I went to have my battery checked. Where the battery is located on the vehicle is a very difficult area to get to, however the associate went above and beyond the duty. He checked it, placed another battery in, gave a discount and entertained my 78 year old mother making her day. Also another associate in the store helped me with another issue while he worked on the battery. I am very much pleased with their service, knowledge concerning the vehicles and they have awesome customer service.

I had the great pleasure of going to this Auto Zone today. I needed a car battery. Mr. Joseph went way above and way beyond helping me!!! He removed my corroded car battery and put the new one into my car. This was not an easy task at all. He was extremely polite, patient and professional. I have never experienced this type of service, not even at car dealerships service departments. I highly recommend you visit this auto zone and ask for Joseph .

Pulled in with my daughter with an unknown tire situation. As a female I’m not knowledged on these things is much as I should be. Daniel was off the clock and jumped into the situation to help me immediately went above and beyond my expectations even while he was off the clock. After 45 minutes and his help me and my daughter are now safely on the road thank you so much Daniel for your hard work even off the clock.

Staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. They really went out of their way to help. One person in particular that I wont name in case they violated company policy went above and beyond with helping me find what I needed to get the job done. I went in for help and thats exactly what I got and more. I left feeling satisfied...not cheated and taken advantage of like my recent encounter with a certain establishment (Ford Dealership). With business and customer service practices demonstrated at this AutoZone I dont mind spending my money.

I was driving home from vacation when my alternator & battery both died. I was fortunate enough to be able to make it here. I didnt catch names, but a Crew member helped me get the battery in and tested the alternator. We found both were trash. He helped me get the right alternator and even loaned me a couple of tools so I could swap it in the parking lot. Fortunately it was easy access. Without these good guys, I may have been stranded with a truck full of kids while I was almost 300 miles from home. Great job to the crew guy and what appeared to be a manager. Sorry I didnt catch names.

Have bought several thing for my cars and the staff is always helpful they answer questions and give suggestions to get the issue taken care of. I had a battery that i thought was going bad so I bought a new one when i put the new one in had problems a day later coming home they told me to clean the frame ground but they also let me return the new battery and gave me my old one back because they didnt test the old one they werent supposed to return the new one because I had installed it but it was their mistake and they wanted to make it right. I still get parts from them because they are knowledgeable and fair.

ZERO STARTS. ZERO STARS. ZERO STARS. I drove 40 minutes today to go get a part my jeep urgently needed just so I could walk out in less than 2 minutes because the staff was ZERO help. I told the 2 guys up front at the register that I needed a certain part. They responded by telling me the aisle I could find it in which I responded by saying yes Ive seen but idk which one I need that will fit my jeep. They never moved an inch behind that counter, just stared blankly at me like saying oh wells. I walked out.

I went right when they opened up at 7:30. I was the only one in there but I dont need to hear the employee dropping the F bomb several times while I was in there. Not a very professional way to manage a business. I love auto zone but if this continues i will have to find a new one to go too.

I usually always have a great experience at this store. Today I visted to check some codes on my vehicle and see what I needed. A older gentleman by the name of David assisted me. First off he had me check my own codes with the tool. Very unusual. I came inside handed it to him and asked where the gorilla tape was. He said he wasnt from that store; then pointed me where he taught it to be. I looked around then found this T-rex tape hanging on a clearance tab. There was only 2. I took to checkout he told me that the tape was $11. I told he where I found it. We both went and looked and he concluded that, that was the only tab hung for it, but it was the erong product code. I politely understood and offered to only buy 1 for the listed price. He refused and argued with me, and told me he woukd not sell jt. Then I said this isnt your store so ask someone who actually works here. He did. I explained that the product was hung on a tab that had the products name on it with the price just as David had found it. Also there was no sign of a missing space or that it was placedbin the wrong area. I said, its not my fault i just want to buy what I came for. So he scanned 1 package and threw it on the counter towards me. So i looked up and told he I would like to purchase both box as I originally intended. He told me NO! I said, Im the customer and I would like to purchase both. He told me that I agreed I wouldnt be greedy and buy both and I should be a man of my word. I told him I was till he threw it at me. Then Mr. David looked me in my eyes and said, If I was to throw it at you Id make sure I hit you with it! All I could do was smile to refrain myself. To not make a scene I told Mr. David I would be a man of my word and purchase the 1 package. My family and I work on vehicles and spend a lot of money with Autozone. I refuse to treated and disrespected in such a way that nothing goes undone. We can start with a written apology from Mr. David. 8-06-2020 12pm. Thank you.

Left my daughter standing at the curb with a diagnosis that her vehicle needed a new alernator which in fact was fine, she simply needed a new battery. Sorry service. Most of the auto parts stores go out of their way to diagnose problems and affect repairs with their parts. Sad, very sad. Rest assured they wont see me or any of my friends inside their store again.

Purchased replacement bulbs for my headlights. I recently purchased and immediately returned a similar item at advanced auto parts due to an absolute lack of knowledge and assistance, Horrible customer service! Today however I stopped here, made the same purchase and was completely satisfied at my experience. Mark (?sales manager?) was kind and extremely helpful at not only selling me the parts but installing them as well. To be honest, the price was significantly higher. I hope that reflects in employee salary and satisfaction!

I buy batteries from Auto zone because they keep track of the warranty on computer nationwide. My 6 year old battery was not in warranty but the record of the purchase was and I dont have to keep a receipt in my pocket for 6years! Thanks for making my life a little easier!!!

This place used to be nice, but its showing its age. Recently they moved to a system of operating machines with a card rather than quarters, which is irritating. You have to pay for the card (which is reusable, to be fair), but you can only load it with a minimum of $5 from your credit card.

Larry tested the battery and it was dead. So he offered me two different battery options. I chose the battery I wanted and he had someone change it for me. The entire transaction took about 20 minutes.

One of the best Auto Zone in the area, I came with a problem with my ignition switch for my vehicle. I went inside and asked the staff what should I do. I already called the mechanic and they want to charge me over $200, and over half of that was for the part alone. I went to AutoZone and look up the price for the part it was between 60 and $80 which was a third of the price that they want to charge me. I went and got the part and looked at the instructional video on how to rekey the ignition cylinder and not only did it help me keep my original key, it also save me tons of money. Thank you staff of Auto Zone.

I was in line for about a half hour while the geriatric salesman tried to rip off a young usaf service woman in to buying a ridiculously priced battery for her car.. the woman who serves are country .. I just so happen to be an ASE certified Master auto technician and just finally came out and told her you can buy that same cca battery at WallMart up the street for about 75$ less.. she being an obvious smart woman of course left.. what a bunch of bumbs!!! Hope you go out of business, you deserve it.

Earlier today I drove out of my way, past Advance Auto Parts, to your store at 1200 N Berkeley Blvd Goldsboro NC. I selected an oil treatment product and waited in line to purchase it along with an engine mount that your store had in stock. There were two customers in line in front of me and one clerk. Your clerk proceeded to answer the constantly ringing phone instead of assist the paying customers standing in front of him in the ever-increasing line. Once the phone finally ceased ringing after 10 minutes or so, your clerk assisted the first customer in finding some spark plugs and a socket that would fit them. Then another clerk arrived and began assisting customers (the gentleman in line in front of me) and I ended up with telephone man. I placed my oil treatment product on the counter and was asked if that was all I needed. I replied that I also needed a torque mount for a ’95 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder. He set my oil treatment aside and said that he would assist the other customers in the substantial line first to get them out the door. Had he not been answering the stupid phone and running around the store seeing if he had floor mats in stock and other nonsense, he wouldn’t have had this tremendous line in the first place. And then to place me at the back of the line because I wanted something that would take an extra minute of his time was just plain rude. Especially considering he just did that exact same thing with the first customer (help them find parts and tools). He also had the audacity to stupidly ask everyone in line if we were all checking out after he concluded his phone answering circus. I left and went back to the Advance Auto Parts I passed on my way to your store and purchased the same two items for similar prices. The phone rang while the clerk was assisting me and do you know what he had the nerve to do? Let it ring until he was finished helping me! Aside from today’s missed sale, this is also unfortunate for your company because I plan on rebuilding the engine in my car in the near future which will cost $1000 at least. I’m sure that O’Reilly’s or Advance will be more than happy to accept my business! I know, for a fact, that Advance will do it without gabbing on the phone with every yahoo that calls while I’m standing right in front of them with cash in my hand.
