We have visited before and the houses were beautiful….they now have a new manager and wow!!! You can feel the difference in the environment! It’s cleaner and the people are much more friendly and supportive of our needs. The Manager even came out to meet us and show us houses. I was extremely impressed and I recommend going to see Jeremy

Absolutely best experience we could ask for. Their new manager came out and introduced himself and gave us his personal cell number! We felt important and we were very impressed. We visited cowtown and palm harbor before Clayton but the quality of houses and impressive customer skills is why we chose Clayton. Ask for Jeremy…he was wonderful!

I was actually going out today to visit Clayton Homes as Im in the market for same ...they have good reviews for energy efficient homes but wow too many actual relatively new home buyers I see, have very scary reviews from them to put my life savings down on one of their homes. They need to realize for ever terrible review that they do not solve with the customer and make it right - it potentially scares away many potential home sales with them. Will they ever get that ? I dont know but Im going somewhere else.

PLEASE READ COMPLETE REVIEW. A $140,000.00 mobile home is a piece of junk. Please please do your research before giving CLAYTON HOMES your hard earned money. So many problems, some have been corrected, some not, some corrected but made worse. Windows not even, doors not even, floor is bubbling in places and dented in others, trim coming off. Just discovered our third water leak in the kitchen so I’m sure there is mold under our cabinets. Worse decision we ever made.09-2020...We have been out almost $500.00 on our ac unit, wasn’t installed correctly. Just had to replace our hot water heater, flooded our closet, $1300.00. Already had to have the dishwasher repaired, thank goodness for Frigidare warranty. These 3 items are 18 months old. Our floor is buckling in the living room.

Honestly, I think that we looked like people with no serious intentions to buy a house, or we picked the wrong day to go, who knows ?

I bought a home and moved in at the beginning of last year and have had constant issues. My floor was literally falling through and the septic system they installed is constantly backing up. They sent a crew out to replace the floor but it wasnt done correctly because just a couple months after they fixed it its separating. The crew was very rude, caused damage to my walls and refused to do anything about it. Ive been trying to get ahold of the company for over a year and they ignore me. I really need the septic company to come out and my floor to be looked at. The manager of the factory came out and promised everything would be fix and ive been waiting and it just keeps getting worse. Ive called and emailed but no one has come out.

Did not care to hear what we needed. We bought a mobile home 10 minutes later on our next stop, 2 minutes from this place. We did not feel welcomed there.

Ive visited several mobile home dealers in the past few weeks, and by far, Chad Hooten has been the best person Ive had the opportunity of working with. He immediately greeted me with a friendly smile. He was very attentive. I could tell very quickly that he was compassionate about Clayton and their heart to help their customers. He was generous with his time, and also very informative with all of my questions and concerns. Im super ecstatic about moving forward with this buying process with him!

I understand now why their rating is three-point something. Their hours are from 9 to 6 Monday through Friday and today is Tuesday and I got here at 5:25 and no one was here. Maybe they should change the sign from when I decide to show up until I decide to leave.

Do Not buy anything from them!! I was told when I bought my home at the beginning of 2014 that I had a five year warranty that covers any problems1. The plumbing was not installed correctly they went behind my back (I knew nothing about it at the time) and let someone else besides them run the water lines. The person that did it ran it outside of my property line! I then had to pay someone $500.00 just to get it back on my property since I was putting up a fence and now Im having low water pressure & it makes a jackhammer sound when you turn the water onI was told by a licensed plumber they use when everything gets messed up that they use the cheapest people possible and then he has to come back and fix their messesI called the home warranty people & sure enough it doesnt cover anything outside the house. Now Im stuck with this mess since I dont have the money to replace the lines myself.Also had to replace a door that was broken & they told me they would fix the back door while they were at it since it wasnt right and it is the biggest joke I have ever seen! The guy doing it had no idea what he was doing and couldnt drill a hole right to replace a door knob! He ended up putting this awful looking plate over it so the door handle would stay on. Looks very cheap & ugly & I sent their repair guy- who didnt want to have to drive out to my house since its a ways out of ft worth - a picture of the door and never heard back from anyone there. Didnt even match the original color of the door knobs! Used the cheapest thing they could find.I would never recommend them to anyone. But they got their money & thats all they care about. Sad

These joker didnt bother to hook up my dryer vent. They also never fixed my front storm door. When I came back to them, they stated my year warranty was out and to call the extended warranty company. After I called the extended warranty company and informed them what happened, they informed me but was a problem with Clayton and I need to get them to fix it. So I have finally had to fix the complete utility room myself. Dont buy anything from these douches.

Please save yourself some grief and dont buy from this company. They make agreements on the phone to get you on site and then refuse hold up their end of the deal. Their customer service comes across great, but when you get down to it youre dealing with a used car salesman. We were told what we wanted to hear to buy from them, and then basically dropped by our salesman once we signed. He told us to deal with him if we had any issues with our home and he would take care of it. This was an absolute lie. We didnt hear back from them for 6 weeks to do the initial walk thru to have things mended after the delivery. We have had the home for 6 months now and are having some issues. We contacted our salesman and he is being very rude and childish. He complained that he was thrown under the bus, because we complained to his supervisor about his terrible service and full of it attitude. He asked us to not contact him anymore about issues we are having. We would like to have the least amount contact with this person as possible, but we did not have the correct number to contact the service department directly. There are tons of mobile home dealers in Texas I would suggest you go somewhere else.

Great buying experience. Have to say Im not happy about the customer service after. Really disappointed with them repeatedly not fixing the same issue after sending multiple people out to the house. Maybe someday. Its already been 8 months...Were 2 years in. More issues.

I bought a single-wide mobile home from them to summer in Tybee Island with. It only costed me 14,600 dollars for a very sturdy and well crafted 2 bedroom 1 bath. Very easy working with staff.I had a great experience purchasing from Clayton Homes.

My wife n i went to dealer on 199 by lakeside tx yesterday n the guy that greated us was the most rude person have ever meet .we went in to ask a few questions inregards to a home that we talked to tom about but the asshat that greated us refused to even answer a question n refused to even try to help get a sale for the team .we was looking to put 60 thousand down on home but sorry tom the home we talked to you about aint worth the headache n hurt that guy did .that home n one other was what we had narrowed down to n was leaning towards yalls home but that guy made our decision for us .maybe clayton homes should work as a team not as i me or my.improve your customer service.

Customer service sucks I asked how long the wait would be he said not a clue so I just left. I will just take my business elsewhere that actually care about their customers unlike this place.

Friendly staff and lots of selection.

This place is garbage. My home leaks from the roof and 2 sinks. Electrical is messed up floor creaks every step. Huge cracks around exterior doors which makes the air run all day. If u want a cheap house this is your place.

George was very friendly and helpful in helping my wife and I with baking an informed decision. If we decide to buy, we will see then soon.

My husband and I purchased a mobile home and did an upgrade on are appliances. We also did an extended warranty guess what not covered . It so strange that they all went out the same time . We have other issues as will. I will never ever ever buy a mobile home. I am stuck .

I have had my CLAYTON MOBILE HOME for 3 years now. Brand new home off the lot! DO NOT BUY A CLAYTON MOBILE HOME! THEY ARE CHEAPLY MADE!!! I have had to replace both shower head spickets in my home that have cause major water damage! And I have had to replace my sink due to water leaking into the underside of my cabinets. And I have had a leak in my ceiling in the living room! Clayton mobile home does not deserve to be in business! Deserves minus 5 stars! O yeah and to top it all of clayton mobile home proceeds to tell me its not a universal problem so I dont see why u have this issue. Realy?!
