This is the closest parts store to my house and the always have what my project truck needs

Generally very good at this AutoZone, but on this occasion not good. I needed to replace a brake bulb which was 1057 and brought it in to match. I did not see this bulb, but saw 1157, so I asked one of your employees if the 1157 would work and was told yes, it would just be brighter. The bulb did not fit. The side pins and bottom were completely different. It was late and I wasnt going back, so I went to Advance Auto. They didnt have the 1057 either, but heres the difference. The sales person went to his computer, asked me year, make & model of my car, and kept narrowing it to my specific car, and came up with the comparable bulb. This is what should happen at your store.

Purchased a battery and I provided pertinent information. Got battery and had AAA jump my car, I returned to the store and found out, after making a special return trip, that dont install batteries in a car trunk. I had to then go to a provider who replaced the battery in my car at an additional price. That done I returned to their store to trade-in my old battery! Im over these people! Rude and lack of information.

Have been there twice - both times excellent service - first bought rear wiper and they installed - they were happy to do it. Same with 2nd visit - because of the first visit went there for front wipers - again excellent service and installation!!!

I want to thank Brenda for going above and beyond. I was on vacation, driving back to NJ the very next day. My AC was failing, and of course my freon is the newer 1234rf kind, expensive and not readily available. Brenda took the time to call another autozone to locate and confirm inventory, secured the purchase for me to pick up. Also gave me the confidence to do this myself (recharge) as I have never done so before. Long story short I got the charge done that night 9pm, hit the road for NJ 6am next day and Im happy to say we were cold for 2 days. Although I had a cracked condenser and no charge in the world would hold forever, I got 1100 miles out of it and very grateful. Had a bad battery and couldnt get it jumped. Died on me just at the corner of 59th and Manatee. Pushed in into the Winn Dixie parking lot and walked to AutoZone to see if I could get assistance. Thought I wouldnt have been able to get the help as soon as I expected and Pam drove from the store to my car to help jump my car twice so that I could drive it to the store. She took the time to help me get to the store so I could check if it was good or not then bought a new battery and she took care of me from beginning to end. I would not have known what to do otherwise if it werent for Pams generous help. Thanks to Pam!

No one at this store knows anything about auto repair

Went inside had a return had no problem with that but went to get some disinfectant well the one I had was 999 it said 350 manager came and looked he said it was in the wrong spot I said you need to tighten up on your night shift cause I could raise a stink about this but anyway I got the little one.

Clean store and helpful staff. They always have what I need and can direct me to it the first time. Management must be doing something right.

Only 1 con...the employees didnt wear masks during the pandemic & Im literally a little old lady. However, when I saw them running in & outside in the heat, I kind of understood not wearing the uncomfortable masks. Still, I almost walked out, but I needed a battery.The 5 stars are for Steven, the employee who helped me. He went out of his way to take care of my truck needs, while helping 2 other customers out in the heat. All 3 of us had our hoods up & that young man kept RUNNING in & out of the store & back & forth between our vehicles. He took care of all 3 of us in the order of our arrival. I was the last 1 there, but still I was in & out in about 20 minutes!Steven, thanks for your help, kindness & knowledge.GREAT SERVICE! Thats the reason Ill always shop AutoZone. If I still had my business, I wouldnt hesitate to hire Steven as a manager. Cant say enough good. So helpful! Yvonne (Im sorry..I know Im not spelling it right.. showed us how to replace a headlight on my car. When we went to start the car...the car suddenly would not start. We had not had this problem. I had gotten my battery from here and it was still under warranty. He replaced the battery..but also tested the alternator. He was able to tell us we need a new alternator. Thank God this happened as I am sure we would have gotten stranded on the way to Orlando tomorrow. Yikes! Thank you very very much for your excellent service and for helping us. We really appreciate you!

Awesome experience at the Autozone in Bradenton! I have been in twice recently, and both times they were friendly and efficient. Today, after an across country delivery of my car, I found that a creature made a home under the hood and ate into the wire for the windshield wipers. On top of that, the radiator fluid evaporated. Jason, in particular, was so helpful in finding the origin of the problems and quick solutions, that I was really blown away by his knowledge and service. Definitely an asset to the company! Finally, the MOD, I regret not getting his name, quickly came out and helped me replace my rear windshield wiper. All in all, one of the best Autozones I have been to, and I have lived across the country! Worth the business. Worth the drive. Thank you so much! You made my life much simpler!

Ive always had a great experience here. Matthew (I believe that is his name) was very helpful in replacing my headlight and brake light. He was patient with that fact that i know nothing about cars. I felt that he genuinely wanted to help me, not just because it was his job but because he could see I had no idea how to do these things and he even showed me how to do it. I am very appreciative of him and the other staff at auto zone. I am a college student who recently moved to florida. I have had several problems with my car in the 2 months i have been here. i do not have any family and havent had the chance to make friends because of COVID. So it puts my mind at ease to know that i can count on auto zone if I have any more problems with my car. Thank you to Matthew for being a good person and not making me feel like a burden.

If I could give zero Stars I would. I ordered brake shoes yesterday to be deliver to the store on Manatee Avenue. I went to pick them up this morning and they werent there. They sent me to the store on 57th Avenue and they werent there 7th Avenue send me to the store on 1st Street and again they werent there. Meanwhile Im paying mechanic by the hour and I ended up with no brake shoes windshield wipers that didnt fit and did not work $90 later and half my weekend gone I am not a happy camper with this Pam manager on Manatee Avenue and 57th Street West! I ended up getting a refund at the third store on 1st and going to OReilly and getting my parts right at the register. So if they dont have your parts please dont order them! So very angry and the worst part is no one at the store on Manatee Avenue said they were sorry for my inconvenience! Thank you Pam! (Not)

Came in today for possible alternator/starter issues. Turns out a much cheaper fix was needed. A new battery. Mr. Wendell took great care of my needs & answered all my questions. Honest. Reliable. & Friendly. He knows cars! Super satisfied. Great job Mr. Wendell.

Lovely surprise! I was facing a significant bill to diagnose my coolant leak. AutoZone has a FREE TOOL RENTAL for that! You pay the cost of the tool (and they have a LOT), and get your money back when you return it! The staff were polite and helpful on each of those two visits (something I have become accustomed to at this store.)

I was looking for seat covers for my car. Found some I really liked and was surprised when I found a steering wheel cover to match! I needed some help to find another product and the employee who helped me took me right to it! I am always treated good anytime I shop here!

Put a new battery in first (I told them I also needed alternator checked) then when they checked the alternator, they said good luck driving, its bad. (Which would mean it would drain my brand new battery quite quickly so why wouldnt you test the alternator first?)So I took it to my garage. Who said its just fine and they do that all the time at autozone. Has to make you wonder if theyre just incompetent or swindlers.

Today I stop to get serpentine belts for my mustang and I ask if I can bought a 3/8 racket so I can install on my car it take 2 minutes to do it outside and he was so rude and he told me the they are not a shop if you wanna use it you have to buy it.. it’s not the first time thing like that’s happen to me special in this store any other store autozone they are so helpful and offers to help the if they have time but not this oneMaybe cause I’m Spanish they don’t give the same service to our people

I was very pleased with the service at this location. Went in for a battery replacement and it was installed by Jason and Xavier. My old battery had a lot of corrosion and was difficult to remove. Both guys worked diligently to make sure I left with a good battery. Thank you.

Danny was amazing, he came out side and helped me remove the front grill to install all my tail and marker lights. I just bought a used vehicle and almost broke things before Danny came to my rescue. Even help install new wipers. What a guy so happy I met him.

Personally I go here to get small parts for my car. This place has floor mats, seat covers to ramps, to batteries. This is my favorite place to go to get accessories and new small parts. I would recommend going here to get items to customize your vehicle. The staff are polite, some of them have no experince with cars and dont know anything about them, but there are a few people who know what they are talking about. (If you need to know something ask the Managers (Grey Shirts). No restrooms, everything is neat and organized. Easy to find things.

Called at 8pm broke down on vacation in Florida at a gas station on 66th and Cortez and the lady I spoke to said that they do not come and jump people off. All we needed was a jump so we could go buy a battery. We have two 14 year olds at the condo on Holmes beach and no way to get back to them. I am so glad that O’Reilly Auto Parts came out and gave us a jump and we ended up buying a battery from them. I will never shop at Autozone Bradenton FL!!!!

Bought a part from here they told me they would call me back at 330 I called in at two just to check told me it wasnt there called back at five the second shift told me it was there and arrived at one thirty come on now I have a tire diff cover and nothing like working on a truck in the dark

They need to hire people who actually have vehicle knowledge and not just sales. Any body can sell you something, but knowledge to sell you the right part you need is a must. So many times Ive had to make 2 or 3 trips back to autozone just because they gave me the wrong part. Their prices are good though.

I guess I am lucky I live and work near the West Bradenton store as other locations have had poor reviews. The Manatee Ave West. store is great. I am not a car guy, but they have always provided the parts/ products in a professional and cheerful (and of course helpful) manner.

I came in looking for a specific part. Instead of looking it up for me, the clerk kind of just motioned to the area where I might find it and told me it might be over there. It wasnt! I left and went to another parts store nearby... Not worth the discourteous interaction!

Got my replacement battery there under warranty. Quick, easy, painless and professional.

Went there today to get new windshield wipers before the storm. It was raining heavily and everywhere was crowded with people, particularly in the store. Despite the pre-storm craziness and weather, the female employee who rang me up was extremely friendly and pleasant and took her time in finding me the best deal possible for my wipers. I got ready to pay and leave, already feeling good about such a pleasant experience, when she started taking my wipers out of their packaging to make sure I would have the correct adapter for them to fit on my car. With the help of her male coworker, she figured out the best fit for my car and then he proceeded to take the wipers outside and replace them for me. I never asked for help putting them on or gave any impression that I would need help doing so, but the two of them automatically went out of their way to go the extra mile to help me. These arent people who collect tips, and this isnt a garage. All they had to do to do their job was sell me the wipers and move on to the next customer, but they both pleasantly and without hesitation went above and beyond in their service. Even if it was a small gesture, it was one they didnt need to do but they did anyway. This is the kind of service, the kind of business, that will definitely come back to and send my friends over to.

The woman working the counter had a bit of an attitude with me. I mentioned to her that they had helped my father with a light bulb on his car but it went out. Before I could finish my sentence, she shot back at me that he should have gone to a mechanic. She may be right but she didnt even let me finish my sentence. It was an hour before they closed and maybe she was having a bad day but I felt she was being rude. I quickly left and got a light bulb down the street at another shopAll I know is, I will definitely avoid this place in the future.
