Went in on a whim while in town for the weekend and Luke was able to get me in the following day. Communicated well and was very accommodating. Didnt take as long as he anticipated it would and the quality was great. Highly recommend.

Absolutely top notch place, always a comfortable vibe with all the artists and the atmosphere! Very reasonable prices and scheduling. Luke was awesome. My sister and I walked in for some small tattoos, and he was super accommodating and welcoming. He did a great job; exactly what we wanted. I would definitely recommend this place!

My gf and I went for a tattoo and got there a few minutes before they opened on accident, so we waited outside. They gave us both a free coffee and took 20 bucks off the tattoo for waiting. Everyone there was very friendly and the entire experience was very positive. I would highly recommend going here (and the connected coffee shop) to anyone.Also they have great coffee, and great taste in music and cinema.

Don is literally the best piercer ever ! I was so comfortable my nipple rings didnt even hurt one bit ! I cant wait to come back !!

I went in today and got my Medusa pierced. I arrived before the piercer was scheduled to be there but the time difference wasnt too crazy so I waited with a friend that came with me. In the time I waited two tattoo artists apologized for my wait multiple times and were super friendly. One artist, I didnt catch his name, offered to get the paperwork set up and everything ready that way when Erin got there we could get it going. When Erin arrived she apologized for the wait and was super friendly and polite. The process took maybe 10 minutes. Everyone was awesome. Really professional, super nice. On my way out I spoke to Justin about doing some tattoos and I look forward to going back next month and having him do tattoos for my husband and me. (:

I stopped in after calling hours prior to confirm I could do a walk-in for a tattoo. When I had called, the guy who answered said to come by and that appointments aren’t made over the phone. I was very clear that I had a design already in mind and that I wanted it done today. The guy said first come first serve which to me, implies I could have it done, especially when the hours documented here on google are until 1am.I went in and spoke to Paul. He said he was a guest artist which was fine, of course. But then upon showing and explaining to him my design which was simple, about 4” and did have color and was going to be for matching tattoos with my husband, he promoted to tell me I had to schedule an appointment and that it’d be $300 a piece. You’ve got to be kidding me! That’s overpriced 100%!I went to a 5 star shop close by and am now scheduled for my husband her tattoos for $300 TOGETHER!Just walking in and being given such an overpriced quote has turned me off from wanting to come back for future business.

Marin did my nostril piercing & was amazing ! She was super sweet and professional, she even gave me her bag of chips cause i was feeling dizzy after😂 10/10 recommend going to her !

Justin did an amazing job with my sister & Is matching tattoos! We were both getting hearts in our moms handwriting & Justins dedication to making our tattoos identical to the original piece by my mom meant a lot to me. This was our first tattoo experience & I never once felt nervous or confused from the moment I entered the shop. Everyone there made us feel very welcomed & comfortable. I will definitely be back for my next ink!

We ran in spur of the moment and the owner treated us as though it was no big deal and it felt like people bent over backwards to get us in and the work done even though we just walked in. Everyone here was so nice and the atmosphere was super fun. I love this shop and cant wait to go back.

This place has become my favorite place to visit. Some moms enjoy spas, not this one, this place has become my spa! I showed up originally as a walk-in, and if you know tattoo shops, they don’t take kind to the dreadful walk-in, they took not only myself but a friend in and got us tattooed right away. I met Chris my first visit and now consider him “my tattoo artist”, I have personally been tattooed by him 11 times in the past year. His cards are carried in my purse and given out everywhere! If you’re considering a new tattoo, go check em’ out, you will be glad you did!

I walked in yesterday with my sister and best friend to get a very small memorial tattoo for my other sister, who was killed by a drunk driver in November 2018. I was extremely nervous, as I had never gotten a tattoo before (and truthfully never would have if I didnt want to have a daily reminder of my sisters love now that shes gone.) Justin gave me a tattoo that was tasteful, meaningful, and brings me joy to look at. He was kind and friendly and patient with me as I worked to make sure the tattoo was exactly right. Thank you, Justin!!

This shop has great atmosphere in it! Justin did such a great job on a traditional Jason’s mask and machete piece on me. I couldn’t ask for a better piece. Anyone who goes to this shop should check out Justin’s work!

The best tattoo artist there!!! We had Chris, he was very professional, sanitary with his equipment and funny. He did 3 different tattoos on my family members and all of them turned out fabulous. We have definitely found our new tattoo artist and shop. Just for the record all of the artist are GREAT, just look at the reviews!!!

The artist (Ray) made me very comfortable. This was my first tattoo, also got my second one at the same time. Very friendly atmosphere, everyone there was very helpful. I highly recommend The Riverside Social to anyone wanting a tat.

I have posted about this place before but apparently they deleted my comment. They are unprofessional, did my friends septum crooked and infected a piercing of mine that hasn’t been infected for years. I cannot express how terrible our experience was.

Very pleased with work Don did. I’m from out of town (NC) and wanted to get old tattoo touched up. Walked in no appointment and was greeted and told could get done. Turn out is way better than I imagined it would look like and looks awesome.

Walked in with a group this past Saturday, a couple of us got tattoos and some got piercings. Everyone was professional and awesome! Clean atmosphere and all of us (6 total) left very happy with the work done and experience. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic - Every dude in here has been awesome, they have done great work on me and my wife and offered free touch ups. They even put up with you if you have a couple dranks first (not ideal in the tattoo industry, but come on) anyways - HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Made an appointment online. Showed up about five minutes before appointment time. Signs that open but the doors are locked. Waited till quarter after from my appointment time. No one contact me that they were not open our this was not a good appointment

I walked in off the street with vague directions as to what I wanted and left three hours later with a fantastic peice of art! Justin did an absolutely amazing job and really impressed me with his attention to detail and first class line work. This is the first tattoo ive gotten in ten years and i will 100% be coming back soon to get more work done. I highly reccomend this place to anyone who really wants something special.

I never leave google reviews (busy af making movies), but justin did a great job capturing a don hertzfeldt animation on my arm. he quoted me a fair price, did fantastic work, and i was in an out in under an hour on a walk-in. were filming oceans 14 in jax next june, definitely coming back to riverside social for more ink. cheadle out.

I was terrified of getting my nose pierced. The process was painless. Nice, clean & reasonably priced.

Not a good place for piercings. The guy did my piercing crooked and Had an attitude. I had to take it out and heal it, so I just wasted my money.

Ive thought long and hard about giving this review but, in the end, I think its only fair to make people (including the owner(s)) aware with the hope that a change will be made.I am giving two stars because the work I had done is actually decent. The experience, however, left a really bad taste in my mouth and I cant shake it.As I was on the table getting my tattoo I looked up to see blackface figurines accompanied by a Confederate flag. I totally get that the Confederate flag is widely viewed as a southern pride thing in Florida. Had it been the flag alone, I honestly wouldnt have thought twice about it. However, the fact that the flag was accompanied by the black faced figurines was really unnerving. I turned my head to stare at the other wall so that I could try to escape the thoughts of being unwelcomed/hated because of my skin color, only to see a horned devilish depiction of former President Obama.Had I not already been on the table, I would have left but instead I laid there thinking, holy hell! I hope these people dont hate blacks enough that they would a) mess up my tat or b) inject me with some kind of infection. I know that sounds extreme but those were my honest thoughts.Im not writing this to ruin anybodys business. In fact, Im writing it to give the business the opportunity to rectify it. Im sure that artists have liberty to decorate their stations at they please and I agree with that but you should know that these particular decorations are offensive. If you didnt know before, you do now.To potential customers, just know that this sucked for me and my daughter. If you find these things offensive as well, you may want to reconsider.

Miles did my first ever tattoo and did a amazing job.

Did not like the fact that they only take cash. They were all high as a kite and only cared about the food that came in. When we first got there, there was 3 people right outside the door smoking and talking. Found out that all 3 worked there but didnt acknowledge us....

Don Goense is the guy we go to for all our ink. Hes very creative and very accommodating.

I had a terrible experience here. I went in simply to get a semicolon on my wrist and the owner did it. He talked on his phone the entire time and his friend stood in the room waiting on him to finish so they could go out. My tattoo is not shaded correctly and looks awful. First time here was a bad experience and VERY disappointing.
