If this is carol stream you need to work on knowledge of parts but the people were nice..if this is waukegan you need to work on customer satisfaction. I stood in a line consisting of 3 people only to buy a gallon of antifreeze. Took almost 20 minutes and I was late to my tow truck driver

I am not a very car savvy so when I needed new wiper blades, I went to AutoZone. Jorge was INCREDIBLY helpful with finding and replacing my wipers for me. They even offer military discounts for active duty, retirees and dependents.

They had what I was looking for but did not accept any kind of card for payment. It’s 2020 guys!! I had to go to a gas station’s ATM to withdraw cash but got what I needed. The guy working there didn’t seem too happy about his job. Idk what he was mad at but service could use an improvement

I had a very quick experience with the attendant here, she was a bit shorter and had dreads. She treated me with quick knowledge and helped me locate the exact bulb I needed for my headlight (low-beam). I know it’s not hard to find out but if someone doesn’t care it is very easy to mess up. Everyone at the counter seemed helpful and she also brought me to the exact bulb I needed in the isle. Thank you!

Im a car buff and this auto zone is great at keeping stuff in stock for not so common parts as well as common ones. Great friendly staff. Highly recommended

This Auto Zone has very helpful employees. Every time I come here Herb has always been great at assisting whatever my car issues are and always polite and courteous.

I was followed and harassed instead of being customer serviced by a gentleman with a grey shirt and glasses. He didn’t offer to help me find the product I wanted on my phone but watched me as if I would steal. Very disappointing and disrespectful. And he also didn’t offer to take my phone number for rewards program.

Clean store and associates help when finding merchandise. I had asked a guy to help switch out my headlight since it was getting dark and it blew out. He refused saying I would have to take out the entire headlight and he didnt have the tools. I went home having to use my high beams and had someone else replace it only needing to take out the light from the inside. So in the end the associate had absolutely no clue how to replace a headlight.

This place offers many free helpful services. Such as employees who know what to offer you and why. Almost any car part you could need. They offer free rewards membership cards for amazing deals. Aswell as a free car diagnostics test ( check engine light code reader) (obd) they also print out the engine codes for you to take home and can sell you the parts you may need before you go to the macanic. They change batteries, wiper blades, and lightbulbs for you if car meets eligible standards.

I bought 2wheel bearings for a total of 180 dollars and returned 1 now the bearing I had installed fell apart after maybe 5 miles and they would not warranty the defective bearing said they have no record of me purchasing these or returning one I will never buy another part ever from auto zone

Their system is ancient and can contribute to longer wait times. Staff is usually eager to help and are quick when fetching parts.

Good place to get automotive parts and tools

Im sorry but I have been a long time customer at this store. Two days ago I walked in the store and I over heard a new assistant manager talking about black people! I was so angry with what I had heard him say something about a ladys kid looks like a coon.i thought I would tell the manager but he was the person who he said it to. I will never go to that store again.
