I purchased a bed set back in July 2020 the delivery drivers seemed very impatient and rude.They scuffed the stairway wall to my apartment I JUST moved into. They said they talked to the manager but didn’t. Whatever I got it off. The wall they put the dresser on I moved the dresser and I see they banged the mirror to the dresser on the wall and cause a big gash in the wall.

Why does this business honestly think I would give it anything less than a one star? I would give it a zero if Google would let me. We did a $30 agreement to put payments on track while doing so we let them know that I started a new job, which pays better & that my first paycheck wouldnt be until 7/10. One manager said thats ok we will work with it. While the other manager said he expects a payment prior to 7/10. He told my wife he wants his stuff back or a payment & goes on that we are only 6 days behind, 6 days lol what a joke. They must really be hurting if they are worried about a paying customer being 6 days behind. That explains it looking at local stores only 45% of them are still open. However, should we really have to pay for them closing stores permanently?While every other company has worked with us. Verizons payment is going to be 30 days behind, but they are fine with it because they value us as customers unlike Rent a Center who would be only 20 days behind vs the one who is 30 days behind & not throwing a fuss. Keep in mind Rent a Center calls 5 times a day, which is a little excessive for me. No one else calls nearly that many times. Thats harrassment in my oppinion. However, let me ensure you the worst part is that they dont care about you or their customers; they only care about money, which this whole situation has proven to me & should you too. That being said you may want something, but buyer be ware, I wish I would have before going with them. Keep in mind they have competitors & I would go with them before choosing them again. That being said, if they take their products over this situation then they will not see me or my money again; when they would have seen both had they just waited 20 days. They lose a paying customers over 20 days? Seems a bit ridiculous to me. I have a big following with Social Media because I have my own online business along with working & trust me its getting shared. Social Media travels fast...

The Valparaiso, IN rent a center is the absolute WORST place to rent from! Primarily because the associates (BETHANY) are EXTREMELY RUDE including the manager STEPHANIE!! Both her and her employee threatened me when trying to do business with them over the phone. Bethany was the first person to call me EARLY in the morning and threaten to drag me to court and sue me for all Im worth because I was behind on a payment. She continued to be extremely disrespectful by calling me a thief. So when she finally hung up on me. I called back to speak with the manager (STEPHANIE) to resolve the issue as to why her employee called me so early in the morning to threaten to sue me and my family for all that we are worth and call me names, and also to discuss her employees very poor attitude. Then to my surprise the MANAGER began to yell too!!! Stating Well when are you returning it?! Why are you calling my store?! Then the profanity began with her! So I immediately hung up. That was my FIRST and LAST time renting from a rent a center. Talk about a horrible first time experience. Both should be terminated and if those attitudes continue with those employees and MANAGER then that location will get shut down so fast its ridiculous. If I couldnt give a star then I wouldnt but the site made me pick so BEWARE of the rude employees there! Im done with them and will not recommend that location to ANYONE I know!
