I changed my car’s oil once there and the service was 10/10. I liked the guys and it was so good! I recommended this place to so many of my friends. Lately, I had a problem in my ABS sensor. I took the car there, and one of the employees started working on it. He obviously knew what the problem was (as I said they are very professional). He showed me that the sensor cable was cut and that it needed to be replaced. I agreed on the replacement price which was $140 and he asked me to come after 5 hours. I came back and the car worked perfectly. Few days after that, the abs problem came back and I took it to another mechanic, who showed me what the issue was. THE SAME ABS SONSOR WAS THERE, AND THE LUBE IT EMPLOYEE JUST TAPED THE CUT CABLE AND NEVER REPLACED IT. It’s so frustrating, and I def can’t trust this place after that.

Super nice place to get a really fast oil change. All the staff here are professional and very cooperative. Super emphasis on safety as well. Nice little seating area that is air conditioned while you wait for your oil change. It is ideally located as well right off the road so no winding streets or hidden locations to find the place. Do look for coupons online as you can save plenty of the price. Would definitely come here again

This place is terrible! I went to get an oil change for my SUV - not only did they charge over $100 for an oil change BUT THEY DIDNT EVEN CHANGE THE OIL. They emptied the oil in my car and gave it back to me - I didn’t even know they didn’t change it until my car started stalling a day later and messed up the engine. I will never ever recommend this place to anyone. I asked for a complete refund as well, which they said they were going to mail since they didn’t perform the service, and they never sent it to me.

Over one $100 for an oil change. And it includes nothing else at this price. I added my own coolent and changed my air filter for $32. Also, the attitudes of the men who work there are impatient and fail at being courteous. I dont go back. However, I want to thank my service man for alerting me to things needing to be done to my vehicle.

Absolutely avoid visiting here. I had my oil changed and brake pads replaced and they were not adequately checked. I drove off to find the brakes were not safe and had to bring the car back where I was blamed for the repair and the front desk staff was incredibly rude. I would avoid going here at all costs.

Reasonably priced and never had to wait too long. Last visit AC wasnt working, they did a flush and refill, plus oil change (for $180) in 30 minutes. Terrific lady has worked the desk for years, always look forward to passing the time with her.

Fantastic experience! I felt welcome and taken care of. All charges were explained to me, as well as preventive maintenance. They did an oil change, vacuumed my carpets, and checked various fluids, etc. for safety measures. All of this was done efficiently and for a very reasonable price.I will be returning to take care of these things in the future. Im so glad I found a fantastic auto care so close to me!

I am a recent college grad and just moved to Alexandria for a job that fell through at the last minute. As you probably can assume money is extremely tight. Between balancing my student loans, trying to find a steady job, and other living expenses, maintenance on my car has fallen to the way side just a little. I knew my 2004 Honda Civic was due for an oil change by the way she was making some noises at me – it seemed like she was moaning to get looked at. I read the reviews about Lube-It and I decided to take a chance there. I mostly liked the fact that it was supposed to be an in and out service with minimal down time.I reluctantly drove over there because I wasn’t exactly sure what I was getting into and I’m new in town. I was honestly in and out of there in 20 minutes with an oil change. It was really reasonably priced and they even did some extra services I wasn’t expecting (like wiping down my dash). I was out the door and on to my next errand. Later that night I forgot I was even there because it was literally such a quick stop during my day. Will come here again for the quick and easy service.

Terrible!!!Last week i went to have an oil change and was told I needed to replace the brake pads. They tell me itll be an hour (so I leave). An hour later I call back and they tell me they dont have my brake pads in stock, but someone is delivering them. Then 1.5 later they call to tell me the wrong brake pads were delivered.Then, the following week they call to inform me they have the correct pads. They replaced them and my brakes make loud noises they never made. They inform me I probably need to replace the rotors (which I wasnt informed of before). So $200 and significant amount of time wasted later, I have brake pads that are less effective and noisy. Ridiculous!

I was waved right in when I pulled up and they changed my oil in minutes. Get the full service oil change as they check fluids and vacuum the car too. They told me my coolant tank was really low and they filled it right up. The interior looked great. They did a really great job with no nonsense.

I went today and clearly told them that i needed a change of oil and FILTER i just got new oil but no new filter they a whole scam.

Great place to bring your car and they provide a full range of lubrication and services for your vehicles. Also they use BG products that enable your car to go longer distances especially if theyre older. It is a clean atmosphere and the usual wait time is less than 20 minutes.

First, the review proved by Peter G. fails to note that his coupon was two years old, or that he was rude to an old woman working the desk. This is my first visit to Lube It and the only bad part was that customer. The services here are quick and fairly priced. Try to come another auto service place with a 4-star rating! They earned every one of those stars and one extra with me today!

Mechanic lied right to my face. He said I needed a transmission fluid flush and coolant flush. I literally had those two things done at the same time August 2018. When I told him this he tried to tell me it needed to be done once a year.....I’m not an idiot. I have an automatic and it’s actually 60-100k miles or even more. I’m never going here again.

This the second time Ive been to this garage and the second time was as good as the first. This is easily the most painless place Ive ever used for an oil change in my 20 years of living in VA.The employees are friendly and very efficient. They began working on my car within minutes of my arrival and the whole operation was done within 15 minutes. The place is very clean, including the waiting room.The best thing is that I was out the door for 35 bucks...and that included the canister style oil filter that my car requires. Some of the other places Ive been to in the past have charged me twice that amount because of this special filter. Ive found my regular oil change place.

I was first recommended to this shop when I moved from Michigan to Virginia and have never doubted their dedication to providing excellent, timely service. They have worked on three different vehicles of mine over the past 6 years and I have never encountered a problem with their repairs or maintenance work. Id strongly recommend them to anyone.

These guys were brilliant. Long story short, I had to tow a trailer as there was no space to unhitch. The guys helped me out in a difficult spot by manually aligning the trailer to the jeep to allow it to enter the garage. Needless to say, stressful situation to be in as you have engine smoke and backed up traffic.Great customer service

Go to place for quick and reasonable oil changes and minor repairs. Staff is friendly and tempo of work high. Know what you need want BEORE you go in to avoid buying something you dont need / want. Been a loyal customer since it was a hole in the ground.

Mount Vernon Lube It is suck. Employees was not friendly and means to the customers. They dont do their work properly and they gossiping in Spanish language to each others about the customers. Too bad that I went there and fixed my car coz of my friend told me to and also they are not nice to their customers. I WONT GO THERE AGAIN!!! I dont even want to give a ☆ to this company. Bad Employees that I never seen it before.

Very fast oil change as advertised. I would give 5 stars except their website says they offer state inspections, but they do not.

1. The oil filters they use are the smallest, cheapest, filters Ive ever seen.2. They cross threaded my drain plug. I used to be able to loosen the plug with a one tug of a wrench and then hand turn it the rest of the way. Not anymore. The threads are a mess. Ive worked in a few shops throughout high school and college. The only people who do this are incompetent and/or negligent.3. Considering the filters, I doubt they use Penzoil as the name suggest. Cheap shops use the cheapest oil they can get.4. I checked the oil right after they changed it. The oil was already black less than 5 miles on my 1.6 liter stock Honda engine, which . Did they even change the oil?

Pretty cheap oil change considering other locations. Went there to just have an oil change and they wanted to replace a whole bunch of other stuff. The worst part was how they offered to change my cabin air filter for $40. I changed it myself in 5 minutes for $14 at a local AutoZone.

I went here because i did not have time to change my oil myself. I was a mechanic for 4 years and always work on my own vehicle. The mechanic who worked on my truck tried to charge me for extra quarts of oil, thinking i was too stupid to know how much my truck takes. I called him out on it and he continued to lie about it. His name was Edwin and i wouldnt be surprised if he is the Eddie mentioned in another review. After i walked away and told him i will never be back, he came inside and told the lady to charge me for the correct amount. When i came home and checked under the hood, he left oil all over the whole engine compartment. Needless to say, i will never bring my truck back here and highly suggest you think twice about bringing your vehicle here.

BUYER BEWARE. RIDICULOUSLY DISHONEST PRICING & PEOPLE. The fact that this type of arbitrary pricing is allowed at this establishment is the reason I will never return to this particular Lube It ever again. Please read below for details on my experience.I recently went in for a routine oil change and was alerted that two of the belts on my car were cracked and needed to be replaced. So, having a general distrust of mechanics I asked how much it would be and was quoted with a price of $199.95 and was told that it would take about a half hour. I questioned the pricing thinking that this was a ridiculous amount to pay and the attendant, his name was Eddie, told me that this was the price that was set by corporate, but he would throw in a free air filter just grease the skids. So, I went forward with the service and after about a 15 min wait Eddie came back and told me that only the alternator belt actually needed changing and he adjusted the price to $144.95. While being rung up I noticed that the cashier was hand-jamming the price into the computer, which tipped me off that this was not in fact a corporate price. After paying for the services I left and called the other Lube It in Merrifield to get a price quote on the same service and was quoted a price about 60 bucks less. I then called the auto dealership that I purchased the car from and was quoted a price that was even lower.So, I called this particular Lube It back and talked to the lady at the front who transferred me to Eddie, who then told me the same lies he told me before. I then asked for the manager who I told about everything. He then asked what the Lube It in Merrifield quoted me and he passed me back to the kind lady who answered my call who is sending me a check for the difference in amount.Price mix ups can be common. But my main beef with this place is that arbitrary pricing is even allowed. Eddie lied to me at least three times (first price, second price, corporate price), then the lady at the front didnt catch the egregious pricing for this service, and lastly the manager didnt sound remorseful at all and strongly suggested I get store credit instead of requesting a refund, which I couldnt even pick up that very day. I hope I get that refund check, my fingers are crossed, but given this places track record I will not be surprised if it doesnt.

Avoid with extreme prejudice. I took a friends car there to have the oil changed. I had personally changed the brakes and rotors in her car less than 500 miles earlier.The manager told me I need new rotors. I asked him to show me why. He said they had rust on them. Anyone who knows anything about cars will read the previous sentence and think you misread it. You didnt. He said the rotors had rust and needed to be replaced.For those unfamiliar with auto repair. He showed me the rust on top of the rotors. There is not a car on the road that doesnt have rust in this place. All cars have rust there.This business is operated by the type of human garbage that not only should not be allowed to remain in business, they should be avoided with extreme prejudice. Could not be more dishonest if they tried.

The first time I took my car here 3 years ago it only took 15 minutes to get an oil change. I took it here 3 days ago and lo and behold, it took 10 minutes. You can’t beat the convenience, prices (40 bucks out the door) and the service for that much. As always, a big thanks to the mechanics.

$84.95 for Mobile 1 Oil change is an average price, but there was almost a 30 minute wait before they started working on my car. Additionally, $29.95 for a tire rotation seemed a bit steep. Used to seeing a tire rotation costing an additional $15-20.
