The ring I bought is absolutely exquisite, and I am so happy with the customer service. I worked with Lindsay, and she could not have been more helpful in making sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase. I ordered my ring after seeing it online, and I live in South Carolina. Lindsay sent me sizers so that the ring fit perfectly, and sent me a video of the ring on her finger so that I could get a better concept of the size. I have never purchased jewelry online before. For a purchase of this size I would normally want to see it and meet the folks I’m purchasing from. But I found a necklace online while searching for black pearl necklaces and as much I searched, I kept coming back to one I found a JD. I started communicating via text with Nicole and she was great. Nicole P was amazing. She originally helped my fiancé design my engagement ring, then she helped me with my fiancé’s engagement ring. We loved them so much we had to reach out to her to help us design our wedding bands. We received them this morning and they look amazing by themselves and with our engagement rings. My experience was completely online, and I am so glad I trusted them. I ordered a custom wide-band ring, with custom metal and stones, and it was delivered on time even after a delay due to a small covid issue. So much so I made a special trip to Danbury to have the engagement ring created. Once I told my fiancé about them, she wanted them to make our bands. Due to moving to a humid climate and gaining some weight just used them to resize and restone a piece they made for me 3 and a half years ago.It arrived looking better than new completely stunning. Shipped to Florida for me and gave me updates along the way. I’ll certainly be using them for my 5th anniversary when I’ll get some custom pieces made for my wife and I.

This establishment is supposed to be able to handle custom jewelry but couldn’t handle a simple silver ring I wanted made. The woman that assisted me seemed very uneducated in every aspect. Overall experience was horrible. To be honest a total overpriced dump.

Jewelry Designs is one of the best jewelers Ive been to. They are super friendly, have unique, beautiful jewelry and such a great atmosphere. When you first walk in you see all of the jewelry artists hard at work designing and shaping their pieces. They have a nice bathroom as well as coffee and biscuits by a sitting area with a stone fountain. When you get into the main area you are greeted by the staff and helped as soon as you can be. They also offer to clean your ring and offer a flower to you at no expense. I highly recommend this place and you get nothing but the best, top quality.

JD was recommended to my boyfriend by a family friend.The whole experience was top notch. You initially walk through a glass hallway where you can see the craftsman working on someone’s future engagement ring or sentimental keepsake. We were greeted promptly and presented a carnation. We were there for an engagement ring design. I had my mother’s solitaire engagement ring and he had a ring from his grandmother. We wanted to see options in combining them somehow. Nancy was our salesperson that day and was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. I’m a very indecisive person but Nancy knew the key to showing me options and being able to narrow down until we created the most beautiful, perfect sentimental ring. They initially gave us a 4-6 week timeline but when my sneaky boyfriend asked if he could get it in two weeks so he could propose on our anniversary (Super Bowl), they delivered. I am so in love with my ring (oh yeah and my wonderful fiancé). I would highly recommend JD.

The challenge was to replicate my mother in laws lost Wedding ring to fit the original wedding band. The engagement ring had a main stone and 10 auxiliary stones, and the wedding band had another 6 auxiliary stones that wrap around the center diamond. Im so glad we drove from NYC to Jewelry Design, Bob Underhill and his staff took such good care of us and Im so pleased with my ring. When I first saw it, I was simply astonished, they did not only succeeded in replicating the ring, the added artistic details made it even more spectacular, beyond my expectations, it was just remarkable. My husband Michael and I are about to celebrate our 40th anniversary. About a year and a half ago I had to have my rings cut off. We came to Jewelry Designs to have them reset and as Nancy said today when I went in to have it cleaned “the ring is spectacular”. She helped us with designing a beyond beautiful ring, it is more than we thought possible. I also had my original wedding band reshaped into a heart and wear it around my neck. I purchased my wife’s engagement ring and wedding band from Kurt at Jewelry Designs. I was very impressed by his professionalism and the lack of pressure in his sales pitch. The ring arrived early this week and I was surprised with it at a dinner party! It is everything we both wanted and more! I think Bob was as anxious about my reaction as my husband and they were almost as thrilled as I was! I have not stopped looking at it since!

I am not the type to write reviews for anything, but I had a very bad experience with the management/customer service here. I went here due to the recommendation of my mother in law since she is a long time client. The first time I was there, I got my engagement ring sized. The guy I had recommended a 3.5 as the 3 was too small. After it was sized it was still loose. I came back to have it resized since the 3.5 was not working for me. The female I had gave me the option of getting a customized size 3.25. If I had the option in the first place, I wouldve gotten the custom sizing of 3.25 my first visit to avoid paying $150 the first time and then being charged an additional $180 the second time. I told the female it was not right that she was charging me more than the first time and the manager decided to only give me $10 off. I was upset i was not informed of all the options in the first place so wasted $150 on an incorrect size and was not going to be accommodated for my second visit. This place will not be getting my business and I will not recommend this place to anyone.

I have also bought my hubby to be custom designed band from them along with a second band to be worn daily. The customer service goes way beyond my expectations. For my now fiancé’s engagement ring, I wanted to do something special. I wanted to be able to customize a ring with gemstones and have some creative freedom. For most large ring retailers, this just isn’t possible. I stumbled across this place through Google. I live way across the country, in a completely different part of the U.S., so I wasn’t sure if they would work with me if it wasn’t in person. From the very start, they were top notch customer service and seemed incredibly happy to have my business. My contact was Nicole and she was absolutely wonderful to work with. Between many, many phone calls and emails, Nicole and I created the perfect ring for me fiancé. We will both be getting our bands from here after the amazing experience we had getting the engagement ring and will very likely be customers for many years to come.

My fiancé had my engagement ring designed and built here in the fall. The quality is excellent and their service is even better. I could not have been happier with how my ring turned out. I have a 4 prong setting, and this week I noticed the stone was loose. I brought it in and they immediately took it in the back to tighten the prongs and check all of the stones. They brought it out a few minutes later polished and tightened. JD takes pride in their work & value their customers- they’ve won our continued business.

Took a diamond from another jeweler to be tightened and the service was 5 stars from Richard and the repair took 10 minutes since the jeweler is right on-site to do the repairs and it didn’t have to be shipped out. Will definitely go back for our next purchase of fine jewelry.
