I have a Jeep compass and my back window got stuck all the way down. It was to rain that evening. I had already been to 4 other places including a Jeep dealership. I was desperate as I don’t live in a good neighborhood either. I came at 4:50pm and asked if someone might be able to take a quick peek. The gentleman looked at and said “let me take it round back and have them take a look.” They had my car for some time. He drove it back around and the window was up. Thank you God. I asked if I owed anything for the time. He politely declined and told me to have a good day. Thank You so much for all you guys did. God Bless.

We found the last manual 2020 fiat spider 124 in the colors combo that we love at Lancaster Dodge Ram Fiat. We drove almost 3 hours to get to the dealership to finish paperwork and pick up the car. The whole buying process was above and beyond! We started the buying process over the phone and online, and then finished it up at the dealership 3 days later. Dean and Ruben were honest, genuine, and top notch with customer service. We would make the 3-hours drive over and over again just to do business with the Lancaster Dodge Ram Fiat team. Was in town visiting Hershey Pa. My Fiat 500 driver side window was stuck in the down position. I called and spoke to Kristie in service department. She said they had no appointments for two days, but bring it in and we will get window up for you. I drove there and Kristie work me in to get window up. Not only did she get window up, but totally fixed so I did not have to come back. This was awesome!!!! Thank you!

Recently purchased a used car from Lancaster Dodge and worked with Rafael. Had an excellent experience. All questions answered promptly and settlement was only a few minutes. I much prefer to purchase vehicles from smaller dealerships vs the mega dealerships. Always better service and no high pressure sales tactics. You should consider Lancaster Dodge when in the market for a vehicle and ask for Rafael.

The perfect truck buying experience! I could NOT be more happy! I found the vehicle I wanted online and reached out. I was immediately responded to by Ron Shertzer. If you want to buy a Ram vehicle Ron is *the guy* you want to find. He is a straight shooter and will work with you to buy the vehicle you want. He will get it done. The very next day I drove literally 100 miles to pick up my vehicle because of how easy Ron and his team made the process. Dean Dino the finance manager is wonderful and down to Earth. These guys know that they are in the business to sell vehicles and not give you the run around. Car buying has changed, people arent tire kickers anymore and these guy understand that. I had a wonderful experience with Ron at Lancaster Dodge Ram Fiat as I worked with multiple dealers in finding a new truck. I spent several hours at this location looking for a Ram 1500, test driving, and having numbers drawn up. When the numbers were out of range of my budget I moved on to look elsewhere.I ended up calling Ron a few days later to ask about a different model. He bent over backward to get numbers around in 1 hour and find me the best deal possible. He was even ready to come into work on his day off in order to let me test drive the new model I was looking at. Inevitably, I was able to find another deal elsewhere since I was shopping around, but my experience was great at this location. Be sure to see Ron! Terrible dealer to deal with. Went in looking at a specific truck ( 05 3500 diesel) to buy and trade my other one in. now the truck I was looking to buy was one thats hard to find on decent shape since its used and older and fairly low miles. well orginally was told my trade in was worth only 900 dollars when in reality it came out to be almost 11k. was told they ran the numbers wrong and it was a mistake. ok I get it mistakes happen time to move on. well next the truck that was sitting on the lot never had been ran through there shop yet so I had to wait for that before buying and taking ownership. originally was told it would take about 3 to 4 days. well that was July 30th and I wasnt actually able to til August 19th. 21 days later. unacceptable If you ask me but once again a hard truck to find or I would of left. well after taking ownership found that it lacked on power severely and had a boost leak. now Im a diesel mechanic so I know what to do. upon figuring it out found multiple loose clamps from the dealership where they just were working and one broke from being tightened down to much. also found the turbo waste gate leaking. now I get it was bought used but they were just working right there and did that themselves. called in and the sales lady jess pretty much told us she couldnt do anything about it and as it was used and as it and to call the service manager. well no response from him or the sales manager. I only had put 250 miles on it to that point as well. so stay away. bad service department and bad sales as the information and communication is not there at all.update: can get a response if you post a review but not an actual call back from them. they say they put all this money into it but it was left with problems because of a 6 dollar clamp and 150 dollar waste gate actuator they broke. All something that they did from neglect and poor quality work. same as leaving the other clamps loose for the air cleaner housing. hate to post negative reviews but trying to save someone else the troubles I went through. and them saying they spent money to get it up to selling standards well they have poor standards and I wouldnt buy anything that hasnt already been through service from them if you have to buy there atelast.

Just took my son shopping for a car after his 2015 Charger was totaled while parked in front of our house. Even during a frustrating situation such as this, Doug Herr made this an amazing buying experience and my son got a beautiful Certified 2018 Dodge Charger. The finance manager was just amazing, I have worked in the car industry in my prior life and I have to say that his explanation of the paperwork and fair pricing that we received for extended warranty and wheel and tire pkg bar-none was by far the best experience that I have ever had. So far not a good experience with the customer service center this morning. Have a problem with a headlight lamp not working, a recurring problem which about a year ago was an expensive repair. Scheduling an appointment the lady actually laughed at me as if its some kind of joke.Whats with people? Just make an attempt to be nice.

My wife and I showed up Saturday afternoon to look at her dream car, a Subaru WRX STI we found online. Immediately, Rafael invited us in, introduced himself, and asked if he could assist us. We told him what we were looking for, and right away he brought it out for her to test drive. He was very personable, professional and courteous, as was everyone we met during our visit. Great experience with this dealer, and sales consultant Rafael. We came from quite a distance to look at a potential car for purchase and he kept in touch with me as promised until we got there. I recieved a good price on a vehicle that had been on the lot for a year as an end of the year deal. Salesman seemed preoccupied when I went to pick it up. Salesman delivered the vehicle with only 3/4 tank of fuel. Blamed it on his card. Mentioned it again and he said, bet your trade doesnt have a full tank. Finance person was great, very informative. Vehicle broke down after less than 24 hours of ownership due to a defective part. Loaner truck smelled like fast food and cigarette smoke. New vehicle was in the shop for four days waiting on a part. Got the vehicle back and they didnt even bother cleaning the hydraulic fluid off the frame. No one expressed any sympathy for the inconvenience. Then the salesman starts harassing me by text message for low scores on the review. I have bought 14 new cars, 10 of them in the last 5 years, and this is one of the worst experiences.

They have two buildings there, fairly large, however they only use one ?The building they use is to small for their operation.They really need to update .They get in just enough new vehicles to make you stop .The stuff is friendly and not at all pushy .You have to found them, they always seem to be busy .The people working in the parts department and garage, are on top of everything and are also friendly and care about your needs.Great people! Took our Jeep in due to a misfire. I had changed spark plugs and a coil pack, but still had not fixed the issue. The team at Lancaster Dodge was very detailed in their approach to solving very rare and difficult to pinpoint issue. Dennis, the service manager, was very informative and helpful throughout the entire process. They made sure that when we did get the Jeep back that it would be running perfectly. They did an amazing job and Im very happy with the work!!

Where to begin. Buying the car here wasnt to bad. The warranty was just a waste. Had an idling issue with the car. So took it in for service. They had the car for a week. Changed a vacuum hose, changed spark plugs and inspected the car. Got the car back and headed straight to work. And it did the same thing it was doing when I took it in. Called them back and set up a second appointment to take it in. They kept the car for another week. When I went in to get it back the manager came to talk to me. He said they couldnt figure it out and I would have to take it some place else to have them fix it. Went outside to leave with it and it didnt even want to start now. So after a week all they did was make it worse. How do you inspect a car that has an issue every time it stops. Worst service department.

Spend a pile of cash at this place but don’t. I put a lot of miles on my truck so I run through oil changes like water. In one week I can put 3k on the truck you can never get scheduled in a reasonable amount of time to get oil changes. I perchesed an extended warranty and a 2 year oil package when I bought the truck. You need a Weeks’s+ to get in shop. That’s crazy so I have been paying for oil changes and tire rotations at cloister just down the street. If something breaks down on the truck I hat to see the lag time for repairs. I will never shop with this deal again. Wasted thousands of dollars. I was just looking to add a Dodge 3500 dully to our already growing fleet of trucks. I will pay the extra few thousand at Ford they get in and out ASAP

I purchased a CPO 2018 Challenger from Lancaster Dodge and I had a few minor problems but I spoke to Dean (the GM) and he took care of everything to make it right. The dealership needs some updating and my salesman needs some polishing but Dean is the man to see if you have any issues. I would not hesitate driving 3 hours (one way) to buy a car from them again. This review is for the service department. The mopar express lane is one of my favorites to use. The staff is always professional and helpful. You can pull straight in and when its time to get your car they leave it running right up front. They always check everything and top off all your fluids- washer and coolant. They have always filled the oil properly, check the tire pressure as well as if they need rotated or not. They literally go from front to back of your car. I would highly recommend this location in fact I probably will never take my car anywhere but here bc I trust them completely.

Speaking of service strictly. Communication is was limited at best. Not very proactive or accommodating in the least. It seems if you need to have your vehicle serviced, you better have an appointment. Otherwise, be prepared to wait. Service department was unfriendly and not communicative as to the needs of the customer, me. Maybe they are overbooked, I dont know. Seems to be a good problem and an easy one to fix. But what do I know.

I really wanted a Fiat 500 Abarth. I parked outside and a salesman emerged within seconds and was on me like a dog on meat. Another salesman emerged and paid a compliment to my very pretty Jaguar, and the salesman I was talking to snapped at him. This set the tone for the conversation. I got the feeling from the salesman that I was ruining his day. He was full of information and I enjoyed looking at the vehicle, but I never went back because I didnt want to see that salesman again.

Want excellent honest service? Then you should really look elsewhere. The first time I took issue that they replaced a tail light bulb I had just replaced that was fine. I was annoyed, but let it go. The second time they did not pass my vehicle and said it needed over $700 in work. I didnt believe them and was forced to pay for the testing to get my vehicle back. I took it to another mechanic who looked at their report and then passed the truck after giving it a full check up saying they were clearly being dishonest. I will give you a guess who I am going to next time...

Terri is very kind and patient. She works in the service department, and has helpme through some pretty frustrating times. All while earning my trust. Would definitely recommendEdit: they like to unplug things and lie about it. And I mean that in a literal sense. They actually unplugged my heating and cooling mechanism, and try to charge me $1000 for it.And when upper management was notified, nothing was done. NOT TRUSTWORTHY AT ALL!!!

Had my ram towed in from my local garage a week ago for an injection pump was told by another dealership that it might be a warranty problem but the other dealership has bad service so I thought Id try here I called in a couple times and they keep telling me its in line to go in here I am without a vehicle yet and to top it off I use it to plow and we just had snowUPDATEDThe dealer I bought it from did the same thing thats why I dont use them any more as far as the other garage they picked my truck up on sat diagnosed it on Monday informed me the pump might be under warranty and towed it to your facility that afternoon thats why I will be dealing with them for all non warranty work for now on and here it is a week and a half later and still dont have it as far as my contact number i called in there 3 or 4 times why didnt anyone ask me for it Im very disappointed with the outcome

Went in for a Part for my car and i was stunned that nobody wanted to help me because Im a girl. This is very upsetting. Also after my experience I went to Susquehanna dealership and and wow what a difference. Clean and friendly environment. Go anywhere but Lancaster Dodge!

I bought a Ram 2500 Cummins from this place over a year ago and when I was there ordering my truck through Alan the salesman at the time he told me the price of the truck and I said that was to much,so he went to the sales manager and came back with a lower price and I agrreawith it,so my new truck comes 4 months later and low and behold the truck was not what I ordered because when I thought they were dropping the price because Alan told me they were taking 9,000$ off the truck for being a returning customer they actually took some of the extras that I ordered off and never told me,,,so if I were looking to buy from this place I would stay far away from them because theyll lie to you and just take your money

Would never recommend this dealer was working with John Hatzis via Internet on lease of Ram 1500 John quoted a monthly payment of around 320-330 a month. I had a trade witch I gave him all of the info on. We drove 2 1/2 hours to the dealership test drove vehicle we were there for 3 hrs and they worked the numbers again and came up with a price of 427 a month. John said he thought my truck was a crew cab not king cab so that changed the price. I got up and walked out and they did not even try to stop me. I guess I should have figured dealers always give you false information just to get you in the door.

Just bought a 2015 Charger from there and have to say the dealer, John Hatzis, I was working with was extremely helpful and really helped me work things out to get the car I wanted. Also he didnt pressure me when deciding. He was really helpful with decribing and showing me how to use the vehicles features. Finance guy was very informative and great personality and also able to work things out to help my situation. Really happy with the experience.Only one minor complaint they could clean the cars exterior alittle better.

We had an excellent experience buying our Durango. John took us for our first test drive and took his time explaining the features of the SUV. He was personable and honest—not salesy. He was going to be out of the business for a couple days so he coordinated us time to meet with Jim to get an appraisal on our Murano and Steve to work with us while John was out of the business. Everything was smooth, got a fair trade-in on our car and then Dave made the paperwork painless and struck up conversation through the process to speed things along even more. Lastly, Rafael helped us with all he details of the new technology (Carp play etc). He went well above and beyond, treating us with excellent customer service and even staying well past his shift to make sure we learned everything that we wanted to and that we got a full tank of gas before driving our new car home. He clearly knows great customer service. Thanks, Lancaster Dodge Team!! We love our Durango!!...Now a couple weeks later...the great customer service hadn’t stopped... Standout customer service by the whole team, especially John H. who went out of his way multiple times to retrieve items I realized I left in my trade-in. Its been just over 2 weeks since I bought my absolutely amazing 2017 Ram 1500 sport night edition for here. I had spent about 2 months online shopping and searching for just what I wanted using a 200 mile radius for my search. When time came to start contacting g dealers as luck would have e it Lancaster Dodge had what I wanted as did a few other dealers. However they were the o ly dealer that seemed to want to earn my business. I can be a tough customer and ask question after question. Luckily I was contacted by the internet sales manager John Hatzis. John was the only salesman who literally answered all of my questions in a timely manager or at all. I was shocked how little effort others wanted to put into earning my business just relaying to emails with can you come in today for a test drive (which translates into so I can hard pressure you into buying something you really dont want today). John not only answered about 100 questions of mine but never once tried to get me to come in until I was ready. At no point was there any pressure. I was comfortable. All details for the cost and fees were laid out upfront so I knew exactly what I would be paying (now let me mention here the price was less then any of the other dealerships I had contacted on virtually the same vehicle and none could or wanted to try and match it without me coming in first). What made me decide this was the place I would buy my new truck most of all was when I sent John an email clarifying all for the taxes and dealer fees etc as well and final price. I had been grossly misinformed by several dealers about a few of the fees. I was prepared to spend almost 2K more for the vehicle thinking they were standard fees I could do nothing about. John quickly showed his honesty and integrity by informing me many of these fees are massively overinflated or totally fake. He could have taken me for another 2K I wouldnt have questioned but he didnt. That was the moment he truley earned my present and future business. When I arrived at Lancaster Dodge, the vehicle was ready and waiting for me fully detailed as John had promised. He went over a few things and went right to work to get me out as fast as possible (my request as I had a 2 hour drive to pick my youngest up from day care). The this g that impressed me the most with his customer service was after I had stepped out of the finance office having officially bought the vehicle John on his hands and knees polishing the wheels because the detail shop didnt do in his opinion good enough of a job. I told him it was going g to most likely rain and he didnt need to do it, and he responded with I promised you it would be done so I will finish it. Thats real customer service and integrity rarley seen from. Car salesman. In 5-6 years or so when I am in the market for another truck Lancaster Dodge will be my first stop. Business earned. On another note everyone I spoke with there for other salesman to find and were equally polite and friendly.Darren Rago

I purchased a C.P.O. 2014 Dodge Charger SXT with around 20k miles in June of 2015. I thought I already did a review here on Google, however it must have ‘disappeared’ like some reviews just do these days... Anyway, I worked with John Hatzis. I found him to be polite and very knowledgeable about the Charger and its features. The car itself was heavily scratched up everywhere and I do mean everywhere (sides, roof, hood, windshield, etc) but otherwise it was in very good condition. It was missing all floor mats and a cargo net as well. We worked out a fair deal and I got a good price on the Charger. I got taken to the cleaners for my trade-in value…next time I’m selling my car myself! The finance gentleman was very nice as well. He was kind of pushy with the extended service contract, but since I was paying cash (from my credit union) I didn’t purchase anything extra.First thing that was shady was the bill of sale that was sent to my credit union for their review/approval. It showed my trade as paid off but the negative equity was rolled into the price of the new car so that price was now greatly overinflated. The numbers still added up to the same balance we agreed to, but I later learned that reason they did this was to show a higher ‘profit’ made on the front end of the deal to report back to Dodge. My credit union kicked back the paperwork to Lancaster Dodge until it was sent back corrected.Second thing – I made a request during the price haggling to have the car buffed so that the scratches would be gone when I took delivery. I was told no problem. When I finally took delivery, I found they hadn’t touched the car at all!!! It was still covered in scratches! I asked John about this, I was told “well, we did try but we didn’t want to damage the paint” bla bla bla. I was furious and almost considered calling off the deal. This is the biggest negative with my experience here at Lancaster Dodge and the one I will always remember. You lost a repeat customer because you didn’t hold up to your promise. I took the Charger to a professional detailer a few months later and they did a great job on the exterior! Looked almost factory new!Finally – the delivery. I will give John credit that he found me a cargo net and a set of floor mats for no additional cost. However, when it was time to go over the features of the car before I drove away, he was nowhere to be found. I waited for a significant amount of time until he came back. He was out showing another car to a customer. The ink on the contract was still drying and I was already seemingly forgotten. Nice. Nobody else in the dealership offered to help either. When I did flag John down, the delivery presentation felt rushed but all my questions were answered.P.S.: I received no ‘thank you for your business’ phone call either from management. Classy. A few weeks later I did receive a phone call from some overseas call center asking me about the extended warranty. I said don’t ever call me back.I will not be going back to Lancaster Dodge…ever…for anything. I have enjoyed the Charger but this sales experience ruined any chance of further business at this dealership. I did steer away a family member who liked a car on their website, so I will consider that a success.
