Every time​ I come here, theres something new and fun! I absolutely love the flavors, definitely​ worth trying each one when you get the chance. My personal favorite is the frosted flakes! It really tastes just like milk and cereal! Whenever its not on display, I go straight for the sea salt caramel or cookies & cream. For this month, the seasonal pumpkin spice is at the top of my list. Gelato is also healthier and contains less fat compared to regular ice cream, a win-win situation if you ask me! The flavors are simply indescribable, just something you would have to experience for yourself!

Service is wonderful! I went to the kiosk with my husband and I tried a new flavor. I normally stick to vanilla, but the nice employee had me sample other flavors to expand my horizon. Frosted flakes flavor was amazing. Tasted just like the cereal! I cant wait to go back and taste the new flavors that are coming out soon.

Very good desserts for decent prices inside Kahala mall. Service is good and friendly. You can try samples to see if you like it and they are all hand made. Good location and the mall has lots of parking nearby.

This place made me break my diet and I loved every bite of it. The ice cream is homemade and delicious. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. You can save money by ordering a regular cup of ice cream instead of the advertised special.

Great selection of gelato(not number but quality). Makes a perfect after dinner spot to check out as you make your way back to the car. Stays open later than most shops in the mall. Havent had a chance to try the breakfast plates but they look appetizing. Takes both cash and card.

I remember taking my 7 year old son for a Gelato treat and than we moved to mainland. Today we had Gelato at Kahala mall and it was as good as we remembered. My son is now 27!

Terrible favors and bad customer service

The gelato is so exquisite its my ultimate favorite out of anywhere on this island. The flavors are so unique and the sorbet is so light and airy. The service is hands on with smiles on their face :)

Me and my boyfriend always pass by this place and one day decided to try it. The girl that helped us was really nice and suggested the fresh fruits one which were fantastic! The gelato was great and so was the service.

Il Gelato is a must when you go to Kahala Mall! Workers are always super friendly! I get my usual a large mocha frappe and two scoops of gelato. I usually order Hawaiian Sea salt caramel and dark chocolate and ask for two oreo cookie toppings. Workers are always consistent and are super quick to get my order in and overall they have great customer service! Definitely recommend.

Il Gelato - BRAVO !!!! BRAVO !!! BRAVO !!!!!Not being the biggest ice cream eater, I fell in love with what I used to call ice cream and what they cal “Gelato” at “Il Gelato Hawaii” on Oahu. I first tried it when strolling the little shopping complex in Haleiwa and have to say: all you guys who are still on shaved ice and other ice-cream brands, give it a shot and you will not regret it !! Try “Il Gelato Hawaii” They have outlets in Haleiwa, the Kahala Mall and in Pearl Harbour.It’s of course a matter of taste, but their “Affogato” and the “Tiramisu” gelato are to die for, and not to forget, their cappuccino (they use Illy Cafe) are THE BEST anywhere on Oahu. And last but not least their friendly staff made Il Gelato Hawaii an unforgettable experience for us.

Kiosk is located near the main fountain. I love grabbing a coffee before work or a scoop of gelato after the movies! I recently visited the kiosk, and they mentioned that they are coming out with some new flavors! Workers there are always kind. Be sure to ask for a stamp card. After 10 stamps from gelato or coffee, you can get a free scoop or coffee!

Italian soda is made with syrup and came of Seltzers water. Gelato is pretty good - Id stick to the fruity flavors as opposed to the sweeter ones. Salad and panini were both mediocre. Service was awesome though.

Much better customer service than Haleiwa! Girls at Haleiwa are very messy looking and have unprofessional attitudes! Plus wait time is longer there. Kahala is wonderful....no complaints!!!

About time a do a review because Ive been going here for the longest time ever. I really love place! Nice spot for gelato, acai bowls, some 10/10 coffee, and food. I mostly go here for coffee and scoops. The brand they use is Illy, which is super good (I worked at Starbucks for a bit, and I can promise you it outranks them by far.) The gelato is super yummy too! I like that they have different flavours of the month, so it gives you a good reason to come back and see what they got. Everything is all made with local ingredients on island, so its a nice change from everything else. All of the servers there are incredibly friendly and wonderful people to talk to as well. The bar has seating too, so if you need a place to sit while you kill time, or are doing homework, or just wanna chill and enjoy something yummy, you dont have to fight for tables in the mall. If you ever pass through, Id recommend stopping by and picking something up!

This is the best gelato on this side of the island. Its creamy and delicious, and the flavors are wonderful. My fav is the chocolate - hazelnut. Yum. Better than Via Gelato in Kaimuki.

IL Gelato is a great place to indulge in, whether it be their variety of Paninis, coffee, (famous) gelato, crepes, acas bowls,or their tasty smoothies. However, my favorite item from their place would be their ILY coffee, they undoubtedly cater their coffee to perfection. The workers will always please when making their drinks, my favorite coffee would be their soy milk latte with two pumps of vanilla, this one is definitely worth your money. I highly recommend this place to all coffee lovers, the truly do upkeep their coffee to the traditional Italian way.

I absolutely LOVE this adorable gelato shop in the heart of Kahala Mall. It is so quaint and cute. Its the perfect location for a nice stop for a delectable treat on any day. My favorite item has to be the affogato supremo with a scoop of Hawaiian Sea Salt Caramel gelato and another scoop of Kona Coffee gelato. TWO gelato scoops AND TWO espresso shots with whipped cream AND chocolate shavings, yummmm! Its like heaven on earth. :) I highly recommend trying everything on their menu from the paninis with the homemade focaccia bread to the macaron sandwiches. You will NOT be disappointed with not only the quality of the product, but the friendly and super sweet staff. I love IL Gelato!!! :D

The staff here is absolutely amazing! Fast, friendly, and always on it. The basilico Panini is just straight addictive too! However, id have to say my favourite thing about il gelato is the siesta vibe, counter seating lets me just sit down and enjoy my Panini and Gelato without the hassle of looking for a table.

Nice setting, but service is uneven and the last time I ordered a scone, it was raw-doughy inside. but, still - the gelato is great!

Located in the middle of the mall, Il Gelato is such a nice treat when Im escaping the sun outside.They have a range of flavors every day, including my favorites Sea Salted Caramel, Macadamia Nut and Strawberry Lemonade.I love coming here for waffles and crepes too. Such good portion sizes for so cheap. The nutella, banana and strawberries is my absolute favourite!I also love their Illy coffee. I cant believe people will stand in line for 20mins at Starbucks for crappy coffee when youve got the worlds best coffee mere steps away at Il Gelato.The customer service is great too - such friendly faces and they let you sample the gelato before you buy!10/10 would recommend

Il Gelato honestly has the best gelato in town. If you are a coffee person, I’d recommend the affogato. This is a scoop of gelato with a double shot espresso. They use their Illy espresso, so it is better than delicious.If you’re not too into coffee, I’d recommend a rootbeer float. It is just like a regular rootbeer float...but SO MUCH BETTER because they use their ABSOLUTELY AMAZING tahitian vanilla gelato.If you’re not sold yet, I’ll need you to try their scones. They’re homemade and then toasted in the kiosk after you buy them. Have it with butter. You will not regret it.5 Stars!!

Super friendly and attentive staff. Good prices. The Genini Deli panini was exquisite, and the ice cream better! If you are undecided, they make you try different tastes to help you decide. I ended up ordering strawberry lemonade, chocolate dipped strawberry and be salted caramel, without waste! 👌 Im going back for the crepes!
