Had a good experience in appliances dept. Flooring was different. Two guys sitting at their desks, too busy to give me the time of day. I needed tile and wanted an oriental rug. I guess Ill go to my regular Home Depot and buy it there.

Home depot pretty much has anything and everything you will need for any project big or small!!

If youre buying an expensive item, look on their website. They may have a better cheaper model then what they have in store. Most items ship to store at no extra cost. You just have to wait a few more days to save what could be a lot of money for something better than what you were going to get.

Found everything I needed on this trip. Forgot my cellphone. Clerk immediately placed it in her cash register to keep it safe. Awesome service.

I gave a 3 star rating for service. That is almost non-existent. Good thing we know what we are looking for and do not have to rely on help.

Was sold a dead, presumably returned washer. Huge pain to deal with but customer service / manager Chad was incredible. Took the return with almost no questions, 5 minutes after they closed because its the only time we could get there, THEN comped a way more expensive replacement for us. Very impressed that he was willing to do that. Honestly believed that I would need to take my business to Lowes after being sold junk but service like that earns my respect and Home Depot will surely keep my business thanks to Chad.

Your usual big box specialty store...pretty much the WalMart of Home Improvement and Various Power Tools. I usually go to the competition across the way. Basically due to ease of access and store size. I had a gift card for Home Depot and decided to buy my Husky Hand Tool Set there. I was happy with my purchase. Shopping experience was as expected.

Clean store. Easy to find what I needed. Employees are cheerful, helpful, and welcoming.

I had great customer service here. I arrived for an online order too late to use curbside delivery but they still allowed me to pull my car up to the door and helped me load my stuff!

When my hot water heater failed, I tried Home Depot first. What an experience. I called Home Depot and the employee who answered was not only not helpful, however he consistently failed to put me on hold properly, as well as failed to hang up; I could hear everything, they laughing, mocking me, making fun of my situation, and trying to make me sound like a monster customer to their fellow employees.I was told one of Home Depots technicians would reach me within 48 hours, even got an email saying such. Never heard anything, until they called a month later and asked if I was contacted. So if theres one thing I can say, if youre in a home emergency situation, Home Depot is not your friend.Ill update this review in a few days with more info.

We shopped in the garden center at the Waterville, Maine store on 60 Waterville Commons. We purchased 30 bags of mulch and needed help with loading it on our truck. We were assisted by James W. a very nice young man with a great personality. What a joy to find someone who wanted to help you and the personality to go with it. Hope he gets credit for this review. Home Depot you have a very fine employee!

Staff is always friendly, the ladies working the cash out line out by the flowers, plants and fertilizer were very friendly sharing their love of the plants. The plants outside seemed to have gotten a bit chilled from the frost we had but this is maine people, we know how that goes til memorial weekend. Everything in the building were gorgeous 😍 Prices were better than at the green houses. Its an awesome place to get your gardening needs at a bargain price. Just pick and choose accordingly 😌.

We ordered doors and will never order doors again there. When we called to go pick up on the day they told us they would be in and they said they sold them. Called again later and said oh no we did not sell them we did not get them in. Could not do anything for us. So I looked around and found them in a different store and said we could go there to get them. They said only thing you can do is cancel order and re-order at that store. Mind you its the same store! When I finally got ahold of person to cancel them she never even said what I was canceling and just said it was done.

A little disappointing that for a huge box store the smart home selection is dismal at best. Apparently Home Depot is ok with us looking to other places like Amazon. I guess from now on Ill start online before attempting to find what I want at my local big box store as they really dont have all that I want for my home improvements.

Went looking for a few items today, found a couple and some they were out of. But overall it was as expected. Home depot always seems to be adequately staffed and I can always find associates in a timely manner. And most are fairly knowledgeable in their respective areas. The only problem I find, is when I go, my bank account cant support my wish list...

Prices are higher than Lowes and Lakeview lumber so off we go.

Ignorance in every direction... customer service doesnt know who is capable of selling a refrigerator, who thier manager is, or if they can sell the lawn equipment products they advertise.I purchased a mower, and attempted to a trailer, after the mower transaction, the first teller left, second one steps in, and everything goes down hill. The manager is unable to be found, Ashley the assistant assistant store manager comes up front after 1 hour and 25 minutes to inform me, they do not have the titles to the trailer and they will not be selling me one. So unable to take my mower home I just purchased, she promises me prompt deliver the following morning.Following morning I received a call at 6 30 am. Called back at 8, and Chris, the operations manager or as he says the checkbook of home depot calls to tell me all of the paperwork WAS available and that Ashleys incompetence led us to the mistake.Chris claimed he wanted to make it right, and offered me 500 dollars off to come back to the location 40 miles from home and pick up my goods, rather than the delivery I was promised to avoid jamming my small business schedule. Chris then proceeded to tell me how he wants to help, but there are laws in place that an that they are unable to unload the lawn mower, they can legally load it, but would be unlawful to unload it. He wants to help, but is willing to bend the truth about laws and legality to avoid the delivery I was promised.Ashley was quick to shake her head no while I was explaining that I had spoken and confirmed I could pick this up before the long drive, as if I had not spoken with anyone. She was very quick to put the blame on others, and offer no solution or customer service.Chris was fine to talk with, but enjoys asking you a question and cutting you off with his answer to assure you he knows what you going to ask or say. I was surprised that the operating manager, or check book whatever Chris is, couldnt problem solve the transportation of a lawn mower. Chris didt even have any of my information to look at, asking, okay well whats your address... look at the invoice, if there is a situation with a customer, a manager at the least could pull up th invoice to ensure smooth communication, rather than 2 dropped calls and not even knowing what town he couldnt legally unload a mower in.I will certainly be looking for a full refund, and would rather drive a further distance to a competent vendor.

This guy Jesse in the screen door department was working the lumber aisle around 7:20 pm was incrediblely helpful to figure out to build our screen door. He figured out the best bang for our buck, got down on his hands and knees just to show us how to do it! Because of him I feel confident in this project AND HE RAN ACROSS THE STORE TO BRING ME A TOOL HE KNEW ID NEED! TOP MARKS!! Get that man a raise!

Went to home Depot to get black mulch the people there are very helpful they loaded my car for me to help me get it right and got that to the car too Im on crutches so if youre disabled and you need something just ask ask them if they can help you and they will five stars

One of my favorite stores. It has almost everything. Its just a little too pricey for me.

Have a wide variety of plants at a reasonable price,need to train help,baught fencing, employees didnt know how to access, was told they couldnt get any more till one guy, after 4 people trying, was noligable of the system.

Had materials dropped off and the woman that was driving the forklift was the most rudest person I have ever dealt with. Home Depot just lost all of our business thanks to her. Also my husband called and asked them to drop the materials in a specific location and she dropped them on the opposite side of the house. Word of mouth goes a long way and family and friends will be hearing about this!!

The reason I gave a 3 star rating is because Home Depot doesnt seem to care if customers wear masks or not. Had a incident today, saw a customer talking to a associate and he had his mask down by his chin. After he walked away I confronted her about it, she said I know I told her everyone is supposed to be wearing them and if I see it again I will reported it.

It was terrible there was nobody to help you in the Departments that I was looking at which was Windows and Doors. I finally found someone who wasnt in that department that tried to help me then I went to check out and I waited and a new cashier came up instead of asking who was next just took another person I had to wait a long time to get my wall board. I hate going to Home Depot

0K cant believe how prices are going out of style

Normally I love this store, but the previous 2 visits have left me beyond frustrated. This is the second time in a row that I have checked on the availability of an item before going in, only to find out that the count was incorrect on the site, and was forced to choose between an item I did not particularly want, or to wait until the one I wanted was back in stock.Secondly, I was just in HD Waterville and had an interaction with a cashier, I believe by the name of Paula. I approached a checkout with its light on, signifying that the register was open. As I approached, there was a woman standing there counting money. I politely asked if she was open, and instead of verbalizing her answer, just shook her head clearly annoyed that I was asking a question while she was counting. I set my item on the counter and after a moment, exasperated, she said yes Im open, but now Ive lost count.Well, instead of sacrificing quality customer service, perhaps you should have closed your register. Im not sure what it is about workers in their sixties or older, but maybe someone should let her know that if she cannot maintain the quality of customer service that is expected, then perhaps its time for pasture.I will give HD waterville one more chance before I start going to the Augusta location....or while Im there, maybe Ill just swing into Lowes.

Being a carpenter I visit Home Depots across the state on a regular basis. This one is ok. Service is average but better than Augusta.

Has what we need but sometimes I can get the same thing at Walmart for cheaper and more convenient(I can get groceries and whatever I would have at homedepot). And the employees are not very friendly.

I ordered all my materials through Home Depot for a job and after paying $80 for a delivery fee they were 10 days late. My customers had there house torn apart while I waited for them. Hammond lumber comes same day delivery for free.... also, The customer service is very unorganized. they don’t keep your online orders on file in there computer for records of simple returns. Horrible service, I will never use Waterville Home Depot again.

Was surprised by the lack of service. Not one employee will even make eye contact with you so they dont have to help you. Was shopping for new flooring and appliances and not one sales employee approached me, or even said hello. The flooring section was empty of stock and the appliance section was full of dinted appliances.

So today I went in to see what they had for shower units. A gentleman took me to where they were located. I made a comment about the ones with the glass sides saying I liked those. He than tells me “You can’t afford those ones” and proceeds to show me the cheaper shower stalls. Who’s to say I can’t afford it or not. I left with empty arms n still a Full pocketbook

Some staff are very knowledgeable and helpful and some just kinda throw you in a direction because they are to busy to help you and its kinda irritating. Otherwise I love shopping at home depot it is my favorite home improvement store!!!

We took my sister in law to the waterville home depot...she needed several home improvement items and bird seed, we asked for assistance with a new toilet ...we were told we could get help out in that dept, we get there and 1st guy didnt help, and said customer service should help...then walked off in opposite direction, found another employee, they didnt know where to find a helper and forklift, 30 min later we finally recd help....then off to paint dept, those ladies were helpful and did their job, we went to find a 100 ft hose in garden dept. Box empty and all others, yup, on 3rd floor overhead... So my sis just decided to grab a more expensive one instead of waiting another half hour! No helpers in garden dept. !Found one finally and he took off in different direction to stock, flooring dept guy really didnt want to help, but reluctantly did.... worst visit ever to a home depot...they should refund her for the expensive hose she didnt go there to buy...

Id called ahead to see about getting pressure treated 2x6x8s. I asked 5he fellow I spoke with if they were decent and his reply was, theres a lift and a half on the floor and you should be able to find some good ones. I guess good is knots, warps, lots of edge wane, and bug caverns galore. No help to be found as I dug through 35 pieces to find 16 of the better ones, not that they are what Id say good ones over. Had to go out into the parking lot past five employees to get a lumber cart and then go back into the store to pick out the lumber. I guess good help is still hard to find! None the less with 16 2x6s I think Ill be able to build a decent picnic table and have it last for several years. My advice to anyone going in here is, grab a cart on your way in, be prepared to deal with everyone elses picked through boards, and forget help unless youre a regular contractor customer cause they were the only ones the yard boys were helping.

Went looking for window shades. The lady was very helpful and showed me all different things that I could do. She ended up cutting some blinds down to the length that I wanted.

Went in this evening to explore the purchase of a new Dishwasher (ours finally broke) and the salesperson could not be bothered to help us at all. When we told him we were interested in a stove combo purchase, he said everything was out of stock but we could shop online, no questions, no interest in us...Lowes made the sale.

The guy who brought our jet pump was very courteous.
