Mmm. Best espresso Ive had outside of Italy. The atmosphere could not be moe relaxing or inviting. Will definitely be back.

This is the best coffee shop I’ve ever been to. It was on the way back from Toronto. Reminds me of Pascal’s in Gainesville, FL. It seems like these types of places exist mostly in smaller towns. Wish they had one in Baltimore!Had a chocolate chip scone and a latte.

What a superb coffee shop!! The interior was so clean and elegant within a amazing building. The staff was helpful and insightful. The menu was chalked full of delicious treats and I tried multiple beverages because I couldnt help myself. They were 👌!! 5☆

What a gorgeous place with amazing coffee and delicious scones and quiche! Had the Rachel coffee (yum) ham & cheese scone and bacon & spinach quiche - both were incredible!!! The interior is just what you might expect inside a gracious old mansion!

The setting itself -- really what arch digest dreams are made of. No one in town can touch this place on comfort or a truly old world Williamsport feel. You can really feel the love and passion these folks have put in to make this coffee shop everything it is - the best in town!

What an awesome way to use one if the mansions on Millionaires row!It was a little weird to me to be in this park of town, as while I was growing up, this was a bad part of town. I love that they are trying to revitalize this part of town.I think its good to mention that parking here is limited and is street parking. The interior is beautiful and true to the Era of when it was built.That being said, the coffee was wonderful, and the barista was very knowledgeable. They have ALL the ways to brew coffee. I saw a Chemex pour over and a French press. I ordered a Breve Latte which was excellent and expertly made.

It is such a splendid little coffee shop! I will definitely be back. The bake goods are delicious as are the drinks. The flavorings are actually from France! The baristas are friendly.

Picked out this little café to break up a days drive from Philly to Rochester. Its a cute little establishment in the first floor of a large house. It was slow when I stopped by around noon on a Monday, but a few more people had tricked in by the time I left. Staff were friendly and helpful in answer questions on any drinks, and they offer a 10% student discount! Always a nice bonus. I got myself an almond milk latte and an almond croissant. Four stars rather than five only because I didnt love the non-flavored latte - that is, I prefer to take mine without any flavor shots, and I found that here the espresso was a bit off from what Im used to. Im sure I might have preferred it with flavoring, and for most people who want a good French vanilla latte, thats probably fine. Id also love to go and try some of their pour over coffees next time; there were some interesting looking flavors listed when I went in. Lots of seating available, and I saw a chessboard in one of the side rooms. If I were a student in the area, I would see myself and my friends spending lots of time here.

Had friends visiting from Texas. We all had a great cup of coffee and sat outside on the porch. Learned a lot about the history of the building.

First visit...Definitely one of Williamsports hidden gems! Today a friend and I decided to catch up. The Victorian home atmosphere, and different seating options were so warm and beautiful. It was the perfect place for our visit. We ordered the hibiscus tea, the chocolate hazelnut latte and a blueberry muffin, all were delightful! To top it off the couple that owns it were such a pleasure to talk with. I will definitely return with others.

One of my favorite places to be in all of Williamsport. The atmosphere is phenomenal. Can you get any better than a Victorian house? Music on Friday nights adds to the nice environment. I have gotten lattes, mochas, espresso, regular coffee and cream soda and its always great. And the baked goods :) !

GREAT coffee; GREAT atmosphere. This is our(my husband and I) go to coffee and tea café. They offer fantastic baked goods and grind a “mean” coffee bean. Their atmosphere is unparalleled in Williamsport. Check them out.

Some of us are all watching and waiting for the owners to catch covid (a respiratory disease FYI) as it is only a matter of time given their unwillingness to wear a mask and take basic precautions throughout the pandemic. It is not a matter of if, but when. And it will be devastating if what they say about the asthma is true. What’s worse, being a little sick from wearing a mask (which is not a thing) or being on a respirator for weeks? We’re about to find out hehe

Just had to have a white chocolate raspberry scone after seeing the post yesterday. Enjoyed that with a cup of orange tea. Went there with family for the warm cozy atmosphere on this cold and snowy morning. The Victorian structure is just beautiful and the proprietors, Ron and June were so gracious and eager to explain some of the history regarding the building built back in the 1800s which is now the cafe. Would recommend to anyone. If you like classic Chinaware, antiques, serene yet festive atmosphere and friendly conversation with good food and beverages; you will feel at home here.

I have not been here since the pandemic hit and was disappointed that none of the staff during todays visit were wearing a mask. The customers, on the other hand, showed more common sense and maturity. Wont be coming here again.

Found this little spot thanks to Google while passing through the area. Beautiful building, very nice staff and great coffee/tea! If we lived in the area, we would absolutely hang out here. Lots of sitting space and would be a great place for meeting friends. Wouldve love to have tried the quiche- maybe next time we are passing through central PA!

I just visited this place and thoroughly enjoyed a specialty drink, which was delicious. Their coffee is perfectly balanced and the baked goods are scrumptious. The interior blew my mind. Its decorated for the holidays and the staff were super friendly. I highly recommend for coffee and relaxing.

This coffee shop is a rare gem! We enjoyed delicious honey latte and coffee with scoops of ice cream! Plus quiche & chocolate chip cookies that melted my granddaughter’s heart. My daughter absolutely loved the honey latte and I never thought ice cream and coffee together would have me begging for more!! I would drive 5 hours again just to sit in such a peaceful atmosphere, with the most wonderful, gracious hosts. If your in the area - make it a MUST stop.

I absolutely love this place, very cute and cozy victorian style house with an electric fireplace. Also their coffee is A+ they have a honey latte that is a must try using raw honey. Also they make all their baked goods in house they owners are very nice and Ive had a lot of fun conversations with the two of them

The Wrights really know how do serve you right! Beautiful Victorian shop. I couldnt imagine a better coffee house. Always enjoy the little touches in the food offered and the decor. Plus a very pleasant atmosphere. And if your blessed to have a conversation with the owners its like visiting loving family. Highly recommend. Way, way better than chain stores IMO.

Awesome little spot with lots of character! The house is beautiful and offers seating outside in addition to the three seating sections inside. I enjoyed the honey latte and my mom enjoyed a tea.

Mom and pop kind of feel when it comes to the workers. The atmosphere is warm and semi-Victorian surrounded by teapots and china. The drinks are so tasty, the baked goods are scrumptious. This is my go to place for an Espresso Affagato and a London Fog in Williamsport.

A nice size coffee shop in an old house along 4th Street cant get much better. The atmosphere is great, and it is a quiet place. Good for working on things, reading, or catching up with friends. Coffee and tea are good, too!

Great scones and coffee in an amazingly refurbished historic house on Williamports renowned 4th Street - millionaires row. Sit by the fire in the front parlor. The local owners are very friendly and welcoming. A great respite experience during the holiday season.

Wonderful place to invite a friend for coffee, as well as various other beverages, and pastry. Coffes are extremely delic!! A nice place to sit and study. Many different groups meet at Backhouse Cafe, from Church groups, knitting, and much more! One of my faves!!!
