops Ive ever dealt with. Everyone has been very helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely worth a shot, if you gotta go to a GameStop.

Great face to face customer service and the shop went above and beyond to help us call around and secure a specific game they were out of. We were able to swing by the other location and check out immediately with what we were looking for.

Very friendly staff, well educated bunch in all things games. Clean and organized store. Parking lot is packed with other customers, but this provide great security for all customers. Highly recommend.

Let me start of by saying the manager at this game stop is absolutely horrible his customer service is non existent I went in to trade some games in and all he did was belittle me about not pre ordering the game then he puts the remaining balance on a gift card and low and behold there is no money on the gift card now i am not saying he stole it but i would think a manager should know how to preform that tast i will not be returning ever and i will inform my friends to also not return get a grip gamestop that guy is not good for business

This location is the BEST! We had an issue with another location closer to us & these guys fixed it, we only go to this location now.

This is my favorite gamestop in the area. They have the best staff and its very well put together. The store is always friendly and inviting. Grayson, Ian, and Dan always take care of me. And theyre just really cool dudes to have a conversation with. Get your games here because these guys really do have your best interests in mind.

Pre owned stuff has never failed me (from here) it is always in working order and a good price. Theyve got good deals, plenty of gear, a good return policy, friendly employees that dont make you feel stupid if you dont know every video game thats ever existed. However I will say it is the kind of store where you will get asked can I help you find anything if you stand in any one position for more than 5 seconds.

I placed an item on hold via phone confirmed the price 3 times. When I showed up they had held the wrong item and it was twice the price. Other shopping went well but I was disappointed in having traveled 100 miles for nothing.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, always willing to help and generally seen to love what they are doing!

The Layton GameStop Prestige is definitely one of my favorite GameStops. Ive visited a lot of GameStops, & the service here definitely exceeds others!

Clean, the employee was very nice but only mediocre when it came to being helpful selecting a game title. And the store in general lacked the selection. One would expect. Overall I was happy with the visit will likely be returning soon

A genuinely great location, especially compared to the mall location. The staff is extremely friendly and work with great efficiency, the store is always clean, and for the most part, have what Im looking for. After all of my bad visits to the other location, this store has been my primary one because I know Im going to have a MUCH better experience here rather than at the other location.

When I decided to crawl out of my vault (get it?) I came here and bought a bunch of great games that I could play when I returned to my vault. So if a nuclear winter ever happens I will be the most prepared man on this planet.

For it being holiday season and super busy this store was really good and patient dealing with my trade in. The other stores were a little more flustered but the staff here were engaging and quick to respond to other customers questions without feeling like they were blowing others off in the process

These guys know their games and equipment!! If you have any questions in that category they will yake care of you, plus go above and beyond and answer questions you didnt even know you had yet. BEST PRICES AROUND!! I highly recommend GameStop to everyone!

The best local GameStop around. Shawn and his team are amazing when it comes to video game recommendations and general knowledge. They arent pushy at all and you can feel at ease to browse the store at your leisure.

Paying for a membership can get you the occasional good deal. As far as trades go dont waste your time, I had a $60 new release they offered $9. Their trade system is just way out of whack.

Absolutely the best GameStop location, it’s the only one I’ll go to. The manager (Don’t know his name but he’s bald) does a wonderful job with the store. The employees here aren’t as creepy looking as the mall location, so that’s a plus. They are the best when it comes to midnight releases and pre orders. I was at the midnight release for Skyrim, and Halo 4 and they have a very smooth system for getting through everyone in line.

Store feels a little tight but they have a great assortment of games.

Super quick customer service and it connects well with the other GameStop buildings in the state.

Awesome staff super friendly and fun to talk to about games theyve played! Had something go wrong with a game I got the digital deluxe edition of and they helped get me the DLC I was missing and got me a perk for the inconvenience. Oh and in regards to the review about a midnight release not being at midnight that is because all games are released at 12am est. time not Mountain time!:)

Last time I went to a GameStop was a long time ago and I vowed never to buy games at GameStop again. I broke that vow a week ago when I walked in looking for a game. Not only did they have the game I was looking for, it was at a decent price and the employee didnt try to push any sales on me. I simply walked in grabbed what I wanted and left.

I had a situation today with a faulty product I had purchased. This situation should have been the responsibility of Nintendo to fix, but they wouldnt without the receipt. Even knowing full well that the issue was a known issue Nintendo still wouldnt fix it. So I go into Gamestop on Antelope Drive in hopes that they could help me dig up my receipt, and got the BEST customer service I have ever received. The manager took it upon himself to make the situation right even though it was not his fault. I will definitely be making this my Gamestop store and recommending it to EVERYONE! Thank you for NOT passing the buck!

Staff isnt very great, store is small and doesnt have a ton of variety as far as merch. Asked about a few games for switch and the cashier had no idea what I was talking about. Never really have a great experience here. Always end up waiting in line forever and if I ever try to call the store they never answer. :(
