I left my car over night and already paid for my 4 new tires. They tell me to come back at 9 am the next day just to pick it up. Its 9:30am now and they havent even started on my vehicle. Im upset now because its costing me money as Ive planned my schedule around the time they promised me. Ive seen multiple customers come in after me and have already left. I will not be coming back to this disappointing location as the employees seem unable to communicate effectively

I was highly disappointed in the services I received on 10/13/2021 at the Chamblee location (4900 Peachtree Rd). I went to Discount Tires to get my tires replaced. I purchased three brand new tires.My visit began by standing in line for 25 mins. This is after I set up an appointment online. The work on my car took longer than the suggested one hour even though I had a reservation. I know staffing is short during Covid, and I can understand the wait, but it took a big chunk out of my day. This was not the worst part.When the service tech came out, he whispered to the sales tech. I knew something was wrong because he looked at me and shook his head. The salesperson mentioned the tire stud was cross-threaded and broke.They claimed it was due to the previous person who put on the tire. I was extremely skeptical that they did not even mention the possibility that they could have been the ones when they broke the tire stud. Especially since they said they were understaffed, and errors can occur.When I asked to talk to a manager, they sent someone over who did not introduce themself as the branch manager. He was not that much help. Even worse, they lost my hub cap logo on my tire. After 10 minutes of discussion, we had to find out it was placed in the trunk with my spare tire.It is hard to accept this level of service after I spent over $400 buying tires. I have been a customer for over 5 years, and I expected more.

This is a great place to purchase and replace your tires. I’ve purchased and scheduled it online at the time convenient for me. The service was very professional, and I was even upgraded for free to a higher brand tires because my tires weren’t yet delivered. The entire experience in-and-out was 45 minutes. That includes all 4 tires replaced and balanced. Highly recommend. Great guys and great company standards!

Tyreece was amazing. I had a late appointment that corporate screwed up somehow, so it wasn’t in the system. He went above and beyond to ensure that my vehicle was still accepted same day, 30 minutes before closing. Highly recommend.

I needed new tires and Discount Tire was convenient. Price was reasonable and they got the tires on quickly.The front office guys were friendly but slow moving. Understaffed and under motivated.I seriously think I spent more time in line waiting to pick up my vehicle than it did to replace the tires.If you use this Discount Tire have some patience ready.

Its funny to say, I love my new tires! (But I do!) I called, spoke to Drew, and he advised me on a couple sets of tires that would work for my Lincoln SUV. He saved me money, and offered me great service. They reserved my tires, and I made an appointment. I was so surprised that it took about 30 min, at most, to get my tires purchased, and put on the car. David explained the reasons these are great tires for my vehicle, and I feel assured that I made the right decision. Thanks to Discount Tires! I appreciate the service. I love how my SUV drives!

First off, Id start by saying Ive had great experiences from every other discount tire Ive ever been to. These guys just dont have their game together. They had my vehicle for 3 days, lost one of my tires I ordered weeks in advance, threw out one of my old tires I asked to keep as a spare, told me my vehicle was ready when it wasnt and IF they pick up the phone, they take on average 20+ minutes to do so. I understand theyre busy, were all busy but this is just very poor business management. Save yourself a trip and just go to a different Discount Tire.

They were fast and thorough. Showed me exactly what I needed and why I needed it. No pressured upsell. Very busy right now, so I made an appointment, and they finished my car really quickly.

Were able to install 4 new wheels and run flat tires on my bimmer, and even price matched over $50 per tire to a competitor I found! Service done in 1.5 hours like they promised! I’ve always come here for my other vehicle, won’t go anywhere else for tires here too! thank you John and company

Just seems that they were a bit unorganized.. I was in the store and was told I should make an appointment online.. Having a Hospitality background, you probably should handle person to person contact a bit better than just turning them away by saying go online..

Was very busy but I dropped my tire off and returned in the morning to pick it up. Tyreece was very helpful. The techs put the wrong tire on my rim and he caught it and it was corrected before I left.

I had a very poor experience at the store located 4900 Peachtree Rd in Atlanta, GA. All I needed was a simple tire replaced. One tire. They at first quoted me a 3 and a half hour wait. Dropped my car off there around noon. Got a text at 3:30pm that my car was ready for pick up. When I arrived to the shop they told me it was going to be another hour and a half until my car was ready. 5 hours all to change one single tire!?! And why tell me it was ready and then when I got there I had to wait another hour and a half?! Absolutely ridiculous. And of course nothing was done for me, just a “sorry we’re busy.” I will never be returning to a discount tire ever again.

Sales associate Yanni went above and beyond to ensure I was secure with my purchase and the drive on my Mercedes. Definetly wont go anywhere else and will ask for him specifically if offered the chance!

Incredible service is all I can say. My visits to location are highly review-elastic. Hence, once I saw I my tire was flat, I perused locations closest to me with the best reviews. Discount Tire stood at the helm of that list (with 4.5) so it was a no-brainer to head down there.True to the reviews, the service I received was excellent. The orderliness and candor of DT’s system and staff is remarkable. I had a flat tire, but not too flat, and knew that at the very most, it’ll require a patching. The last time I patched one of my tires, I paid about $50, so I assumed my budget for this repair would be around that range.The person who helped me (Ty, I think) estimated a wait time of about one hour and a half which was perfect timing between the time I handed over the keys and when the text came in that the car was set. To my surprise, the staff who walked me through the repairs that were done on the car said I didn’t need to pay. The tire was successfully patched, pressures checked and wheels rebalanced with no need to pay whatsoever.The only thing which I jokingly thought seemed dubious was his last comment that “we hope to see you soon if you need a tire change.” Maybe they already know I’m gonna need one soon, or set me up for it? 😂 Whatever happens, I’m gonna be coming back and recommending this place to people. Truly grateful for their commitment to customer care and passion about the work they do here.

Literally came to get tires and a new rim for my Camaro, I definitely regret it. Driving felt different afterwards. So I made a Chevy appoint for a check up for my car. Right when I got there just by them looking at my tires they said I needed a wheel alignment and whoever put the tires on did a terrible job. My tires pointed outwards instead of straight when the Chevy workers explain how they should look. Next thing you know I can’t even get a wheel alignment because discount tires put a wheel lock without my acknowledgment. So now I have drive back to discount tires just to get my tire unlock. Second when I called discount tires I ask if they had my rim which they said they did. They got the size right but the rim doesn’t look no where near how my rim looked. I so frustrated and upset, I don’t even want to have service with them anymore!

I really like these guys. Good deals on tires and work with you to find the right price for your budget. They are kind, answer questions, and work hard to make things right. They messed up on ordering a new tire And were open about the error, apologetic, and worked to fix problem. In addition to lifetime free rotation on tires, they will fill tires with air when they are low for free in a quick drive up lane. They have my business moving forward.

I had to replace all of the tires on my vehicle and knew it would be a costly expenditure. The technicians that helped me, Cristian Petino and Frank were very sincere, knowledgeable and professional. Review: Pandemic editionI appreciate the safety precautions due to COVID. The employees were wearing masks and they do not get into your car if you prefer for them not to. They allow you to drive your car in and out of the service area yourself. As always with this place, make an appointment if you would like to get out faster.

Ive been a fan of Discount Tire for years but this location really disappointed me. Came in to get new tires. Everything was fine until a few hours after leaving the shop; my car is alerting me that my tires are under inflated. So I get out the tire gauge to check and sure enough all 4 tires are ridiculously under the PSI. And the mechanic smeared some kind of bright white lubricant all over my rims. Sloppy work.

Great discount tire. Got me out quick even though they they were slammed. A+ job too.

Same exact experience as Laura Love. Brought my Tesla in for a punctured tire. Was told they can’t repair and don’t have any replacements in stock and will need to order. So now I have no vehicle (was told earliest would be four days as they have to order from out of state) and was only given the option to pick up the car with a completely flat tire and try to limp it home if I’d like. Seriously? Tire warranty isn’t worth the cost when I will now have to spend far more on a rental or Uber than the cost of the tire. Maybe start checking that you have replacement tires in stock before you try to “fix” a drivable tire so you don’t leave your customers stranded with no options?Oh and I just checked my app and they left it unlocked sitting in the parking space. Fortunately I’m able to lock it remotely so someone doesn’t just hop in or steal from the trunk. This place is ridiculous.Follow up for pickup. Dropped car off on Tuesday. Got call Saturday morning that car is ready. Check the app a few hours later as I’m about to go pick up the vehicle and once again THE CAR WAS LEFT UNLOCKED. Once again lock the car remotely. Pick up car and was charged for a replacement which is NOT what the website states for their “Certificate for Repair, Refund or Replacement”. Was told that they prorate the tire which, again, is not what the website says.

Almost ended up stranded in GA for a couple extra days due to a pothole killing my tire and rim. This place is by far phenomenal with their quick and efficient service . The employee I spoke with Tyreece kudos to him, he is truly a gem.

Just had a wonderful experience at Discount Tires Chamblee with Terise. Tire purchasing is not on my list as an enjoyable purchase but they made it so. There was a problem with the correct tires being ordered but they “made it right” before I was even aware of it. GREAT customer service going above and beyond.

Who knew that the day before Thanksgiving was the black Friday of tire buying.When I finally made it to the counter 15 minutes later my expectations, of a positive experience, werent that great. Then I was informed that the tires I had purchased online were not in stock. But before I could utter an expletive, I was told that I would be upgraded with better tires. I was also skeptical when I was told that I would be out the door within an hour. To my great surprise I was driving away at 5 pm.I am completely satisfied with my experience with Discount Tire!

I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment but had less than a 10 minute wait. Everyone was friendly, courteous, efficient, and even gave helpful information about how to prolong the life of my tires. I will definitely recommend Discount Tires and will return to buy tires in the future.

I should have come here first. But I dont live nearby anymore. I simply picked up a nail in my tire and had a slow leak. Had to add air once a week. Went somewhere else that said I had to replace the tire. It couldnt be fixed. I told them Id take it elsewhere and did, right to Discount Tire.They quickly repaired the tire, AT NO CHARGE! It wasnt even their tire. No pressure to buy new tires either, they said mine were in fine shape.If you have a tire problem, go here first. They are the best. Anyone who performs a service for free, just on the hope you will make a tire purchase there in the future, has customer service figured out. Great business model, and I will get all my tires here. It super quick in and out

The guy at the counter was very warm and courteous as he allowed me to be seen as a walk-in since I had already paid for my tires online and I explained I had a nail in my front tire and could not leave the until the next day because I had no other way home.My disappointment is with the guy who put my tires on and failed to add air to the front tire driver side that was rotated from the back. I asked him upon getting in my car about the air pressure light still being on, he stated that once I drive my car for a little the light will go out. He never offered to check the air pressure on the from tires while I stood there.Ive had my tires replaced & rotated at other locations and Ive never had to ask why my air pressure light was still on because they always checked to make sure that the pressure in all my tires where correct and the light was off before I left.I am very disappointed after paying $187.00 for two tires and then having this to happen. The only thing he was concern about was getting the new tires on the car.I will be contacting the corporate office to make sure they know what type of service is being provided there at the Discount Tire location, 4900 Peachtree Rd, Chamblee.Just terrible!!!!😰

I cane in on Monday at which point a nail was found in the inside sidewall, and need to be replaced. I scheduled a time for Tuesday at 1:15pm. Arrived and dropped the car off, only to return an hour later confirming their was a nail in the tire, and needed to be replaced. Why wasn’t fixed? Because the tire was never ordered, and they did not have it in stock. I was told to bring the vehicle back on Wednesday. Here it is Wednesday I am 45 minutes further in to my wait time, and the vehicle is still in the parking lot. I have been here every day this week trying to get one tire replaced. Hours of dead time.This is horrible.

Fine place to get some tires and it seems a good waiting room and tight operation. Do note that this place and many others like it dont offer alignments so when you get a new set of tires youll need to go somewhere else to get that done.

I have used this store for 3 different vehicles over the years and countless sets of tires, and lately it is not the same and the service has gone downhill. Recent visit to repair a flat took nearly 4 hours of the car just sitting on the rack until I had to go in and ask them if they were going to fix it. Took 15 minutes after that.Update to this. Took the car to the dealership for service and upon inspection, they find that the lugs(mainly from the recent wheel where tire was patched were mostly stripped and even noted that it looks like wrong socket was used and put the correct socket size on my invoice($120). I called discount and was asked to come in to speak to the manager. After waiting about 20 mins in a line of 2 people, I finally get to talk to the manager. He immediately just tells me that did I look this up on the internet, its normal etc etc etc. Steer clear of this place unless you have a lot of time to waste and then want to come back and have more repairs done.****UPDATE- After contacting corporate/regional office and sharing experience/pictures, I was called and refunded.

Tire service overall, once they actually begin service, is speedy. Customer service, however, is extremely lacking.*NOTE: make sure the MILEAGE they record on your receipt matches the ODOMETER because that is what they will go by if you ever need to prove you are within warranty for your new tires. MINE was incorrect and I had to get them to fix it!After my tire suddenly burst, I came in for them to place my spare and they immediately began pressuring me to make a decision to buy new tires right then and there. I explained that I prefer to research online first and asked to get the name of the tires they recommend so I can look up reviews online first. They never gave me the tire info and kept my car the entire day just to place a quick spare.I later purchased tires online and came back with an appointment for 3:30 pm. After arriving around 3:30 and waiting in a long line to get checked in, the guy was like Are you just now getting here? Were going to need more time before we can get you in since youre basically late etc. Weve already started our 3:45 appointments Mind you, it wasnt even 3:45 at that point, and there was a period of time after 3:30 where I was waiting in LINE just to be seen. So basically youre patronizing me by speaking passive aggressively about my assumed late arrival which wasnt even late.Then he asks me for the card I used to place my order along with my ID. All I saw online was that I needed to bring my ID, which matches my card, and thats what I brought. Then he continues to patronize me saying Did you not read online when you placed your order that we also need the card you used for your order? I had already previously explained to them that I wasnt going to have my card anyhow because the replacement is still coming in the mail, but my bank allows me to still use the card for online purchases in the meantime. If your website took my charge and the tires are paid for, and my ID matches the card name, what is the issue??????They need to work on their customer service skills, people skills, and stop trying to pressure people into making large purchases at a moments notice without acknowledging that people have a right to take their time to do their research before they engage in large purchases.

The guys over at Discount Tire are fantastic! Have been a customer for several years and the great customer service keeps bringing me back. Most recently needed to come in due to a flat my 4Runner and my tires were about due to be changed out anyway. Since I had their tire protection plan and the flat wasnt repairable, they gave me a free, new tire credit so pulled the trigger on a set of 33 Nittos. They look really mean and ride so well! Pricing is very fair and they work hard to earn your business! Highly recommend these guys!

Made an appointment to have my tires rotated. When I arrived they were extremely busy but gave me the time and attention as if I were the only person there. Every Discount Tire employee I came in contact with was kind and courteous. They got me in and out as promised. I’ll definitely be returning.

Great Customer Service! I had a slow leak in a tire. I showed up without an appointment yesterday. Every Discount Tire employee treated me professionally and also was concerned about safety - wearing a mask, keeping distance. The salesperson, John N., explained the options if the tire could not be repaired and made recommendation for replacement tire (not the most expensive one). Also, John provided an estimate of the wait time which set my expectations properly. My tire was repaired 30 minutes ahead of the schedule. Ill be back.

These folks are the absolute worse. Took my Tesla in to get new tires and it took them 3 weeks for them to come in from another location within Atlanta. Then I had a nail in my tire and they said they needed to order my tire instead of just plugging it. I have been out of a car for a week waiting on this tire and they never pick up their phone in order to get a status update, and they even hang up on you constantly after you are on hold for 30 minutes at a time. These folks are unbelievable. I wish I could go somewhere else but unfortunately my warranty is with them. When I need new tires I will never go to discount tire again. My experience with them has been absolutely ridiculous.

Have been coming to this location for 8+ years and 5 different cars. Service is impeccable and they know how to treat you and your car right.Only downside is the amazing service has built up such a mass of happy clientele that I would not step foot in there without an appointment. They will squeeze you in but you may be waiting a long while. This location is insanely busy.
