I had a fantastic experience. My hairstylist was IndyThe cut and color turned out fantastic . We miove around every 2 years J.C Penny has been my go to salon around the country I highly recommend Indy. I have thick course hair so its important to find someone who can handle it.

They must be suffering from a lack of employees like so many other places because the lines to checkout were 10 deep and there are clothes, shoes, etc strewn about in all departments. Going to be hard to come through Chapter 11 successfully if this persists.

Cashier was so rude. Spent $150.00 an SHE stuff everything into one bag...She should not be working in sales. Came home cut up my JCP MASTERCARD GOODBYE!!!!

I recommend the JCPenney salon. Jessica is one the friendliest hair dressers I know. She is fast efficient and knows just how to cut my hair.The salon is quietly settled in the store in front of customer service. Its a hidden go em within the store. Great places clean convienent.

Female store. It is not meant for men and never will be. Thier selection it so limited, it is just depressing.They do have good quality t-shirts.

No cashiers on the second floor. Unbelievable. I see this company going down the drain.

I knew more about the products and services offered then the associate that helped me in the jewelry department. Bought a watch and wanted to purchase a protection plan for the product. The associate was nice but did not offer to sign me up for the rewards program or the purchasing of the protection plan.

I usually LOVE coming to JC Penney but the lines are always ridiculous and theres always a catch to there sales

This place is a good place to shop because of their sales and rewards as a card member. But whenever I shop online, they ship me the wrong order or item and the rewards used for those orders will be invalid when I return the order. The packaging/Shipping department has to be improved

Jewelry sale is well worth checking out... Most rings appraise for double what the sale price is .... Good deals great selection and staff ready to help . It was a pleasure to shop for a ring no pressure from a commission driven salesperson... Nice job JCPENNEY see you on my next gold purchase...

Store probably needs a refresh in parts but its well run for the most part. Unlike Sears they actually have brands you care about for decent prices. Staff are helpful as well.This isnt representative of my rating but the long lines at the register are also a bit frustrating. I understand its more than likely staffing issues more than anything but having only one open can be a bit cumbersome.

I like JcPenney. I used to work there. I really like their clothes and you can always get a great deal. However, the new covid hours do not work for me. They do not open till 11am during the week. I like to start my morning early and having to wait almost midday to go and do business is ridiculous. Also, the return/online pickup counter is busy and should have more than one employee working there. Ive seen the same lady a few times now and shes very nice and efficient however she needs another employee to help with the large volume of customers. Overall, so glad jcPenney is still in business.

Never received notification that my apparel order was received at local store. Called 800 number two days after latest send by date, and the automated system couldnt find it. Finally talked to a customer rep and he found it, but now I have to call the local store to straighten it out myself. Also, last year, I changed my last name and faxed them all the documentation...TWICE...to get a credit card with my new name on it. Never received. I shop there very rarely now. Between the store being a disaster area and no customer service, I spend my money elsewhere.

Went there today around 430 ask to get My granddaughter hair trimmed the girl behind the counter said sorry were booked for today well that funny there were 3 hairdressers all talking didnt see one client i found her to be rude and I wont be going back

Very warm, turn up the air conditioner! Also, too much merchandise in the womans department to browse comfortably. I walked around the second floor twice trying to locate staff for checkout. Unfortunately, not a soul in sight. Had to schlep my items back to the first floor and stand in a long line.

Its old school and friendly. They sell almost everything and always have some kind of sale or discount going on. They redecorate/organized the place but the store associates saw me and jump to help me right away. Plus when I was being checked put they told me how I could get a bigger discount no strings attached. I left satisfied and happy. Great job great store. I am curious why they stop selling candy🤔

We got our photos taken here. The camera guy seemed like he would have done a better job if they had a camera that worked for him. He had to stop every picture and clean the flash. Because of that, he missed several times my kids were actually smiling. He couldnt focus on helping us with getting a good shot, because the camera kept not working. I would think they would have suggested a refund or something.

Rosa is amazing! She is extremely talented, with both color and cut. But more importantly, she is attentive and a great listener, always making sure she gives you EXACTLY what you want! I receive so many compliments on my hair each time she does it! I highly recommend her!!

Visited several times, never found a bargain worthy of reaching for my wallet. Great selection at prices just slightly beyond reason. Wanted several items, but could not justify the expense.Macys--in the same mall--is a better alternative (see my review of Macys). I bought items at Macys at up to 75% off.

Always a great sale!

One of only a few JCP stores left that was actually busy. If youre short in the height department, you will probably find what youre looking for. Taller people will have a difficult time looking for pants that fit. I wear a size 38 waist and a size 34 inseam. I couldnt find anything longer than a 32 inseam for my pants size.

Dont go to jc Penney too often. They did have what i was looking for on clearance, nice store but i personally wouldnt pay unless things were on sale or on clearance rack. Sales lady was very pleasant

I L💖ve shopping @ JCPenney! Especially for household goods!!! Today I went to pickup my grandbabys outfit, and see if I could get some towels. The towel selection in store (Warwick Mall) is a lot better than online!! It didnt have all the colors I wanted tho... Like Minty Green & a few others, but overall, a lot more available than online. Penneys is also my goto place for infant/toddler/kids clothes!!! Their Carters clothes selection is GREAT!! I hope we can all keep Penneys going so it doesnt disappear like Sears did.😔😪

Fantastic optical department! Helpful staff went over and above to help with my vision needs. I would recommend them again and again. LOVE my new glasses, and rocked 2 pairs with their $99 deal! The glasses were better quality than VisionWorks, who charged me much, much more. They are the best!

This was my first, and unfortunately the last, time at the salon in Warwick mall. The service was okay, but the pricing was horrible! I have NEVER paid this much for this style at any of the many JCPenney Salons Ive frequented. It was an incredibly disappointing experience. I encourage anyone to ask for the pricing upfront to avoid an unpleasant surprise.

We had to return some air conditioners to this location and we found the staff to be so helpful. Sometimes when returning items people give you a hard time but the staff was so helpful and efficient and getting my return processed. I highly recommend going to the store because it seems to be well run and the staff are very polite and professional.

Got my hair cut at the JC PENNEY Salon.I bought a boat load of towels and bed stuff, all of which was on sale. The sales people are friendly and helpful.I got new look, new household goods, and after a short walk, I got something to eat at the food court.You cant do that online, but you can if you visit JC Penney in the Warwick Mall.

JCPenney is a great store . The store has a good sized mens department with tons of choices the clearance department is always a great place to get a great deal. I have taken my step daughter here for many trips and she has always left very happy and satisfied. I am grateful of the staff because on occasion they have helped me and my step daughter when we have been in a bind. Great store with good staffing.

I was shopping for suits at Macys and realized I needed a haircut, head over to JC Penney which has the only stylists open on Sundays. Got a great haircut and went back to Macys shopping. I could never see myself buying anything clothing related at JC Penney its all stuff I would expect to see at Dollar General but the people were nice and the stylists great.

Nice to see them up and running. Need more staff to help people.

Trish in the salon is great! People think cutting short hair is simple, but its not. So many people have messed up my hair. Not Trish! Every time I leave I have an awesome cute cut! The prices are also pretty good. Im just so glad I have a JCP close my house so I can go to the salon easily!

I like how they sell name brand stuff Nike and adidas. Cant get that at a Walmart.

Online shopping was a good experience. I found a jacket on sale at a store near me and selected store pickup. Pay online and in a few hours your item is ready for easy pickup at the store.

You always get a good deal always use a coupon. I always find what I need plus some there.

This review is actually for the Sephora inside JCP. Would be five star if staff new policy regarding gift cards for purchases. Was told that I could not use Sephora gift card but that is not true. It was later in the day and I was not in mood to argue, so I just paid with CC.

Would give it 0 stars if I could. I wanted a portable washer/dryer set. Even though the website said the store had them in stock, I called appliances. Was left on hold for 20 minutes before I hung up. It only takes me 10 minutes to get to the store so we drove there. The guy was having a conversation with a woman. That is what he put me on hold for?! Oh and they didnt have it in stock. Sure would have been nice to have saved time and...oh, say, had someone tell me that by checking their computers. Oh well, guess where Im never buying anything from ever!

Talia did a great job managing our big family photo shoot. Cheerful, competent, quick to capture fleeting baby smiles. The JCP photo studio was wonderful.

Extremely dirty, only 2 registers open with 1 person at them, 1 fitting room open only 3 stalls open and no one maning them teen girls were sitting around taking selfies inside while line was out into the store jewelry counter. No sales people to help out on the floor. Will just stick to online shopping

Really impressed with the selection. I always thought of Pennys as more of a senior citizens store but they had lots of great styles!

Wasn’t my best experience. I went to pick out a snout for my husband. And due to extenuating circumstances he wasn’t able to come with me. This is the first time needed to look for one and had no idea what I was looking for. I had measurements from our wedding day but again. No idea what I was doing. And there was no one there to help me. Everyone was at the registers. I saw an employee walk by and I asked if they could help me for a minute and they pointed to the lady at the register and said “she works in this department and will be able to help you when she’s done” so. I had to wait till she was done ringing customers to come even talk to me. The at the register I was applying for a credit card and had entered too many zeros for my income. Instead of her saying something, she immediately pushed my hand out of the way and started deleting what I put in. I found it profoundly rude and uncalled for. So I pushed her hand away and said I could handle it, but thank you. She kept insisting. The thing is, I never said I messed up. She just assumed I didn’t make that much. Which was also rude.
