Some of the people that work the front desk here are very rude and lack professionalism. Secondly, they go back on their own word. When i got my tires changed, i was told that tire rotation and balancing is free because i purchased the tires there. I recently went to to get car serviced for oil change, tire rotation and balancing, and when i got there, they told me balancing is not free which was the opposite of what was said to me to me when i purchased my tires. I will no longer be taking my car there again.

They have the friendliest staff! Everyone was extremely friendly and I am very happy with the price and service received. I would highly recommend them, and plan to use them again when I need service.

I made an appointment online and even brought my confirmation with me, but when I arrived they had no record of the appointment. They did service my car but I ended up being there 3 hours for an oil change and 2 new tires. I had $2,800 worth of work done here on my car less than a year ago (and have put very little mileage on it since then because of the pandemic) and they still came up with a list of things totalling $800 that they recommended be done in addition to what I had come in for. I will admit that there were no high pressure sales techniques being used like they do at some service locations, but I definitely felt that there were upsells being attempted. And the prices seemed high, for example the quote was over $600 for spark plugs--$200 for the plugs and over $400 for the labor. They do have a comfortable waiting area and water, tea, and coffee available. There were two restrooms and the ladies room was quite spacious and clean. And theres a great restaurant two doors down in the shopping center. Im not sure if Ill go back here again. Ill be looking for someone that has more reasonable prices the next time, but I could end up back here because I do trust them to do the work correctly and stand by their work based on what theyve done so far on my car.

TL;DRTheir labor costs are astronomical and their professionalism is sub par due to not being fully forthcoming with everything they would be doing.We came here to have a diagnostic run on our car to find out why our check light engine was on, and were charged way more than the average costs of such a test. While they did not offer a quote before getting the service done, shame on me for not asking for prices before hand. I definitely would have gone somewhere else. Then when confronted about the high price, they tried to justify it by saying “they had to do more digging around.” So not only did they not offer a quote, they did more labor than what I was expecting, which jacked up the price more than what I was expecting.One positive: they did fit our car in for service under very short notice.

These guys were amazing! They fit me in without an appointment and had me in an out in no time. I am new to Virginia and didn’t know I needed emissions prior to registration. I shared my desperation as my appointment was in 2 hours and they fit me in immediately. I recommend using them for your needs. I will definitely be back!

I had a wonderful experience. They diagnosed an issue I was dealing with for several months and fixed it in a day; faster than what they told me first. And it’s been few months past and I didn’t had the issue again.I have to say the labor fees are pricey..

I’ve been going to these guys for years, each and every time my car is better for it. They offer fair prices, superb customer service, and no upselling whatsoever. I’m not the most car savvy person out there, so I appreciate the time that they take to articulate what is actually needed at the time of service, what can wait, and what would just be nice to have. They give fair, realistic and accurate assessment of your car and can guarantee to keep it running well into the future! Not going anywhere!

They were great! I called for an emissions test and had a same day appointment. They upload the test directly to the DMV which made vehicle registration super easy. I was in and out in 20 minutes!

The pricing is INSANE. I got an oil change and safety inspection there, and it wasnt bad. But whenever I call about other services, tire mounting, suspension work, parts, its never competitive.The quality is good, facilities clean, but not worth paying double the price as other auto shops.

Would not go here for anything more than a oil change. There pricing is out of control. I should have know when the flyer advertised quick and easy financing avaible The price quote will have a bunch or extras you do not need. They quoted me $720 for brakes and tires. I went less than 1 mile up the road and paid $543 for the same work to pass inspection. The $50 oil change is cool but would not recommend going there for anything else.

They always get me in pretty quickly, do good work as far as I know, friendly, and aware of service inspection, emissions and additional items. Also typically have my car back to me same day or in time which I have found often not the case other places Ive been.

I visited Wiygul primarily to get a vehicle inspection done on my company van. They did the inspection and found one of my tires was cut and had wires exposed. They did not charge me for the failed inspection like some other places had done to me in the past. They got me pricing on a new tire, told me it would be available the next day, and gave me a copy of the failed inspection. The next day I returned and the tire was installed and inspect was done within 20-25 mins of being in the store. I really appreciate them being mindful of my time and having a sense of urgency. I’ll definitely be back for more work.

Good customer service. If you get there early (8am) with an appointment you should in & out in an hour or less. They will provide you an Uber to your place and back. Would be 5 stars but they didnt call me when my car was ready.

I went in for safety inspection and an emissions test. I was rejected for my safety and was told it was because of my back window tint not being too dark and cannot see the back window brake light, my garage sticker being placed on the bottom left side of my front window, and my tires.I went to several other places and even a cop that all mentioned I should not have failed because they can see my back brake late clear as day and my tires is still very well usable.I asked the gent to quote me for some new tires and he quoted me for $1,100 tires. I immediately walked out.Big rip off and complete believe they do things to get you to spend more with them.

I have had my van worked on twice so far. This is the first mechanics I felt I genuinely trusted. Their work has held up. They tailored my needs to my budget when asked which was a blessing to get my vehicle inspected and back on the road. Ask for John!

I brought our 2012 Nissan rogue in for a state inspection, oil change and to prepare for a family road trip. The men at the shop were honest and fair and made sure my car was safe. They even sent an Uber to pick me up during a very hot afternoon. I will gladly recommend them to anyone who needs any work on their car!

I had a positive experience with Wiygul. I brought in a car for a Pre Purchase Inspection and the customer service and professionalism was wonderful. As a female client who knows very little about vehicles I appreciated that the team clearly explained key issues about the vehicle so that I can make better informed decisions before moving forward with the purchase of the vehicle.

I called to schedule an appointment and was told to just come right in. They were really nice on the phone and even nicer in person. This was my first time at this particular location but I will be going back. The lobby looks like what most car repair shop lobbies look like but they did have free coffee and water available. I walked down to the local bakery and by time I ate my eclair my car was almost ready. They told me a couple of other things I needed to get done and said hell send me a quote via email. Ill most likely be going back soon to get my brakes done. Highly recommend.

We were in the middle of a 500 mile car trip back to our home when our car started making a horrible noise. Luckily it was right by an exit and after consulting google, we pulled into Wiygul and explained the situation. Not only did they look at the car within 15 minutes, but they did a fix that they said should get us back home. The technician told us what to tell our mechanic when we got back home and then sent us on our way. Didnt even charge us. We got home without further incident. I didnt know this kind of service still existed! Thank you Hank!

I recently moved to the Alexandria area and needed a emission and safety inspectionOnce inspection was completed they informed me what needed to be done to my car. They were very helpful and professional and worked with me to get all the work done on my car. I would definitely recommend to others and will use them in the future.

This business is very willing to work with customers. I had to cancel my appointment to get tires installed and came in a few days later to reschedule. They fit me in same day. The business also has local Uber for customers that live close by so that you are not waiting for many hours. All around great service and I would use them again for other mechanical needs.

I rented a UHaul through them (the UHaul website clearly stated Wiygul automotive as an authorized dealer). They had my car towed while I was out with the truck. Their signs said “parking for Wiygul customers only” and they explained to me after that I was not one of their customers despite the website listing them as the vendor that I was conducting business through. Extremely unclear; they were not short on parking spaces by any means, and were unapologetic when explaining to me that their parking signs had stipulations which were not posted or advertised.

Their diagnostic reports about service needed on the car were informative for us non-technical car people and the staff provided excellent honest recommendations about prioritizing repairs in the event your budget doesn’t allow for fixing everything all at once. Big talk, not so good on doing. Second time using them. First time, didnt reset maintenance lights after doing service. This time, went to location on Lane St., where I scheduled the appointment, come to find out someone at the Lane store transferred me to the Pickett location without informing me. Then when I get to Pickett decided to have wipers replaced also. Waited for wipers to arrive only to find out they got the wrong wipers. On a good note, they did waive the fee for the safety inspection but by this time I was checked out. Going back to Benz!

I was looking to change my 4 tires + alignment. I did my shopping around, and this place was offering a better brand of tires for cheaper price. After comparing with other similar establishments, come back to Wiygul. Got a quote, left my car and come back when the job was done.After the job was done, they wanted me to pay more ($60+) than what we originally agreed. after speaking with a manager, I still ended paying 6 extra dollars for no reason. Even though I got my original quotation on hand.

I received a safety inspection. I have used Wiygul for many different services in the past. Ive always been impressed with their honesty and integrity. When I was uncertain about the need for a specific service, they took me to the workshop and showed me the damage on my vehicle. This was something they caught, which I had no knowledge of, and I am so happy that they fixed it, so I could continue to drive around safely!

Bought a set of tires there about 6 months ago. Called them with a nail in one of the tires. Doug got my wifes car in next day and provided a 12 point inspection at no charge. This was my first time getting my vehicle serviced here and I was extremely pleased. I recently relocated to Alexandria, VA due to my career. Having to find a new mechanic who was honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and reasonable was a major concern of mine. I did some research, saw that Wiygul had great reviews, and were very close to me. My vehicle was properly serviced, clean waiting area, Exceptional Customer Service, and they will even get you an Uber from and back to their shop when your vehicle is ready. I believe I have found my new mechanics at my new residence. On a side note, they had someone in their system with my same name.

Love Wiyguls! Having just moved to Virginia from Maryland my car needed a state inspection and an emissions test. I was happy to find that Wiyguls did both. They were welcoming, professional and had me in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Will definitely make Wiygul my go-to car place!

Like using this locally owned shop, however, less than transparent pricing and an invoicing error were disappointing. When told total amount at pickup I indicated it seemed high. They confirmed coupons had been applied and advised these things just add up. It wasnt incredibly high and I needed to get going so I accepted charge and left. Later at home examined printed invoice in detail and found nearly $10 in shop fees/materials (normal overhead as far as Im concerned) for an oil change and tire rotation. Bogus charge like resort fees tagged on to advertised prices at hotels. Then I also found they charged TWICE for oil filter disposal (again normal overhead cost). Like the shop in general, but disappointed that advertised prices are not really a reliable indication of what you will be charged.

My car is now driving smooth n quiet. Got much needed brakes n other services. The work was done quickly within the timeframe stated. It was great and Im am very pleased.

I cant quite explain it, but I felt taken advantage of here. The staff is nice enough in person. You make an appointment, but your vehicle is not guaranteed to be looked at during that time. My car got looked at after 2 hours of my appointment time. They didnt warn me of it taking awhile.I have a 2018 car with only 30,000 miles on it. The oil needed changing and my check engine light was on.I was thinking it would be something minor like air filters needing replacement.I recommend doing research on what should be done on your car at the mileage its near. Transmission fluid service is reccomended for 50K, not at 30K.A 30K maintenance cost should be $169-$247. Plus about $89 for synthetic oil and roughly $200-$400 for labor. They also complained of my car needing new wiper blades (understandable). They said my check engine light was on because my fuel cap was faulty and vapors were being released... Ok... More explanation wouldve been nice (I went out to lunch and they called telling me whats up with my car. This was over the phone).My final cost was $987!!!!!!?I understand the labor cost component... But $700 worth!?Cars are expensive, but so can automotives be with the luxury of piling fees and too soon of mileage services on top of unsuspecting folks.Unless you have ample money to blow onto extra-- dare I say? Unecessary-- expenses, go elsewhere.Do some Yelp/Good Sam/ Google reviews of places to find more understanding, kind, and reasonable folks. I wish I did. My I- Laws reccomended them because theyve been going to them for years. Nope, Ill research ahead of time.

I went to this shop as a referral to have my tires checked. They offered an overall check of my car/fluids and told me to come back in an hour or so. When I returned an they said I needed $4500 in work to my car! I then took my car to the shop my family has been using for 15 years and they said only one item listed on their quote was needed and it was not urgent.I know shops need work right now but this is not the way to get business. Furthermore, when I first returned the man who was helping me quoted $1500 then said Opps I didnt do my math right. It is actually $4500 for the parts and labor. I have heard of women being taken advantage of but this has to be the worst case. Whats really funny is my car is not even worth $4500. Why would you think the lady with the old car has $4500 would put that much money into it when she could just buy another used car for that price?Do not trust these guys ladies!

The service writer took the time to go over my options and review my requested service.The only negatives were that even though I provided the service writer with my discount coupon from the Wiygul site, the discount was not applied. I didnt notice this until after I left. Also no reminder oil change sticker was provided or affixed to my windshield.Overall very professional. Good work and quality.

I have been going to this Wiygul ever since I moved to alexandria about 3 years ago for all my standard automotive services: inspections, oil changes, etc. and had received professional service without feeling cheated.However after today I am not sure if I will return. I was scheduled to come in for an oil change and VA safety inspection but after being told that my car needed some additional work due to having over 60k miles on it. I asked how much it would cost and was verbally told Seventy-Seven Three Twenty which in my mind equaled $77.320, why he said it in this fashion was odd but whatever.They eventually called me up and said my total came to Seventy-Seven Three Twenty just like they said earlier but as I was about to put my card in the screen said $773.20. I said that this was not the price that was verbally disclosed to me but the work had already been done so I begrudgingly paid the amount.I would have paid this amount to have these services done eventually but as it stands right now I can not afford the almost $800 to put into the car all at once. Looking back I probably should have talked to a manager about this but the work had already been done and I pay for what I owe; but this just felt deceitful as he technically didnt lie by providing me all the digits but come on who pronounces Seven-Hundred & Seventy-Three as Seventy Seven-Three.As I said at the beginning I have had nothing but very positive dealings with Wiygul which I would rate 5 Stars, but todays BS I rate as a 1 so Im giving it 2.5 to even out

Discovered Wiygul a couple of years ago. I had been going to a very cheap place but as many things were getting broken as getting fixed and I decided to check out Wiygul. I appreciate their integrity, professionalism, quality work. They are a little more expensive but I can count on my truck being fixed on time and fixed right. They are always completely honest and transparent when providing an estimate and informing you about work that needs to be completed. They are locally-owned which is nice as well. Ive been to the chains and their work is not dependable. Im particular about my truck and they are understanding and know me by name. Really glad I stumbled upon them.

Wiygul towed my car with a dead battery to the service center, fixed it while keeping me updated every step of the way, then drove it back to my house all while giving me a reasonable price. Unbelievable service. Special thanks to Patrick! Highly recommend

I needed to get my annual safety inspection done and they were able to get me a same day appointment and took care of the inspection in about 20 minutes. All in all a superior experience.

I came in to get my safety inspection and was told my tires were bald and that they needed to be changed ASAP. I had just bought new tires the previous year so I knew something was not adding up so I took my car to get a second opinion and was told my tires were perfectly fine. This location was trying to take advantage of the fact that I’m a woman and don’t know all too much about cars. Will never be returning to this location or this company ever again.

The service I received was quick and fine (state inspection). However, I was concerned about the lack of COVID protocols being followed inside. One employee had his mask only covering his mouth, another employee didn’t have one on at all. The person at the main desk only pulled his mask up over his nose and mouth when I walked in and a customer in the waiting room didn’t have one on at all. In alexandria, all of these are considered violations of the current law in place.

Ive been going to Wiygul inn Alexandria VA for 16 years. Theyve always done of food job with preventative maintenance of my used (7 to 10 yrs or older) cars.

I took my 2008 Mustang GT to Wiygul because it suddenly began misfiring badly and the engine light came on. They told me that 11 codes were showing and that they also heard metal knocking in the engine. They said it would take 8 hours labor to verify but they believed my timing chain jumped causing severe internal engine damage. They recommended replacing my engine and other maintenance items totaling over $10,000. I then had the car towed to another auto repair shop and after 2 hours the mechanic called to tell me that my car was running fine and there was no evidence of any engine damage. He determined that the variable valve timing sprocket temporarily seized causing the problem and he was able to clear the codes.

Dave is great at providing honest feedback and never pressures you into work you don’t want/need. The guys in the shop do great work and it’s always done quickly. Great quality and top notch customer service.

I have to tell you way better experience and service then Pepboys in our area. It feels like all the incompetent little shops got franchise with Pepboys. I have been into two Wigul locations and I can report great service and great professionals. They even got me a uber right back home. Highly recommended the locations in Alexandria

Loved my experience with Wiygul. I requested pick-up and drop off service through their website, but turns out that can only be requested over the phone. They should remove that option from the website. Either way after the pickup time passed, we called the shop and they apologized for the mix-up and sent someone out immediately to get the car. They returned the car with all the services performed and even did so at a lower price than they had originally quoted me. They let me know that my tires needed replacing soon and provided a quote, but were not pushy or anything. Just let me know I should do them sooner rather than later. Overall I had a great experience and Wiygul will continue to be who I use when Im not able to work on my car myself.

This place is a joke. Stay very very far away! Very very unprofessional and rude. Dave Krukowski is a bully and be littles customers to make himself feel better. Every time you take your car for regular maintenance, they give you a couple thousand dollar itemized list of things that need to be fixed. Something will ALWAYS be wrong with your car if you take it to wiygul. If you take your car elsewhere after leaving, the next place will tell your there is nothing wrong with your car and none of the stuff on the list provided by wygul needs to be fixed. They just want money. Money hungry. Don’t spend your hard earned money here. There are way better mechanics in the area that actually value you as a customer and will provide you the up most respect. I have never experienced such ugly customer service.

The price for the service was even better, being that I’m from Philadelphia, and I expected the service and price of the inspection to be more expensive than it actually was. So I am pleased and would go back for any car issues that I have.

My appointment was kept promptly and even with the social distancing was convenient--with both inside and outside seating while waiting. I plan to use Wiygul when my car needs servicing and encourage other Cameron Station residents to do so also.
