Im completely in love with this place. It was my first time in. My best friend has shopped there before. They have an AMAZING selection of just about anything for home decor. And last but not least everyone there was so helpful and friendly. I am definitely going to be giving them a lot of my money.

Terrible customer service. The people here judge you off of what you look. We came in willing to spend $$$, walked in, no greeting. No help, no questions. Nothing. The people who came in before and after us were greeted several times and asked what they were looking for and if they had been to the store before.I recommend you train your staff to treat everyone with the same customer service. I only write this review because my husband and I were appalled of the stark treatment of service in front of our face.

Dropped items off to sell months ago. They sold my items, never notified me, and they never posted the sale to my account. When I tried to collect the money they told me that the check was expired and they couldn’t make a new one. Left empty handed and feeing robbed. Will be selling my items on Facebook in the future.

This is a seriously gorgeous store. Its welcoming and inviting upon arrival and the layout is great. These items are high quality and I can tell they accept nothing less. This is my new go-to spot for everything - from beautiful furniture to timeless decor.I also appreciate their selection of paints for my DIY projects. They have a LOT of colors to choose from and a whole room of project pieces to look through. The candle line they carry is also a huge plus.Friendly family owned business and beautiful pieces. Whats better?

Was visiting Indiana, hit up many shops and this was one of the best. Fantastic prices, great furniture and interesting odds and ends. Very friendly, helpful woman at the register. A must to visit if you are in the area. I bought an Irish Santa.

08/05/20-Purchased two tufted back chairs, appearance nice, decent fabric. Sat on briefly in store. Priced @ 2 for 199.00-Got home after seating in them for 15 mins, cushion is defective. Feels like youre sitting on the wood frame. These people stand behind all sales are final. All sales are final after a regular customer is satisfied. DIsappointed with the lack of customer service. They never even returned my call or website message. 08/15/20 5:30pm After speaking with the owner, whom wanted to argue me down, final result...ALL SALES FINAL :(

We recently moved into a new home. Consign by Design has beautiful furniture, large mirrors, pictures, lamps, accent pieces and so much more. The owner and everyone that works there are helpful and creative. Many of our favorite large furniture, chairs, lamps, accent pieces along with a stunning entry way console were purchased at Consign by Design. The wonderful staff and variety of furnishings have made it our first stop when shopping for anything we need to decorate our new home. Its our favorite furniture store. They are outstanding and deserve 5 stars.

Excellent selection of quality furniture, good prices. Would have given 5 stars, but I cant tell you how many times Ive walked in there and been looked down upon like I was some low class individual and then walked out spending hundreds of dollars. Your staff should treat everyone with respect.

Stopped in today after many visits over the years. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The owners personally greeted me at the door and expressed how thankful they were that I visited.They have a great selection of furniture, art, rugs, and DIY pieces. Everything I found is fairly priced, although, most items are price well below what I would spend at any of their competitors (new or consignment.)This is absolutely the best furniture store in the Indianapolis area! Don’t stop at furniture though. If you need wall art, rugs, light fixtures, or most anything home decor related, this is your one stop shop!

This place is awesome! They have so many items and its constantly changing so you never know what you will find when you visit. The prices are very affordable and change depending how long they have had an item in the store. The customer service is very welcoming and its always a pleasure to visit. Dont forget to grab a bag of free popcorn and enjoy all the interesting items they have for sale.

Best Consignment store ever. I always see new and different pieces every time I stop by. Its out of my way but always find a way to get there if Im even 5 miles away. Staff has always been helpful and very friendly. I really enjoy this store, just wish it was closer but well worth the drive!

If I could give them 0 starts I would have. Ill never shop at this place again. I followed their instructions to secure an item I was interested in that was dropping in price. All you have to do is just add it to your cart online at 12:01AM the night before. That will hold it for you and you can come in the next day at 10AM and finalize everything. Do I buy it online?No just add it to your cart. Easy enough. So I added it to my cart at 12:01AM and was there the next day to finalize everything and pick it up. They sold it out from underneath me. Apparently all you have to do isnt just add it to your cart. You have to click thru checkout and submit a form. Its not even the miscommunication that angers me the most. Its the attitude about it after I felt like I just got screwed. Have you ever purchased anything online before? was the question I was asked. Yeah Susan. I have. Heres a question for you. Do you know where Ill never purchase anything ever again? ... Dont shop here folks.

We have bought several pieces of furniture for 2 homes. Each piece has been enjoyed and used. The pieces that we chose were a combinationof handmade pieces and re-sale pieces that were quality items.Also have found the people who work there to be helpful w/o beingover-bearing . We both look frequently and do not always purchasesomething. We have been happy with all selections weve made so far!

Love, Love, Love Consigned by Design!!!! Our favorite (my husband always finds something special every time he visits) and THE best consignment store we have found in both Indiana and Ohio. We have found so many unique and interesting pieces for our lake house - all great quality - and have been very happy with what our items have sold for there. Great place to buy and sell!

They have a lot of furniture...but NOT great prices. Recently had an issue with buying something when it was marked down. Poor communication from their staff resulted in me not getting the merchandise. Sadly they took no responsibility for the lack of communication. Basically their attitude is it’s all your fault and not our problem. Buyer beware of prices that are higher than other traditional furniture stores in town and if there is a problem, it’s all your fault. Zero customer service. I am familiar with the consignment by design shops in Avon and Plainfield. Great experiences from these locations.NOT this location.

I saw a couple of stools the other day snd they had just come in and were not priced. I have two at home like them snd wanted REI more. So I called this morning and spoke with a young man, who was very polite, and purchased them over the phone. When I picked them up today the young lady who assisted me was just as polite. I have an enjoyable experience every time I come into the store. Thank you!

You can get nice accent pieces, however if you need to buy large pieces, have your own transportation. Also large pieces may run comparable prices to some furniture stores.Do not, do not use the contractor they may recommend for transportation, Mr something or the other.

Got a brand new sectional for well over half the price of new! Owner delivered same-day. Very nice

I have been in this store many times and I agree they have a good selection of different and up to date items, however it has become much like a regular furniture store as far as prices as other reviews say. Closeouts they buy from furniture stores are sold at same prices as store. Bought a nice sectional sofa from them recently and throw pillows that you could tell came with the sofa they had priced at $24 each and did not include them in price of sofa! Sofa was retail price also. Again, consignment denotes discount from retail. Not so here. Lots of competition out there in consignment stores. New ones popping up every week.

What a great store! They always have a great selection of high end but low wear and affordably priced goods. My wife and I have purchased bar stools, a loveseat, and a bookshelf from and 2 years in theyve all still held up quite well. This is the first place id go if you youre just looking for single furnishings, i.e. need pair of barstools but not re-doing your entire kitchen.

I want to get a home and fill it with everything!

Be careful bringing your furniture here. My items were stuck in the corner and filled with so much stuff on it you couldnt really see the item. It is also priced high because the store gets 50% plus a 25 dollar fee to put it on the floor. When my item didnt sell, I asked friends/family if they knew anyone who wanted to buy it. The contract says I could pick up my item anytime and remove it from the store. Duh...it is my furniture. Well when I did that and gave it to the person who told me they wanted it and came there to pick it up I was treated so poorly. The owner and another worker at the store yelled out the door and told me I could no longer consign there because I used their facilities. Yes, I did. I gave them the fee to do so and if they would have sold the item they had for approx. a month they would have received $350+.
