Ridiculous experience today! I needed a sheet of plywood cut to size (58x30) and asked for assistance. I was assured that someone would be right there. After waiting 25 minutes with no response, I went to the service desk and asked for a manager. Her response was that (with at least 50 employees) she did not have anyone who could run the saw. No attempt to find someone or to figure out any kind of resolution. Lame apology. On a scale of 1-10, a zero for customer service.

I just had new carpet installed in my home this week. Im still putting everything back together.Home Depot provided the carpet and installation. I am VERY pleased with the whole experience and I love having the new carpet!At my Home Depot I experienced top-notch customer service. One Flooring Specialist even contacted me while he was on vacation to make sure I was happy with the way things were progressing.A crew of three guys took a full day to install the carpet and again, great experience. They did an excellent job.Dont ya just love new carpet???

Difficult to find. GPS helps. Home Depot had what I wanted. There were lots of employees gathered near the checkout area chatting but no one in the area where I was shopping and had questions. I like the Home Depot on N. Quebec St. better.

The moment I walked in the door multiple workers asked if I needed help. Initially I said I was ok but later ended up asking a worker named Trevor in the wood department for some help. Trevor was amazing and went above and beyond to help me find the materials I needed. He helped me get both wood paneling and insulation for my project. Both my girlfriend and I left expressing how pleasant the experience was.These days good service seems hard to find. Our experience at the Home Depot off of Santa Fe with Trevor made us want to go back to that location next time we need supplies.

This review is specifically regarding my experience with Steve Barber in the appliance department. I have ordered hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of appliances through Steve for many of my properties. He has been the consummate professional and always goes above and beyond to insure that we are getting the best pricing, advice, and service. I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else to get my appliances (currently working on a larger order as I write this review). Steve is an asset to the Home Depot and to my company as well. I felt compelled to write this review to let him know all of his hard work and great service is appreciated. Hopefully he gets the same recognition from his store manger and corporate as well. I even had employees walk past me while they chat together and ignored my request for help. This store has no idea what they are doing and fail to produce any simply common customer service.

We had an amazing experience with Don and Nicole in the tool rental department. It was late and snowy and we were locked out. They helped me rent a giant 32 ft ladder, took it out and mounted it on my car.Everything about the night was made easier by such kind customer service during a frustrating situation! I’m having a hard time with the number of stars to give because things overall were negative if not saved by the amazing customer service peppered in. They seem very busy and understaffed at this location. First, Maddie was very kind and helped me in the store getting supplies for a big project. She made sure I got everything I needed. Then, Nicole in tool rental took care of me and was very friendly as well and thorough. They were the saving grace to the other aspects like waiting in long lines, rented tools not working, products out of stock, and some other gruff employees.

Well, I love a good shopping spree at Home Depot as long as I don’t need assistance! I want to spend $2K on a refrigerator and after 30 minutes of begging 3 people to find someone to help me, still crickets. They literally couldn’t care less about me and my $2,000 refrigerator sale. It’s obviously nothing to them and their corporate monopoly. Not saying I won’t be back but I’ll definitely be going to Lowe’s for my refrigerator and all other large purchases.

And instead of helping me because they didn’t look busy, they called Santiago to come help who was in the next aisle. So I just wanted to give a shout-out to Santiago today! Oh Home Depot. No matter what, youre always there. Convenient for when you cant wait for your part or supply in the mail. Helpful staff, great holiday deals, always crowded but its obviously for a reason. Most staff are helpful and courteous, the return desk staff are awesome and very helpful and we definitely got too know them by name last year when building out our restaurant. You know well be back!

I found what I needed, stain for my fence, which wasnt in stock at other locations. Staff were friendly and helpful. Stars were taken off for the cleanliness of the store: it was dirty, products were jumbled and the stain was old and covered in dirt and grime. Ill visit this store only when the smaller, cleaner Glendale location doesnt have what I need.

I purchased an item for pickup. I arrived, followed the instructions in the email and waited...and waited...and waited. Finally I called after 15 minutes and was told they were short staffed (gee...there were at least 3 employees wandering casually in the parking lot checking on carts). After another 10 minutes, I gave up. I called them to let them know not to bother and left. 5 minutes later, they call me wondering where I am. Home Depot is the SLOWEST to respond to pick up orders...and this Home Depot is the SLOWEST of the SLOWEST

Frequently disappointed with this Home Depot location (Santa Fe) in particular, not necessarily Home Depot overall. This place just cannot get it right with order fulfillment. They may as well just stop doing any orders online, over the phone, etc and force people to shop in store.One order delivery failed miserably (left two pallets of wood flooring outside my door without calling/notifying me, when it was snowing, overnight). Another order was placed, said it was ready for pickup, and I waited for over 30 minutes while someone went and wandered around the store shopping for my items (I could have done that 20 mins quicker). Ive had multiple online orders cancelled for no reason and with no explanation.Customer service employees are mostly either unwilling or unable to help in any capacity. Obviously, Ill never do this again with this group of folks at the Santa Fe store. But fair warning for others: just go ship for your stuff for yourself, or be prepared to be disappointed.Youd think theyd try to do something about this problem, since its not just me, but they just cant get it together. Ive alerted customer service manager to this numerous times and asked to speak with store manager. Of course, they wont let me tell him about the issues and wont correct them at Customer Service.Highly disappointed. Avoiding at all costs.

Normally I love HD visits. However, I would recommend NEVER ordering doors from Home Depot, at least not this one. It can take 30-45 minutes to get connected to someone in the millworks department, sometimes I have to call multiple times a day or across several days just to get ahold of someone so I can make or update an order, check order status, schedule installation...whatever it is, its impossible! I am writing this review right now at 6:45pm, I just hung up from conversation with millworks where I first tried calling them at 4:15pm. Thats not customer service, thats customer insanity.I ordered a custom door, that took 8-10 weeks, they would not even do an initial schedule on my install until the door arrived, and their installer was out 8-10 weeks at that moment and only getting worse. So I was looking at a MINIMUM 4 months to get a door installed. I canceled my install and went with a local guy who was 2/3rds of the HD install price.

Im very specific about the things i need & i make it simple. When i say cheap paint, i shouldnt have to repeat it or walk away because you want to purposely give me the paint you think is best & the cheapest you want to go. No. Also when you have customers in line to pickup, stop talking & make sure they are helped. Whats wrong with you youngins. Cancelled half of my order while I was en route to pick it up. Then what they did give me was defective. I was hoping to get a full Dremel workstation and kit. But they apparently ran out of the Dremel workstation and the carbide bits, and the flex shaft I was sold did not come with the drive nut. I am shocked I received anything at all that isnt smashed into pieces.

One of the worst experiences I have had. Ordered a new dewalt mower online. After putting it together I noticed the batteries were missing. Called got the run around. When they actually talked to me and I wasnt on hold or hung up on twice! Went to the store the next day asked them to do a refund and I would purchase a new mower off the floor the manager person didnt want to! I didnt want to get batteries off a floor model! I payed for a NEW mower! The manager tried to blame the employee for taking to long I told him he was fine it was him that denied my request to return the mower so I can purchase another NEW one.

The home depot has a lot. Sometimes it might be hard to find things, however there are resources available to allow for easier navigating, one simply has to be savvy enough to search Home Depot on your smart phone. The website is usually pretty accurate and there are apps available to locate items within each store. Most of their staff can be very helpful, others might not take as much pride in their work as they should. This shouldnt reflect upon home depot. There are many services offered by third parties that also should not be held against the store providing the service.

Worst appliance purchasing experience ever after I bought the actual appliances. I will preface that Steve in appliances was incredibly helpful and great to work with in my purchase process. After that it was awful. The delivery company not only left my with a complete mess they also stained by new carpeting with their shoes after I specifically requested that they put either plastic down or wear booties. The machine was left with all the parts inside and not installed at all. When I ran it thinking it was installed it ran across my entire laundry room and ripped my new flooring. When I called to get help Mike Simon, the person that is supposed to remedy the issue said there was nothing he could do. After hiring a third party contractor to reinstall the machine he discovered that the machine drum was also broken making it inoperable. After several voicemails and attempts to reach a manager and Mike by both myself and my contractor, with no luck my hands are tied for any solution. DO NOT BUY FROM Santa Fe Home Depot.

Super helpful staff. They go out of their way to answer any questions and give expertise. I guess thats what really sets home depots apart from other hardware stores is the staff. This location does not fail in that department. The store is always very clean and well maintained with staff always available to assist. Like most retailers they depend heavily on self-checkouts now which at the end of the experience is not ideal.

To say my experience with purchasing carpets from this Home Depot location has been frustrating would be a gross understatement. They truly make this experience as difficult as possible. You cannot even go into Home Depot to pick up a carpet sample! And the people in the store are pulled in so many directions they do not have five minutes to spare to help a customer place an order. Ive been to the store three times now and over a month later I still havent been able to schedule a carpet installation. Id rather go down the street and pay 2x the price than deal with this terribly inefficient system.

Tool Rental Center is a joke. First time I used them I rented a truck. I returned it with 2 minutes to spare. They proceeded to ask me to hold on for 10 minutes then tried to charge me for an extra 15 minutes. Second time I rented, luckily I looked over the receipt, because they charge you for damage protection without your knowledge or stating that it’s an added cost. So incredibly shady.

Never been so insulted in my life. Im just a disabled USMC veteran, wandering around the store, trying to find everything on my list, when I get accused of shoplifting by an extremely disrespectful employee. A short, white, overweight male with short, dark hair & eyes, and no official uniform, physically accosts me in the store. He grabs my cart while accusing me of stealing something. He then tried to intimidate me into following him to sign some paperwork before bulling me out of the store. Ill never shop there again, & Ill spread the story of this incident for the rest of my life!

Do not order appliances here.We bought a fridge in store and paid for local delivery. The fridge never arrived. We called to ask when it was coming, and they told us it was actually cancelled and our card was refunded. When our card was never refunded, we had to call back. After very rudely telling us we never ordered the fridge there, they told us they actually mailed a check for a refund. Almost 2 weeks later and still have not received a check. Very disappointing from a place that I’ve always considered to be an honest and trustworthy store.

Asked for help with something from the top shelf. The gentleman helming me said he would be right back to get it for me. Stood around waiting and he never returned. Then as I was about to leave I say everyone standing in a group near the entrance just chatting with a couple cops. Finally, a gentleman with a limp came to help. Horrible customer service! This one is near my house, so when I need something desperately I have to go there. I would rather make the drive to Glendale or the Lakewood store. I called the store to find out if they carried a specific garage door remote keypad. The person I spoke with couldnt answer whether or not they did and when I asked for someone who would know he hung up on me. I called back and the manager on duty was slightly more helpful, but when I told him that one of his associates hung up on me he really didnt care. Ill do business with ACE Hardware. You won;t see me at Home Depot again.

Employees seem to be very slow. Maybe as if they are eating the time clock... At any rate its not a good idea to stop at this location unless you have a lot of time to waist. Not only due to slow service and a full wearhouse. The checkout lines or usually backed up from lack of cashier assistance. I got a drill set for a present and they wouldnt do an exchange all I wanted was store credit so I could get a different type of drill because I already have the ones that I got for a present but they wouldnt do it and the service here is questionable the young kids that work here dont know what theyre talking about and theyre not willing to help with questions or finding stuff I had two younger kids both tell me that they couldnt help me at that moment but theyd be back and they never came back I know a lot of kids these days dont want to go above and beyond and theyre lazy but the store could do a better job as far as training them

This is one of my favorite Home Depot stores in the Denver Metro area. They are easy access and a one stop shop for any job. They have all the tools and resources needed to GET THE JOB DONE! I would usually say I love the Home Depot on Santa Fe. However, their flooring services were NOT professional. I had paid for the type of flooring. The money was taken because I have a billing statement for it. But, they had claimed that it was not for paid. What had happened was that they had forgotten to mark my payment as paid and had not reached or done anything for 3 weeks. After they had fixed their ends, they later realized that the type of flooring I had paid was back-ordered. I am very disappointed.
