Great place to shop for furniture. They have a large selection, reasonable prices, and warranties to insure your product lasts. Had a minor glitch when receiving product but management made it right in a timely manner. You guys have definitely earned my recommendation and future business 😊

I needee a full sized mattress for a guest bed that wont be used much so didnt need or want to pay for a top quality one from a big box store. Moose, in the Vandiver Dr. Columbia store, took me to a mattress currently on sale that fit the bill, and brought it right out and put it in the back of my suv. Very satisfied. Thanks Moose!

Ron and Dylan were great at explaining options. They were very personable. It was delivered after the store closed and was very important to have it immediately. My husband was quite ill and weak. He needed the lift chair.

A one star is definitely to high of rating. Very poor service I was told one thing on the phone and definitely a different story when I got to the store. I will not be back and I would not recommend this store to anyone because of the dishonesty.

Ive bought a few things through Midwest Clearance and Im always impressed both by the selection, and the friendliness of staff. This isnt a high pressure store where they push you to buy-buy-buy! Instead, were often helped my Moose who answers all of our questions with ease and helps us find just what were looking for!Ill come back here again & again for my furniture needs!

I bought a king bed frame and box springs last July. I absolutely love the gray buttoned upholstered bed frame. Moose helped me browse options virtually and within the store. The friendliness is very appreciated and he was knowledgeable of inventory, options, delivery time, etc. After I ordered the frame and left the store, accepting it will arrive 6-8 weeks later bc of COVID causing manufacturing issues, Moose messaged me ONE WEEK LATER that he got the frame shipped from another store and I could come pick it up!! It was very exciting and his customer service is phenomenal. I will return to buy more furniture when it’s time :)

I was looking for an adjustable bed base, so I stopped in to see what was available through Midwest Clearance. I was met by Ron who was so helpful with what I as looking for. Very friendly and knowledgeable about his in stock products. The store is very clean and setup nicely. This is the second purchase from this store and I know it wont be the last. And, I forgot to mention, the cost was half the price of other stores, very good quality. Extremely satisfied on all counts.

We drove by Midwest clearance center in Columbia MO two weeks ago and we were welcomed by made Xavier. We decided to come back because after going to Ashley homestore and others furniture stores in town, the Midwest clearance center was definitely cheaper, nicer and welcoming. We will be back for more brand new and affordable furniture. Xavier is a good salesperson and he is a good addition to the store (a manager told us he was new)!!!

I had an excellent experience. We were greeted as we walked through the door. The sales associate was very friendly not pushy at all. He explained the sale and then let us shop. We found what we were looking for and he was then easy to find to help with questions and cost. Will go back to Midwest Clearance Center for all of our future Furniture and Mattress needs!!!!

We had never heard of this store, and decided to stop in. We were looking at 1 bedroom set. David was so nice at Fenton- very helpful and knowledgeable about every set we looked at- we looked at 4 different ones and couldn’t decide! We finally decided to buy 2 sets, along with new mattress! Every single thing from our first visit to showroom, deciding and getting our items delivered, Midwest Clearance Center did not disappoint! We will go there for our next mattress or furniture needs in the future!

We ordered a couch back in late July. We have been calling every few weeks since October to see when the couch would be in and every time we speak to someone the date is pushed further and further back. It is now November. I just called again. I was told It wouldn’t be available until Dec 19th. Horrible service, I would absolutely NEVER purchase from this company again. There is no excuse for a 5 month wait.

The best place to purchase an exceptional quality mattress in Columbia. The choice and price was great along with the best customer service I’ve had in years. Called before I went to assure item was on hand. I did call a second time and it was researched and was in stock. Nice to know since I drove 50 miles. I also shopped for sofas. Roney was very knowledgeable and helpful. There were lots of customers to accommodate and he took care of all.

Had a great experience here in columbia! I came in for a split king box spring for my new matress and was thrilled to find they had exactly what I needed. After purchasing my box spring, I got loads of help loading and making sure everything was secure for my 40min drive. After doing some browsing we will definitely be back to buy more stuff for our new home!

We shopped around a lot of places and this place is by far the best place ever! They had the nicest people by far the best prices for name brand furniture. Ask for Jon he’s very helpful but will not pressure you or follow you around.. We bought an Ashley sectional and recliner that we love so comfortable and kid and pet friendly. The same sectional was at the Ashley store for $1000 more.. ❤️❤️❤️

0 STAR RATING!!!!!I purchased a queen sized bed frame, box spring, mattress & dresser March 2nd 2019 that cost about $900-1,000 I can’t remember exactly how much I paid in full. During the time of the purchase obviously the customer service was great & everything moved very faced paced to get delivered to me. 4 weeks later my box spring began squeaking. I contacted who I was told the store manager & he guaranteed my issue would be resolved I spent literally 2 months calling & going to this store to get my issue resolved! Not once did anyone reach out to me I was always the one reaching out trying to gain a clear understanding on exactly what was going on. Eventually my old box spring was swapped out with a cheaper metal frame while the manager swapped out the box spring he notices HIS movers did not correctly put my bed frame together. I was not satisfied because this new metal frame due to the fact it sits lower than the original frame but the supervisor again promises that the correct box spring will be ordered & delivered tothe store in about a week & he would be in contact with me. Again there was no communication on his end I had to call every week for 6 weeks & I would always get the run around to the point I no longer wanted services at this point I wanted everything to be returned & I now want a full refund because this is now beyond ridiculous! I should get my money’s worth, if things were done correctly the 1st time I wouldn’t have had to contact the store multiple times but on top of that I’m not calling weekly & pretty much being ignored not to mention when I did call the sales representative found the audacity to raise his voice at me. I’ve contacted Better Business Burl because that was completely unacceptable & obviously unprofessional behavior is acceptable at this place. I would never recommend nor purchase from this place ever again.

Helpful, relaxed, sales people who don’t try to shame you into choosing a more expensive mattress.I was shocked to find out that even 13” thick mattresses with springs come rolled in a box and loaded right into your car.We love the new mattress & it cost half of what I expected to pay.

The workers were very nice ... the building was great too nice show room ..I was looking for something I could possibly get quick I ordered a sofa chase (steel blue ) I was shown on a big nice screen color and style options I could get ... u was told 7-10 days u would of thought I ordered art from Paris over 4 weeks passed I never got a update call the whole wait... I called several times every time they would say the next week . They delivered free for the wait time my couch was delivered in a box wrapped in plastic and a bag with legs which have to be drilled to the frame .... there is a 8”-10 size piece of wood glued to the lower right corner as well ... this had to be the worst experience ever I recommend if buying from them u talk to a manager before paying and get a real estimate time ...

This place is a hidden gem. I have spend more hours than Id like to count running around making comparisons and saving every dollar possible. Not only did they beat the Big Box Stores in price, they proceeded to WOW me with their customer service, delivery and follow up after the sale. They have made a customer for life. Looking for a full bedroom set for a move and found exactly what I wanted. I knew I would have to wait, due to a Covid, but I had about a month before i moved, so no big deal. When I was told that some parts were not going to be in until mid-August, they were willing to come out and bring my dresser early so I wouldnt have to live out of boxes for two weeks. Didnt matter anyway because everything arrived right on time. Installers were friendly and professional. Have a second bedroom to set up and I will be using MCC again!

My husband had called a couple of days before I went up there. They were so polite when I arrived at the store both employees aggravated me into the warehouse share their names with us and and then how Payless try to figure out our new rooms and what would fit, and that is something we would all enjoy and were also giving away small flower pots for Mothers Day so my kids can plant their favorite veggies in the garden and also told them they would take time out to show them a few tricks. They really felt like family I love them and I will continue doing business with them and sending all my family and friends to them as well thank you for all if your help!!! And one of the cool things about them is they will remove your old furniture to a room you choose or to or out to your trash area!I absolutely love them so kind and helpful that will be my to go place for now on!!!!

Amazing service with the best prices in town!

Im not very happy with my experience in Columbia. I purchased a love seat and rocker recliner, via telephone, mid-May 2020, and was told that everything would be in by June 1st; that was fine. I called on June 3rd for an update. I was told they would call me back that day; I did not get a call.I called back on June 4th and was told that the recliner was in, but, the love seat arrival got pushed back to July 17th. Although, I was annoyed, I accepted it and asked if I could at least have the recliner delivered as soon as possible. I was told that the recliner could be delivered on June 6th (today), and that someone from the delivery department would call me on June 5th to nail down a time for the delivery.Come 5:40p (the store closes at 6p) on the 5th, I had yet to receive a call, so I called the store. I was transferred to the delivery department, no one answered. I immediately called the store back. I was told they could deliver it that night, however, I was not available, as I was expecting the delivery on the 6th. So, we set up a 6ish p.m time for the delivery on the 6th.On June 6th, I receive a call from the store at 5:16p. The guy told me he had unfortunate news in that he would not be able to deliver the recliner as his girlfriends truck was out of commission, due to her running over a curb. Furthermore, his truck was also in the shop. I told him that my patience had worn thin, and that I wanted a refund. I will be going to the store tomorrow, June 7th, 2020, to get a refund.This experience has been very disappointing. Im not sure why there isnt a company truck to deliver items. Now Ill have to furniture shop elsewhere. In the time that was wasted, I couldve already picked something else out.

Had a good experience in store, friendly, very reasonably priced. Delivery was a week later then originally told. I Never got a call to arrange a delivery time, I called them the Saturday morning when I was originally told everything would be delivered and they told me then it was pushed back a week. I called again the next Saturday morning and wasnt on the schedule, but they put me in afterwords. They delivered the wrong sized box spring, which they fixed the next day which I definitely appreciate, but a bit of a headache that night.

Stumbled across them on Facebook and decided to go in and give them a look to see what they were all about and I was not dissapppinted! They had great bedroom furniture, kitchen tables, couches, sectionals, mattresses, etc! The staff was very knowledgeable and were extremely nice and helpful! My favorite part? The prices were absolutely great! It was my first time going in there, but it’s definitely not gonna be my last!

First time buying new furniture and they made it so easy. Whitney was super helpful and so was the gentleman at the warehouse who helped us load the furniture into our truck. Drove three hours to do business with them if that tells you anything!

I stumbled upon this ad on Facebook after searching for a twin bed for my son. There are many places in Columbia but in my opinion overprice their twin beds. We went in and was greeted by Michael who explained their company and what kind of furniture they have. He then asked what we’re looking for and showed us the beds and we chose the bed we liked, picked out a bed frame and base. He gave us a quote and we picked it up the next day. They had everything in stock and it was simple and easy. Everyone in there was so nice! Michael wasn’t there when we picked up our bed but we appreciate his help and everyone else’s help. They didn’t upsell us or try to add extra things we didn’t need or want. We went in and got out in less than an hour. I would highly recommend!

We shopped around the Columbia area at multiple stores for a reclining loveseat. We found exactly what we were looking for at Midwest. The loveseat is very nice and the price was great.

Price was reasonable, delivery, no actual set up. I had to assemble the couch (put the legs on it.) They just left this huge couch in box with shipping box and wrap in the middle of my living room, and left! I didnt have the proper tools or muscle strength to assemble it, had to call a neighbor to help.

I absolutely love the Yeti mattress and metal base I bought from MCC. I’ve been buying furniture from Joe and his crew for over 10 years. I’ve sent many friends and family to MCC over the years and everyone of them have been satisfied with their purchases.

Not very happy!Went in to make my second purchase after paying off first purchase months earlier. My card was charged twice for the down payment and when I called the store I was basically referred to American First Financing for my refund. When I contacted them I was told that the salesperson at the store name to remain anonymous (it was the stores mistake they cancelled a transaction that already went through!) Doing this charged my card twice! American Financing was more help then the salesperson.. this all could have been avoided if they would have called first and talk to the financing company instead of charging my card twice. No apologies from the store. I am considering cancelling my order now this is not good customer service!

Seemed to be a good place at first but experienced a lot of issues! First off for financing, they offer two options, one where you provide your banking information and they check the history which can have interest rates of 168%, or the option to finance through a credit line that offers much lower interest rates. The customer service representative of course just asked for the banking information and had I not asked for the other I would have been charged much more interest, they seemed less than thrilled to try to help me pick the smartest financial option and seemed annoyed with the amount of questions I asked. The couch was supposed to be delivered the next week and upon calling to check they informed me that half of the sectional didn’t come in so had to wait another week. I informed them whenever I bought it that it would not be delivered to my billing address, and they never wrote it down and the delivery truck showed up at the wrong location and was rude to my roommates saying “have her text me the address so I can go on with my day.” Once they arrived to the correct address, they bring in a recliner that I didn’t order. I found the receipt and saw a recliner was on the order and I had never wanted that, so now I have a recliner, and it’s smarter to keep it because if you return it they will charge a 15% fee of the item. The delivery gentleman were clearly frustrated about going to the wrong address and asked who’s fault that was, and informed him it would be his boss. They threw their tools around on the floor trying to assumble the sectional and they were not knowledgeable with the product as my boyfriend had to help them put it together, while I still have to pay a 69.00 delivery fee. I won’t ever be doing business with them again.
