Unfortunately we went through almost every ballon on the wall until they had one in stock. Took the boy 20+ minutes to fill our balloons. One would not seem to float so I was asked to get another one. The employee dropped the new ballon (which floated to the ceiling). Then continued to give us the deflated one, when asked if that was the bad balloon he said, “these don’t seem to be filling today.” And gave us our balloons with a deflated one on the bottom.

Worker was rude when I asked a simple question. Didn’t even let me finish my sentence before saying no and blowing me off.

The store selection is fantastic and the employees are friendly and helpful.

They didnt have the party theme I was looking for. Went back to get balloons ok party day. They were quick so thats good. At the park, one balloon got away because it came loose from its ribbon.

Very impressed by the work of the party city employees mainly the three young ladies by the names of Jazmin, Ariana, and Valeria. These ladies were very helpful and kind. Live, laugh, love.😀👛

Very unorganized in this store but if you have time you will find probably some good things. More pricey than I expected. The worker that was blowing up balloons while I was in there kept popping them which was scaring my kid. The attached pictures were what I purchased for 50$

And this is why are oceans are dying... Theres little more than unnecessary plastic junk that just ends up in a landfill or choking a living creature in this store. Avoid the temptation to prove your love with junk and mylar balloons and put your money toward something meaningful.

Bought a costume online from Party City specifically because I knew it could be returned locally. The costume was too small so I drove to Lakewood Party City. The girl behind the counter didnt even bother to look at my receipt. She took one look at the package and said, We dont carry that so we cant take it back. It specifically says on their online store that you can return to their physical stores. In fact, when I went home and processed the return online (and paid $7 to ship), it even asked me again if I wanted to return to the store or do a mail label. As we drove away from the store, my husband said, This is why people buy from Amazon.

Do not go here on the day before Halloween. It was ransacked. Lol but the workers were still helpful and surprisingly in a good mood. The line was to the back of the store. I really liked that they made a message on the loud speaker for people to social distance. I was there for not a costume and they had everything I needed. The phone kept ringing. I was feeling sorry for the checkers. They were slammed. Hopefully they get a Halloween bonus

Their website said they had both costumes i was looking for in the correct size available for curbside pick up. They actually did not have either one! What a waste of time.

There seemed to be more items on the floor than on the shelves. Hard to find the items I needed. Eventually found a fake mustache that I wanted so that I could look like Steve Harvey, but sad to say that the $5 I parted with was much too overpriced. The glue on it barely lasted one use. Dollar Tree has much better mustaches, in case youre in the market for some. The mens bathroom was also blocked by a stack of empty cardboard boxes, and could benefit from a good cleaning.The staff was friendly and helpful. Seemed like college kids just doing their jobs. Wish them well.

Its a great store with party stuff- even Chinese New Year and maybe Festivus.For those who love to celebrate and decorate,, this is YOUR store. Christmas decor missing something?- Party City has it. Now. Jelly Belly beans in blue? Yep. Super Bowl, right as you walk in. I almost expect a staff of the Easter Bunny, Val- the Cupid, a leprechaun named Seamus... Sure hobby lobby is next door. But if you just want to hang stuff, run in for a little bit of Ilser ( hence blue beans), this be your place. And balloons too! They need a few more locales.

I found what I was looking for, however it was extremely messy and disorganized. I understand they were putting things out. But I couldnt even get my cart into some areas

I have no idea how this place can be run the way it is. It is so incredibly dirty in this store. There are strewn toys, boxes, and trash covering every inch of the floor. Shelves we disorganized, picked through and many were just empty. I dont think anyone had cleaned or organized this store in a very long time.

Seems like a lot of people like to party in Lakewood. And why not? They have a hobby lobby AND a sonic. In any event, this place sells shiny and inflatable knickknacks geared to give three year olds an hour of joy that they wont remember after one nights sleep. Party City exclusively deals in products that will no doubt add some well needed decor and plastic jazz to the Pacific Ocean. Also, I couldnt tell if the staff hated the customers or each other more.

No one here knows proper grammar and unless you force your way to the front and flag down someone there is no one to help you at the balloon counter on the weekends, or if there is they dont pay attention to the customers. Decent selection but they dont have no frog balloons (double negative, so they should have one) so I wasnt able to get all I wanted.

Ive been going here for years but their party supplies are getting expensive and they started to charge for helium if you want any balloon inflated. Your better off ordering on a different site that sells party supplies a few weeks ahead and buying your own helium or taking your balloons to a dollar tree to get it inflated they charge less and for some reason last longer do not go to this store!!

It was the day before my daughters 13th birthday and I wanted to order 13 balloons from the nearest Party City location which was the Bowles location but they didnt have the balloons that I wanted, so I chose the Belmar location because the site said that they had 6 or 7 each of the kinds of balloons that I wanted. I scheduled my pickup for 5:30 that day and arrived just after. There were signs posted with a number to call to pick up my order. I called the number and no one answered. Soon after a young man came out and yelled through my window to ask if I was calling them. I told him yes and he yelled at me to stop calling. I was first in line but for the next 30 minutes, the employees helping customers did not ask for my name or information. They brought out many orders for customers behind me until finally, they brought out balloons for the lady behind me that looked exactly like half of what I ordered. Once she left, they finally asked for my name. When they came out with my order, they only had half of my balloons. They told me that they had run out of half of the balloons that I had pre-ordered. They told me that they would not charge me for the balloons that they couldnt give me so I explained that I wanted 13 balloons because it was my daughters 13th birthday and I would take any replacement balloons that they had. She told me that she could not replace the balloons because her manager would not let her. There was nothing that I could do so I told her that the balloons were for the next afternoon and I asked her what I could do to keep the balloons floating until the next day. She suggested keeping them close together and did not indicate that I would have any problems keeping them afloat for that much time. I finally left the store at almost 6:30. When I woke up the next morning, the balloons were all on the ground(pictured below). I called the store and asked for a manager. When I reached her, I told her about my experience and she only interrupted me once to tell me that they didnt guarantee how long their balloons would last and that confetti balloons didnt last very long. I told her that what I was asking for was to purchase the six balloons that had not been available the day before and to replace the deflated balloons. She said she would have to check and put me on hold. When she came back she said that they could place that order for me but I would have to pay for it all. I told her that I would take my business somewhere else. I purchased 13 balloons from my local grocery store and they held up for the entire party and the next day.

The absolute worst Party City Ive been in. The floor was covered with merchandise. The worst part was the employees being pushy and yelling at us to leave.. This place was okay. There a large section empty or unavailable to shop. This staff is very nice. It would be a great place if you where having large partys. I was not there to shop for party just birthday for 2 people. Large section of balloons.

Wow Ive never been to a store that is so messy. This place is trashed. And all of the costumes we looked at they were out. I dont shop here and looks like I wont shop there in the near future.

Balloons make everything more festive. Fun decorations and lots of color options. Extensive balloon options. Thanks to Party City for bringing life onto my husbands birthday party. I will be back.

Laughable.The lack of customer service is astounding. Your job is to blow up balloons and check people out, its really not that hard to do it at least nicely or with consideration and communicate back to a customer when they have questions. Its just laughable.

They always have what I need and I love that you can order your balloons ahead of time and pick them up on the day u need them.

Expect to get no customer service, search everywhere for what you are looking for because the store is always in such disarray, not find what you are looking for because they are waiting on a shipment, wait in a really long line to check out, then have your purchase fall apart in the first few minutes of using it. And, of course, they cant exchange your item because it isnt in stock anymore. No balloon pumps at a party store? This has happened to me multiple times at this store. Attention Party City corporate, you need to send some help over there!

This is a great store - its huge and has tons of things you might be looking for to have parties and other celebrations. Its also really convenient, just off Alameda in the Belmar complex. They dont have a ton of people working at any one time, but the ones who are there are quite helpful.

This place has the worst customer service, I ordered a costume for my daughter and it was cancelled, every question I asked the girl when I called I had to be placed on hold for, I asked to speak to a manager so I could understand what was going on. The manager who says her name is Elizabeth was absolutely RUDE, I let her know that I was charged for the purchase and she basically called me a liar, after being fed up with arguing and managed to get her name out of her she hung up on me. Perfect Management. Your store sucks.

Always a good place to find birthday and special event presents and decorations

Tomorrow I am supposed to be a bag sponsor. You know what I had none of today..you guessed it!! BAGS. Hobby Lobby turned an almost catastrophe into a once in a lifetime experience. I left with exactly 187 bags at a more than reasonable price. But the great experience didn’t end there...the checkout line was an adventure all in its own. Thank you hobby lobby for letting me keep my job and dignity. I am forever grateful and I end this day VICTORIOUS! #lobbylifer

Armageddon. There were palettes of bulk surplus costumes and props dropped in unorthodox areas all over the storefront. Kids and adults alike, screaming and running around in a craze! I fell, slipping over ravaged products that had been torn open and soiled. Losing sight of my girlfriend in a horde of bodies rushing toward the back of the store, I gained a renewed determination to navigate the savage hellscape. The center of the store appeared to have once been a area where candy was stored. Now a desalinat waste, plundered by children apparently abandoned with no parents or supervision in sight. Avoiding the center of this seasonal purgatory, I approached the rear of the structure. A wall of bodies pressed together, sweating and stinking of the mornings work moved in unison waiting for something, seemingly behind a set of double doors to a storage area. Short there after, a malnourished and obviously underpaid male teen emerged pushing a brown plastic shopping cart from a dollar general, overflowing with skimpy nurse and Harley Quinn costumes. The mob instantly came to life, shouting, pushing and grabbing. Mac was pressed against a wall, depleted and afraid. Running over the weaker collapsed shoppers who did not make it. I made my way to my terrified partner. Both, sapped of our willingness to live, we decided the faux leather gloves we came for were not worth the loss of our humanity and made straight shot for the nearest exit as the zombie horde devoured itself.

Call first to make sure they have what you want. I looked on the website for things I needed and it said they were in stock but when I got there they were not. Half the store was empty, hopefully that was just because theyre getting ready to put out Halloween costumes....?

This store has gone downhill with their customer service. Staff is not friendly or helpful or even professional. Great selection but lousy customer service. We used to go to this store all the time but I have no intention of going back.

Party city is defiantly nice if you need to put something together quickly or for a cheap Halloween costume. I get a lot of my sfx makeup from here because its cheap for big bulks of it. The wigs suck, and most of the costumes fall apart, but Im also a professional cosplayer so I home make everything. Would suggest for children or to get some good birthday supplies. The staff are nice and the store is very big.

Empty pegs everywhere with full boxes just stacked all over. We drove past three other party cities, some 40 min each way, to get a BOPIS for a kids party. What a joke. Left empty-handed. Looks like this store hasnt had a good review in months. Avoid at all costs.

I asked a guy if he could please help me find something in the store that I saw online, he replied with, Im 3 days new and have no idea where much of anything is. I asked him if he could point me to someone who would know, he replied you can ask someone up front I exclaimed that I already tried, the line was long and they appointed me to someone on the floor. I ordered online, drove 40 minutes to pick up my order. I followed the directions to the “Online Pickup Order” sign. I waited for over 10 minutes while the only checker kept checking people out that were in line after me. Their was a girl blowing up balloons that said nothing to me. I finally asked what’s the point of buying online to pick up if I could’ve gotten the items and stood in line faster?? I’ll NEVER use Party City again. Horrible customer service and the employee didn’t even help. I left without picking up my order.

Definitely avoid the online store! They cant get a delivery right and misspelled our last name...which is Black! Seriously!! If youre looking for custom glasses go to a locals shop and avoid the idiots that made ours...

I have never actually filled a review out. Unfortunately I feel the need to so people can avoid wasting their time here at party city. The location off of (7000 W Alameda Ave, Lakewood, CO 80226) was one of my worst experiences at this chain. The employees feeling up the balloons have absolutely the worst attitude. Wasted my time and treated me Horrible. With an attitude as if I knew what their policy was on getting balloons than getting into the line. Before any knowledge of the policy we waited 10 minute in the balloon line. Once we got up to the front we were Rudly told to do grab our balloons and get into the line for the regiser. We waited 15 minutes in line. After arriving at the register the woman immediately yelled at us telling us it’s going to be a 50 minute wait on the balloons.I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you have an hour of your day to waste at party city.

I requested an online order fulfilled. When I arrived the system was acting up so we had to reenter my order manually which was a good thing we did because my order was incomplete with no notice of the missing items. When I searched the extremely disorganized store I could not find the items online stated in stock. The only reason I order ahead of time and went to this particular store was so I could get these specific items. Not being told my order was incomplete then hunting high and low through the store was awful. A trip that should have taken 5 minutes took me an hour. Very displeased.

This was the worst party city I’ve ever been to. A complete disgrace for a public store. Everything was completely destroyed down every single isle you walked down. Most of the items were strewn about out of their packages and on the floors. I couldn’t help but ask an employee what happened to the place. Their excuse was “oh this time of year just really beats us up.” I have a hard time believing it was the holidays that made the store that disastrous. I just don’t think they care what the store looks like at all. If I were you, I would save yourself the trouble and try a different location.

We purchased a pinata for the first time here. It was $20 not a horrible price but Ive bought cheaper. At party it broke after one 4 year old hit with a soft bat. Company said they could do nothing because it was broke. 14 upset children....

We waited for 20 minutes at the balloon station before an employee told us that we had to stand in the checkout line to pay for the balloons before they would inflate them. After another 20 minutes we got our four balloons. They stayed inflated for less than 8 hours.We woke up this morning for our gender reveal with my parents to only have two semi-inflated balloons.Lame!

Everyone here is extremely rude. Will never do business here again. The one off of 94th and Sheridan is definitely more professional than this store. Dont dare ask to get balloons filled because theyll throw a fit. Took me almost 40 minutes just to get 9 balloons refilled while they stood around and talked about their work schedule. Servicing my needs werent important to them because they were only being refilled. Horrible horrible horrible customer service. Wouldnt even give them one star if I had the choice.
