Has a takeout out order window which is walk up and pretty convenient. Had Gluten Free bagels (plain)! I had it with an Original Classic breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! Went at 7:45 on a Sunday and there were a handful of people waiting, but everything came out fast and tasted great

Ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese and a plain bagel which wasn’t cut properly. The cheese wasn’t melted. i asked for butter and jelly on my bagel and it seemed as if someone just put a stick of butter in between the bagel. No care for the order whatsoever, overall terrible meal to start your day.

WOW!!!!!! We are originally from New Jersey, but moved to Miami and we came back because the food in Miami is disastrous. We went up to the manager Andre, to thank him personally for the awesome food. New Jerseyians, please don’t sleep on this place or take it for granted.

Bagels and croissants are good - but staff (manager also) was rude when requested to cut bagel in a certain way. Even if the request was confusing - its still not right to aggravate client on Thanksgiving morning.Staff at Union location, where my friend went after, was pleasant.

Unbelievable. I ordered 2 items through their website to get picked up. I ordered them around 10am and got a confirmation that it would be ready by 10:39. A pretty long wait but whatever. Then I get there and wait in a line that is all over the place, only to stand outside in the heat for 30 minutes for them to tell me that they couldn’t find my order until now and that they would start making it. No apology, no refund, no nothing. I had ordered an iced coffee when I got there and it was completely melted by the time I left. If I hadn’t already paid online, I would have left. And I am not the only person they had done that to while I was there. You don’t think someone standing outside in the heat for 30 minutes and still not getting their order that something isn’t wrong there?

Its a staple of the town. The bagels arent what youd get in NYC, but my kids love it and theyre very nice and accommodating there. You can text an order ahead to make pickup easy, and theyll do anything from plain bagels to lunch sandwiches. Just steps from the train station, this is also an easy place to wait before a commute.

Could not believe how unprofessional and unpleasent demeanor whoever the women store manager was to me over the phone. My order was mistakening sent to thier location using the Chow Now App. I live in an entirely different state and she would not approve to have my money refunded. She was very rude over the phone when explaining that it took 20 mins to get ahold of thier location because I was at the location the food was supposed to be sent to and had to talk to then and call Chow Now.Update: I spoke to Joshua Wang who is the business owner who was also rude. I explained that between placing the order on ChowNow, calling thier store ( which was not 20mins), Chow Now calling them, and then recalling the store I still was met with such disrespect and hostility. Chow Now explained there was a glitch and didnt understand why my order would be placed in an entirely different state since it goes off of your current location. Joshua states my order had to be thrown away but in another statement says it was donated to the homeless which I do not believe happened at all but was trying to save face. At the end my bank is disputeing the charges and thats not my main issue. Its the pure unprofessionalism and lack of customer service.

When ordered through doordash for a dozen bagels. They did not even send the cream cheese with it. Ordered for 13 bagels and I end up getting 11 bagels. This is ridiculous. When I call them. They say call door dash and ask them as if the driver ate them.

Bagels were terribly stale- Taylor ham tasted like it’s been sitting out for hours- I asked the owner for a refund which I never do especially for only $8 but that’s how bad the food was. He refused! I never would’ve went there due to the poor feedback around town about this place but its right next to train station and we were starving, yuk yuk yuk! 🤮

Great bagel and coffee place right by the Westfield NJ Transit station! They are pretty quick too, so they wont be the reason you miss your train.Im a fan of their sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel! Ask for some hot sauce if youre feeling adventurous.

Great products, decent coffee. What really makes it though is the people. I constantly come 10-15 minutes before opening as a result of my job and they were always accommodating and helpful. They have a wife variety of bagels, muffins, breakfast foods, and beverages. Id recommend this place for any who want a good breakfast early in the morning.

After living in NYC for a few years I was skeptical that I could get bagels that were just as good as my favorite place in the city (Gramercy Bagel, check out my review on them). Manhattan Bagel lives up to its name…it’s a little taste of NYC right here in Westfield.This is a great stop if you’re on your way to work in the morning or just looking for a local place to have a quick breakfast. We stop here on Saturdays before we start running around town. My wife loves it because they have plenty of options and she can have her favorite – Everything Bagel with a smear of Chive & Onion and slice of tomato.I always end up with my personal favorite “Whole wheat bagel with egg whites and turkey bacon.” They always make it perfect. Everything is in perfect proportion and the bagels are fluffy and delicious.Busy times here are usually Sat/Sun mornings – If you come around 8:30 expect to hit a line…. It moves quickly though. I try to get here around 7:45AM and I avoid the rush.

I just went there few minutes ago to grab a coffee before I get on the train. I did few times before everyone was nice but just now the ladies, who are working in the front, were rude. As soon as I walked in, one of the ladies just looked at me straight with some kinda attitude?? Maybe she just looks like that but I felt a bit rude. No smile no greetings at all. I walked up there and said ‘hello’ to them first. Smh At first, I thought they were rude because I am an Asian?? But I guess other people also had same issues like I just had. I also work in service/hospitality industry but I never do that to customers.

This place is and has always been the real deal. I will say however, since they have started allowing Uber eats and Stub Hub orders their service and wait time has been below sub par. Extremely disorganized and normally Andre has the place in ship shape order.Response to owner :Funny enough, Josh I did preorder through your app. I even waited 20 minutes to come in, then another painstaking 27 minutes once at your establishment. ANDRE was working the prep station, and a younger, stocky black male (who was overly flustered and the major contributor of your disorganization). I would be glad to provide a time and transaction receipt so you can verify my claims. Additionally, I dont know if your intention was to condescend by suggesting i dont know about grub hub or online order services.. however, when it was just you running things (with Andre there as well), the place was in its best shape. now mornings are met with empty coffee thermoses, milk spilling from dispensers, and total disorganization at your point of sale (cashier).

Manhattan Bagel of Westfield has great bagels and excellent customer service! We ordered bagels from Manhattan Bagel for the Westfield High School Blue Devils for every team breakfast. Our orders were always ready on time and they even helped us load the bags in our cars! We are definitely using Manhattan Bagel again for the upcoming season!!!
