Just after acquiring our new truck, we were referred to Edgar at Wish Auto Collision by our FedEx delivery man and we are so glad we asked. Shortly after arriving Hector asked if we could see the shop and WOW... clean work areas, everyone working and smiling. Not only were they knowledgeable and experienced, but they were all WONDERFUL people.From our first visit we were treated with kindness and total respect. Shortly after thoroughly inspecting the truck for damage, the owner Edgar handed us a written estimate. It was a more than fair price for the work required to get it back to its original beauty In a resonable timeframe. The following day we dropped off he truck understand and knowing it would require at least 5 days to do the job right. Exactly 5 days later we were THRILLED with the amazing job they had done. These guys worked magic, multiple dents completely GONE, paint PERFECTLY BLENDED. The car had been detailed and was spotless and it had been brought back to beautiful again. In addition to the requested job, A complete vehicle inspections only found the need for new windshield wiper blades so they replaced them with with pleasureWe will definitely be using Wish for all our vehicle needs, oils changes, tires, total engine rebuilds and vintage car restoration (another thing they are really good at) and everything in between. These are great people who do great work. I broke down on I-75 over 2 hours away from home and they were the only mechanic in the area that was able to help me on the same day. They work quick and are very friendly and professional. I wish I lived closer so I could use them regularly. The mechanic who helped me, John, and the owner, Edgar, are amazing people. We were camping locally and the day before we had to pull a camper all the way back home the fuel pump went out on our truck. This isn’t an easy fix because you have to remove the gas tank. Unfortunately this day was Saturday and we were stressed on how we were going to get a camper back home being our truck was down but luckily we found Wishes And they were gracious enough to stay after hours on a Saturday to get our truck going again.

Edgar and his wife are the nicest people Ive met. And theyre mechanic was great. I was stuck during the hurricane evacuation and needed a water pump in my car. They fixed it same day within two hours god bless these people!

My family and I broke down near the Lake City exit on Saturday a year ago. Luckily Wishes was open. They worked our vehicle in, and we were on our way within about a couple of hours. The staff was very knowledgeable, and the prices were fair even though we were from out of town. Awesome job, and thank you Wishes!

Stayed open late to replace our water pump and belt after we blew them out on I-10. That was 60,000 miles ago. They obviously did a great job. Very friendly and very nice people to deal with. Highly recommend them.

I had repair work done at another shop earlier and my vehicle still didnt drive as smooth as it should. A friend recommended Wishes from previous work he had done for him.Edgar and his crew have been awesome! He has suggested other repair work that needed to be done to my 2007 vehicle. Ive been taking my car from shop to shop with an electric issue that every shop would say they fixed This has been going on for years now .Took my car to wish and after years of wasted money and unsolved issues picked my car up and it was finally working again and at a great price. They took their time and checked everything to find the actual source off the problem .I definitely recommend them for good prices and good work.

I am very pleased with the work I have had done at Wishes. They get me in and out on a timely manner and keep me up to date on what is being done as well as things that I need to have done in the future.

Rented my U-Haul truck from them and she was very friendly and very nice and took good care us.

Our Yukon broke down 300+ miles away from home, we were originally towed to ronsonet Buick-gmc shop who could not fix our vehicle within 24 hours. We called WISHES and they made our wish come true! They recommended a tow truck company who would come get our truck and bring it to them and they immediately started working on our truck and got it running for us. We had 4 kids and 2 adults stranded and they did everything to get us back on the road. We are so impressed and thankful we were able to find these guys! Would give 10 stars if I could but would definitely recommend this shop to anyone in this area!!!!!!!

I would definitely recommend these guys and continue to use them for my car repairs. They tried very hard to get my AC working to find out that there is a more comprehensive Problem that has to be fixed first. He took the time to explain and didnt Charge me for the Labor. I will gladly go back to get any work done!!

They did a good job renting a uhaul to us. However the fuel was not correct. But they had no problem adjusting it.

I broke down on the side of i75 Friday night, February 8th. While waiting for a tow truck, I looked up mechanics close by with good ratings. Wishes had outstanding reviews and was open on Saturday, so I had the tow truck take me there. My husband had to drive down from Tallahassee to come get me and bring me back home. The next morning, I called as soon as Wishes opened. Edgar, the one in charge, diagnosed the problem and said he couldnt get the part he needed because all of the salvage yards were closed. He said he would call around first thing Monday morning and let me know. Fast forward to Monday, still no news. I called Edgar on my lunch break, and he admitted that he completely forgot to call the salvage yard. He called me back an hour later, claiming that there werent any salvage yards that had the part. He said I was better off buying a brand new part for $700 (compared to a $200-300 one from a salvage yard). I told him that wasnt an option for multiple reasons and that I would find the part here in Tallahassee. When I did find the part and called Edgar back, he said it was bogus and they didnt have the right part. Anyways, I did end up finding the right part for $300 in Tallahassee and hand delivered it to Wishes Auto the next Monday, February 18th (10 days later). When it was finally done, the lady at the desk charged me $178, while Edgar on the phone the week before told me it would be only $138. When I told the lady that, she had a terrible attitude and said I misunderstood him because he has a deep Colombian accent. At the end of the day, yes, Wishes fixed my truck. However, I did not feel that they tried their best to find the part needed for my truck for the best price and the lady at the counter was very rude. I would recommend another mechanic if in Lake City.

Wishes Auto is the best! I was traveling on I-75 and had a problem with the brakes on my truck. It was 4 pm on a Friday and they told me to come in and they would look at it. I needed major brake work. They got the parts immediately and stayed until 10:30 pm that night to fix it. Who does that these days? Wishes does! Many thanks to Edgar and crew for going above and beyond to get me back on the road.

I took my vehicle here 4 times within 2 months to fix an overheating issue. I understand cars can be difficult to diagnose. But, I feel like I just shelled out money on services that might have been the issue to my problem. When dealing with peoples wallets, I dont want a trial and error fix on my car. On one of my visits, their son was in charge and he quoted me on work their shop literally had done 2 weeks prior. Makes me not trust their mechanics. I would rather spend more money on the actual cause of my problem, then having to come back continuously spending money on maybe fixes. And ironically I got my oil changed at another shop a week later and was diagnosed with a water pump leak. Wishes Auto had looked at my vehicle less than a month earlier and didnt detect any leaks.

Got into a car crash and Im not the smartest when it comes to this so I called around and the most helpful was wishes.. I took my car there and I didnt have any hope to actually think that it could be fixed but not only did they restore my car to pretty much new they gave me a cheap rate and extremely fast work Gerbers told me Ill have to wait over 5 months but wishes only 2 weeks . Im extremely happy with thier work and thier professional work..

Words cannot express my gratitude. My daughter was on a road trip from Florida coming home when her car began to have issues late in the afternoon. We got her settled in a hotel and sent her to Wishes Auto the next day. They found that her issues were not near as severe as what had been told to her when she called a couple of other places the day before. They calmed her fears and took care of what NEEDED to be done. I want to thank Edgar, Cindy and the team at Wishes Auto. I was en-route to Tallahassee on Saturday when my car broke down and was towed to Wishes Auto. They diagnosed the problem and they were going to work on it first thing Monday morning, since they are closed on Sunday. After discussing my situation with them, they were so accommodating, they came in on Sunday to work on my car. Unbelievable, customer service that is!! This is a family owned business and they treated me like I was family. I am so thankful for all that they did and getting my car back on the road in such a short period of time.Thank you again, Edgar, Cindy and John!

They did an awesome job with my truck they told me what they were doing how much it would be and if there would be other charges. They have me the best price in town.

The worst of the worst. These guys will lie to your face and charge you 2 times what you expect without finishing the job. I had to have my car taken to another shop to be finished! Their own bank called me questioning the check I gave them asking me if I was sure I wanted to pay them! All I can say is BEWARE!

They asked for 650 to $700 just to paint a motorcycle tank. I can buy one brand new for $200 with the emblems already on. somrething is wrong with that picture sounds like gouging to me

I was visiting friends & family in Lake City in October when my brakes overheated at 10am on a Saturday morning.My plan was to be on the road back to Texas that evening.Took my car to the only shop that was even open and really lucked out that Wishes Auto Center owner Edgar is such an honest and professional mechanic. He and his chief mechanic did a full brake job for me at a fair price. Also they stayed over 3 hours past closing time on a Saturday to help me be able to keep my travel schedule, at no extra cost. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. Edgar sends his people to school to keep them current on all the latest repair updates and certifications. Took truck in for a radiator leak and breaks pulling to the right, only wanted that repair taken care of, They called and said it was ready, I asked the price and was informer that they did way more work on the vehicle than I had asked for and never called me to ok the work that ended up costing me hundreds of dollars, told them they should have called me to ok the work but he just gave em the run around!If you let them work on your vehicle make sure they contact you before doing the work and only allow them to do the work that you ask them to do

Guy inside today was pretty rude and wouldnt give me a estimate on a repair because its just a waste of his time...*reply to owner*If youd like to recall I walked in, waited about 10 minutes for you to finish a phone call to order some part for someoneYou asked what I needed.I explained i need a estimate for damage caused by a bit and run.You explained that people like me never actually get the work done and that it be a waste of your time and resources since I wasnt going to give you amy businessand explained the only way youd do it is if Id pay you $50 instead since I wasnt coming back.You never asked if Id have you also do the repair, you just assumed,You were short, rude and in no way caring about a potential customer.You saw me as a waste of time immediately.Its ok however, because Ford s auto did it instead,.

Pricey but a very good mechanic!

My boyfriend and I were driving to Atlanta from tampa and his car began having some issues. We instantly took to google to find a shop to have the car towed to. Edgar was so nice on the phone and was very helpful! We left the car overnight and Edgar made us a priority in the morning. Unfortunately the car needed lots of parts and work- but Edgar quoted us a fair price and was beyond accommodating to our situation! We picked up his car on the way from atlanta back to tampa. They stayed open late to make sure his car was ready. He was able to drive it back home with no issues! I can not thank Edgar and the fine people of wishes auto shop enough! Wish he were closer!!!! Awesome honest man!!!!!!
