I went into the Shirt Shop on Friday, August 27th. I received excellent service from Bethany and her staff. I was treated extremely well. I had someone personally assisting me throughout the entirety of my visit. I ended up purchasing a polo that was customizable with an vintage logo. I could not be happier with my choice and am excited to wear it for opening weekend.

HORRIBLE!! The owner is SO RUDE! Follows you around the store like you are stealing, stares at you the entire time, and makes you feel like you aren’t good enough to even be in there. I’ve been there 3 times and always had the same feeling. The owner even insulted one of my family members for the way he was dressed! I refuse to go there ever again or spend any money in there, and I will be sure to spread the word on how they run their business!

Never shopping here again. One of my sales reps reached out to see if they would be interested in us sending them a holiday sample box. She was treated absolutely terrible. There exact words were: Its the holidays, if your line was good enough to be in our store it would be by now. Thats the kind of attitude that gets you left in the dust.

Shopped here on the Saturday before Christmas and although I don’t usually leave reviews I was impressed with this stores service and quality of their products. The staff here is what makes this place the best. I’ve never met people who were so into providing the best customer service experience around. I got a size too large in a jacket once and I had to exchange it. Not only did Bethany go find jackets in my size but elected not to charge me the difference in price. I always get the help and knowledge of the products in store to assure I’ve got the right size in my hand at checkout! Not only that, but they are quick to respond to my Instagram messages, and send me products!

See. Leck. Shun. Selection. And service. Thats the 2 things I always find at this place. Yes, there is a ton of inventory but thats because they have 100 different options from which to choose - just when picking out a button up shirt. Its the same for slacks or a suit, they have every option you can imagine or have seen online. They dont have just blue and white button downs, they have every possible style/color/pattern which is awesome. Its almost hard to make a decision but they help you narrow it down to what you really like. They greet you when you walk in and help you find what you want and they dont show you something you may not like. And then they make sure it fits. Imagine having someone show you around, help you find just what you like, and then making sure it fits you just right. Its one of the finer things you can enjoy.

I visited in June 15. Greeted with a genuine southern hospitality I would have expected nothing less. The stores staff is amazingly well versed on clothing trends, styles and fittings. With a passive soft selling techniques. True haberdasher experience.

First time visiting this store today with my family in town for Easter, and the staff followed us around the store acting like we were going to steal something. When we left after looking around, one of the staff members followed us outside to see what we were doing/if we had stolen something. I wont be visiting again, and I do not like to feel like Im being watched when Im shopping and Im genuinely just looking around.

5 out of 5. Not too much experience with this place, but the few times I have been it has been good. I purchased a high dollar pair of sunglasses from here. I ended up having an allergic reaction to the nose pads. I took them back to the store a week later and they had no problem exchanging them for another pair. Service is always friendly with somebody always asking if you need help when walking in (but not in a pushy kind of way).

I went to this store over many years after graduating from Alabama buying $1000s worth of merchandise in the past. This past year I picked a Peter Millar Windbreaker that Charles Spurlin the owner personally said he would get monogrammed for me, I paid for the windbreaker and the monogram and left expecting to pick up in a week. I live out of town and made a special trip back to pick up the next week. On arrival Charles notified me that the logo was printed upside down (duh!) and that he would get another one and have it done with either the retro Alabama logo or get a new windbreaker. I returned for the third time and he told me it wasnt done and that he would refund my purchase price. Well Charles you cost me three private trips to your store, endless aggravation of incompetence and not receiving the windbreaker that I chose and paid for. My time is valuable so we are not square. What is even worse, I gave you my number and you said you would call me to let me know what could be done. Needless to say, I heard nothing.

I have shopped here for many years. Now that I live out of town I still make special trips to come back and shop at the Shirt Shop!!!

Ive ordered online several times and was very excited to bring my upcoming freshman brother to the shop, which carries many items we *would* have been interested in purchasing. I almost purchased groomsman shirts from them last fall and am so relieved I didnt. I will not so much as order online ever again. Im in my 30s and was well dressed aside from a necessary Columbia rain jacket and was joined by my mother and younger brother. When you walk in, it feels like an episode of Hoarders. Everything is everywhere. Stacks. Piles. Overstuffed racks. No sense of organization. It feels like an overstocked Goodwill with name brand stickers strewn about. Prices may or may not be on items. Seeing how poorly $80+ shirts are kept in the store is a definite turnoff.Even less settling however, was being followed by the staff as if I was going to stuff their items in my small Kate Spade crossbody bag. Should the three of us separate in the tiny shop, thered be a person on each of us at the snap of a finger--and this is after I found a staff members cell phone in a pile of clothes and turned it in to them. As we perused, I heard them complaining OH. THAT is why theyre here. Orientation.Thats when I rounded up the crew and we visited different stores with organization, fantastic selections, and genuinely kind staff.Save yourself frustration, a headache, and money. Skip this stop.

Best customer service Ive ever had.

One of the employees was really rude to me when I asked for her assistance. I asked her a question about a gift certificate I purchased the night before for the store and she told me they would not honor it because they were not participating in the site anymore. That is bad customer service, I work in retail and that was not the proper procedure if I had the certificate present with me as well as made a payment of $50 already. I will not step foot in the Shirt Shop ever again and that is a promise.
