I have always been impressed by Costco until now. We purchase 80,000 miles tires 2 years ago (approx 30,000 miles ago) for our 2015 Honda Odyssey almost $1,000 total. We have had them rotated at every service interval (approx 7,500 miles). We also had the car aligned before installing, and again after they told us the wear was uneven with about 20,000 miles on the tires. Now they say they need to be replaced and there is no warranty, due to uneven wear. The alignments were performed at the dealership both times with no notes of any mechanical issue. So we had the tires less then half the warrantied amount, and now need to spend another $1000 on new tires that probably wont be warrantied either. The clerk at the tire desk was extremely unhelpful, just told us no warranty and to order new tires ourselves?I will be looking elsewhere for tires, and will probably start using Sams club more often since I can not rely on Costcos warranties any longer.

I love Costco. I have gotten some of my clothes there and also they have great customer service. If you need by bring something back pretty much no questions asked. Prices are good so are sales

I would give it 5 stars if those at the customer service counter would have been more personable. Customer service is key and those tasked to be the mouthpiece for the store to those coming in with having an attitude of not wanting to be there does take away from the experience for the customers. Besides that I felt safe with the pandemic, found what I needed and the store was clean and stocked.

Clean & organized. Smaller than other Costco stores in the area. Can get crowded.

The cleanest, and most professional people and store! If I could, I would put a billboard telling everyone to get a costo membership! Get the best bang for your buck while buying in bulk at Costo! Especially this one! The building is huge, offering more of a variety of items ranging from grocery, apparel and entertainment! Thank you guys for a top of the line experience.

I purchased an A/C unit from Costco, who subcontracts out to Superior Water & Air in Salt Lake City.I scheduled an appointment to install my unit. They were a day late.The installers left a mess which took me1.5 hours to clean up. They also left several holes in the drywall. It took them 2.5 weeks to repair that, and they were late.Still havent received the $1500 rebate card from Costco.I arranged my schedule to accommodate them.I was going to book cruise through Costco because thought they vetted their contractors. Obvious they do not, so I wont book the cruise or purchase any other major product from Costco or Superior

Great prices but they always move your favorite items around ! And then one day its gone only to reappear 4 months later. Its like a treasure hunt at times. I wish they had a dedicated clearance section?

Worst Customer Service. If there was a way to put zero stars I would. This experience is like other experiences I have had with this Costco. Ive been to other Costcos and this never happens. I brought over a tray of cheese danishes. Well I forgotten that I need to grab another. I get to the front with a full cart. The lady cashier says wheres the other tray. I said, Theres only one. She says, Well you cant buy just one. Well I just want one, I say. She then says, Purchase and you can go grab the other tray. Then I said, Can you have someone grab one for me? Im pregnant. YOU CAN SEE IM PREGNANT AND THE DANISHES ARE ALL THE WAY IN THE BACK OF COSTCO. Then the lady cashier and another lady helper say, We dont have anyone that can go back there and get that for you. I look at them wondering well one is ringing me up and surely you can walk faster than me to grab them. You have two people here... Before I can finish my sentence the cashier says, Ok we do it.This isnt the only incident that has happened to me at this Costco. The manager and the culture here is awful! If I didnt live nearby this Costco Id make the drive to the Salt Lake City one which Ive always been helped even when theres so many people there.

Apparently you need a Costco card to get food now. Instead of politely telling me that that was the case, a lady in the exit yells at me as I’m halfway through the door asking for a card and tells me to get out. Very inappropriate. Ive always had good experiences at Costco but this ruined it for me.

Costco is a place that has good deals, but you must be aware, because not every thing is a good deal. There can be long lines. You may get run over by gigantic carts if you arent careful. Speaking of giant, a lot of items are huge!! Good food court. Dont expect to leave this store spending less than $100 and wondering if you really need every thing you just bought.

This location is a joke. I shop here 3 times a week on my lunch, 2/3 days I fill up the basket and leave it behind due to lines that go to the back of the building. The only open 2/6 self checkouts but have 2 employees at rye entrance and exit checking receipts. I call administration when I walk in and ask fir them to open more registers or more self checkouts. They say ok but never do so enjoy putting my basket full of groceries back, 13 people in the two open registers and 20 in the 2 open self checkouts. No wonder they have the lowest sales in the state, nobody can check out and self checkout is a joke with no scanners and only 2 open.

Cashiers are generally nice people but screw up over scanning items. Tire centers customer service is terrible. They should have better training. Eye centers customer service is terrible. They should have better training. This West Valley City location should follow the Spanish Fork location. The Spanish Fork location is night and day better than the West Valley City location. Im considering ending membership because the West Valley City Costco locations workers have some of the worst customer service Ive had to deal with.

Only had to pick up contact lenses and nothing is more fustrating than waiting 25 minutes while Ken is chatting it up with a customer as three other customers are also waiting. I arrived and took a ticket number, so did the next customer behind me. But Ken decided who he wanted to take care of first, which is now irritating. The other customer was coming in to pick out a new set of glasses, so I had to ask the customer if hed just let me pick up my contacts real quick before it took another 30 minute which he kindly pointed out to Ken since he also knew i was there first. More employees or training Ken to be more effecient is needed in the optical department.

It was really congested at the start of the work week. People are everywhere and many of them seemed to be loitering; one person was with their family, lounging on display with their bare feet on the ottoman. It was very inappropriate.

The clerk & assistant that checked me out were too busy discussing his, op# 49 name:Jack 80, love life to pay attention to what they were doing. When I asked them to put a 40# bag of dog food back in the cart the way I had it, they both were VERY RUDE in their response. Yeah, dont worry about it. Too busy talking to say thank you. AND, they missed charging me for laundry detergent & fabric softener.

So, I love going to Costco. The only problem is now, is that I use oxygen 24/7. And in order for me to even navigate the whole warehouse. I need to use their mobile carts. The down side is they only have like 5 mobile carts. So if you have trouble getting around or your like me and use oxygen 24/7. You might need to wait awhile for a mobile cart.

Wide aisles and great staff cleaning and stocking the store with seductive merchandise.

Have being months the Churros from food court are coming half burnt. I loves churros but burnt becomes sour 😔

Evertime I go i Never see your bamboo items any more. Please bring these back. Shopping on a Saturday isnt what I usually do, but they handle it incredibly. Everything is protected with covid restrictions, spacing and one ways. They are always making sure they have enough people and help around for no matter how many customers they get. It was a fantastic trip!

This place is great if you have growing kids that eat non stop. Costco has bulk cereal, eggs, milk any many snack options for you kids to devour. Thank God for Costco.

Rudest place went in to go get a membership asked if I can see if theres products that I would want to buy potentially they wouldnt even let me look what am I supposed to do by the membership and then if I dont like it get a refund? thats pretty pointless as a potential member.

We only use the pharmacy here but weve had great experiences and the staff are very nice and helpful. They have great deals on any medications or prescription equipment you might need. They do try to talk you into a Visa card or similar but we just tell them no. Other than that, they have great hours, the automated pharmacy phone system works perfectly and they always have our items ready quickly.

An amazing store, with some very good deals. Thank you to the staff for there awesome smiles and help. The surroundings in the store are very clean and the othere customers were, very respectful of each other. Thank you.

Ive never been to a bad Costco, I dont know if there even is one. Typical satisfaction and good quality from this one. You save money on some bulk and name brands, and I have some favorite Costco staples. However, if youre generally frugal and accustomed to buying store brands, you may not save any money with Costco. There are definitely savings with at the gas pump though. 4 stars because its not the biggest money saver for me.

This Costco is smaller than others and backwards from the Murray one. Usually pretty busy but you can get through the self check out pretty fast.

First time here as were traveling. Good selection of all items. A few that we dont have in Denver.

Great service and customer service. Only reason i chose 4 stars is they were out of water and could only buy i box of nitrate gloves which i need for work.

I went in very late, near closing time, and it was raining, and I thought that it being Friday the place would be packed. I found everything that I had hoped would be available, and as an added bonus, some items that were sold out on a previous shopping visit. SO HAPPY! Service was great as usual. Good job Costco! :^)

I love Costco! Wait, I love this Costco! Staff is great! But when I buy bigger items and they send a crew to help load it in my truck, the loud complaining is unprofessional. 😑 other then that. When I check out and if a cashier notices I’m missing out on a sale with items in my cart for example, I could actually get 2 of something for the price I’m about to pay... and then they even run to get me the second one. 😳😱 theyre so nice and quick to help.

Awful. I am giving up my 20 year membership. The guy at the door tried to force my 4 year old to wear a mask. The shoppers are so brainwashed that they complain when your mask is below your nose. I am not sure who manages this place, but they have gone way overboard. Apparently mask policing has become more important than actual customer service. I am sure that the future of this company reflects what the are sowing today. Good riddance!

The West Valley Costco is always a positive experience. The store is always clean (very clean restrooms, too), the merchandise is always neatly arranged, and the staff is always polite. Very low prices for prescriptions.

I wish there was more like the other costco but everyone is always so sweet and the lines for check-out are normally quick.

I mean its Costco, it speaks for itself. I love the kirkland formula, its half price from Similac. Insane!

I got this brands lentils last time.., they are very good! I was happily surprised! So.., today I saw this other kind & decided to try it.. Hopefully I will like it as well as the lentils, or better! I am excited to try it.(& a course the Charmin t.p. is a good thing too!)

This is my favorite Costco! They are always well organized, staff is always super helpful and pleasant, and even through the difficulties of the last 18 months they have been really awesome.

Its Costco. We all know what to expect from the place. I always recommend to know what you need before going in. And please for the love of God after having your receipt checked dont just stop in a high traffic area to put your things together in your wallet. Its super rude. Just keep walking!

Never been to this store before, went in to grab an item after being told it was lower cost here than my regular Costco. Grabbed that item and one or two others. No cart. Went to exit and was literally shouted at, not exaggerating, shouted at full blast by an employee for cutting in a line I didnt know was there to exit. I thought people were in line for the customer service desk which was literally right next to the exit. Was so shocked by the way I was being treated that I just walked out the door. Not like Ive stolen anything - I paid in full. The employee literally chased after me and continued to scream as loudly as possible that I was losing my membership for ignoring her. Ive never been treated like this in my life at any store for any reason. I dont go looking for trouble, and misunderstood how the lines were set up. If the employee had calmly pulled me aside I would have done whatever they wanted me to do with the line. I dont wake up in the morning and say to myself How can I be a rebel today? Oh I know! Ill cut the line at Costco!Treat people with respect and get respect in return. Treat people horribly and the best outcome you can expect is them walking away from you.

The fact after waiting 10 min because checkout is terrible. I get yelled at by an employee for have 3 books over the 15 limit. Literally yelling at me WANNA BET! When I said it was around 15. How is this acceptable? Then starts to count my stuff?! The lines are insane and your employee starts to yell at me for 3 over that a manager comes over and tells her its okay. Your so called 15 limit sign is a 8x11 paper taped to a pole. Do us a favor, faster checkouts, more lanes open and if there is a line do not wait until someone is literally walking up to checkout to tell them they are over and cannot be using this lane. The more important part dont yell at customers over this!

Most prices are lower ( in bulk ) them other places. The store is kept clean and orderly. The employees are polite and respectful.

Compared to other wholesale sellers it s a bit expensive. Membership is not as much good as they advertised, my mom had issues because my dad wasn’t with her. after we ate Anstains bagels bought there we had stomack pain. There are good things there.... but not for small family. Bread was close to expire (just one day)...

Love love costco. My mom works at one in CO, and we are a dedicated costco family love getting the deals, I sure do miss the samples though.

Love Costco! Always get my moneys worth coming here. Buy the Kirkland beans toilet paper and it lasts about a month and a half. Great bulk products and SAMPLES. SAMPLES EVERYWHERE! lol. The food court menu is Yummy all around and the prices are very inexpensive.

Top tier gas for much less then typical gas stations. Best pizza - large pizza $10. Best place for soda and batteries. The staff is very friendly here.

This location is good but the one on 300 west just has a bigger variety if you need specific items.

I don’t shop Costco often but when I do, I usually find some good deals. But they don’t do samples anymore this Covid thing sucks the life out of every store nationwide.
