I made a trailer hitch installation appointment here and it was a pleasant experience.Everyone in the store was professional and courteous, willing to answer everything question I had about towing and what equipment I would need. FEDEX had lost my trailer hitch but Derek and his team got me squared away in no time by getting the part overnighted and calling to give me updates.I highly recommend visiting this store for your needs.

The customer who had rented out the vehicle we wanted did not return it on time but the attendant was able to get us into another vehicle that suited our needs at the same price without a problem.

We have lived in Las Cruces, NM for 5 years. This used to be a great store....obviously under previous management. This new group is awful. I purchased a hitch and paid over $400. for it. Then set up installation. They finally set appointment, I went and sat there for 1 1/2 hours before I asked, and was then told they were missing a part they had to order. I went back for the 2nd time with appt again for the installation, and when I got there I encountered a retired woman screaming that she didnt want to wait for her appt time because she was very busy. She insisted on being put in at my time, and they were catering to her. I finally said forget it, and had to leave AGAIN with no installation. I went today for round THREE to get the installation, and it took them almost 5 hours to do this hitch installation. The employees treat the customers awful, and they are so ignorant about their jobs, its terrible. We used this same location a couple of years ago to get a hitch installation, rent trailers, buy supplies, etc. and the management was amazing and the employees so helpful.....I intend to let corporate know how terrible this store has become. We have even had to drive around tow dollies that were left out in the lot where you would normally drive....

I just recently rented a uhaul for 3 days. Everything was great until I returned. The next day I had extra charges and instead of deducting the overdraft they added it to my account.I am still waiting 8 days later to get my money back.

Was told storage accessible til 10 pm went and was not allowed in after 5pm ..ridiculous would not recommend.

Horrible customer service at this store. I had a similar experience as James. The lady who ran the shop before actually cared.

The people there were nice and friendly, nothing that happened was there fault, but I reserved a 26 foot truck 3 weeks ago and they called me 1 day before I moved across country to tell me they only had 15 foot truck available so we had to throw away a lot of furniture, they made my move so much more stressful wouldnt recommend uhaul for any move

Rented a van here to move a few items across town. I thought the customer service was excellent. I wish I could remember the name of the guy who had helped me out because I think he deserves recognition. Just extremely friendly, very informative, and prompt. Nobody likes moving, but their employee made this a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this location.

Terrible customer service, very dismissive and unhelpful. They said they called to tell me they wouldnt have a truck available for me but I NEVER received a phone call, text message, email, or any other type of communication.

Went to rent a u-haul and the man put it at 150 after we explained to them it was 75 miles to and from the destination which brought it up to 189 miles then there was problems with the u-haul and almost broke down on me still proceeded to charge me 197 dollars I do not recommend using there services.

They had everything I needed except my truck on moving day. The customer service lady in El Paso was worthless and rude. I had a short time frame to move and made my reservation weeks in advance and they left me hanging with no trucks within 350 miles. I will die before I ever use UHaul again. I used PENSKE a real profession company, not some riff raff BS like UHaul.

Made a reservation online for a 26 went to pick up and they didnt have it. Had to downsize to a 17. They said they sent a notice but, I received nothing stating they didnt have a 26 truck available.**I am updating this because I realized the notice they sent me was when one of the employees was literally calling me in the store while I was already being helped by another employee. I never received notice about the truck not being available.

Have rented trailers from them several times in the past, always a great experience. Today though, we got our propane tanks refilled. Great that they’re open on the weekends, when I feel A LOT of people will need their tanks filled. In and out quickly. Painless. Excellent prices and friendly staff. Will be coming here for all of our propane needs. Thank you for being open on the weekend for propane fills!!!

Called store before I went to appointment, specifically told that car would need ECU MOTION SENSOR, so that lift gate would function correctly when Hitch is installed they said they would call if any problems came up, I thought they knew what they were doing since they are professionals, but they didnt, motion lift gate does not work anymore, when I called Manager, he just chucked An jived me, left messages never responded, finally got a call after I call AGAIN and All I got was some more Chuck and jive, they should have known what to do theyre pros, will not recommend this store or ever set foot in it again, very disappointed brand new car and now it not functioning properly.👎👎👎👎👎

Amazing team! Extremely helpful. Had trouble with my trailer lights, John Leigh continued to work the problem until it was fixed. Very professional and friendly.Cant say enough positive things about Uhaul.Highly recommend this location!!! Thank you for all the help.

This is the first one star rating Ive ever given on Google reviews.My entire experience with this locations was horrible. My previous experiences with u-haul at other locations have been good. There are other locations in Las Cruces and I might try those or another competitor if I were you. If you want details read below.We scheduled months in advance for our move. We were suppose to bring our vehicle in a week early to get checked to make sure it was comparable with the trailer. When my wife called to set a time to come in they said not to worry about it that it would be fine. The day of the move I was supposed to pick up the trailer at 08:00. After paying we went out to hook it up to find I needed wiring installed in my vehicle. They canceled my order and said that I could pay them to install the wiring. I understand it was my bad for not knowing I needed wiring installed but they also were supposed to let us come in and check it beforehand. I didnt really have another option since we needed to move the next day. So they told me they could have it done by 2:30pm. I scheduled the installation and left the location. When I called to reschedule the trailer that had been cancelled, they wanted to charge me more for the rental since it was the day of. After getting transfered to another rep I got the same price I originally payed but it took about an hour of waiting on hold and being transfered to multiple.people. keep in mind I was supposed to be loading the trailer at this time. We had a group of people who were coming to help us load the trailer at noon so I asked if we could take the trailer with our neighbors truck so we could load it while we waited for the work on our vehicle. They said that was not an option, that we could only use the vehicle we planned to move with. So even after they messed up on multiple accounts and I came up with a reasonable solution they could not be accommodating. So we missed our chance to have people help us pack. It is now 3:30pm and they are not done with our vehicle. I will likely be loading the trailer myself untill late tonight/early tomorrow morning. Then Ill have to drive all day for two days just to make it in the time we have available to move. When I expressed frustration to one of the employees he said, well if you dont want us to put it on today we dont have too. As if to say, hey you will wait on us even though we messed up.

I rented a pickup for a quick move of furniture. I reserved online, and was able to pick the truck up and drop if off very quickly. Easy to work with.

I came to fill up the propane tank on my 24ft motorhome. The lot is very tight with many rental trucks parked. There is a bell at the propane tank to ring for service. I rang it twice and waited about 10 minutes before someone came. I had to turn my motorhome around as the tank was on the wrong side. This place was $1 more per gallon than Tractor Supply which has a nice huge parking lot.

Always use uhaul for the multiple moves i have done. Very professional staff! Great rates. My go to moving company.

Reserved a truck a month in advance and got a call the day before our move, and they stated that they didnt have the size we needed so we had to change sizes. Went in and one of the Uhaul employees set up the trailer towing our car all wrong. Had to make a 5 hour pitstop in the middle of nowhere on our trip to get that fixed by someone that actually knew what they were doing. The next day, the check engine light came on and I had to add engine oil to the truck since Uhaul hadnt done so before our 1,600 mile trip. Left a message for the store manager to call me 3 weeks ago and still havent heard from him. Never got reimbursed for the engine oil that I had to buy and put in either (after multiple phone calls).

I got a trailer from this place and I came in at closing time and the employee helped me even though he closed everything and helped me. Very satisfied with this u haul

Staff was friendly and helpful! It took me less than 5 minutes to check my trailer in.

Broke down on outskirts of town on a Saturday night. Called them to make sure they had what I needed then arranged for a ride to their store. Called them back to tell them I was 16 hours from home and asked if they would stay open just 5 minutes past their close time so I could get there and get back on the road.NOPE! Said they were leaving at exactly 7 PM. I just hope next time you two gentlemen need an ounce of help you run into someone just as unwilling as you are.
