I am going on month four without my title and tag. Unfortunately, I read about the reviews on this place too late. Ive called four or five times begging to receive my tag. They only give me the run around. This last time I called a rep named Lamar literally hung up on me and refused to transfer me to another representative or to the manager, who I originally asked to talk to in the first place. I called back a few times because what am I going to do? Park my new car in my driveway and never be able to legally drive it. Lamar kept answering only to hang up. Itd be easier for me to drive the car back to Florida than it seems it would to get my proper tag and title from them at this point.

Super happy with the total experience of purchasing my new car from Avis! Andre assisted me- he was warm and welcoming, no-pressure sales and I felt genuinely cared for. He allowed me to explore all options on my own until I found the right fit for me. The general manager Dave also assisted in the final details of our agreement and made sure I was satisfied with the deal. Highly recommend to anyone!

WE LOVE this place! We originally were going to another dealership down the road but after the 4th trip, we drove by and saw Avis Car Sales and saw a couple vehicles we were looking at on their lot. We worked with Buddy Bryant, he was really great to work with! The whole staff are pretty awesome and laid back here. This place makes car buying a breeze! No crazy haggling or back and forth car buying stress. Just straight to the point! We drove away with a Jeep Compass Trail hawk for a better deal than we would’ve gotten at another dealership! It was super clean inside, runs great, and still have had no issues at all and we’ve had it for a year now. We’ve referred family and friends here, and are now purchasing our second vehicle here! This is a reputable place you can trust.

We saw a great priced car online. I called Lamar next day to see if it’s still available. He said yes and we drove to Avis. Lamar let me test drive the car and in addition let me have my mechanic check the car. By the way I ask him to send me an email to show me the out the door price and it was emailed to me while I was sitting talking to Lamar. talk about fast! We decided to get the car and we have a cashiers check to pay for the car. We advised Lamar that we will be back tomorrow to buy the car.All he ask was insurance and who will be on the title. We came back next day and we were done in under 10 minutes. He prepared all the papers. The only reason it took longer is because he was making copies for my record. I will never buy a car from a dealership. This was absolutely zero stress. Not an intimidating experience. No sales pressure. Thank you Lamar, you also made my mom very happy.

I went to Avis Car Sales on Atlantic Blvd in Jacksonville, FL and Armando took really good care of me! He was able to give me exactly what I wanted at the price I wanted. No sales gimmicks like other dealers. I was highly impressed with my experience! Next time I’m in the market for a new car I’ll definitely be returning to Avis with hopes of Armando still being there!

Helpful and accommodating staff. Lamar did a great job locating and letting me test drive different vehicles as well as putting the final paperwork and explaining the different fees. John, the manager was instrumental in retrieving the vehicle I would eventually purchase, which the regional manager had taken (he wasnt happy he had to come back). The car was washed and cleaned and ready to go. Do be ready to purchase mats as these seem to be stripped from all vehicles.

Mr. Aundrea was great. They were really busy when I arrived, and he still managed to introduce himself and help me. They were really patient, and honest. Would definitely recommend I over other car lots. They were personable, and not pushy or rude like other places Ive visited.

Do Not buy a car from this dealership unless you want it to sit in your driveway with no tag. I bought a SUV from the Avis Car Sales in Jacksonville Florida May 12th and still cannot get a tag. No tag on my new vehicle and Avis continues to give me the run around. Called the Avis Corporate and still received the run around so I now have a new vehicle that just sits in driveway. Incompetence and poor customer service from this dealership. Hope this review helps save someone from making the same mistake I did. Over 2 months and they can’t get paperwork completed for a tag. Stay Away!!!

Went to this place looking at a car I found on car guru. I was met by a man named Andre. Maybe thats spelled right. Any way he took my info, got me to test drive the car. Still wasnt sure what to do, so i told him Id be back on a Wednesday, this was Monday. Well Wednesday came and I was to busy to make it. I ended up going Thursday, he was very very polite and accommodating. Let me test drive the car again, and a different car. All the while he worked with me listened to my questions, and reassured me of everything . I ended up getting the car and Andre walked me through everything. I honestly couldnt of asked for a better place or person to help me family through the tough decision of buying a car. As well as the manager and the guy who helped finalize everything at the end. This place truly has a wonderful staff that makes you feel at home and at ease. Thank yall so much for helping my family and I purchase our car.

Hands down the safest cars, and probably the cheapest around, to get. Got a 2020 Toyta Camry, all thanks to Mr. Padgett for being the representative that worked with me. If youre looking for used cars, highly suggest looking here as well, very few locations can match how low these guys with their prices, and with generally better service history for their cars, its hard to find the same cars cheaper, and with less damage.

Thie location refuses to return my phone calls or emails trying to get a title issues resolved since April... Elizabeth is never in the office, and the person who answers the phone thinks its a joke every time i call. they are now ignoring my phone calls and emails trying to get this resolved.

We got a great deal, if you go to a dealer, and buy a used car, ask where the car came from, more than likely it was a rental, save money and shop here. Every type of vehicle is on their lot, most are about half price of a new one, and have been very well taken care of.Look around, take your time and get something.

This dealership has great prices, better than we have seen at other places which is why we decided to buy a vehicle from them and we live an hour away. However I would never want to purchase a vehicle from them again for the fact of our purchase date was 2/8/2021 and it is now 6/7/2021 and our tile, tag and registration has not gone through yet. This is almost 4 months since we bought the vehicle and we have had to get temporary tags from Georgia and Florida but now we have reached the limit so we can not get any more temp tags and our temp tag expires on the 11th of this month and all we have gotten was the run around from avis. We were told to send our original title from the car that we traded in and we did and avis informed us that it was delivered to them but then they lost it.....seriously...... So we have put in like 4 or more claims to the avis claims department and still nothing. I told my family members about avis when we first purchased our vehicle, letting them know what great deals they had but I should have never done that because I would never want to purchase from them again. so we are still waiting for avis to get this taken care of....... So would i recommend avis car sales........no absolutely not. I do not like writing bad reviews but this one is needed.

So back in November 2020 I was looking for a new car and read some reviews of this place which sounded good but boy was I wrong. So I was looking for at a Ford EchoSport they had on the lot and the sales guy was like you want to test drive so I was like sure! Tried to turn on the car and it wouldnt turn on. About 30-45 mins later they finally were able to get it going. I put the car in drive and moved literally about a foot and the car shut off. They were able to jump start the battery and I was able to test drive the car while seeing a warning alert in the dash that said that the battery was low. Not all functions of the vehicle could work since the battery wasnt good.Even against my better judgment I really liked the car so when we brought it back from the test drive I told the guy if they could put a new battery then I would still be interested in the vehicle. They took me took the back to talk numbers and I already had a VyStar draft check ready to go for payment. I pull out the check when the guy asked how we would be paying and he said they dont accept draft checks (which wasnt true). The manager I guess is hearing the conversation and is like we do accept them but choose not to because when we mail the draft checks to corporate for payment they get lost. What kind of company is this? Forcing people to use their financing options when it is no fault of the customer for your companys issues.I should have ran away the minute the car wasnt starting. Needless to say there was no sale at this establishment and a couple of days later I went to Arlington Toyota where they were not only very professional and welcoming but guess what? My VyStar draft check was accepted with open arms for payment with no issues.Stay away from Avis!!!!

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Lamar & Duncan at Avis Car Sales (on Atlantic)! Lamar was my salesman... but just after a few moments, I quickly realized he’s way more than just a salesman!! Lamar listened to my needs & wants for a new car. My 1st visit he knew I was just looking and I felt no pressure at all. My 2nd visit was super short because I had something in mind...however I wound up not liking it. My 3rd visit was the WINNER! I bought a car from this dealership 6 months and they still have not processed the title. I was told to contact corporate because they do not handle these issues. I have given corporate 5 or 6 calls over the last 6 months and keep getting told the same thing: I’ve sent your issue to my supervisor and they will look into for you. Refrain from buying a car from Avis unless you like driving without a tag for half a year.

I really wish I could give them a ZERO. When I first bought my car they tried to slip in extras without my knowledge. When I pointed it out lied and said that they are standard. To make matters worse I am still waiting on my tag. I bought my car 6 months ago. Temporary tag is expired and my complex is trying to tow my car and they don’t care at all. Listen please do not buy a car from here unless you want to waste money

Bought my first car here today. I worked with Keyo and Lamar throughout the entire process- test driving, choosing a car, financing etc. The employees here are definitely not your average car salesmen. They are genuine, charismatic and definitely will give you an honest/valid opinion when narrowing down vehicles. I didn’t get the feeling that they were trying to make a sale right then and there. Good prices but slow buying processesAvis doesnt accept personal check or cash so I had to finance, which added an hour delay. They also require getting insurance confirmation on the spot, which added another hour. All cars 1 or 2 years old.

Beware of this car dealership, they will make up any lie they can think of about their cars to make a sale! They will also try to force you to use a new plate instead of transferring your previous license plate because they make money off of that new tag transaction. Avoid like the plague!

I set up a test drive for a Tahoe I want .I drove to the Avis rental car place to pick the truck up the truck was not there mind you I stay nowhere near this Avis location no one called me and told me that the truck would not be there the sales man was very unprofessional I left a voicemail on his phone he never called back So I called again on Monday morning and he picked up mind you he never called back very unprofessional company zero stars for me I am very unsatisfied guess I will continue to do business with Chevy !!!
