I highly recommend El Patron in Crystal Lake IL. I started using them 5 years ago when a car failed the IL Emissions Test. Manny got it fixed and passed and at a price much less then others quoted. He has kept my family fleet of 3 Toyotas running and save me a LOT of money over the years. The best example I can give is I had a 1998 Camry with 200,000 miles on it and Manny kept it running much longer than I ever expected.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, QUALITY WORK AT REASONABLE REPAIR PRICES.

Stay away!!!! These people are rig they dont take care of your cars very dirty work and I didnt feel as if the price was any cheaper than anywhere else. if youre the type of person like me that likes to take care of their cars and keep them clean scratch free then do not bring your vehicles here brought my car here for some work came out a total disaster currently my car is not even running as good as it was running when i first brought it. oil stains in the inside of my car scratches fender covers/plastic seat cover/paperfloor mats come a long way. and on top of that I am now experiencing more problems then i ever had with my car came in for a simple exhaust job came out screwed.

Manny and his team are the best shop around. My boss referred me cause El Patron is where he takes all of his personal and our fleet trucks. I havent gone anywhere else since. Great service for price that is unbeatable and my vehicle is done way before I expect. Quality is quality and that is what you will get at this shop.

Friendly, honest people who do good work. Ive used this place several times. And, anytime they have run into something unexpected, which always happens when you dig into older cars, they phone first and ask me first. They work later hours and on Saturdays. Very positive place.

Owning a late model Saab, finding OEM parts is a challenge and pricey. After shopping around for the best value for an exhaust system, I brought my car to Manuel over at El Patron. I wanted to increase the exhaust to increase the performance of the car. Manny reviewed my car and told me it wouldn’t really work without extensive work. Understanding what I wanted, he was able to increase the exhaust within the limits of the car. He even found a new exhaust tip for my muffler to really improve the finished look of the car. It was well within my budget and he turned the car around in 1 day. I would highly recommend having him take a look at your car. I’ll be back for tires and alignment next.

This was a great find!! If you want a no hassle basic car care, truck care, maintenance of any kind to your vehicle, this shop is straight forward, bare bones and best prices over the big guys within 20-30 mile radius. I called for a quick tire rotation. Had me in by the time I drove over and was completed within 15-20 mins..... Nice and cordial staff and management. Highly recommend!!

I have had many different jobs done by them and i have to say that Im very happy with there work.From an oil change to a transmission replacement it always turned out good.These are people that you can talk to and they sand behind there work.They dont sale you repair work that you dont need or that you dont want.There prices are the best in our area. We were recommended this place by a close family friend. We have an old beater with a heater that most places wanted far more than what the car was worth to get ot fixed. They were quoting us $2,000, $3,000, for basic work we could do ourselves if we had the right space to do it in. (We live in an apartment and arent allowed to work on cars in the parking lot). We took it to El Patron feeling defeated and worrying about how we were going to get a new car if things didnt play out. There, Manny took the car, looked over it for us, and then called us back up to the counter. We were super worried. He looks at us and goes, so I took a look at your car and its going to be about six... instantly we freaked out. Thousand?! We both asked. Manny laughed a little. Sorry its been a long day. I meant $600. We were so stunned, we signed the paper work and had our car fixed. That night we went home in our car, the exhaust had been completely fixed as well as a few other issues. Then, the next day we brought it back and had Manny swap out the radiator that had been started going bad for a little while at that point. Their quality of work was amazing, their pricing was amazing, and most of all, they treat their customers like family. He and his team were patient and kind, they answered all our questions, and while we were waiting for our car to be fixed, we got to see them interact the same way with all of their other customers too, and we knew it wasnt a show just for us.
