Just received my sectional Sofa from the store above. It took 13wks for it to arrive, but it was definitely worth it. My sales rep was so helpful.

Exceptional selection and service and very competitive pricing! The staff here (especially Jane) are amazing and spent many hours with us selecting furniture for our new home. Not only did they provide an amazing knowledge of the products, but also a very keen sense of design, colors, and space. We never felt any pressure to buy and they were very patient with us as we navigated the hundreds of color/fabric options available. Great experience!

Overall I had a very pleasant experience at Sofas ETC. They have great variety of living room furniture and the prices were surprisingly affordable. The sales person that greeted me was very patient with me and helped me find the perfect sectional for my room. I highly recommend checking this store out. The best furniture store in Maryland!

She got my style and helped me put together a beautiful sectional and pillow combination. Because Im indecisive by nature, she even put my order on hold, on her day off, so I could come back and look at the fabric choices again. Brian and Jeremy were also unbelievably wonderful. They went above and beyond to get a delivery truck out to my area just so I could get my sofa in time for company at my new house! I have bought several pieces of furniture at Sofas ETC through the years. When my sons bought their own homes we gave them sofas from this store. Recently I decided to redo my living and dining rooms. I was not looking forward to that task. Jane waited and guided me through the process. Jane is extremely pleasant to work with and has a excellent sense of style! She helped me to select a sofa, chair, rug, fabrics, art and other furnishings.The delivery people also were great. They delivered all of the furnishings, set the room up, and cleaned up after the task was complete! Thank you Jane for your outstanding service and your great eye for design! Visited the store hoping to find a recliner that would help alleviate discomfort in the cervical and lumbar areas. We were greeted by Janis who showed us all of the many choices and insisted that I sit in each chair. Interestingly enough, each chair was indeed different. When I selected the model she showed us the leather and wood types. She offered helpful suggestions along the way. The chairs are expensive, but you really do get what you pay for . The quality is obvious. I can only hope that the chair is as pleasant to sit in as Janis was to us during the sale. Im confident that I will enjoy this chair for years to come

I have bought a lot of furniture from sofas Etc over many years. The store carries a nice blend of high-end and moderate furniture. The salespeople are first-rate and the prices are very reasonable.

We had an issue with our custom bed. They worked with us until it was right. Their customer service was great. Michelle Greenberg took care of us, start to finish.

Whenever we seem to need something for the house, we do a little looking around, but find the best quality at Sofas ---we are always leery of others where you get what you pay for. Go to Sofas and you wont be disappointed!

Sofas ETC has a lovely selection of furniture. I especially enjoy the items that are not sofas (pictures, lamps and tables). I have been a customer at both locations for many years and have had great experiences.

Bad Experience! I gave Sofas, ETC one star because we was greeted when we came into the store. At first I was fine with Jane, the sales rep ... that is until we told her we had just started looking at sofas and that we had been next door to the Indore Furniture Store, and we just started looking. Unfortunately, she put me off right off the bat when she made derogatory remarks about the other other furniture store next door (Indoor Furniture) telling us telling us that their furniture was not well made and that they are NOT designers. Well, I was insulted because pieces at the Indoor Furniture Store. We happen to like that store, but I was willing to give Sofas, ETC. a look. I do not like when sales people go negatative on their competition. I find that kind of attitude annoying and rude. Tell me how great your store and furniture is but dont tear down the competition. I should have walked out immediately but I thought Id give her another chance. When I said that some of the sofas at her store were not right for me becaus, being 5 ft tall I sat back my legs shoot straight out and my feet dont touch the floor. Her answer to my problem was to do as she does. She said, well, you can sit the way I do, and cross your legs and face sideways or you can put pillow behind you back. Really, Im going to spend hundreds of dollars and still not be comfortable? I have to make accommodations? I dont think so ... I found the whole experience unpleasant.

Ive been shopping for a new sofa and checked out 3 places in Columbia. This store had the nicest selection of the three I visited but the prices were the highest. You do get a wide selection of fabrics for both the sofa and the throw pillows. I dont know anything about the quality of the sofas but the staff was very friendly and made a number of decorating suggestions. As youre basically building a custom sofa, it takes 10 weeks for delivery and as I was hoping to get something sooner, I did not purchase from them.

I cant understand all the positive reviews of this place. We were there this morning and it was the worst shopping experience of any kind weve ever had. Ive never actually left a negative review online before, but I couldnt let this experience pass. The staff was right on top of us the entire time--what am I going to do, steal a couch?--and when I asked if they had any fabrics without flame retardants, I was basically treated like an ignorant child and told that doesnt exist because its the law. It isnt the law, and many companies are phasing them out. In fact, upon walking further into the store, I found a Rowe Furniture sign with their Eco symbol on it, which a 10 second google search shows that those fabrics are made without flame retardants. I heard the sales person and manager (?) talking about my question, so I pointed out the Rowe Eco symbol to the manager, who wouldnt even do me the courtesy of turning around to face me. She sat behind the desk with her back to me, said I know the law and then stopped acknowledging that I was talking to her. As a polite, 40-year-old adult who was willing to drop significant money on their furniture, I cant understand what my husband and I did to deserve such a rude, patronizing attitude. Furthermore, why would you choose to be willfully ignorant of the products in your own store? We will certainly never set foot in that store again, and will tell everyone in my community (I live right down the road) about this experience.

Very helpful salesperson (Janice). No pressure, let me look around without bothering me. Much different from the store next door where they followed me all over the store, kept interrupting me speaking to my partner, and just wouldnt give me a second to myself. I finally left and glad I stopped by sofas, etc. I ended up buying my furniture here.

So far our experience has been great. The furniture was on time, the delivery men were pleasent, nice and very fast.We didn’t ordered much, and we’ve only had it for a month but so far we havent had any problems with them. For the price it was a great deal. If you want unique, high quality looking furniture at a reasonable price, Sofas Etc. is worth looking in to.

My wife and I went looking for a new rocker/recliner and visited about four or five different places, including Sofass etc. We discovered the Stressless recliner with ottoman and knew that we would end up buying it. A few of the places we visited were also Stressless dealers and we could have bought from any of them but chose Sofas etc over the others hands down because of their obvious superior integrity and knowledge of the product over the other stores. Yes, the others would know how to take our order and would be very happy to do so. However, the others didnt come close to offering the personableness and easygoing style and in-depth knowledge we got from Sofas etc.So, like I said, it was a no-brainer to buy from Sofas etc and are very glad we did. We have told others thats where they should go and will definitely go there first from now on.
