Everything you need. This Menards is super clean and organized. Many departments and staff everywhere to help you find what your looking for. There’s even a small grocery aisle. Holiday decorations are also always brought out early for people who plan ahead.

The ceramic tile selection is larger than Home Depot, the prices are better as well, their peel and stick tile selection is very low quality and expensive compared to Home Depot. The check out was so long I abandoned my stuff and went to Home Depot lol the people however, were very friendly.

I love this particular Menards. The employees are great, as well as the layout of the store. Beautiful store with all kinds of variety at good prices. The 11% store credit sales kind of force my wife and I to continually come back; which Im definitely ok with :). It is also our priority black Friday destination.

Had a rehab job for an apartment I own and used Menards for all the materials as I think they had the best priced products for what I needed. Full rehab that included a new granite kitchen countertop. I ordered the countertop with them and gave them all the dimensions that my contractor had told me. Expected arrival was 2 weeks, but it turned into 4 weeks. Thats understandable considering all the issues companies have had during the pandemic. Contractor goes to install the countertop and tells me that the sizing is wrong and theres a gap from the wall about an inch. I went to Menards and informed the manager, Heather, that the countertop came in incorrectly and she gave me 2 options. Either return the countertop and theyll make me a new one, or they could give me a credit for the wrong sizing. Since this was for a rental and I was already a bit behind schedule, I decided on the credit. Heather called me back and said they could do $100... Now mind you in order to fix the issue, I had to buy extra tile for the backsplash as well as extend my wall out to cover the gap. $100 did not even cover the cost of the tile I had told her, so she went back to her boss and they offered $200. Not to happy with that either, so I told her thats not enough and requested $400 since the sizing was wrong and with the extra materials I needed to purchase to fix the issue. She proceeded to tell me that It was not their fault since they created it to the dimensions I had given them. Admittedly It may very well have been my contractors fault since he gave me the dimensions, but she then proceeded to tell me I signed a contract that stated I refused Menards to come out and measure for the countertop themselves. I know very well that I never signed a document refusing them to measure. This all happened in December/January and now we are in May and I still have yet to receive the credit Menards has promised me. I have tried calling them and going in person to ask about the credit, but every time I go Heather is not there and no one else can help me. I will return as a customer as I do enjoy Menards as a company, but this was an awful experience that still has not been resolved for me. Here are photos to show for reference.

Ive been to this Menards to many time over the years to count with no problem except with special order wood. How can top grade wood be so low grade quality!! Looks like someone in a forklift had a fight with it, mold, warped, twisted, checks, cracking, not the same height.....I returned wood just to get more junk.I like Menards just not the wood supplier they use.So a zero star on special order wood and a five star on the goods inside..

Ok, so Menards beats Home Depot or Lowe’s, hands down.It’s like someone woke up one day and said “how do I put all other building supply companies out of business”. And then actually tried to do it. Great selection, great prices, and really nice environment. Little bit of anything and everything make browsing lots of fun, although it means that I rarely leave without impulse buying something. The actual supplies are extensive and well organized.So, to sum up: I really enjoy shopping here, and highly recommend it.

I love Menards garden center! They have a great variety of flowers and plants. I picked a few annuals and a few perennials and added them to the garden at my work. Now I just have to mulch and it will be complete 😊

Michelle in building materials was a GREAT help but Marrisa at the checkout was rude and had a nasty attitude. 😕 We were making over a $5500 transaction and had a hiccup with the card due to the amount and she was very rude and unfriendly. We are long term customers along with our contractors and this unprofessionalism is like a slap in the face when we have spent Thousands of dollars with your company.

I easily found what I went in for, but this time of year I always stop and look at the Christmas Village pieces. I couldnt find the cabin I wanted in a box, so a very kind associate arranged for me to purchase the display. The associate absolutely gets 5 stars!!!!! However, Menards only gets 4 stars for not offering the display at a discounted price, as it didnt even come with the original box.

If I could put no stars I would ! Went to get all my lighting fixtures and a young kid who couldn’t have been more than 20 comes up telling me to put my mask on. When I asked him about the mandate being lifted he walks away mumbling. I said excuse me ? To which he stops and says while removing his mask to talk 😳says the owner of the property wants a mask still to be worn. Okay I’ll take my money else where. You don’t need me and I don’t need you. 👋🏼

This Menards almost always has what Im looking for. The floors are always super clean the shelves are well-organized with plenty of inventory.The staff is segmented into each individuals specialty so if you run into someone from Plumbing and are looking for something in electrical they will find the person that you need to talk to you quickly.The cashiers are always fast and pleasant to talk to you and if the lines start getting along the management will jump in and open new registers to get everybody checked out as quickly as possible.They have a great pet section and they also have a small grocery section that has some pretty essential stuff in it. If you look up something on their website and then go there to get it and for whatever reason they dont have it they will special order it for you and have it shipped to the store usually in less than 2 days and they will call you to let you know your item has arrived.They definitely stand by their warranty on their products, I had a fan in a dust collector fail I did not have my receipt but since it was a Menards brand product they didnt send it away to get fixed they give me a brand new one.Kudos to everyone that works there they do a great job and I highly recommend this Menards location.

If I could do no stars I would. Menards is very concerned with people wearing masks in the store to help during the pandemic, which is fine. But they dont care at all to adjust their policy on returns to accommodate people who were quarantined, or people who were impacted by the pandemic.2 sliding glass doors were purchased (not special order). We had to return them. We asked 3 separate employees (Sydney, dont know the other names) about how the return would go since it was past 90 days, to ensure we received our money back. We were told that we would be receiving our money back on our card used to make the purchase but we would have to pay an additional $100 to send them back. NOT A BIG DEAL. However, once Menards received the doors, we were told we would get in-store credit only and if we didnt want that, we would have to pay an additional $100 to have them sent back to us.I have since spoken to 3 managers (Alex, Chad, Dan), the customer service department (Tammy), and their corporate contact (Ray) for issues and as of today menards still has our doors, kept the original $100 we paid to ship them, and we have not received any compensation for our return.Apparently I opted into a non-disclosure agreement when corporate emailed me because they dont want me to share what they had to say about it. Because if the public knew what they said, they would realize that if an issue comes up YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN when dealing with this stuff. If you were to read it, you just might think twice about where you spend your money. They dont care enough to fix the problem, they just dont want people to be able to share their experience and impact their business.If they have what you want and you come in to buy it, you wont have any complaints. Menards seems like a good store. However, if any issue comes up and it doesnt benefit them to help you, they are not going to help you. The main reason I was given by the store manager for why they wouldnt issue a return is because These two doors are hard to sell and we dont have room for them. Its a crazy world we live in right now but my experience was so bad that I feel passionate about never shopping at menards again and they couldnt care less. Remember that the next time you go into menards to make a big purchase. They dont care about you. Its all about the profit. You most likely will not get your money back.

Loved using this store until the lumber yard gate employee closed the gate on my truck hood causing damage. Filed a claim with there insurance company which is still not resolved to find out that the gate guards are a third party contractor now have to get forwarded to there insurance company. No sorry or anything from them.....Over the course of ten years and building two houses spending tens of thousands of dollars see if I’ll ever be back.....thanks for nothing.

Went there today 5-16-20 with my 16 year old daughter. The lady who was the greeter asked me about my mask, I told her due to my health I could not wear one, she then proceeds to ask me for proof. First by law I do not have to disclose my medical reason. Nor did she have a right to do ask. Then because my daughter does not have a state id yet she also refuse to let my child in. Menards is the only store in the area policing the customers like this. Went right across the street to Home Depot no problem with not wearing my mask and my child was able to go in with no problem. Menards you have no right to ask people who have a medical reason for not wearing a mask, nor tell parents our kids are not allowed. I feel sorry for single parents. But thats ok we will never shop with your company again. my 300.00 went right into your competition. I hope your company goes under before this is all over!

Found a generator on sale, went to the cashier to pay. It rang up differently then the sales price so I questioned it. Department manager went back to look at the price, came to the front and said we’ll honor it. I was ready pay and get on my way. Alexis gets involved from the front service desk and is on the phone. 5 minutes pass as I’m standing at the cashier waiting to check out, she returns from that phone conversation and proceeds to tell me the price listed isn’t correct and they can’t sell it for that. After another 10 min standing at the cashier I got tired of waiting and walked around to where the generator was stocked, just to find 5-6 Menards employees/managers huddled trying to figure out what to do. Chad, the store GM gets involved at this point and mishandles the situation entirely, came into the conversation like a bull (exactly the opposite of how you should handle these situations). It was clear they didnt have a reasonable answer and were trying to come up with irrational reasons without common sense to not sell it for the price shown. Joke of a store and customer service. Back to Amazon.

I was buying a large quantity of lumber for a project. Needed to ask one of the three CSRs chatting near me for help. I told the CSR the difference sizes I needed as he pulled them. At check out I confirmed with the cashier the number of pieces for each size. Turns out I had been shorted one of eight pieces and two pieces of another. I had asked the CSR to recheck and make sure everything was on the cart before I went to check out. This cost me valuable time.

Menards is vastly different from Home Depot in terms of how they handle COVID19. I went to both stores on May 22. Home Depot staff and customers are not required to wear masks. Most staff are not wearing masks and half the customers are not. In contrast, at Menards, all staff and customers are required to wear masks. There is a huge sign at the entrance of Menards requiring masks and listing safety precautions. Masks can be bought for $0.99. I feel much safer at Menards. I feel like Menards cares about keeping people safe. I will not be going back to Home Depot.

I seem to go to Menards a lot, and the one thing that I always find to be the case is that not one person there will ever ask if *they* can help *you*. Its always up to the customer to hunt someone down. And when you do, for the most part theyre helpful. They know where things in their department are, and they can usually answer questions. Last night I was there in an aisle with a person who was working there. I k ow he was indeed working, not just standing idly by. But it was also obvious that I was confused and not finding what I needed. It just would have been a nice show of customer support if hes stopped what he was doing for a moment and asked what I was needing help with. Thats all. Thats my only gripe about Menards. Because that is their number one persistent issue. Its like theyre trained to be like that, and I think that Menards needs to reconsider how they train their employees. They are a very good company, but they have the potential to be a great one with excellent customer service. Just my two cents...and the $450 I spent there last night.

I disagree!!!!I strongly encourage people to think twice before they shop at Menards ever again.I recently place an order for a large number of landscaping pavers and mulch online. I was a little disgusted at the $89 delivery fee when I live 1.8 miles from the store (Mapquest verified) but figured its better than making 20 trips back and forth myself then having to load/unload.Now please know, I am not against paying a delivery fee, I just think $89 is a bit high.When the store called me to arrange delivery I was then informed that there will be an ADDITIONAL fee of $30 for the driver to drive the pallet loader 10 feet north instead of 10 feet south. Because I wanted the pallet placed on the side of my house instead in my front yard.I tried to cancel the order but got the run around. So, I gave in and paid the additional fee.I cannot believe Menards is so greedy to charge me $120 to deliver my $205 worth of product less than 2 miles from the store. I never begrudge anyone making a living but this is just sad.I grew up going to Menards with my grandpa and continued the tradition when I became a home owner but after this, I will never step food in a Menards again and hope others will think about this scenario the next time they embark on a home improvement project.Customer service no longer exists and things will only continue to get worse as the Me generation moves into power.Very disappointed.

My wife and I have been living in Valparaiso saw when the store was built i have been shopping at menards for all my product needs I am suffering with two bad hips and have to use a cain your employees treat me with respect and is very helpful to me and other shoppers that is in my condition, in the store most in the people know their product (you have to identity the people that need more product training) the renovation was awesome if you can financially see your it would be good to put most of your products under one roof with the exception of the the lumber barn on the other hand maybe it could be done it is self help now. Last but not least YOU ALL need to have more than two electric carts at least four to five on each ends of the store the waiting time for The disabled is 30 minutes to one hour the average time it takes to shop with an electric cart is one to two hours you have a 85 percent of disabled people go back home. I hope that whoever at menards read this would pass it on to the person that makes the decision And not hide it
