We have been searching for a car for weeks, we went into Diamond mazda and we were paired with Paul Baird. He got the car we came to see and let us have our time to look over the car and test drive it. He was very helpful and not pushy whatsoever. I would recommend him to everyone! He made purchasing the car very fast and easy. He was super friendly and made sure we were satisfied.

Called Diamond Mazda on 6-29-21. Agreed to purchase a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica for their advertised price of $19,484.00. Took the day off from work, got my finances prepared & rented a vehicle to drive 6hrs from the Bay Area. Suddenly they raised the price by $2,400 less than 3hrs later claiming they reconditioned the car (basically a car detail), even though the dealership closes at 6pm and we last spoke at 5:45pm. Somehow they miraculously detailed the car & raised the price by $2,400 in those 15 minutes And they had the nerve to say just like a house, the nicer it gets, the more expensive it gets - like really?? Are you serious?? Never heard of a $2,400 car wash that takes place in less than 15 minutes. Needless to say, I did not purchase the car. Read their Yelp reviews for similar experiences from past customers. Always ask for the OUT THE DOOR price in writing to keep them from taking advantage of you & suddenly raising the price before you waste your time driving down there & wasting your day. They purposely avoid & stall giving you the out the door price because they have every intention of raising the price last minute. Like I said get it in writing before you drive all the way out to Lancaster in the middle of nowhere. Complete waste of my time. Avoid this dealership at all costs. And definitely read their Yelp reviews before doing business with them.

I purchased a car here about two years ago with no problems. Was generally pleased with the experience. During the sale I opted to get GAP coverage with assurance from staff that I could cancel it once my loan amount was less than the value.That is now the case and I have been trying to call to cancel. For the past week straight, I have called and left messages for the finance office. I did not receive a call back for 5 days. When I did receive a call back, it was 6pm on a Friday night (perhaps the worst time to call someone back). I was on the road so I asked them to send me an email. I never received an email.Now, I continuing to call daily. The finance office is never available and I am forced to leave voicemails that never result in getting a call back. Very disappointed in the service.UPDATE:The front desk receptionist gave me the finance managers email and told me he would get back to me. I sent an email and have not received a response. In over two weeks now, I still have failed to speak with the finance manager. Because my gap insurance is pro-rated, every day I am losing money but this dealership does not seem to care.

Saw the car of my dreams and right color so I contacted the dealer online, I lived 4 hours away and we did everything via phone, we had come to an agreement and I was asked to come to store that evening and told them I was too far away and it was late. I left work the next day to finish paperwork and pick up my car (lander evolution x final edition), I texted my salesmen that I was on the way, didnt get any response, remember they were very adamant for me to come at that time and on that day, where I told them I could be there saturday, 1 day later. So I did as instructed and drove down to their dealership for 4 hours on friday, when I arrived, I was greeted with concerns. I was told the car had issues needed time at the shop, I was told that I can fill out the paper work and get delivery of the car (If) and when its fixed. I would have been ok with that, had I been informed of it sooner. I was rushed to drive down to the dealer, missed work and waisted gas with the assumption that I was going home with the car. The lack of communication and more importantly the last minute inspection of the car needs to change. If its online and the fact that we came to an agreement assumes the car is READY. I was told that we can deliver your for free, as long as the car is fixed, it was a maybe!, uncertain sale whether I get the car or not. Unfortunately didnt get the car of my dreams, waisted gas, time, missed work. Unacceptable.

See below locked in rate online. Reason for one star poor customer service.I went to test drive a Mazda Miata Mx5 RF this week. I was coordinating with a salesman. After test driving the vehicle I liked it but, I wanted to take my time and research before just jumping on impulse. After sleeping on it for a night, I decided to call the same salesman back the very next morning to lock in the deal. He stated that there was a pricing mistake and that I would have to pay a new price of $35,995 versus the the previous amount of 33,961.00. He then said that he would talk to his manager about reducing the cost but it would take two days since it was his managers day off and then salesmans day off the following day.To make decent size review short. They didnt want to honor the price that was locked and blamed me the buyer for not acting within 24 hours. Lying saying that they told me I would have to act on it. When in fact I called salesman the next morning to lock in the deal and salesman saying the deal has passed, sorry salesman that is not outside the 24 hour time-frame.Also the cherry on top, saying that I cant buy out of state and stating that my new car would have to be garaged for a year. Also ghosting me after the fact when I wanted to speak to a manager.I would like to say that I appreciated speaking to Rachel in the online sale department. She did a wonderful job mediating the situation after they started ghosting me.Update:After writing this review on Antelope Valley Mazda, a representative reached out to me and tried to coordinate a deal, but I decided to work with another dealership. Capistrano Mazda which was amazing since I completed most of the transaction online and got the price that I initially found at Antelope Valley without no hassle for the same spec, grand touring snowflake white, and with the red nappa leather.I appreciate Antelope Valley for reaching out though.

For the past week I had been in contact with Mike C., Internet Sales Manager. He sold me through text on a CX-5 I had my eyes set on. So finally when I was ready to take him up on the offer he extended and before making the 90 mile drive, I called and confirmed with Mike multiple times during the call that the car I wanted was in fact available and that the offer still stood. He agreed and off I went to their dealership.Once I arrived in excitement, we get seated and thats where things go south. They told me the offer was not going to be honored because the trim they quoted me for was not available. They somehow made the mistake of overseeing that detail and they continued to add on excuses saying apparently I was only offered the discount because there was something wrong with the vehicle and it needed to be fixed.I shouldve known it was too good to be true. In that part its my mistake. But now I am a believer that car sales people DGAF about you and only about making money.They could have found a way to honor the offer that was made. But they chose not to.Do not be fooled by these people at the end of the day they will not keep their word, even for someone that was willing to put down a large down payment and drove 90 miles back and forth.

Horrible customer service, sales professionals dodge your calls and wont return them. I had to ask for copies of the contracts after i was ghosted for an hour after agreeing to the sale price, once they got my signature i was forgotten in the lobby and had to find someone to ask if i was good to leave, expecting me to 1. leave with no truck 2. leave with no money and 3, leave with absolutely no paperwork stating i was even there!Sold my truck to this dealer 2 weeks ago, they paid the truck off with my bank and had it for sale within days, yet i have still not been paid out! AV Mazda owes me over $2700.Very shady business practices here and feel like ive been scammed. Communication goes a long way in a situation like this.

Unethical, plain and simple. Anything they say, or do is simply a scam. If you or someone you know has been scammed out of your identity information by this company please contact me as I believe they may be making false promises in order to collect personal information for unknown purposes, and I am currently seeking legal assistance to obtain class action status against Antelope Valley Mazda for these deceptive business practices.I found a vehicle that I liked on their website while they were closed. I decided I wanted it, so I went through the checkout process and applied for financing. I was immediately approved by the bank. I was provided with the loan interest rate, term, payment amount, etc.. I was then asked obtain insurance for the vehicle and to make an appointment for the following day to pick it up, all of which I did.I received a call in the morning BEFORE the dealership opened, I asked that the financing be verified before I make the three hour drive to pick up the car. I was told that they would call me back in the next half hour, and they did not. Two hours pass, and I called them back to find the status of my new car.I was told that someone had come in and bought it that morning.Weird, since I had bought it the day before, obtained a loan, purchased insurance and made an appointment to pick up the vehicle, and spoke on the phone with the dealership before this other customer even showed up.Their excuse....This is how sales works. Its first come first serve, find another vehicle. It was MY FAULT for not being at the dealership the moment they opened.Given the suspicious nature of this chain of events, the low vehicle price tag, the personal information that was provided to them and to third parties on the pretense that I had been approved to purchase the vehicle, and then basically being told to F*off by two difference employees (Mario in sales, and Carol who is in financing) I feel that this is potentially at very least and unethical business practice at very least, and now that its done, I feel like I have just been scammed out of my identity, my credit score has taken a negative hit because of the multiple inquiries they made, and Im out of pocket for the insurance they told me to purchase.

Just drove to AV Mazda 2.5 hours from San Diego to buy a car with a bank loan check. Alan the sales rep seemed nice enough however I told them I already had approved financing and did not want my credit pulled. They said it had to be pulled to which I replied that it did not and they cited the post 9/11 it had to pulled. One of the sales managers said it was because of the Patriot act, but the patriot act does not require car dealerships to pull credit. Then he said the OFAC which is the Office of Foreign Asset Controls frim the US Treasury Department. Which a check of the OFAC list would say if if a narcoterrorist and had sanctions. This check would be required if I was purchasing the car in cash. I then told the manager this and he then said it was a requirement because of the State of California. I told him to to provide the statue and he told me to look it up myself. Needless to say Ill be taking my pre-approved purchase to another place. STOP TELLING LIES.After reading your response Sir. Id like to point out a number of issues. Firstly, if there is a Federal statue that requires you to pull credit it would be as simple as posting the applicable US. Code title and section number. Secondly the OFAC is a matter of concern for the United States Treasury Department last I checked they were separate from the Department of Homeland Security. Third I was prepared to purchase your car with a certified bank check from the largest credit union in the country. And lastly that your own sales managers first said it was a requirement of the Patriot Act which is a lie. Secondly that it was because of the OFAC, which you do not need to pull credit for and lastly that is was an arbitrary California state law, which he did not know the name or codified number to. Your man is still a LIAR, and I purchased a very comparable car from a dealership in Irvine with out running my credit and the same pre-approved bank check I showed your man yesterday.

I love my car but today my experience with the service department here was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The young lady named Savanna is so rude to customers. They make you sit and wait right when you walk in, even when you have an appointment. So unfriendly! It was my first oil change and complimentary car wash. It took almost 5 hours. When we finally came in to pick my car up we were immediately told to sit and wait again! I’m sorry but we have things to do and I would never expect something simple to take so long. When we were finally able to sign paperwork my husband commented on the long wait and Savanna gave us a rude look. Not acceptable! No apologies no one there cares it’s awful! We were handed keys and we are like where is the car they are like over there 👉 Come on I read similar reviews from other people so that means you need to make some changes and start treating customers like you value their business!!

These guys dont give up! I went into refinance and came out with a new car. I had a really bad interest rate 17% on a Mazda 2 2014 through another dealer which shall not be named. I ended up with a 2017 Mazda 3 at. 4% interest rate and 85 dollars more a month on my car payment. Alvin Perry is a great man he loves helping people. I had a 500 dollar down payment and got way more then what I was expecting. I kept saying no and they kept asking for the chance to help me. I really didnt expect to drive away with the car I wanted and he made it happen. I have a coworker who just bought a van from this location. She recommended this location and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend going here and ask for Alvin. Give him the chance to help you!

Horrible service, I went to get a recall and for one there systems were down but for being like absolutely no one in the sales department and service department I was expecting better service. I asked if I could speak with the person working on my car like every other dealership allows you to do but the lady who is the service desk working told me that the person doesn’t speak to customer or answer questions so I said who can I speak with and she told me you can’t speak with anyone so looks like I’m not coming back for what I wanted to go to the dealership again for maybe I’ll just take it to my mechanic who will give me better service and answer my questions. I was also told they do 180 point inspections when my car is there and when I asked if it passed she told me we didn’t do one when she told me they will do one. So I just left. Maybe if you guys gave and have better customer service you guys would get more business

The sales rep didn’t apologize for the experience and told us to go to the Ford dealership to coordinate a test drive. The man at Ford was snapping at her and I took her to Toyota. One of the best experiences Ive had going into this dealer. My sales rep Chad was very knowledgeable and helpful. The guys in finance were also helpful. It was hard for me to decide which car to get but they helped me narrow it down. HOWEVER after i left the lot with my car i noticed the brakes were making a noise as if the sensors were hitting. i took it in and they said my brakes were fine. that was not the case though. i took my car to a mechanic only to find out the pads are worn and rotors had hot spots. they refused to take responsibility of this certified used car and will not change these parts out. they sold me a car with bad rotors and bad brakes. very disappointing! no wonder why they are so good at taking your money and shaking your hand. i will not come back here again.

The service dept is run by a really likable person so I like going in there but last time something very strange and uncomfortable and inappropriate was done while I was relaxing waiting. Some salesman came in and targeted me in the service area. He started talking to me which I hate just in general but then he wanted to try to sell me a new car! I was just getting maintenance done and was so tired.

After arriving Brandon ( the gentleman I ordered the parts from) helped me out and when I explained that one part was incorrect we worked together to find the part I needed and he is able to get it in tomorrow 8/15/19. Although it was a high mileage used car they were able to provide me 6 months warranty on it. So i got the car that day but my car’s second key was missingI called, emailed and texted the salesperson as well as the manager like thousand times to try to arrange to get my second and they haven’t responded to any of my trialsThey said they are gonna mail to you 2 weeks ago and i still haven’t received itSo once the deal is done,they won’t help you anymore!I STILL NEED TO FIND WHERE AND WHENMY KEYS WERE MAILED???!!When there are a lot of those unsatisfactory reviews, the management have to do something about it

Service department employee was just simply rude. I had a 10:30 appointment. I came in at 10:07 she took 10 minutes to ask me for help while she wipe off the coffee area. After waiting she actually started to work on my request. I was told before hand that the appointment would be 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes. She stated that it would be longer close to 2 1/2. I waited for over a hour and notice my car was not even move. When I ask Savanna she said well your appointment wasn’t till 10:45. I corrected her and said it was 10:30 and I arrived 20 minutes early. Let’s just say I left and will not be coming back because of the rude customer service.

I originally came in for service on my previously owned RX8 until finding out I had some serious engine issues. Our salesman was Chad Davis . I had shopped around many dealers online to look for a decent deal on a 2019 CX-5 NEW (purchased Feb 2020), as they were trying to sell these models. I stumbled across AV Mazda and a new CX-5 on the lot that had all the packages I was looking for. I first began engaging with Edwin, who was very responsive with everything-- which I did appreciate. We worked out all the numbers and then came into the dealership to pick up our car. Upon arrival, the power liftgate would not open. The dealer advised us that we can take it to ANY Mazda to have the issue repairs since it is under warranty and their master tech was not in. Okay, that is a pain, but it is what it is. We drove over an hour for this vehicle and had a different Mazda down the street from us.We then get into financing with Ashley (her office was out of the Ford dealership since they work together). She was initially nice and friendly. Then came the time to sell the maintenance package, the warranty, and the GAP. I kindly declined and said we did not need those. She then said again the importance of GAP and the warranty because you never know. I said I previously worked in finance and know the up-sell and profit off of these packages so I would like to pass. She then threw in a snide remark of hmmm, maybe that is why you are not in finance anymore. I wrapped up the paperwork and got out of there.Called the local Mazda dealership and they advised it had to go back to AV Mazda for the liftgate because it is a specific dealer issue because they did not properly remove the alarm. So back we go, one hour each way, to fix this issue. The service side was super nice and helped fix the issue promptly. +1 star for the service side. However, I would not return to this dealer again.SIDE NOTE: My brand new CX-5 had the transmission replaced due to failure, but it was covered under warrantly luckily. It only has 1,713 miles on it.

After describing my situation to her about my poor credit she still encouraged me to come and said that they would do their best to work with me so i put my faith into her confidence and i was not disappointed at all. I walked onto the lot, considering the purchase of a Mazda3 or a Mazda6. I have a vehicle that I really enjoy, but unfortunately, it must be bought back by the manufacturer in the coming month.I walked onto the lot and was immediately met by a very courteous and helpful salesman, I explained that I was not a buyer today, but that Id like to see and possibly test drive a couple of the cars. Absolutely no problem was the reply. In total, I spent nearly 2 hours at the dealership, going over the features and comparing the two models, and test driving three of them. I then met with the sales manager briefly, and was impressed with his approachability and friendliness as well.I was then escorted to the Ford dealer (same dealership) next door, to test drive a model that I had an interest in there. While they didnt have was I was looking for in stock, they were happy to do it.AV Mazda has my business, if, when the time comes, a Mazda is what I end up choosing (and at this point, thats exactly how it looks) Subsequent visits to other dealerships have shown me the value of a dealership that operates the way AV Mazda does!

Repost: There were issues with the website having the wrong numbers listed and a problem with the appointment request form not being submitted to the shop. Laura did everything she could to make things right and I walked away much happier. They went over the issues I was having so that they could be addressed so other customers would not have the same issues. Thank you Laura for making things better.Customer service in the service department has been the biggest headache. I used the tool on their website to make an appointment. Called to confirm, and was told they dont have an online tool to make appointments. Had a rental car while it was in the shop and had to extend that being that there was no actual appointment made. I would say maybe 20% of the time I tried to call, I would get transferred and no one ever answered. Once I finally talked to the service department to try and get my part in earlier than them, they completely cancelled my order because they didnt actually listen to what I was saying. I had to pay an overnight fee so that I didnt have to extend the rental car again because the part wasnt going to come in for 4 days. They didnt try to do anything to make my experience better, did not even apologize for making the mistake on the website or cancelling the part. Avoid working with the service department if you can.

We bought a Mazda6 Grand Touring three months ago, and it is already had wheel bearing and transmission problems. This is very unreasonable, as we bought a Mazda knowing that the brand was reliable but turns out that it is a complete piece of trash. Already the third or fourth time taking it into service, however they were not able to fix it. The Services Manager, Justin was completely unhelpful stating that, Its a machine and machines break, This is not even on the lines of prompt and friendly customer service as AV Mazda states on their website. They sold us a broken car and they wont service it properly or give us a replacement. Very frustrating and rude dealership.

I came in 2 weeks ago to AVMazda just to look at Mazdas. I was approached in a non threatening manner by Alvin Perry. As I asked him questions he seemed to have all the answers and not like he was trying to make them up like other sales people at other Mazda dealers. I recently purchased a 2011 Subaru WRX from here. After purchasing the vehicle, Subaru service records showed previous subframe damage from the owner who traded in the vehicle. After learning about this I brought the car back in to the Mazda dealership to inform them of the damage. After meeting with Doug the general manager, they offered to cancel the contract and take back the vehicle. I have to give it to the sales team and the GM for their honesty and working with me regarding this issue.

Service at AV mazda was awful. I went in yesterday 6/31/2019 to see and test drive the CX-5 touring after the great reviews the car had online. However it took the salesman over 10 minutes to approach my family and I. When he did, he had no joy and honestly no real intention to sell me a car. When I asked him the difference between the sport and touring model he had to look at the chart on the car. Additionally, he was so quiet that myself and my family had to pry questions out of him. When we went on the test drive he did not speak about any features, did not even know how many air bags were in the car. In addition, when we came back from the test drive, I asked to see the grand touring edition because I was unimpressed with the touring. He stated he was going to pull the car around but on the way he stopped by to speak to another customer for about 10 minutes which left us feeling unattended. Also the grandtouring had to get a cable jump and was not turning on. For such an empty dealership I would have expected excellent service. As a courteous customer I shook his hand at the end and he could care less. Really disappointed, so disappointed that I cant remember his name just that he was wearing glasses and had a beard. Really disappointed, Ill stick with Chevy.

Carol at AV Mazda answered my phone call and from the moment I spoke to her, she went above and beyond our expectations. She called us right back, was friendly, helpful, professional, efficient, found us a great deal, made herself available, called us and texted us back and even offered to deliver the car to us. She just made buying a car a joyful experience, something that it should be, especially when you’re spending a considerable amount of money. But beyond that it’s normally a stressful experience, wondering if you’re being taken advantage of, etc. and some dealers seem to play games. There was none of that. We would not hesitate to buy another car from Carol and this dealership in the future.
