Customer service is everything and his is top notch! Definitely recommend you come in to the Tunnel Rd. store and ask for Gary if you are looking to purchase anything.

I had a pretty good experience changing phone services in prepay at AT&T. I had just come from Verizon where they couldnt even figure out how I could get voicemail after 6 months of paying them for phone service. No way to even get someone from Verizon on the phone. AT&T had a very pleasant environment very relaxed. I got excellent service and the young man was very patient. I never should have left a t and t. But I kept losing text messages and never did figure out what was the cause.

I was there at the store as soon as it opened on Saturday..Gail was extremely rude and would not even try to help me troubleshoot. She just told me to go to best buy and have the Geek Squad help me. I wasted hours with Apple and the Geek Squad only to have to go back to the AT&T store. The 2nd person who helped me was wonderful. If my phone isnt working then Im obviously already stressed and do not expect poor customer service and rudeness.

I’m not technically knowledgeable, and today when I went in because I accidentally deleted something, the representative was extremely helpful, pleasant, professional, and patient. Walked into store and immediately greeted and assisted by a very personable and knowledgeable rep that was a very good experience. However in the middle of transferring info another employee came over and said he had to leave for lunch. No personality and very curt almost to dicourteous. After 20-30 minute he came back and said this should have completed by now then pushed button on phone and said oh that’s why and process continued. He had not said anything about restarting the process and wasted a lot of my time. After finishing he handed me a bag didn’t say anything and walked away. Pretty poor customer service by #2 excellent by # 1 he should be the manager of Att&t directly in front of Whole Foods on tunnel RD in Asheville

It was not the staff at this store they tried their best to help. AT&T / Direct TV policies need to be reviewed and revised immediately. Policies concerning POA and Guardianship are ridiculous tell corporate to take a close look. Every banking institute had no problem with the Letter of guardianship I presented to them.

I was in a total mess and my nerves were shot when I showed up on their doorstep today. Thankfully Andres met me at the door with a kind demeanor. He was so helpful and stayed with me until it was all worked out; totally saved the day. I wanted to give him a big hug for being so patient and helpful. Covid saved him from my bear hug, and he saved me from a meltdown. 5 stars all the way!

Amber was wonderful. I brought in an iPhone my friend had given me. She updated my phone and installed the sim from my old one. Now this whole process took around an hour. She was very personable, patient and knowledgeable. I felt bad I didn’t have my Apple password or A T& T #. She reset everything & waited until everything was completed. I tried to pay her & she gently refused. My confidence restored!!

I switched to AT&T wireless for my family after being loyal Verizon Wireless customers for decades. Service was okay (not as good as Verizon), price was less than Verizon. However, we all decided to get our own carriers. My mother paid the amount due for the remainder of our phone costs; however, AT&T applied it to the bill without our knowledge, leaving a credit. So, thinking my phone was unlocked, I signed my husband and myself up with a new carrier. Tried to activate my phone and find out it is not unlocked. So, we go to this AT&T store on S. Tunnel road to try and resolve the problem. First guy was rude and uncaring, said he could not activate my phone because it was not paid off. I leave and come back in with my husband. We speak to a different man. Long story short, I had to pay off the phones again. So, now there is a $24.00 and change credit on the account. Well, los and behold, my account now had an overdue balance on it. They tried to say I never paid off the phones and owe them more money. Long story short, I have filed a dispute and am awaiting resolution. Consumer beware.

I came in first thing in the morning when they opened to trade-in my phone. No one else was in the store. Gail was not very friendly and seemed very agitated when I asked a simple fair question. I’ve never experienced this sort of customer service at AT&T before. It was very surprising.

I went in to switch from Verizon to at and t. The first day we met symeon and he talked us through the switch and showed us the numbers and broke everything down. I came back two days later and sym was even more helpful then the day before. He did his own analyst on our account to find us the best deal. Two people that work at the store were very friendly and happy to assist me... But at least one girl was very unfriendly. My two star rating is not regarding this store in particular... Its regarding ATT customer service in general. 2 hours of my time was completely wasted after I was directed to a store, that apparently has no phone number, that does not even exist. Canceling service, just because of a temporary move....not because of bad internet service, should not be this difficult. Because it was made to be this difficult, I end up paying for three weeks of service I didnt even use, hours of my time wasted, and many other things. Whoever is in charge of the way things are handled at AT&T needs to be questioned. Absolutely horrendous. This particular store seems to be fine but good luck finding a store that even exists if you are directed to one through customer service.

I had to get a product and specifically asked 3 times if it would work. The lady Holly that was there was extremely rude and hateful. I got home and No it didnt work. I did call band complain that it was a inconvenience bc I could not make it back before they closed! I have never had any issues at the store and Im hoping that the employees that have been there still remain.. I do not even want to even give 1 star to them!

When I asked to speak to a manager, they told me they would call the police if I didnt leave. They felt threatened by Me? A 5 ft tall grandmother of 6 children? The worst customer service I have ever experienced. When I walked into the store no one even spoke to me for 15 minutes. I’ve been waiting now for an hour and haven’t had one employee check on me since I asked them to sign me in. If you can help it, find another store to go to.

Omwow! What can I say? Im a first responder/firefighter and planned on switching to AT&T.. however first off, Jutin, from the Asheville N.C. store, smelled horrible. Customer service is not his field of expertise. Anymore attitude from this guy, I may have run out the door-which I almost did anyway. Dont recommend this store to anyone on their worst day, ignorant is not bliss in this dept. But good luck if u give it a go! Verizon here I come! -0*s if possible

Worst customer service I have ever had. I was patient and just wanted some help at what options I have for a new phone. I assumed I would be able to find that information out. My phone quit working on me and I live across the U.S. from my Dad. They could not even tell me what options I had because I needed my parents to jump through hoops to have me authorized on the account. I will not recommend At&t to anyone. You are not supposed to have a bad experience purchasing a new phone.

The associate Ryan Huston, who works at this store, rocks.I came here for help with an issue after talking to 5 or 6 AT&T customer service representatives who failed to solve my problem.One of the store associates, Ryan, and his co-worker, Gary, helped me solve my issue as soon as I walked in (even though it was not a revenue generating opportunity for them).They were kind, courteous and got the job done quickly.

I will start by saying I never thought I would ever give AT&T a 5-star review but my experience in this location deserves one.I was out of the country and my phone got wet and fried, I tried the whole rice bit but there was no helping it. When I got back to the states I went into At&t and outright bought a new phone which is not cheap as the majority of you know. Now I normally deal with Apple directly but I had just moved from LA to Asheville where the closest Apple store is about an hour away. A couple of weeks later I went online to pay my bill and noticed that I had insurance on phone which covers water damage. I was very upset to find this out and to have not been offered this as an option when I went in to get a new phone. At that point my plan was to take the phone back but when I looked at the receipt I noticed that I was one day over the 14 day return policy. Needless to say I was upset.I called At&ts 800 number and after talking with a couple of people I got through to a wonderful woman named Mary. She was extremely helpful and caring. She emailed the store manager asking that he take a look at the situation and to get ahold of me. She let me know that it was ultimately up to him what would be done about the return request but that she would suggest that it be taken care of.After a couple of days I received a phone called from Gary who is the manager at this location. We talked about what had happened and he looked into it for me. He then scheduled a time for me to come in and return the phone and to file an insurance claim for me. He even let me keep the phone I had purchased outright until the replacement phone came in the mail, which was only two days. After I received the replacement phone I went back into the store and he returned the phone for me. What started out as a $800 nightmare ended up only costing me $100 plus a $30 restocking fee.This review is solely for this location and really for Gary the manager. He has exceptional customer service skills and is over a good person. I could also tell that his team and store are important to him because he planned on reviewing what had happened with his sales team.I will finish this review off by saying being nice to people will always have a better outcome. I said that I was upset by what had happened but I did not take it out on anyone that I spoke with. Remember that you are interacting with other human beings, just like you they have feelings and most of the time when something happens that upsets or causes you annoyance it wasnt done by someone to intentionally make you angry or to spite you.

We were grandfathered in from Alltel with an unlimited everything plan. In order to keep my plan, I have to buy my phones out of pocket elsewhere to keep that. We had my phone turned on at this store since I had to pick up my phone at a family members house where it was shipped. Everything went well and seemed fine until we started getting texts about how our data was almost used up. The woman who turned on our phone switched our plan when she gave us a new SIM card. Mind you, weve done this 1000 times at the Hickory store and nothing changed, but somehow she screwed everything up. So now we have a $1,300+ phone bill. Weve appealed our case multiple times and they refuse to switch us back. We will be switching phone companies. Dont use AT&T. They will screw you over.

Previously I really liked this store but that has changed. It was time to upgrade my phone so I stop by the store. An hour and a half later I finally get to talk to someone only to be told that I can upgrade but Ill have to pay an additional $185 for the upgrade. Of course, I walked out unwilling to spend that amount of money. Once I got home I logged online to the AT&T store, signed in, and upgraded my phone for $0 money unlike the store rep said. To make matters worse, I decided to pick up the phone in the store instead of waiting for it to ship. I get my confirmation number and head to the store. 1 hour later I finally get to talk to someone and after another hour of waiting for them to figure out what to do to give me the phone (already paid for and signed) I finally get the phone and leave the store. I will not be returning to this store and if youre smart you will not either.

I planned on leaving a great review for this place, because the people are very friendly and truly are a breath of fresh air after trying to communicate with customer service phone line. However, I was lied to on several occasions, I am very disappointed and I won’t be back. I purchased a mobile broadband internet, and was told I could could try risk-free for 14 days. I specifically asked if there would be any fees to return, and was told that I would only have to pay a $45 restocking fee. I returned the device because I found out about Skyrunner internet, which gives me faster service for less money. I’m not even surprised I was lied to, but now I owe an activation fee plus a prorated amount for the 5 days I had the device. In addition, there are at least $15 extra in “taxes and fees” attached to your bill, just for fun. On the over hand, Skyrunner has no fees they don’t tell you about, and you pay the actual price you are quoted. Go local if you can and don’t waste your time with corporations whose deceptive sales tactics only serve to put more green in their pockets and snuff out all competition.

I waited till they close and I was there at 7:05 pm, and Im writing this review at 8:07 pm which is after hours and Im still waiting for someone. Just like Verizon store next to them. Wait for hours before get any help, but you can hear them talking to the customer that they helping about personnel life crap!!!! They dont know how to warp up a conversation with a customer. Sad so sad, they talking like they sleeping, we came to AT&T store for help with our services or devices issue or setup a new account, not for personnel traveling convo.

On my visit to Asheville I went to store located by Tunnel road I was assisted byAndres T who charge me for a sim card tAT&T provide for free, after my return to Miami I went to my local store to add AT&T in my phone I was sold the plan and include the sim, I ask if it was for free on all plans when you sign up. They say YES. I call the store In Asheville and a nice women promise me a refund but I am not seeing it on my statement so I call the store and spoke with GARY a rude person who try from the beginning to avoid refunded it to me. Bad store.

These guys have gotten a bad rap online, but I just wanted to add that I went in twice last week when my iPhone died and both of the guys who helped me were great. They actually recommended taking the phone to another place, CityMac, and then helped me figure out what my options were when it appeared that my phone was kaput. I still have to go back to get my new phone setup, but I wanted to post that thus far the guys at this store were very helpful and not pushy at all. My only interaction was dealing with a smartphone issue, but no reason to think they would be less helpful with other services. Cut these guys some slack. Working in this industry is probably as unforgiving as having to patronize it!Also, for the record, the account authorization thing is a pain in the butt, but standard protocol. If you arent an authorized user on the account, they cant allow you to make changes to it. Just how that works for security reasons.
