Hands down this place is the best! No one has perfect credit having gone through what my husband and I have. But American rental and the ladies who work there blew me away with their great customer service. I will definitely refer anyone to them!

Just over the top expensive, not clear on actual charges. I needed a washer and dryer back in December 2016, I knew rent to own would cost me more, but not this much more. Here we are in June 2018 at $100 a month and it’s still not paid for. I will never buy from them again. Lesson learned. Update: they graciously knocked off $14 for early pay off. If I could give a lower than 1 star rating, I absolutely would. Please avoid this company at any cost. My $600 washer and dryer set ended up costing $1300 when it was over. The low upfront cost and monthly payments is tempting, but you don’t need anything that bad. Businesses like these prey on people and threaten with criminal charges for late payments, it should be illegal to do business in this manor without at least a manageable cap on interest and fees.

Got 2 TVs from this company 3 days ago and took them home. My family and I went out of town late Friday night and returned late Monday night. My husband hooked one TV up to find the TV was messed up on the inside. Took TV back and the manager said that I have to keep the broke TV and still pay for it when we didnt do anything to it and made us bring it back home.DONT RENT ANYTHING FROM THEM... GO ELSEWHERE... THEY ARE A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS AND VERY RUDE...

They are pathological liars. I came 2 weeks ago put a down payment on a sofa & a bedroom set totaling almost $100, 2 weeks later on my delivery date they tell me my references had bad things to say about me. Theyre f*****g liars they just didnt want to rent to me because im black and had a secondary.

This place in interest alone, ends up making 3 or 400 percent what the appliance actually cost. Total rip off. Just go to Aarons!!! At least they dont charge that much over time paying it off. Outrageous aint the name for it
