I like what Microsoft is doing with its workshops. Todays workshop was all about coding 101. They really know how to engage their young audience. Heavily investing in MSFT Stock because Microsoft will keep doing great!

Most of the time we just come in with the kids to hang out and play some games but the place is always very clean and staff is super knowledgeable. We did buy few thing here and anytime you have a question or need a recommendation, there is always somebody to help you out. Great place.

I was surprised to see this Microsoft store which is across from the Apple store. It has a full complement of devices that run Windows software and there accessories such as speakers, keyboards,mouse, cables, displays and chargers. Also have Xbox, controllers, and games. The staff is super knowledgeable not just about the hardware but Als the applications. On the top end MS Surface that was setup with several graphics packages a representation was able to come over a demo how a unique round device could control the options on the graphics package and even could be placed on the display to open even more control.options. Very impressive store.

Great Service, Well Organized and Clean. I have been a customer for years. Tech help awesome. People friendly and helpful. Recommend to Veterans, and to people who dont know anything about computers or newest technology. Veterans Discounts Apply. Easier than fighting online with any tech support if things seem confusing. I love this store and employees. It may not have the pretentious hipster vibe of an Apple store, but everyone is friendly, they offer great camps for kids, and are so helpful. I bought a laptop for my daughter, and they said if you gave trouble seeing it up, then come back to the store and theyll help... dont need to make an appointment. Ill take friendly helpful service any day over wanna-be special snobs.

The Microsoft store at the Danbury Fair mall is staffed by friendly and knowledgeable associates. There are all sorts of systems on display, from intense gaming systems to tiny surface laptops. My kids liked it because they were able to sit and play a couple of matches of fortnite in the Microsoft stores gaming setup, gaming chair, keyboard, headphones, etc. The associates had no problem letting them play while I looked around. If you are looking for PC systems or windows laptops, this is a great place to start.

Professional services paired with excellent specifications of the products are the best environment for computer related services! All my questions were answered over and over until I could grasp the concepts! All what I wanted to see and put my hand on were available on the floor and they helped me with the customization as far as I needed to get! I needed help to load everything to my car@ and they have even helped me with that! This was a great experience! Thank you!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this store. A year ago I purchased a Surface Go. The time Mandy took to explain the models and set up was great! When I came back for a service call a year later (I cracked my screen), the service desk had already looked up all my information and had everything completed within 15 minutes. Not only that but Mandy was there and remembered what I had purchased and my profession. This store is WONDERFUL!!! From the sales people to tech support I cannot speak more highly of everyone there.

Its a nice enough store and the people are helpful. Ive been in there many times but never purchased anything. I do buy Windows laptops from time to time so its not like Im an Apple person or anything like that.

I traveled a considerable distance to buy my tablet because the entire staff was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Ive returned several times with questions about using using my Surface Pro. I am more than satisfied with the time and efforts spent on my needs and concerns. They made sure I had the ideal set up accommodating my particular comfort zone. I highly recommend the Danbury Microsoft Store to anyone who is thinking about buying or upgrading a computer. I was filled with doubt and insecurity before discovering this store.

Worst experience I have had in a while. My laptop started updating to Windows 10 on its own and the battery died during the update. Laptop was rendered useless. Brought it to the Microsoft store and was told it would be $150 to fix it. Files would be restored and Windows 10 would be installed. When I questioned why I had to pay because the software caused the problem I was informed it was because Microsoft couldnt Pin-Point that the update was the cause of the issue. WHAT ELSE COULD IS POSSIBLY BE? Computer was working fine before the update. Why am I paying anything? Your product failed. I was told that services had to be rendered so money had to be paid. Let me repeat YOUR PRODUCT FAILED.Called Microsoft to complain (waited on hold for 1H and 15min) and was informed they could do nothing and I had to go back to the store.This experience was so bad and left me so upset with the lack of customer service, faulty products and accountability I will NEVER EVER spend another nickel on a Microsoft product.A message to Microsoft - You should be ashamed in yourself.My advice - Buy a Mac

I have received the best tech support from an agent at the Mall store by the name of Nick. He was professional, knowledgeable and patient. I also observed the other sales people on the floor and they all seemed to perform with excitement and always smiling.i would highly recommend this Microsoft facility to any and everyone.My thanks to Nick and others.

I am VERY disappointment with the tech service that I received. First, I brought in my laptop for a virus check, nothing was done, I had to bring it back. Then I waited 5 days before I called to see if it was ready. Once again, nothing was done right with the computer. I still am having trouble with the laptop. This is a new computer brought in January. I am not sure they know what they are doing. VERY UNHAPPY

Such a cool store, my family (including me) went to this store on the way back from Washington. Its such an interesting store, really like Windows computers.

Very interactive store with a bunch of things to play with and try. I like their variety of VR devices and multi-monitor/wide displays. They have kids classes on kid-size tables. And they have a decent selection of accessories, work-related stuff, and XBox games. They have even had an interactive robot here before! Staff has always been nice and helpful.

Very good store with surprisingly good prices. Even better then what I could find on the web for the specific unit I bought.Sales staff could be a bit better trained though as they didnt know what x86, x64 and RT was and the difference between them which is rather dire.Overall though liked shopping at the store and hope its successful and Microsoft rolls more out.

While browsing the Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality products on display, a sales rep hurried up to me in protest about picking up and examining the Hololense headgear. Although it was connected via wires to a dual monitor PC, and sitting on a small platform labeled demo unit, the rep was adamant that the product was not to be touched... Guess I will take my dollars elsewhere.

Its nice, and big, and shiny, but it lacks a focus. I dont know what is new or what is Microsoft versus a partner or just some random thing they think is neat.On to of that I recently asked if they had an item in stock, was told no, and then moments later told they had 2 by someone else.Its just a big guessing game.

If possible try to avoid Microsoft stores at all, disappointing and unpleasant experience. I went to fix my surface device.Customer service representative just doesnt want to feel your need and goes by the book of rules. Maybe I just had a bad luck with the rep, but when another gentelman came in (with kinder look), I was already leaving the store in tears. I think big company such as Microsoft should invest more funds and training into customer support program, because regardless of the technology, loyal customers are the still best assets. Good luck to anyone who needs technical support with their Microsoft devices.

Very Helpful staff. Had an issue with a Lenovo Yoga that I could not figure out. Even though I did not purchase it there they fixed me right up within 15 minutes. They also fixed a couple issues with my wifes dated computer to help it along for a little longer. My only complaint is that they are in the Mall. Lol . Again Great place.

The staff here are super helpful - whether youre checking out new tech or looking to troubleshoot an issue with your existing gear. Theyre very knowledgeable about all of their products and their tech team helped diagnose an issue I had with an older piece of hardware.

Pretty cool Shop with a lot of cool Electronics. Personally speaking I like their staff better than I do those at the Apple Store itself, plus they now have an HTC Vive demo up in the front of the store that they let you actually try out. That alone is pretty darn cool. Ive been on the fence about going into the VR setup with my own computer and they basically sold me on doing it. Definitely likely to go there to buy my stuff when Im ready to actually do the upgrade

I have been at this store a few times already but the same things keep happening. I booked an appointment and still had to wait 20+ minutes. Sometimes there are others who have been waiting longer than me. They usually have about 4 of the staff at the front of the store with their bright MS shirts on but use going through the motions of looking busy. After talking to about 10 of the employees there who say they know the products, I think only 2 (say jr-sr level tech)really know what they are talking about.

Wasnt impressed witg the general attitude.As one exaeple, we were there looking around the store with my 9 year ol .He asked me if he could use the VR while I stood by to watch. This was just a regular headset..not behind the ropes. I looked and it was available for trying with nn indication of special rules. I helped him with the set. After 5 minites of casual play, a representative walks up and in an angry tone says He cant use that. She then proceeds to reach out and physically take the headset off my son. I would have been happy to be informed of the rules and help the set off him but was not given the choice. It really ruined our visit being scolded. You need to be 13 or over to use the set and that is totally ok... especially if there is any indication of the rules. There were no posted rules...just agressivde and rude representative...polar opposite from our apple store experience. My son was upset because he thought he did something wrong.
