I didnt like how the guy was watching me when I walked in the store. I walked in with my mother and he immediately kept looking at us. I was very uncomfortable in there and that was the worse experience in my life. I was only in there to see what I can buy to break my $100 dollar bill. My mother paid for her items and the guy saw her pay for her items. When I went to the register to pay for my items, the guy asked my mother Did she pay for her items? knowing that he didnt see he steal. Sadly, the cashier never said anything about it and I was uncomfortable about that. She didnt even say sorry for the inconvenience. The guy tried to be cool with me to give me a conversation but I looked at him like he was crazy. I didnt like that and I didnt like him for that. I thought he was cool but I was wrong. Please be careful with those workers in there. They think everybody is a theft.

I went to this General Store today to cool off and escape the heat outside. I was in there for 4 minutes just looking around and talking to my girl friend on the phone and during those four minutes the employees kept staring at me as if I was going to rob the store. A few seconds later the loud speaker went out and said that they’re monitoring the place 24/7. And then asked the employees if everything was under control. I felt very uncomfortable.

The shopping baskets are very filthy, the ground outside the store is cleaner. I know they dont sanitize the baskets.

Says they close at 10. Came at 9:32pm they had the doors locked already. I get off late and just needed laundry detergent. They’re just hanging out until 10 so they can close the register on time with no questions but they close the doors whenever they want to.

Store says 8am till 10pm got here 9:05 doors locked give excuses that they have to close at this time then why have a sign saying open until 10pm.then change the sign to 9pm so people like me dont have to waste time driving to the store to grab something quick for no reason

The store is a little messy put thats because they just received an order. Customer service on floor needs improvement but other than that its great, got what I needed 😆.

They overcharge customers. Has happened multiple times. Be watchful of what youre carrying and buying. Recheck receipts. Happened to me. Happened to my mother and and a random stranger I came across while waiting in line. Lines can become long but dont rush to just pay whatever just to get out. Something isnt right there

Worst dollar store I have ever been to. If I could give 0 stars I would. The employees are rude and ratchet. Today I wasnt given back my change because they didnt have change and the cashier told me thats why you need you come with exact change she said the bank does not give them change. I asked where was her manager and she said she doesnt know, which does not surprise me because they are always under staffed. Its amazing how they still have customers. The aisles are always cluttered with restocking carts but somehow their shelves are never stocked. I honestly go here for the convenience of it being close but it has become an inconvenience because thy never have anything.

Following a change in management this particular store has declined dramatically. Customer service has declined, the store shelves constantly empty even though theres boxes of inventory all over the place preventing customer from safely walking through the isles. To simply put it, this store is a fire hazard and in need of new management with organizational and leaderships skills. The owner of this store should set time to look a his/her invesent and make needed changes before someone gets hurt.

The new staff are cleaning the mess others left, now uou can walk through and if you need help this new staff help you in the way you supposed to be treated

The store is convenient. The workers normally do the best at getting you in and out as quickly as possible. But, the lines do tend to get back up causing you to wait longer than anticipated. The store is as clean as a dollar store can be considering the high volume of traffic. Overall I like the store and always return because I like the store itself.

Cluttered with stock in several aisle like progress is slow but its brand new so understandable too. They do have selection good for one stop shopping, and good prices they are nearby and easy to find in new plaza Trumbull street in Elizabeth, NJ.

The store is in a great location the only thing is that its under staff one cashier only. They have everything you need. The only problem I had was the store was in disarray the day I went. Children was running and playing in the toy aisle. I figure cause its the Christmas season they are excited, otherwise I love dollar general

When they are open and when they are stocked it is a great store I’ve gone to all of its affiliates however this location is a hot mess. Whoever runs the store needs to be fired. They never have anything in stock. The store is messy there’s boxes all over the floor. There is everything in the way it’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. Add that to the fact that even though it says they’re open every day at 8 AM they are never open on time

Regardless of how convenient is to buy at DG I must stop going to this particular store. The mess is out of control, the ammount of apalettes in every isle make it impossible to shop. Walking around without bumping into someone is impossible. I only see 2 employees; one as a cashier and another one attempting to re stock the shelves. Because of the one cashier situation be ready to stay In line AWHILE.

Store is is disgusting, there is boxes and bins everywhere. The employee area in the back has knocked over merchandise on the floor.. one long line for 30 mins needs to management ASAP

Ummmm...I went on black Friday...not for specials or deals but I really needed somethings for a birthday. The store was upside down. Merchandise was strewn all over....there was a lack of care by staff. Attitude was matter of factly. Embarrassing, really.

There wasnt any shopping carts available... Baskets were very dirty... I couldnt find half the items I needed it...My receipt printed blank... Cashier said he couldnt give reprint my receipt or provide me with other options for me to get my receipt...

This place is disgusting customer service is beyond rudeness especially the Manager she has no customer service skills, garbage everywhere the aisles are cluttered with merchandise no space to walk with the cart, people stealing from left to right they dont even bother to call the police this store is baddddd..

Stopped visiting the store because once I paid $5 for a can of peanuts that was half-eaten. On another visit the supervisor/manager bagged my purchases and left an entire 8 pack of Scot toilet paper out. When I returned with the receipt I told him what happened and he defensively said it wasnt me. He said nothing else to me, apparently assuming Im a mind reader. I proceeded to take the product and left the store. After another two visits he brought it up and accused me of stealing. I told him I took what I had paid for since he ignored me when I approached him. On the next visit he said nothing, apparently because he saw I had a cart full of items and spent $51 on that visit. After that I went in for some hangers and he brought it up. I reminded him that I had gone to him to address the issue and he ignored me. He again repeated that it wasnt him. I asked him if he had a twin working at that store since I vividly remember him bagging my purchase. He said he was going to check the cameras, to which I responded that he didnt say that. He was too busy repeating that it wasnt he who had helped me. In the end I dont know if he checked the cameras, or he would have realized he charged me for something he left out. He was more interested in being right. I told him I didnt need that nonsense and that if he paid more attention to what he was doing this wouldnt have happened. Then he was more interested in telling me not to tell him how to do his job. I told him that I didnt need that and i would go to other dollar stores, since there are plenty in my neighborhood. To which he responded I would appreciate that. So, for simple transactions the store may be ok, but when you start losing other customers, realize that this is the way this lackey talks to them.

Always long lines even when there arent that many customers. Store is not tidy at all and manager I believe his name is Jermaine is also goofing around and treats customers poorly. He acts as if he is the owner of the company and most of the time is one the phone chatting or avoiding customers.

They NEVER EVER open up on time at 8am....sitting in my car waiting... looking at people come and go disappointed that there not open. They lose a lot of clients from the laundromat next door.

There is usually one working cash receptionist here. The lines are long and if youre only going to get a piece of candy, waiting 10 minutes in line diminishes the experience.
