Dash has a very great selection of coffee. I always get their Nawlins cold brew. It is a sweet iced drink while still having the coffee taste to it, and is made perfectly every time I come here. This location is a nice spot to relax, study, and talk with others. It is a very open spot, and has a lot of room.

I love this place! Excellent food, drinks and service. Perfect coffee shop setting. Only suggestion is to turn up the heat on these very cold days as it was freezing in there today. Very touched that they gave me my drink for free for my birthday!

Nice, friendly, welcoming staff. I was greeted with smiles and felt at home when I walked in. The food and drinks were delicious. The seats were comfortable and relaxing, its a perfect spot for breakfast and lunch dates, or to study. I would come here again for sure!

The pastries and coffee are delicious and worth ordering. I was disappointed in the avocado toast though. It was $5 for a piece of what looked like sandwich bread, avocado, cucumber, and carrot with little seasoning. Other places have much better avocado toast. I recommend getting a savory pastry from here instead.

My chai latte was delicious, but my scone had no flavor. I was also amazed by the number of people dining inside (no masks or distancing!!). Will probably not be returning.

Loving the single origin espresso & hear good things about cold brew, however as other reviewers suggest its quite loud in a concrete box... perhaps sound baffles in the form of local art would dampen the bounce of noise!

Great coffee, a wide variety of beans to choose from, the staff is friendly and the baristas know the drill. They have only been open for 10 days and they are already killing it. I highly recommend stopping here for a pour over or espresso (which is served with a malted milk ball... hell yes)

Very nice inside, modern rustic look, plenty of seating available, perfect to do some work or have a meeting with friends. Not the best atmos for reading, the seating is mainly tables and it can get crowded and a bit loud inside. The coffee is delicious and the breakfast sandwiches are tasty. Prices are on the high end and the service is good. The bathrooms are clean.

Our coffees was good; the almond croissant as well.. It took a while. Choice in sizes was limited. Few indoor clients wore masks when walking around. We took our coffees outside, as it was a nice Fall day.

Got tea, the barista didnt seem to have a very knowledgeable or workable understanding of how to ice tea that is initially hot. Quite a simple thing, I had to explain it. Tea was good though, coffee was OUTSTANDING.

My new favorite spot! So happy to have an Iowa City location! I knew I loved the cappuccino and lattes but recently tried the mango turmeric protein smoothie and WOW was it amazing! Ive also had their breakfast sandwiches and honestly didnt expect much but I was SO impressed with the quality and flavor of ingredients. The staff is always so welcoming and fun too! Great place. Coffee for coffee snobs. Great beans, locally roasted. Beans are always super fresh. I dunno about their brew temps though... I usually prefer a low temp brew - but they go pretty low on the temp(160-165?)... makes actual drinking temp a bit too cool for my taste.

I had the classy latte with skim and I have to say it was absolutely delicious and made to perfection. The staff were all knowledgeable of the menu and were able to help me figure out what to order. The atmosphere was also very friendly and lively. The open design and large amounts of natural light coming in also made it feel very uplifting and relaxing. I highly suggest everyone stop in and give this place a try.

The food is extremely expensive for what you get. My friend got one of the specials: one slice of toast topped with some avocado, thin thinly sliced cucumbers and some grated carrot... $5.00. Pastries such as cookies were $3.50 each. Coffee/espresso drinks were around 5:00 and about the size of a tall Starbucks. So, yeah... little pricey.Although its a beautiful place with large windows and lots of natural light, it is very loud and echoey. I was there around 10:15am. Lots if college students. I really liked the staff. They were nice and very helpful.

I am fairly new to Iowa City and have been trying out different coffee shops. This is my favorite so far, amazing taste with a modern coffee shop feel.

Delicious Cold Brew, Eric is a superb barista, professional, Knowledgeable, and friendly. The place is impeccably clean, so unlike other coffeehouses around town, you dont feel as if you need to shower once you leave. The only issue is the noise volume, even with just a few guests in the store the noise volume getting unbearably loud. But from what I understand the owners are going over ideas to mitigate the noise. So until that happens I rate it 4 of 5 stars.

They serve homemade chai and homemade syrups. Who does that? Dash does! They offer oat milk which is is rare. They are passionate about their products. Bravo to Phil, Becca, Michael and team.

The capuchinos were good, the espresso was ok. Unfortunately they did not know what annisette or sambucca were.

Would like to see more brew varieties. Daily there is usually only one brew grain: Medium. Have asked several times for dark roast or only to be met by one defaulted bean flavor.

My second favorite coffee shop in downtown Iowa City. Great coffee, great presentation (love that you get a chocolate and sparkling water with a cortado).

This is probably my favorite place to read. Theres a lot of light, and they play the music just loud enough to drown out the sound of other peoples conversation. But not too loud. Everybody who works there is friendly, and the coffee is excellent.
