Excellent place to shop. Quality and good prices

Usually pretty good prices but I found some items on the discount rack and the associate wouldn’t let me purchase them. Good to know the discounted stuff actually isn’t for sale.

They have a good selection of foods you dont see everyday in other grocery stores. I travel outside my neighborhood when I want to look for different meals to prepare. It is never crowded and the people are pleasant.

When in stock, nice mostly crowded and has few staff mostly angry and not helpful be prepared to find everything on your own. Most dont know where sale items are.

Great place to shop. Was very surprised that you could buy things other than food items. (clothing, umbrellas, etc.) And if youre on a tight budget, definitely can save lots of money. Their selection on certain brands and merchandise might be slightly limited but thats a minor issue at best.

They continue to be competitive with pricing. Im always amazed at my savings when I shop at Lidl compared to big grocery chains. Especially when it comes to organic and vegan options. If I may make a public request on a few staples: vegan butter, vegan mayo, panko bread crumbs and red wine vinegar. I wouldnt have to shop anywhere else...

Great product at more than affordable prices. Clean and friendly atmosphere.

The Wednesday specials are fun to catch. But just know if you REALLY want something thats out in the Wednesday circular...you better get there as they open of Wednesday. There are some interesting employees there but they seem to be good folks who has been Helpful.

The store had fresh apricots, peaches and nectarines. Theres a n organic produce section and their meats are reasonably priced.

This Lidl location has great selection, is well stocked and has helpful staff. The store is well lit and has a welcoming atmosphere. The prices are also much lower than Giant or Safeway. The Bakery is not open but still has fresh prepackaged items daily. There chocolate chip cookies are definitely worth a try!! ;)

Love Lidl!!!! Shop here almost every week. Beautiful selection. Produce is usually great quality. If you buy potatoes be prepared to use them quickly because they sprout fast. Great prices for quality shopping. Dont avoid the non food items. I find things I needed in there all the time.Bring your own bags to avoid buying new ones each time. Checkout is pretty quick even when only a few lanes being opened which is common.My only real complaint is the chicken coolers. Not sure when or if they ever clean them. The smell is heavy even with my mask on. I prefer to go to another store instead for that. If you do get the chicken be warned that some of the packages can be wet and sticky. Bring wipes for your hands.

Large, open, clean, shopping area with plenty of options, including name brands. This is a great discovery for me. Everything was fresh and neatly displayed. Will be going here from now on.

Please be certain that you check the expiration date on all food purchased at LIDL in Bowie, Maryland. I am a regular customer and have to ALWAYS check dates. I find it easy to find merchandise and store seems clean. Prices are competitive.ThanksM.Joyner

Prices are amazing here. Items I always need are in stock and even the store brand items taste just as delicious as those pricey brands. I am trying out a lot of new recipes and Lidl surprisingly had all those random ingredients. I love this place my new go to. An oh get the app..... every thing you come you will be saving something.

Limited selections but tasty and bakery is great in morning.

Long overdue - forgot to write this awhile back, but my dad recently brought up the store and reminded me of the terrible incident.One of the employees stole my dads phone and wallet. He left them in checkout and my parents drove off. After about 5 minutes, they realized and came back to the store - it was gone. They contacted the manager, he claimed he had no idea and lost and found didnt help. We figured we try the find-my-phone app, and voila, it showed the phone was still within the store, but towards the back, an employee only section of the store. I mistakenly called the phone before I got to the store. The phone rang, no one picked up, and within a minute, GPS/phone was turned off and that was it. Even with a police report, we couldnt grab ahold of the CCTV and they were lost forever. Despite us telling the store that the phone showed up at the store, manager did not pursue the lead.Otherwise a wonderful store, this still haunts us to this day, and we just cannot return.

This is the only grocery store I still go to for our needs whenever I go shopping. Thank God, it is near our house! And they sell everything from groceries to hardware. Their goods were well-organized and presented well. In one aisle, you can find dairy products conveniently and the same for other products, too.

This store has a little bit of everything good quality.

Lidl is great. A lot of varieties at a very affordable price. Fresh fruits, tasty baguettes, etc. Highly recommended 👌

The Bowie location is neat and peaceful. I will say most of the time, with any of these local Lidl locations, they almost never have 100% of whats advertised in the weekly ads, and main thing I go there for is usually what they dont have.

Great Lidl, so sad there arent any near my home! Affordable good quality fruits veggies, beans, sauces and wonderful weekly specials! Wide array of items and staff are always so kind and attentive!

The Bowie store is not the best place to work. That is a training store and there isnt really no main supervisor. They do not defend or listen to their employees when they are being harassed by another employee. They terminate you with out following the procedures of counseling, verbal warning, and written warning. When things happen they do not ask the employee any questions. If you are hired for stock and they are short staff. You are placed on the cash register without being properly trained. All of this happened to my son who went to work and stayed extra hours when asked.

Very clean, well stocked. Fresh produce. Very much like Aldi. This location, however needs to move the big empty metal bins out of middle of the aisles.

CHECK YOUR FOOD & PRODUCE EXPIRATION DATES!!!!! My quacomole expiration date was 1/21/21.!!!! I bought it yesterday! They have expired food on the shelves all the time. I don’t get it. Unfortunately this happens way too often when I shop there. Smh

This store is really nice, an upscale Aldis. clean store, nice layout and the employees pretty cool and helpful. Sale items and seasonal items sell fast so you have to buy them on the first day or so of the sale. After that its no telling if the item you want they will still have.

I have been going to this store since it opened and I have never had a bad experience. Even amid the current crisis. Last Saturdays staff was handling the overwhelming number of shoppers with great poise! They restocked as quickly as they could and did so with smiles and a bit of laughter. Even throughout the chaotic atmosphere everyone was Helpful! Respectful! Positive! AND the store was Clean! Wipes for the carts were readily available! Today was no different!! The store was once again stocked as best they could for the situation. Staff was working hard & together to provide the best environment for us shoppers! I really cant say enough good things about this store!!

I love your prices and exclusive deals, as well as new items every week/month. My SERIOUS problem with this store, is how long I have to wait in line. Why does a customer have to wait 15 MINUTES, to get peanut butter and bread? No self check out ? Why ?And there’s has been moments when only two cashiers are open, I looked behind me and there was a young man who had to walk all the way from his own task, to get on a cash register. HELLO there’s like 20 people in line! Hire more people to be cashiers if you know you’re a busy store. Like I said before, this is a great company but not having enough cashiers during busy hours, make me want leave my cart where I’m standing.

Great prices but worker refused to put her mask on when I politely asked. She was on a personal phone call at the same time and mocked me and laughed about it. Horrible customer service.

Seems to ripoff Aldis, Trader Joes, and Whole Foods. Time will tell if theyre successful.

We had never shopped at Lidl before. We have family who has and loved, so we wanted to try. It was very busy. However, everything we wanted was in stock. Great prices on everything, especially produce. Produce all looked fresh too. Super efficient check out system. Definitely will come back.

I went to this store on Christmas Eve to go Grocery shopping. As I came home to load my groceries I noticed that the orange juice use by date was 12/9 (clearly expired) Lidl has no customer service desk so I had to go to a line to alert the employee know I wanted to switch the OJ out since this one was outdated. The Assistant Manager a big feminine male tells me to take the expired OJ with me and bring back up when I am ready to checkout. I go to OJ aisle and they do not have the product in stock so I can get a current OJ. The lines are long so I go to self checkout to purchase the items that I picked up. I purchased my items and looked for assistant manager to let him know the product was not in stock and that I needed a refund he tells me ok go in line so I can process you out. I walk to a free register and do not see the Assistant Manager at it so I go to him and let him know I am ready to get my refund he says you have to wait in the long line. I say sir you all sold me an expired item, your items aren’t in stock and now you’re requiring me to wait in a long line after you all mistakes. Needless to say the customer service there is horrible and the fat feminine assistant manager was lazy and rather talk to employees then assist customers. I will never return to this store again based on the horrible customer service displayed today.

Visited the College Park store but this may have been the first store to open in the area. Great prices and a great shopping experience with a European flair.

The store was extremely disorganized and the layout was poor. It was also quite crowded, which was exacerbated by the terrible layout. It was probably the worst grocery store Ive seen in terms of design. The produce layout was especially bad, and there were many non-grocery items in the store that werent clearly organized.The selection was somewhat better than ALDI and the prices of the store brand items was solid. However, that was its only saving grace.The actual checkout line experience was also bad as it was long and slow. The line blocked an entire aisle of items and it was unclear what was the self-checkout line and what was the cashier line, as was apparent by the frequent confusion of customers around me. The ALDI line was much more efficient.Overall, I did not have a good shopping experience and would not return.

Love this place

We love lidl but lately they have been getting lazy with making sure the store is organized. Also they havent been keeping up with the restroom. Otherwise the prices are great, we miss the cheese pizza that always seems to be out of stock.

Store is brand new. Everything is well laid out. All meat and seafood is packaged very very well and in a refrigerator. Prices is better than most other grocery stores. Using the app I saved an extra 5 bucks in my first go around the store. For sure Ill be back.

Great prices on frequently purchased items quie a bit cheaper than the bigger grocery stores and guess what you dont need a bonus card! Definitely a go to for organic or grass fed items

Great prices and very clean store

Went late on a Sunday night, so there wasnt much of a crowd. Upon arrival, there werent and bags available for the fresh produce. So I did the rest of my shopping and forgot to grab a couple things once I saw the staff had replenished the bags. Oh well, not a big deal. The rest of y experience was easy as usual. Easily found the items I was looking for and much more. Pick up a salmon filet which is covered in a Mediterranean seasoning blend. It smells great, and Im excited to cook it.When I approached the check out area, I noticed the line was pretty long. They only had one manned register open. Then I saw that there wasnt anyone at the four open self checkout lanes. The self checkout was a bit of a pain. I left my bags home as this was an impromptu trip so I had to purchase bags. Once I moved the bags so I could bag my merchandise the sensor sensed that an item was missing and would not allow me to continue scanning my items until I placed the empty bag back in the bagging area. Great experience as usual.
