I have 2 BMW vehicles and I trust Schneider with both. They do a really good job and the staff is super friendly to their customers. Sometimes it may take a little longer than expected, but the quality of service is awesome. There was a part that I needed in my last repair that was hard to explain by phone and the service advisor invited me to the shop, showed me and explained exactly what was going on. Give these guys a shot for your foreign vehicles. You will be treated very well and repair costs are reasonable.

WE HAD AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE FIXED ON 2001 BMW Z3. THEY ALSO INSPECTED THE VEHICLE THOROUGHLY AND INFORMED US ON WHAT THE REPAIR AND COST WOULD BE. THEY ARE FRIENDLY AND DO TOP PROFESSIONAL WORK.

Was told one price then when my wife fot there they jacked the price up

They dont deserve any stars! Somehow they are able to remove their worst reviews, which is another indictment against the shop as well as search engine. I had taken the time to have my Volvo serviced and everything was checked out to ensure it was in excellent running condition before moving to the area; however, once my car arrived, it had been damaged underneath causing an oil leak. Panicking, I had gotten the car towed to the closest place I could find, with unfortunately was Schneiders. I had called and communicated the information about my car and instructed only the oil leak should be repaired. However, picking up the car, I was informed of the cost, which was over $2000, and told they needed to do additional work. The first thing they had done was fill my car with premium oil and watch it run out to verify I had an oil leak--as if they couldnt see the fine line already present. They also did minor things my car didnt need to have done, but wanted to gouge me for another small fortune for additional work. I had purchased the car for $8000 and dealt paid for every repair it required--and it had every single issue possible associated with that year/model. So, moving away from skilled mechanics accustomed to working on foreign cars who never overcharged me--especially since they knew I was disabled--to having to deal with this horrendous business, I knew I could not trust that my car hadnt been tampered with to deliberately cause engine problems. As a result, I was forced to get rid of the car, and have been left without transportation. Avoid this place!!!

Worst experience ever paid them $961 for something they said I needed because my Cadillac wasn’t running good and guess what it’s still not fixed. Had to take it back to them several times still not fixed and no money back . Be careful dealing with bootleg mechanics.

Posted in 2018. My Mercedes-Benz was repaired at a much lower cost than a dealership would have charged. A free detailed inspection worth $79.95 and a AAA discount applied saved an additional $129.95. The car was ready to go at the time estimated and is running perfectly. I highly recommend this business.Posted Oct, 2019. I took my Mercedes in for brake repair but unfortunately the parts did not arrive in time for the repair to be done by the weekend. I needed to use it that weekend and since it was not dangerous to drive I was allowed to pick it up, used it, returned it to the shop and it was repaired immediately. I am a very satisfied regular customer.February 2020: I had a thermostat replaced and was allowed to drive the car while the parts were ordered. I left the car late in the evening that the parts arrived and the car was repaired by noon the next day. I am a satisfied repeat customer.

At first I was not going to do a review. I felt there was a discrepancy In what i was quoted vs what i was charged. Therefore, decided to email a reply to Jim. Within 24 hours Jim called me & said he had reviewed my bill & understood where I felt the over charged was. He actually refunded me the difference between the quote & the charge. Excellent service and very knowledgeable about the BMW brand. They can fix anything. Five stars for that. The four star rating is due to the cost. It’s expensive. But at the end of the day, I suppose you get what you pay for. They have never failed me on a repair.

Work was preformed @ a fair price & done right the first time. Normally I do all my own mechanic work but I know nothing about forum cars. I took my BMW to them to fix & was well pleased. Would/will use them again. Their an honest shop.

Charged us double the amount for a part as compared to the actual dealership. Needed a new a/c compressor and he wanted to charge us 1022$ just for the part that wasn’t even a Mercedes brand part. The dealership only wanted 518$ for the part. I understand having a markup but not a 100% one. First thing out of his mouth was a talk about gaining our trust..should have walked out right then. Wouldn’t refund the deposit right away either..wish I could leave zero stars.

These guys know what they are doing. They are not just mechanics, they are automotive technicians. Nobody around here seems to have the level of education that these guys have. I have never been disappointed with any of the service they have performed for me. I highly recommend them.

Theyre very nice people and seem to be honest, but the prices drove me away. They wanted almost 500 bucks for a part I got from the dealership in Huntsville for 180. Have to say was very pleased with the fast service that they got my car in and out in 2days. They also gave me a assessment of other problems that I need to have fixed.

My 2010 Jetta TDi had been in a different shop after it mysteriously stopped running a couple of times. This other shop had the car for a week and couldn’t recreate the event; couldn’t figure out what was wrong. The guys at Schneider had the car a day and diagnosed the cause. We had to wait to get the part from the manufacturer but other than that, everything went great. They showed me exactly what was wrong and promptly answered any questions I had through the process. Well done!

My wife took our Mercedes GL 450 in for a windshield wiper motor/unit that had malfunctioned. The staff was beyond helpful, made the repair, and didnt charge her a penny. I appreciated how they handled the situation, treated my wife, and dealt with the repair honestly and fairly. Theyve acquired a customer for life and I will always recommend their services and take our cars there for service. Excellent experience!!!

They may cost a bit more than the local non expert mechanics, but a lot less than a dealer. And, they know what they are doing! The car was clean when returned too. You can trust them.

I found the staff very friendly even though they was very busy. I did compare prices to the dealership to find they are higher on some of the repairs they offered than the dealership. There prices do not include original OEM parts. To me it is more about cost and performance than convenience. If you are paying for convenience I believe they do quality work.

Porsche Cayenne Transmission Service,Great turn around, Jim was willing to use the OEM kit I purchased, dropped me off while the services being performed and picked me up promptly after the service was complete, Jim kept the old filter and fluid for my review and performed a safety check for brakes etc.

Jim and his staff are so knowledgeable, attentive, and thorough in servicing my BMW. I highly recommend Schneider Autohaus for servicing foreign cars.

2240 dollars and five weeks later and still the car isnt fixed. I was told if didnt like it I could get my car. This is a shop that swaps parts until they get it correctly. If you need your car fixed, and not just a basic oil change I would go elsewhere.Update: I did reach out to the owner on several occasions. Emails are available for anyone to read. I also reached out to better business bureau, but they are not a member. Check their reviews on Facebook and elsewhere where they havent been doctored up.

I have been using Schneider autohaus for about 5 years now for my BMW and Mercedes. They are much more economical that dealer and you get prompt service. I just found out today they will also work on my Ford pickup, One stop shopping on all vehicle repairs. I am very excited. They do superb work and keep you abreast of progress should it take longer than expected. Great team at Schneider Autohous. Give them a try. I promise youll love them and the service.

I recently bought an Audi S4, not realizing how much care it needed. I took the car to Schneider Autohaus and they took care everything for me. Ill be returning to them for all my future maintenance and repair work. The staff is certified which is a big deal to me and they stand behind their work.

I brought in my 2001 BMW 325i to Jim for a diagnosis since I was about to take it cross-country and wanted to make sure i took care of any problems that may have been present. Although I am able to do pretty extensive work on cars myself, i do not have the experience or equipment to diagnose problems. I told him my intentions to do this and he was so very helpful in not only diagnosing the existing problems but also telling me other things i should replace to have the engine running like new again. I really appreciated him even dropping me off to florence center so i could be picked up by one of my friends. After having completed the work myself, I totally undrstood all of his recommendations and the reasons for them; having seen why firsthand. I would highly recommend schneider autohaus so very much for work to be done on vehicles, I thank Jim and his team so very much for his help and service.

I took my car to them a little over a half a year ago and I will be taking it back to them today. I hope they tell me something good.

Beware! They are either incompetent or crooks . A $1,100 estimate of which I paid $120.00 to obtain was repaired at another shop for less than $100.00. The estamite was bogus! !!!!!! !! Why is the question? ????

They did look at my vehical on spot I was a walk in, but unfortunatly they want to retire on my job. Needed altinator and the wanted $850 total. 550 for part 300 labor I found the oe part for $265 thats 300 less for same part denso brand they wamted 550 for thats what discouraged me. I wouldve been happy to pay the labor if the price of altinator wasnt so marked up

The worst customer service & work time performed on cars. I took my car to get its convertible to repair & the guys from Schneider Autohaus LLC (Florence,Alabama) gave me a list of the parts require to fix the car a total of 6$6k to just repair the top. I ask them if I found the part @ from my supplier could they still performed any work on it & they agree . When I got all the parts I took my car & they kept it in the same park spot for over 1 month 2 weeks & didnt do any work on it, I later went & ask them why my car was not ready & they said because I didnt buy the parts from them, but yet before they did agreed to performed work regardless of where I bought my parts. I talk to BMW DEALERSHIPS ABOUT THIS & they said that they have been hearing a lot of complaints from this place . I would surely never recommend this place to anyone . THEIR WORK ETICS ARE UNPROFESSIONAL & WORK IS NEVER COMPLETELY ON TIME . ITS PATHETIC CAR SHOPS LIKE THESE ARE NOT WORK ANY CHANGE OUT YOUR POCKETS.

Instead of them knowing the cam gears on my 2006 c230 were worn out they instead bilked me into believing the cam sensors were faulty due to oil sludge build up and miraculously they had a ( machine) they cleaned the engine inside the block with a miracle solution, $800 later and the car ran worse after they worked on it, save your self troubles,carry your vechile to Mercedes dealership you will thank me!!!!!
