I ordered the stainless brake tube set., for my 87 Jeep. Took a while to finally get it. But it was well worth the wait. Good quality tubing and fittings and the fit was very good.

Update 9/1/20 mfg contacted me to resolve issue, I was never told product is re-boxed by distributor until now, so apparently distributor put yet another shipping bend into product making it difficult to straighten back out, so be aware in buying this product from CJ pony parts.

Tim was very helpful at classic tube. He showed me all of the available options that I was looking for, I made a selection. They’ve made the lines while I waited, 15 minutes later they were done. I’m a lifelong customer of classic two and a very satisfied customer. Tim made sure that I was satisfied with the lines after they were made and I will be back again

I usually dont do reviews. But i have to say a few things: living in the North East cars and brake lines rust. I will always replace my brake lines with stainless steel. Also for the little bit they charge for these lines you are money ahead rather than trying to bend and flair your own steel lines. These lines always look more professional than someone trying to bend themselves with an autozone tubing bender. I will never have to replace these lines again!!! Thank you Classic Tube!

I had a bad experience. I ordered a kit for my 97 Yukon. Received it then had to schedule a day off work to do it. I got all lines in went and installed the parts, last line in rear and had a 12 overlap. Something was very wrong. I called and they wanted pics, since they kept quoting how they use computers and we make a lot of these, kind of gave me a feeling that they were not even at fault and I was rude to even suggest they messed up.. Well its not my fault something was made wrong actual 12” of length that I didn’t magically add. Everything is in place and where it should be on my end. They suggested I cut it and get it flared at my expense locally. I spent almost all day Saturday driving to over 35 locations, a few tried nobody could double flare Stainless. Labor day weekend goes by I contact Tuesday, I told Larry exact dimensions and cut off for flare to get me on road and I need it next day air. Well Friday came I get label notification, not even shipped just created. I call, once again I get that he sent it ground. I will have truck on jack stands another week since I can only work on weekends. They quote how great they are but do not give a d@mn about any problems they create. These lines cost me way more than the $300 price. They offered nothing in way of any apology or compensation, didnt even get line done and sent out in the 2 days. I would guess they made it Friday. I paid my money and Classic Tube messed up. That should mean I go to front of line to fix situation they created. Not at classic tube. If you can get a roll of copper based line and some fittings and do it yourself, DO IT! I wish I did. I thought this would save me time.. I was wrong. It’s not only the receiving and making of a quality part that makes a company, but more so what the company does when there is a problem.. short answer Avoid Classic Tube, I have learned my lesson.

I have a 89 dodge dakota I needed brake lines and fuel lines bent. They didnt have my style in their computer. Sent them all my old lines and they bent everything in stainless steel and all worked perfectly. Even all the ends were exactly ass original. Just wished they would of contacted me when they where done/shipping them back.

If you call and get a salesman named Don, hang up or request Larry or Tim. Don is not a good listener and screwed up my order royally. I sent them and exact model of what I needed and thats not what I got. I was quoted a good price by Larry before I sent my very small project out to them, and when they received it Don called me and quoted me a price 3 times the original quote. After haggling with him, he dropped a bit so what was I to do? I already paid to ship parts there. Plus, Fon told me they couldnt do a hose stop type flare on such a small line. (3/16th diameter)In the end the corrected everything and paid all the extra shipping. But the whole ordeal took a month to turn around. I choose Classic Tube Because they were closer to me and wanted to save on shipping. In the past I dealt with In-Line Tube who is on Michigan and turned my previous project around within a weeks time and price was fair too. Guess I should have stuck with what works rather than to try and save a few dollars.

It took weeks to get the fuel line I ordered, which was ok, since they told me that upfront. But the contours of the piece are a very so-so approximation of original bends. I called them and said it was a poor fit, and was told to just send my old line with the new one back to them and they would do it again. I hesitate to do this as I would lose the pattern of my original piece. If I was doing this again, I would buy bulk copper line and made a replacement line myself.

After being sold the wrong brake line set for my 1984 Mustang SVO by CJ Pony Parts in PA, I called and talked with Tim Slattery at Classic Tube directly about my fitment issues. Tim not only gave some clarity on what kit I should have been sold, but also offered to help put together a full kit to meet the exact need I had for some modifications I had made to my car (installed an 8.8 rear with disc brakes). He was also able to keep the price competitive with the other 8 piece Foxbody full brake line kits they offer (a little higher due to the custom nature of the request) and was able to turn around the shipment in a day, with delivery in 2 days to where I live. I am thankful for his willingness to be an assistance during the tail-end of a long exhausting project I have been working though with my car. It was a great way to wrap up this phase of the project and will be sure to return and/or recommend anybody that needs pre-bent brakes lines to talk to Tim for any help they might require.

Would not recommend these brake lines to anyone. Do not fit well. I had to make extra bends and adjustments. I ordered a stainless steel brake line kit for my truck and the matching stop flex hose and the rear hose has the wrong size fitting to connect to the hard line. Took longer to recieve than the salesman told me it would. Not impressed for the amount of money I spent. More like a $50 valve instead of the $450 it cost me.

I brought in a pair of template fuel lines, they made a copy of them in only a few hours. I traveled cross border to do this, they accommodated my rush order. Thanks!
