I always receive welcoming & great customer service. I usually visit the store once or twice a month to buy canned jackfruit by the load. They have the most reasonably priced jackfruit in the whole city of El Paso. You might can find a canned jackfruit at twice the price at (insert overly priced grocery store) but I never can beat Oriental Imports prices. Heads up to all the vegans out there this is the number one spot to get jackfruit in the city! I recently visited their newest location and it is still very well organized and I also was informed that are moving forward with more tech forward check out system! -NES

Its like stepping into an Oriental Mall. A combination of grocery store and curio shop. Its huge.I buy my pickled ginger and Chinese mustard & linaments as well as incense there. Lots of pottery and statuary. Tons of restaurant and kitchen supplies.Helpful, friendly staff. Will answer all your questions and direct you where you need to go.

Love coming to this place since you can find other products imported from Asia not found at regular stores.

This is the highest rating I can give it because of the ingredients and supplies they have. It’s got a good enough supply but unfortunately the condition and appearance of the store is very depressing. I am not sure if the man who is the cashier is the owner as well, but he is the only man I ever see when I come to the store and never see anyone else. This location has SO much potential but the space is not being used properly and really is in need of organization and someone to really be in charge of quality control. My intentions for this trip was to find a store that sells sashimi and Thai seafood sauce. I have had no luck in this border town which is understandable considering we no longer have a China Town, fish market and limited in Asian influence and mostly because we border Mexico. There was a leak either from the appliances or the ceiling and just sitting water on the floor near rice and freezer foods. The refrigerators and freezers do not have any lights so you have to open the doors to see what’s inside and nothing is clearly marked so finding specific items is almost like an egg hunt. I made my way over to the produce sign which has nothing but boxes to the ceiling and covering 1/4 of the store and in plain sight. I opened one of the fridge doors because I wasn’t sure if it was jack fruit or durian that I spotted, it was jack fruit. Although, I was happy to see this fruit I was immediately met by such a foul smell because the 2 giant jack fruits sitting on the rack may have been there for weeks or even longer because they were starting to crack open and they were sunken as if they were melting down into themselves and the smell was horrible and obviously not a concern for anyone because it hasn’t been thrown away. As I turned around I saw some bananas in a box on the floor and in one of the boxes the banana have ripened so much they were black and absolutely sure inedible. The other box with more bananas was headed for the same fate. The decor and other non food items are kind of just scattered around and looks like they may be closing the store soon, the lighting is dim and is not a welcoming store to visit. Who knows the longevity of this store or if their condition will improve, but if they can improve the inventory, quality and creating separate spaces for everything in the store and I’m sure they would have more customers.

Looks like its was once a really great store, or maybe its just Covid. But they do have great products and stuff. From 5 minute ramen to pots and pans to make to make it yourself. Im not well informed in the oriental food and culture but definitely a place to visit if you need ingredients and other.

I always have great service here and more often than not I find what I want and need. The prices are always fair. They always carry great Muscle Rubs and Pain Remedys. I highly recommend you try this place out.

Great store! They have lots of inventory, and are very helpful. I was looking for kewpie no egg mayo, and even though they didnt have any offered to look into stocking it. I love that they post inventory updates on Google! Ill be keeping an eye out from now on.

One of the few places you can go to get certain kinds of ingredients specific to East Asian food. I am a big fan of beans and this place has soybeans and mung beans.

Very clean, very little merchandise. I spoke to the owner and Covid has greatly impacted shipping from other countries and suppliers. Very friendly place.

Its very difficult finding an oriental goods store in El Paso with a variety of options. This store is probably the biggest I have found so far with a good number of basics for Asian cuisine. All I couldnt find were chopsticks lol. This place does look kind of worn down and could use some organizing but I assume they dont want to hire help. The older gentleman at the front was the only person running the store and was very kind. I will be coming back for more stuff in the future.

Giving it a 5 star rating and I havent even been yet. From Oregon originally and have been pulling my hair out trying to find a good Asian market to get my groceries. After studying the pictures its very clear before even stepping foot in the door that Ive found my new store. So excited!

Wide selection of east Asian ingredients my family absolutely needs. Fresh and affordable produce. Delicious snacks. A variety of cooking supplies, dishes, kitsch. The family that operates this store is always courteous. This is my favorite oriental store in the El Paso area.

A little hidden but this store has a lot of unique treasures. It has a lot of imported goods that you cant find at your local grocery store, from a lot of dried goods to frozen fish. Teas of many kinds to a lot of unique desserts and candies. It is a little run down looking on the inside but if you over look that you can see all the neat stuff they have inside to purchase including the spicy ramen everyone is going crazy for!

I really enjoy this store! They carry nato and miso paste. I get my sushi ingredients here with sauces too.

Loved Oriental Impirts. Got some boba for a work event and it was reasonably priced. I was able to get the Pearls, the straws and the tea flavors. I got coconut, mango and honeydew melon and couldnt be happier.

Wow me and my brother went and this is my second time. My brother was surprised. The tea was great,snacks were great and CHEAP prices. This store never lets me down,and we got my favorite noddles from Korea cause its so yummy. Imma have my brother try it now!!!
