I purchased porcelain tile for a new home build last October from this company. I was given a no later than delivery date that was not met, so my project was delayed by two weeks. I was patient, since covid had disrupted many things. When the tile was finally delivered, I was not present at the unoccupied home, and the freight company left it in the driveway. That evening my husband went to put the tile in the house, and noticed a lot of clanking in the boxes. It was obvious that there was damage, so I emailed the company right away. I received a prompt response and was asked for pictures of the damage. My installer had taken the tiles out of boxes, separated them into damaged and undamaged stacks, and I went to take pictures. I immediately sent them. I was later told that per their terms of delivery, I accepted them in as is condition, and if there was damage I needed to reject the delivery. How was I supposed to do that when I wasnt present for delivery? After much back and forth Greg Thompson, General Manager, offered me $150 to go away. My order for this product totalled $1487. Over half of the tiles were broken. I had my project delayed even further, and had to find replacement tile. I told him if they would not reimburse me for the cost to replace, I would dispute with credit card company, which I ended up doing. In their response to my dispute with AMEX, they sent a copy of the delivery receipt saying I signed for the delivery and per their terms I verified that it was in acceptable condition. However, it was not my signature on the receipt, it was not even my name on the delivery receipt! It was obviously forged. Apparently this company uses deceitful practices to make a quick buck and they dont care about repeat business. All I can say is buyer beware of this business.

I visited Fort Lauderdale on vacation and found this showroom. The choices were really unique. We ended up purchasing large format porcelain tile for our entire home and also some wood floors. They handled the shipping for us which was very reasonable. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for these items. Great selection and great service.

Catalfamo Gallery sent us broken tiles and were not willing to give us a refund. After a lot if back and forth they finally agreed to refund for 50% of the broken tiles, as a courtesy (!!). Besides for delivering broken tiles and not taking responsibility, they also had the shipment of tiles delayed by two weeks.Not recommended!

Amazing space. They have beautiful tiles, from Spain, Italy and I am sure other imports as well. Their title is also thicker. More substantial. Friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. You dont know where to look first. It isnt a place you go to when your in a hurry.

Catalfamo is hands down the best tile store in Fort Lauderdale. I was redoing all of my floors and needed to keep costs low while trying to achieve a particular look. Sherri Poole worked with me and was able to open get some samples that fit my description. The one I went with was absolutely gorgeous and was at a very affordable price. This is one of the best Boutique Tile Stores in the area. The selection of unique and latest flooring products is excellent. But its only superseded by their service and attention to the clients needs. It has been more than 5 years that we have used Catalfamo for our custom home projects and we are very satisfied.

Very poor. I did not even get a follow up phone call or e mail after my initial discussion in the shop. Over a 2 month period with the sales consultant I did not even get one reply to my 3 e mails. I even went in the shop for a second time to ask what was going on. He just gave me an ad lib excuse. Very disappointing. Very unprofessional. I took my business elsewhere.

I placed a 10k order and within a few hours found a better deal. As they have best price guarantee I called them. They could not match it but talked me into staying with them for quality of their service. They were quick to take my money via wire transfer promising a fast service, seamless returns and low cost on additional orders if any. Well none of that was true. It took about a month to receive the floors, about two months to send the remaining unopened boxes for a 25% restocking fee, and they charged me a regular shipping fee for supplemental order. I spend at least 12h of my time calling them, emailing them etc just to get all loose ends tied. Stay away please.

They do business under multiple names online. Someone took my order over the phone and said they had the item in stock. They then never told me they didnt have it in stock....they did refund me promptly but no call no e-mail for over a month?

The people over at the catalfamo gallery were fantastic. I have sent may people to them after the service I go. I highly recommend them. Thanks guys I will see you when I am ready to do my next room

The salesman knows what hes doing. The choice of products is so superior to Floor and Decor that I regret I havent visited before I bought the tiles for the other bathroom.

Hard to even give 1 Star. Dealing with this company was a pain from start to finish. Their shipping partner has no clue what they’re doing and actually required that I provide my own fork lift for delivery. What everyday consumer has a forklift at their house? Then, when I finally do receive my 17 boxes of tile, 2 boxes have broken tiles. I filed a claim as soon as the boxes were opened. But they refuse to replace the broken tiles because they weren’t discovered before the shipping truck left my house. They actually told me “you can probably use the broken pieces in closets or somewhere.” Never again.

They were extremely friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere, my order was placed in a super professional manner and delivered hassle free.

Although I initially had some trouble with my order, the GM Tony Cuozzo called me to personally set things right. Good to know good customer service still exists.

Worst company I have ever dealt with!!! I am one that usually writes good reviews and never writes the bad reviews. They made me so mad and are extremely unprofessional that I felt like others need to hear. We ordered flooring back in February and were told we would have them in 7-10 days. We left several messages when 2 weeks came upon us with no flooring to be found. They would not call us back. I finally called the trucking company they use to ship the floors. The lady said she doesn’t know how to tell me but it shows the floors are there but they have no idea where because they can’t find them. After several calls back to Catalfamogallery a gentleman answered. He said that he was the only one there and was closing and was very apologetic and said that he would have his manager reach out to us the next day and that we would get some sort of compensation for this and try to figure out where our flooring is . He never called. I then sent an email . We are now in April and still do not have any flooring . The person that emailed me back on April 3rd (they never write their name at the end of the emails), asked who informed me that we were getting compensated and that they will do their best to see if we can get compensated but that he/she in particular cannot authorize compensation. He or she also informed us that they are a distributor and offer low prices to their customers but their margins are extremely low which means that they’re not making major profits from our order . He/She said that they will resend our wood, which they did and we finally got but didn’t mention anything about the compensation . I waited till April 9th and told him/her that we still haven’t heard anything and seeing if they found anything out. Crickets.....I emailed again on April 12th and told them this is my third time reaching out and haven’t heard anything and that I was disappointed on how they conduct their business . That same day they reach back out to me and stated again that they cannot authorize any compensation and have forward the information to their manager. They used the excuse that he is in a lot of meetings but that he will get back to me regarding this and once he does they will let me know the outcome . They also asked me what kind of compensation I was looking for, which I thought was a bit unprofessional. I emailed back and told them that we were wanting to buy more wood so maybe give us 20 or 25% off of the new order. Now it is May 1 and I still have not heard anything back from them so I emailed them again . They Emailed back and said they never got my email regarding the compensation. I took a snapshot of it where it shows the date I sent it and the time and sent it back to them. They did not respond to that email. I reached out one last time on May 12 and told them this is my last attempt and not once did a manager EVER get back to us. I have never dealt with such unprofessionalism in my life . I am beyond frustrated !! Never ever again will I deal with this company . If I could have given them zero stars, I would have . Tanya
