So the food was good Id probably go again. But the portions are imo kinda small. I ordered chicken teriyaki and there wasnt much chicken at all and I got a side order of fried rice. Also the prices on the wall are out of date so order from the actual menu where theyve bothered to actually update the price. The food is good! But I think alot of the grocery is overpriced I mean at the walmart across the street a couple of the same ramen packs that this place overprices, for a solid dollar less for a 4 pack.Id go again. But Id probably order differently.

I got food poisoning from this place that sent me to the ER. I got all cooked sushi, so I am definitely questioning their kitchen hygiene and how they keep their fish. Not to mention I was met with “you have 5 minutes to order” and the store was still open for 3 more hours. I ran out to my car real quick and let them know I was doing so because no one was at the cashier where I was waiting for 5 mins. As soon as I came back in they scolded me and said how rude I was for leaving without paying....I let them know I was waiting there for some time and you acknowledged that I was running outside with “yes, it will take 10-15 minutes”. Absolutely, absolutely do not recommend if not for customer service, but for health sake.

I found this location through google. Went to the market to look for sushi supplies. At first the lady was nice and helped me look for everything I needed. There are no prices anywhere so I’m thinking I will find out once I’m at the cash register. Well, at the cash register I couldn’t see any of the prices while being scanned. The total came out to $89. She was so quick to ask my husband for our credit card and she ran it so quickly that we didn’t have time to question anything. After scanning everything we told her we wanted to know how much each item cost. She got so angry at us so we said we will return some items. She didn’t know how to return items and had to call someone to help her. We tried to tell her that we didn’t want to return everything, only a few items. She had an attitude, didn’t want to hear us and decided to void everything still. I told my husband to just leave but he insisted to be patient with her and buy only 3 things from the groceries. We did and we left. We went across the street to Walmart and found the same exact items for half price. We returned to the market and asked to return two other items. She was so angry, said some very unprofessional things to us, pouted and accepted our return. The whole experience was very bizarre and weird. Their products are 3 times more than what they are selling for at markets. She told us they are a small business which we understand but selling one small sweet potato for almost $2 is insane to me. It’s a rip off and no one should be ripped off. Avocados, rice are extremely expensive. We will never return here again. The rudeness, attitude was very unprofessional, we felt unwanted at this store.

I’m not from El Paso, I’m from a very foodie area and here temporarily. It has been very hard to find food that was up to my standards. Admittedly not everything on the menu was great but I promise if you order the #7 (white rice) #9c and the El Paso roll you will not be disappointed.In reference to some of the other reviews, the service is different every time. I like to think of it like the “soup” place from Seinfeld...maybe the owner is a little scary but the food is worth it!

Food portions run small, and their sauces run sweet and kind of goopy. But the wait staff and crew was very kind and obliging.The market itself has decent Asian products, but the price gouging was out of this world, and they do not accept EBT (seriously, where do you think that you are?). I think that even Wal-Marts Asian section is more fairly priced. For these reasons, I had to stop going. Besides, there are other Asian groceries down the road on Dyer who have more ethical business practices.

The husband seems nicer than the Korean wife. I agree with the other reviewees her, she has attitude. I feel that their business will go down in a bad way, because of her. Either shes pre-menopausal stage or menopausal stage, which is why shes like this. She needs to have herself be seen by their family doctor or a psychiatrist. She has a tendency to talk about customers as soon as they out the door. She cant bring her Koraan attitude here in America or else their business will not last for 6 months more.She has to improve her attitude because there are far way better Korean places to eat at.I hope too she gets to read reviews.

I came here for the first time with one of my friends from work this past Friday. Our server was Rosa. She was so kind and friendly. A genuine smile on her face. I ordered just the California roll. It was so delicious and inexpensive. I really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the service too. My coworker loved his Food as well. Besides it being negative 50 degrees in there ( Im exaggerating but it felt like it haha) I would definitely come back again and again. They have a store connecting next door and they have a lot of items. I dig it.

New to town and this was my first visit to this restaurant. I ordered the Curry Lo Mein with shrimp #37. It was soupy, lacked flavor and the lo mein was very overcooked. After much searching I found about six tiny shrimp thay were even smaller than salad shrimp.. I tossed the remainder of that dish. The spring rolls #24 were nice and crispy on the outside but were filled with some mushy flavorless substance, the Calamari #28 was 90% tempura and the squid salad was equally disappointing. Overall the meal was of low quality, poorly made and consisted of low grade ingredients. At this point, I will move on and try out another Asian restaurant in the area.

Good place very clean and good food.

Usually the service is bearable, but today it was really bad. I called ahead to place an order for one sushi roll, I said I will pay when I get there. 10 minutes later I went in and paid as soon as I got there. I waited an additional 30 minutes after that for one roll, that I never got. I asked for a refund because at this point I was hungry and really wanted to leave. The lady cashier (the owner) gave me a hard time saying I wanted to wait to pay and I told her yes because I wanted a drink as well but now I want a refund. My card kept declining the refund for some reason and I asked for cash in which she got upset and gave it to me. Then proceeded to say Next time you order sushi I am not going to refund it, you wait. This was my go to place, not anymore.

I had called my order in ahead of time that way it could be ready by the time I got there and that just wasn’t the case. I waited almost an hour before I got my food, they claimed that they were busy but there was like 4 people there. Worst experience I have ever had, I do not recommend going here.

Place was disgusting, freezers were so dirty and they smell. The products have no price tags/labels at all. And you don’t even see the total of the items while checking out because they don’t have that technology. Never coming back here again. Really sketchy looking place. Not clean at all.

Worst customer service ever!! We went to order take out.. and we had a horrible experience. The waiter was new n she only had one table (like 5 people) but the owner/manager lady kept on coming and telling her how bad she was doing and that if somethings came wrong she would pay. Like give her help not scare her.. then our order took for ever(ordered two sushi rolls) well when our order finally was done like 55 minutes later.. i asked for sauce and the owner/manager said i gave u some in ur order n i told her it was two separate orders. N she said NO THATS ENOUGH.. wow wont ever go back for sure..

Service is horrible there, I waited 45 minutes for my order to come out but nothing happened so my family and I walked out . Just before we had walked out the waitress was telling us our order would take more time because or all the take out orders they had. Never going there again, it was the worst experience ever !!!!

Okay, so lets be honest. When you hear that sushi is inside of an Asian market, you think it is a little area in the back where you can sit and eat fresh fish. Boy was I wrong. This is a COMPLETELY SEPARATE RESTAURANT. Well, it is connected inside to where you can go into the market from the restaurant and back and forth, but you can enter the restaurant completely separate and apart from the market, and it is a very LARGE restaurant with booths and tables and a large TV. I was delighted that their sushi was extremely fresh, and I loved everything that I ordered... the Mexican roll had fresh jalapenos and the squid salad was really, really good. I also ordered the everything roll, or something like that, and it was equally as good, and fresh, which is what you want in sushi... being a sushi snob myself. Thank you for great service!

Worst service I ever had in a resturant. Seriously...... I went in when there was about 5 people sitting in the resturant so it wasnt busy. Ordered soup and entree. Waiter highly untrained, did not know what was on the menu. Took 30 minutes to take order only to come back another hour later because he forgot what I ordered. I saw several times food being returned because it wasnt what people ordered.

Horrible experience when I got my food it’s was almost frozen to the touch and when I told the waitress she was very rude about if I could rate less than one star I would. I would not recommend this place at all!!! And worse all she did was warm it up in the MICROWAVE THE MICROWAVE i can’t I just can’t!!!

Owner is super rude. She started yelling because we told her we wanted fried rice not steam rice. She started saying “everything is an issue!”.

Food is good but beware of asking for anything extra. I asked for extra egg in my chicken fried rice and was charged an extra dollar at checkout which I thought was pretty steep! The owner isnt very pleasant either. I am sure there are probably other similar restaurants in the area that wont charge ureasonable prices for extra toppings, etc on your food!

Was super happy with this sushi place until tonight. They stopped serving miso soup with to go orders (even if we paid I even offered to pay extra) and then over charge for basically just a roll filled with cream cheese (the roll was $8.99). They charged full price during happy hour when before happy hour prices applied. Wont be going here again, was coming here for over 3 years and wouldnt recommend it to anyone either horrible customer service with the owner who took my order. Dont come here. Id rather drive to sushi zen or sunnys. Photo shown I took out almost 3 chunks out of each roll and one roll had 1 sliver of salmon, this was not worth 9 bucks.

This is a favorite of mine. Consistently flavorful food. Great variety of sushi and prices that wont scare your wallet. I highly recommend this place for lunch time or a date night out. The food always comes out in a timely manner.

This place is a SCAM. Cashier was supposedly unable to void a transaction saying he didn’t have authorization. This lead to him trying to kick us out of the restaurant that we were eating at because I decided not to take the groceries I had bought. Yet I saw him void a transaction for a woman in front of me so she could pay for her food and groceries together. This is bad for business

Good service and fresh sushi. This is a separate restaurant from the Asian market. The Asian market is just through the door. The sushi that is here is great for the price, however it is not high quality sushi. That being said I come back often if Im not going outside of the Northeast of El Paso as it is definitely one of the better stops.

The reviews online brought me in to try this place. The restaurant was very warm. I would say they keep that place in mid to high 80s degree warm. Service was lacking. I had to ask for everything such as wasabi and ginger. Waitress did not even bring a sauce bowl for soy sauce nor did she ever refill my drink. Quality of salmon and tuna were very low. It is comparable to Chinese buffet sushi. Too low of a quality to be at a sushi restaurant/bar. Did not taste fresh at all. Also be aware that if you order a roll that you do not like, you will not be able to send it back. However, they do have a salad bar that comes with the meal.

I was greeted with a bright smile and with the utmost respect. If u like a drink or two they will tell u whats really good at the time u come in. In my case it was a really cold kirin ichiban. It was food after food. The attention to detail on the food u order is outstanding. Talk about customer care. As soon as i was done with my food, comes the next dish. Mr. Phillip was my server at the time. This man was very friendly and knows his job well. He wants nothing but the best for u. He will treat u like a queen/king. Ur wish is his command. The food is amazing. Very tasty. I expected nothing less. So if u ever want a perfect sushi restaurant/bar to go. This is the perfect place for u. This place is very clean. The atmosphere is calm, the floor is very shiny as if it was buffed 10x before u even arrived. Great place for group of friends to get together, have couple drinks and some excellent food and the best costumer service. U will not be disappointed.

To my taste....nothing better than the Asian Market for a Sushi dinner. Very tasty, fresh and custom made to your own preference. My family and I have been a customers since they open and have had no complaints.

Decent food but when the waiters manage to miss half your entrés in the order even though they repeat it back to you and on top of that bring items one by one, including the drinks, it makes for an unpleasant experience. Thats on top of the minute things like tossing the menus at you without asking for drinks and dropping your utensils on the table twice and dismissing it as fine.

The waitress had the face of an axe when asked if she could please clean the table that had sticky glass ring marks. She left it wet so lazy didnt wipe the excess water. Her work ethics as a waitress was poooor.

Trying it as we speak, peraistant service and a wide variety of sushi. They got TVs and quite a bit of seating. Rainbow roll, (which is a variety of fish sushi) tasted pretty danh good.

Fish tasted old, color was off. Half my roll was cream cheese. Told the lady I didnt want to eat it and didnt want to pay for and she wouldnt back down saying how great her sushi was and that I had to pay. Never going back there. Horrible, rushed service, drenched my bf noodles in soy sauce and forgot his rice. We ate that though, but I didnt want to get food poisoning from eating that fish.If your standards for sushi are low, go here.If your standards are medium to high, dont.Sushi Garden, The sushi place on sunland, and Kona Grill are much better options.
