This place is amazing. They took in an intricate bracelet that was falling apart and restrung it while keeping the entire design and knot system a complete match. Beyond thankful and highly recommend.

I only know Sea of Beads from online sales but LORDY do they take orders and ship FASTER than the speed of light (or Amazon)!! Ive only had great interactions with them and I love their cute lil stickers too. Their selection of Miyuki Delica 11/0 beads is second to none. This place is a pop & daughters kinda place. You can pick all your favorite beads & bubbles or ask the staff for their opinion or give them your vision and allow them to create your magic for you. I have even taken them my broken jewelry and have them apply their magic and make it better than it was before.They have created several bracelets, a couple of necklaces, a hanging bubble for my car mirror, and the next will be an anklet for a friends.Sometimes, I wonder thru all of their beads to create something or just give them a color scheme and they pick all the beads and I have picked out the main bead(s) and they pick all the rest of the accompanying beads.They are a great team to create your childrens jewelry, keepsake jewelry, gifted jewelry, ceiling fan pull string jewelry, bookmarker jewelry, the ideas are endless.And while you are there, look up, you may fall in love with their limited fluid abstract artwork for sell!!!

This has been my favorite bead store since the first time I walked in nearly 10 years ago! They have SO many different products and the best variety I’ve seen. They have products in every price range, so I know there’s always something for me no matter what my budget is.On top of the amazing selection, the staff is great. They’re funny, friendly, helpful, and really knowledgeable about their inventory. Shopping here is an all around great experience, and I always look forward to coming here!

I just got into beading over the last couple of weeks for Christmas gifts. I found Sea of Beads online and wasn’t expecting much but what I found exceeded my expectations! Not only is the selection incredible, but the customer service is impeccable. I’ve been visiting the store at least once a week since the first week of November and each time not only do I walk away with really cool beads and products, but with advice and feeling very confident about my new found hobby! Every time I go into the store I’m greeted like a long time friend (they remember my name and what our conversations) and I can honestly say I’ve never had that kind of service at ANY retail store. I’m a forever Sea of Beads customer and HIGHLY recommend this local business for all of your beading/jewelry needs! oh and did I mention they also fix jewelry? They fixed a dainty chain necklace of mine in under 10 minutes while I was shopping around. I can’t say enough good things about the store and the owner/employees!

Im not one to leave many reviews for retail stores that I visit, but in this situation I feel it is my moral obligation to leave one now. First of all, I absolutely LOVE Sea of Beads and the staff. It has always felt like a family atmosphere. The owners/employees are ethical, honest, genuine and truly care about all of their customers and employees. There was an incedent yesterday at the store where a customer who came in was absolutely one of the most rude and inconsiderate people Ive come across. Not only did she ask for information about where she could source their items, she actually got upset when they wouldnt give her the information. I am in retail. We do not share that information. EVER. As a business owner myself, I would never ask someone about their sourcing much less get upset and act rude in front of other customers. If you own your own business, its common sense not to cause a scene in another persons place of business. I was there. I know what I heard and witnessed. And when she was told she could go to another store, she left out most of the story as well. After the belittling comments and rude unethical behavior, she mentioned that she can go to any other store and obtain the information she was requesting. Thats when she was told she was more than welcome to go to that store. She was never told to leave. Which in my opinion she should have been long before it got to the point that it did. I will not sit back and not defend an upstanding retail establishment like Sea of Beads. The employee that had to deal with this person did so with patience and grace. She never lost her temper once or said anything inappropriate. I really hope this individual had second thoughts about the childish way that she behaved and this wont happen to anyone else. This business did not deserve the review she left so I hope this one will help someone else who may be looking for a great place to by their beads and supplies. Sea of Beads is truly the top of the line. And they have impeccable customer service and are very honorable, honest and they hold themselves to high standards. THIS IS WHERE YOU SHOULD BE SHOPPING IN THE AUSTIN AREA! ❤️ OH, AND I GREW UP IN AUSTIN AS WELL. There was absolutely no exclusion or dismissive behavior

Highly recommend! They repaired three bracelets that are dear to me. In addition to doing an excellent job on the repairs, everyone there is quite pleasant and interesting to visit with. Great communication about the repair. Fast turnaround. And, they have a little setup for children to work with beads themselves while you wait. Really, just a wonderful experience.

A must go to. Super nice and helpful. They have a large selection of beads. This location is much better than the previous. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely be back.

Great store for jewelry needs. Wire, tools, chain, beads, natural stones, and much more. They will go above and beyond for customers... I accidentally forgot to purchase my briolettes and one owner knew I was going to JoAnns after and called them to see if she could catch me and my daughter. Thats customer service at the highest degree. They didnt find me but I called once I realized and they got payment done and mailed them that day so I got them the next. Support local and experience the best!!

I stumbled upon Sea of Beads today unexpectedly. Upon entering, I immediately felt like I was a regular customer! The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable on their inventory! Their merchandise is absolutely jaw dropping and Ive already made plans to go back tomorrow so the girls can help me make a necklace of my own!

Aside from one obscenely annoying man (who may or may not work there, i didnt feel like interacting long enough to ask), i really do like this place. Selection of findings is the best Ive found in Austin. Well priced too.

After a cheerful welcome from the staff, I was asked if I knew about the large collection of 50% off beads and where they were. Asked if I had any questions or needed help, Meagan turned me loose to browse. The owner, Greg, also came up to me after a while offering any assistance. When I did have a questions, Aliqua, answered them in an easy to understand way~while demonstrating the techniques discussed.I left feeling confident that if I ran into a snag with my project help was just a quick trip back for a tutorial. Wonderful to know friendly customer service still exists!!!

Sea of Beads is the place to go for not only beads but excellent advice, friendly atmosphere, fun classes and trunk shows. Everyone there is very knowledgeable able beading, wire wrapping and all kinds of jewelry. They are very easy to talk to and will never make you feel stupid if you are just a beginner.

I found Sea of Beads several years ago and am so glad that Ive had the experience of going back there time and time again. Greg, the owner, takes great care with his customers, and is always willing to help me find exactly what I need for my projects. The expertise of the staff is amazing, too, as so many of them are artistic and have great experience making all kinds of jewelry themselves. If I get stuck and dont know how to proceed with a project, they can help me along, as they have countless times at this point. They have a good selection of classes, and you can sign up for private lessons for things, I think, as I did for Pearl knotting.There is a wide selection to choose from- beads, gemstones, findings, seed beads, tools, pearls, leather and chain, etc. I always end up staying longer and looking around for new things that have come in.This place is like a family, and is my favorite bead store in Austin. They try hard and are good at customer service, which is so important, and I highly recommend them!
