I had a wonderful experience at Krutlow Jewelers. I went in to have a necklace repaired. Marcus, the owner, was gracious and knowledgable, and fixed the necklace on the spot. He also fixed my watch free of charge. The prices seem very fair, and its great to see someone who is skilled at their craft this days. I will return.

Marcus serviced my outdoor Howard Miller wall clock. The hour hand was off my 30 minutes and the clock had to be disassembled with care and reassembled properly to ensure proper weather seal. I made an appointment with Marcus and although he was very busy, we has very committed to repairing the clock while I waited and it was restored to perfection. I highly recommend Krutolow!!!

I took my watch to get some links off, although i did not buy it there, Marcus was very friendly in giving pointers when purchasing watches online. He is old school and believes in building relationships in person, which I liked, getting to know his customers and their desires. Before going here, I went to 3 different jewelry stores looking to repair a broken link on my chain. They all told me it would be a 2 week wait, however, I could not do that due to the fact I was only in the area for a week. I brought in a pocket watch which was my grandfathers grandfathers. The watch no longer ticked, and was from a company which no longer exists. Krutolows made a new piece for the watch and returned it to me ticking the same as it would have in the 20s. Dont sell gold or diamonds here. Rude. Pushy. And a very low offer to buy my diamond and gold. I got double what they offered when I went to another store. and they were selling one of the same rings in there display for 5 times what they offered me. What a joke.

I was so happy to find Krutolow Jewelers when I did. My watch band had broken and it fell to the ground, scratching the face in the process. Marcus and Raul fixed the band, buffed the scuff marks off of the face, and I was on my way, all within 20 minutes. They are friendly and professional, and exactly what a family run business should be!

Honestly, I never leave reviews but Im so taken aback by my experience at this jeweler that I feel compelled to do so. My fiancé and I just got engaged yesterday and while celebrating with my family, we decided to stop in to my parents local jewelers to check to make sure the ring fit properly, as it felt a tiny bit snug. We thought we might just need it stretched, not fully resized, if possible. Straight away, the owner was condescending and combative, mocking us and even mocking my fiancés name. Unsure if that was just his way of conveying his dry sense of humor, but either way it was incredibly rude.After explaining that getting the ring completely resized was our only option, he proceeded to criticize everything about the ring. He questioned whether or not the diamond was GIA certified and wanted to see the certification which was irrelevant and insulting. When I showed the appraisal which listed all the details, he looked shocked, took my ring to the back, and examined it under his scope. He gave it back to me and rudely said well, I guess they lowered their standards.I suppose he was angry that we didnt purchase the ring from him, so he felt it appropriate to criticize and bring down a happy, young, newly engaged couple. We dont even live in the area. Its a shame because we likely would have given Krutolow Jewelers our business, but instead I left in near tears.

I have been taking my watches to them to get batteries replaced, and have gaskets and internal mechanisms repaired. They do a great job, and make sure not to scratch or damage the watches when doing so.

If you want honesty, New York prices, and knowledge in watches or diamonds, Marcus is the man to see. Ill be back.....
